What are the benefits of becoming a SMART member?
You can lock a specific amount of AVA tokens in your wallet to receive discounts on selected travel products and AVA, Bitcoin or Travel Credit rewards back on bookings. Depending on your Smart tier, you will also gain access to the AVA Smart Bonus and Ambassador Bonus, enabling you to receive rewards in the AVA token and Travel Credits, respectively. You’ll also receive governance voting rights on key platform proposals. Plus, if you pay for your Travala.com booking in full with AVA, you can get an additional discount on your booking.
How can I change my giveback reward from AVA to BTC or Travel Credits?
BTC and Travel Credit givebacks are only available for Smart Diamond & Platinum members. AVA givebacks are set as the default reward currency. To change to BTC or Travel Credit givebacks, Diamond & Platinum members can set their preferred reward currency by navigating to the AVA Smart Program section of their account.
What is the AVA Smart Bonus?
The AVA Smart Bonus enables you to get an annualised AVA token bonus of up to 20% on your locked AVA by completing Contributor Tasks OR spending AVA on the Travala.com platform every quarter. More information can be found here.
