Great property and so beautiful! Justin checked us in and was very helpful. They have a 3rd floor amenity where guests can get ready before / after check in. Pool area is beautiful. Can’t wait to come back !

Poor maintenance in the room : night light would not turn off and had to sleep with light on. Toilet did not function well and required several flushing. Had to request a change to another room and wait 25 minutes to speak with night manager ( who was very pleasant). Did request a late checkout and staff was very accommodating.

Overall good

It was nice overall. Hovewer, we were informed that the concierge will reach out and make some recommendations or booking for us. Nobody reached and when we were trying to reach nobody picked up nor answered our emails. That was a disappointment. Also, I booked the hotel because of tennis courts. Nobody told us as well as no information was about reconstruction of tennis courts. Will never come again, it’s far from what we expected.

Luxurious but still so cool

Absolutely Superb. 10/10, LOVE. The vibe, the suite, the pool, the people, all of it. Sexy, sophisticated, stylish, and playful. Luxury without the pretension or stuffiness. The best.

We absolutely love everything about Miami Beach W! The staff is amazing! This is our 4th time staying at this hotel with our family and it never disappoints!

Mr Chow restaurant at this property is a total disappointment!

The kind folks here went out of their way to make our stay special. Room upgraded to a beautiful suite with a great ocean view, a bottle of champagne and some treats, house car to take us to local restaurants (we didn’t rent a car), constantly asking us if we needed anything. The weather got more gray and rainy as we got closer to the arrival of a tropical storm, so we stayed inside, rested and enjoyed so much. Can’t wait to come back to S.Beach. We are staying here at the W!

Good location for South Beach if you want to be somewhat removed from the chaos of being in South Beach.

The location

We have been coming to W South Beach for the past 13 years and this is the first time that service by the pool was average (below). This property especially always excelled in providing an excellent service so it was disappointing. No attention was given when trying to get someone’s attention to get menus, place orders etc. To be faire, some servers were better than others but the overall experience was not being taken care of. And really, since the service charge is automatically added to the bill, why would they care how they treat the guests, right? We will not be coming back.

Amazing staff

Great stay, great service, amazing property.

In my opinion, overall our room was not extremely clean. I noticed crumbs on the coffee table and they were still there after they cleaned our room for the day. So the table was not even simply wiped down. I thought the service across the property was just OK not great. No one explained the property to us when we checked in. We had to figure out the restaurants, times open and where to go. We were never told about the WiFi. Obviously I figured it out when I went on my phone. I expected much more across the board based on the hotel. However, the assistant manager of the hotel (I believe that was her title) was extremely nice.

Nice hotel, close to the beach, but some area can be more improve. And i asked for umbrella 3x by the pool, and i didn't get any. They heard me clearly, but they seems to try to pretend they didn't hear me. The view, the pool was amazing, clean, great size of room, the French lady by the cart and the front staff are very lovely. They did a great job assisting my daughter's food allergy. Thank you!

I gotta say.. 5 times in the Miami south beach area and this is one of the best hotels i have stayed in. From the welcome to the departure. Friendly staff. Amazing rooms. Excellent service. Great food. Great drinks. Close to the beach. I know where I'll Be staying the next time i come back to Miami.

Birthday trip to Miami

The hotel made my whole stay there very memorable. Before my arrival the concierge was in touch with me to know what they can do for me, the reason for my stay etc. They were very sweet to me and upgraded my room without me asking for it. I got to check in much earlier, extra time for check out. When I returned from the beach, I saw champagne, bday dessert and chocolate in my room. No doubt I felt like a special person on a very important trip. Everyone in hotel was really nice, friendly and professional. I definitely recommend staying in W South beach, especially to celebrate your important dates, as the way this hotel treats you is beyond your expectations!

Beautiful resort, five star all the way. Outside of two minor issues, the in room phone didn’t work after two days and one glitch with room service, the experience couldn’t have been better. The staff was excellent, the service impeccable, the food and drinks were top notch and the amenities superior. Obviously, a five star resort is going to have some ridiculously priced items but there’s a liquor store directly across the street and a Walgreens on the corner to counter that issue. I’d recommend the W for sure if you’re planning a south beach vacation.

Only the housekeepers and phone operators are good. Knocked the door and asked us to check out at 11:00AM when we were still packing. As a resort hotel, it is really small. Probably it’s in Miami Beach, so it’s limited space.

It was what we expected! Classy and amazing in every way. To the grounds to the rooms the pool ect. Amazing! Good us delicious! Especially the lobster roll.

The room is nice and Maria is very helpful too. However, on my check out day, we didn’t get the 2pm late check out requested earlier. They gave me a 12pm. The AC went out at 1130am. But I was told it wasn’t on purpose.

Really awesome property on the Miami Beach. Very convenient. The hotel staff is extremely friendly. We were assigned a check in concierge - Maria who was super amazing & helpful. She helped us with restaurant recommendations and reservations plus all the activities at the hotel and in the area. Definitely stay here again.

Would have liked to have the upgrade

This was by far the best hotel experience I have ever had. I don’t want to go to any other hotel because I fear it will not uphold this standard. I want to come back just for the hotel. You don’t even have to leave the property; There is so much to do right within. The pool, the food, the amenities-top notch! I highly recommend this hotel to all. I will only be staying here from now on when I visit Miami. Phenomenal-stand out staff were Noella (happenings)-I would come back solely for her, Don (check-in), Pablo (house car), Cat (pool), and Wayne (security)! Thank you all for your hospitality and support in making my partners birthday amazing!

Poor service in terms of delivery and package handling. Took an entire day to locate a package I had shipped to the hotel a day before my arrival.
