Couldn't check in until 3pm, even after calling and organising a early check in, they didn't even arrange that for us. There was no communication at all. The hotel room was on the 21sy floor and it was super noisy being right next to a busy road, the pillows were like really lumpy and hurt our necks. For a room that cost $1000 we only got a small bottle of water complimentary that's it Staff were lovely tho but had popr communication skills.

Everything was perfect

I was at the W with my daughters for my birthday it was a wonderful experience and had a great time

I was in a bit of a pickle they helped enormously. Check in was easy, parking was a bit harder because I must have came at a busy time so had to wait for help from the concierge. I wanted to have a bath but couldn’t because there was no hot water after trying to fill it for 20 minutes so I didn’t like that. Everything else was just amazing

My first time at W Hotel and certainly will not be my last. The room was everything I expected and more, it was much more spacious than the pictures depicted. I mentioned to our Valet Driver it was our 40th Wedding anniversary and the next time we entered our room there was a helium love heart balloon with a beautiful box of chocolates holding it down. It is this attention to detail is what sets the W apart from anywhere I have stayed in a very long time. Would highly recommend W Brisbane

Great Staff very friendly and helpfull

The place is amazing. However when we were poolside we struggled to get our drinks and food order taken by anyone, then our drinks were forgotten. Staff walked right past us without cleaning our plates or drinks or offering more. We were prepared to stay a while and have few drinks while our kids swam but this didn’t happen. Same service style at dinner as well. But overall amenities are amazing.

The point of difference in the decor, it is quite sensational when you walk in to both the foyers and the rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Our 3 night stay was ok but unfortunately didn't match the price paid for the rooms or for a 5 star hotel. We came for a short break and to relax but was looking forward to leaving. Positives: Nice view from a River View room with sunlight in the afternoon Gym was big and uncrowded Foyer is nice Staff are lovely Not so great things Housekeeping at 3.30/4pm everyday is so inconvenient and not a 5 star experience. We would come back to an unmade room each day after walking the city all day then have to leave when the cleaner came around The cleaner did not vaccum or wipe anything down. The same fluff on the floor was there for days in addition to the ironing board left out in front of the tv. The bedding linen feels cheap and worn and the polyester pillows have an uncomfortable feeling compared to say The Sofitel. The bedding doesn't feel luxe or enticing to lay on. The staff member that entered into our room unannounced on the first day (when my husband was in the bathroom) asking for another guest made us feel like anyone could barge in the door. The loud all-night roadworks downstairs were not known to us before booking creating a disturbed sleep (yes you can hear it all night, not sure when it will stop). The River View rooms can also hear highway traffic. Overall it just wasn't a relaxing stay and after 3 nights of interrupted sleep on cheap bedding, we couldn't wait to check out and move on. Next time we will head to the Westin and the new Star hotel when it opens

The W is contemporary, which has held up after being open for a number of years now, but the property is in desperate need of maintenance. The paint is chipping everywhere you look, the contact adhesive decorative film that's on the bathroom doors is peeling away and same goes for the scarab beetle motifs in the lifts and beyond. The in-room technology is also extremely dated. Definitely not what you expect from a premium hotel that is $700 a night. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

Great location. Modern property. Not 5 star. Poor inefficient service. 20 minutes taken to check in. 45 minute wait for fresh towels. No turndown. Overall not a premium offering.

Wonderful stay, staff and hotel

We loved the change from the usual stale hotel vibes. Stunning room and views with all the little touches thought of includong craft beer in the mini bar. An extraordinary stay.

Excellent hotel that actualy lives up to its reputation. Only issue i had was room service main meal had no cover on it which meant I had to eat that first before my starter which was a cold dish anyway. Apart from that would certainly stay here again. Staff were faultless in every respect and eager to help.

Property was great and contemporary, however over the 2 nights it was quite a few misses in service - starting with a delayed check in and missed food orders at the restaurant. Call out to the bar tenders at the Wet deck who were wonderful though!

I always enjoy my stay at W - the staff go above and beyond to make sure we are looked after. The hotel itself is incredible - modern, fun and very well cleaned and maintained. And the food is definitely a highlight, with lots of options, all of them delicious.

Beautiful hotel! A must stay!

Our visit was fantastic from the very start. We liked how edgy and modern this hotel was, and we especially like the rooftop bar with the pool that was open 24/7. Everyone that worked there was incredibly kind, however, Liv Brown from Concierge stood out the most. She made us feel really special and set us up with some wonderful plans. We greatly appreciated her.

Amazing hotel. I was in the "lowest" room type and it was spectacular. Very high tech in the room, every lighting option and even the curtains can be controlled from a console on the bedside table. The pool and bar area gets a special mention. Amazing stuff.

The W Hotel is truly wonderful. My daughter and I had a girls weekend and it was a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

The property W Brisbane was an excellent hotel. There were two aspects which were not great. The bathroom toilet and shower door is what I consider a cheap design, whereby the door slides one way to enclose the toilet and opens the shower, and slides the other way which opens the toilet and closes the shower. it means there is no privacy to the shower or the toilet depending which is in use. Also, we were charged for a service which was not used. We only discovered this when we arrived home to an invoice for it, separate from the room charge and breakfast. I complained by phone twice to complain, was assured it would be reversed, but as yet, a week later, there is no refund.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful my stay was. The staff were brilliant, kind and helpful. The hotel room was beautiful and had everything you would expect and more. The in-room dining for dinner and breakfast was first class. Thank you for such a restful and first class experience.

Really love this hotel. Super clean, staff are nice, rooms are gorgeous, beds comfy, great pool. My only suggestion would be for the gym to have mats! Also the lighting “pads” are difficult to see at night if nature calls. Overall a fantastic hotel.

Generally the experience was very good. The only thing I don't like was the staff member tried to open the door to get in my room using their own key without confirming with me if I was in.
