The front desk gals were so great!!! I wish I would have gotten BOTH their names. The young lady working the kitchen in the mornings and dinners was so much fun to talk to and recommended a great place for me to get my nails done. The front desk gal with the black glasses was outstanding and so friendly! I believe A RAISE should be in store for BOTH OF THEM!!!! I felt very comfortable and at home in the evenings. I would definitely stay here again and PLAN on it. Especially if those two are working! Also, to the gentleman putting plaster on the ceiling as you walk in , “you are doing a great job!” Throw a raise at that handsome face as well!

This property could easily be 5 stars if it had better management and staff that took pride in maintaining and cleaning the property. The room itself had a great concept and layout but the furniture and appliances desperately need upgrading. The room also could use a deep cleaning and carpets should be removed/replaced. If the hotel could do these fixes I would stay again in a heartbeat. Staff could also be friendlier and go above and beyond instead of just giving the bare minimum. The area was quiet and safe though felt kinda weird in the middle of a lot of factories.

Clean overall but the sofa bed is not a double more like a twin.. does not fit more than one person.. the room should be listed for 3 ppl not 4. The breakfast was great and had a variety for everyone even my picky 11 year old.

We had booked and paid for a room for a king suite. When we got there they gave us a queen suite. When asked about this they claimed they were full and no king suites remaining, even though we booked in line and paid for the king suite. Also, the room smelled like urine… it was disgusting. Was planning on a 5 day stay here, but only stayed the 1 night. Will not return…from canada.

The place had dust all over the textured walls and ceiling. When asking the front desk for towels they told me to find housekeeping on my floor. I told them they didn’t have any and just looked at me. I will not be considering Staybridge Suites on my next trip.

The bathroom needs to be remodel, tub was rusty looking, walls needed painted, had a musty smell. Pool & Spa needs TLC/renovated not very clean nobody vacuum it out so we didn't use it. It was pretty dirty on the bottom including the spa. WE PAID TO MUCH MONEY FOR THE ROOM NOT ABLE TO USE THE POOL/SPA. Breakfast was ok, no bananas or muffins out

Check-in was easy but when it came to taking a shower the next morning the knob didn't work properly. Both my mother and I both tried at different times since we both wanted to shower in the morning. Breakfast was good.

Clean and new

Been at this hotel 3 times in last 9 months for soccer tournament. Hot tub and jets has not worked any of those times. Huge ants all over the pool area still there and pool cloudy each time very dirty. Pet friendly hotel but dogs barking in rooms all the time.

Was easy, came to town for the night for the show

Room didn’t have a phone to call the front desk when we found out the hide-a-bed bedding was missing, and the hide-a-bed itself was quite uncomfortable.

Minus the hot water not working the first 2 nights during my weekly stay here was great.

Couple things that could have been better. No icemaker in the room, tub in the room water did not shut off completely and they had trouble with hot water heater all week. On our last day we got a notice that water would be shut off by noon, which we had by then already checked out. But the staff very nice and helpful. Breakfast pretty good. It is clean.

It is an average hotel that needs to be updated. Until they do, they need to refresh and touch-up areas in the rooms (i.e. the bathroom). The front desk staff was wonderful.

Terrible. Room was a disaster, bith showers were disgusting there was mold all around and out of the bathroom as well as chalking all in the shower as if they were trying to hold up the wall. Just disgusting the carpet left out feet black when we walked on it. We checked out a hour later it was so bad. The lamps did not work and the pool was disgusting. Nothing as advertised. I wouldn’t ever recommend this place. They offered no refund or a room change. Just terrible

The staff were super nice. Our room needed so many updates. Kitchen wasn't stocked with all necessities. It was hard to get towels. Pool was closed about half of our stay. The area is not great and there wasn't anything super close to it. It was tucked away in a shared parking lot. It definitely was not worth the price we paid

arrived very early 830am husband was not feeling well, they checked us right in. Having a spacious suite was great 2 rooms kitchen I was able to hang while he was in bedroom. Very clean, professional staff and awesome breakfast bar

Second stay at this location. Has gone down hill! Lamps somehow rusty, popcorn ceilings black by air vents (they even scraped one), showers have horrible pressure, some light switches don’t work, and some channels don’t work. They are now trying to charge for parking when they aren’t near anything except a huge parking lot. Breakfast meats either massively overcooked or reheated from the day before. Really disappointing.

The staff was the phenomenal. Front desk women are amazing. Breakfast was clean and staff was friendly. Appreciate the ladies from the Bahamas the most!!

Rust on night lamps. Stain on sheets. You have to pay to park in the parking lot. One of the elevator was closed while the other one was very slow. Need more room in the breakfast area. Customer service was awesome at the front seat !

I had to check out as soon as I got there my husband went to make coffee and roaches was in the coffee maker.

Staff was super nice, very responsive. Rooms were clean but the dishes in the kitchen were not. Breakfast changed each morning and was good however the evening happy hour was quite sad.

I wish I could give the staff 5 stars because they were all helpful, friendly & make you feel at home. My issues were with room rate $284 a nite, dated/old/rusty furnishings and they only cleaned the room/replaced towels once on a 5 day stay. Front desk, breakfast and cleaning staff were super friendly and caring. If my lamp didnt have rust, tiles missing from bathroom, drawer handles missing, rugs needed steam cleaning, tv's kept saying no signal & werent smart tv's.

When we checked in room was not locked. After leaving for a short time our key cards would not work and we had to go back to desk to fix. When one of took a shower( tub area and sides were dirty and moldy) we discovered we only had 2 hand towels in entire room Another trip to desk to get corrected. The air handler was poorly located in front of bed and sounded like a rain storm all night long.. After that poor night of sleep I wasn't feeling very well and we checked out a day early.

Having the availability to have to bedrooms in one room is very nice when traveling with family. The room sizes are great!

The staff here are excellent! They were all friendly and super helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms great. Breakfast really good. And very convenient location for our lacrosse tournament at the Sportsplex at Tampa. Everything we did was within a ten minute drive!

Pool dirty and hot tub not working.

Main reason we choose this hotel was for the kitchen and hot tub. Told staff every day that it was not working. Never addressed and I was never told a reason. I would have stayed else where if I knew in advance. Room was very small and rug had a tear in it. Bathtub looked like it was repainted but it had spots were the original color had come thru.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The room smelled musky and felt dirty. The AC return vent in the bedroom 207 had what looked like black mold and there was light black on the ceiling where the air returned. None of the USB ports to charge phones worked. Food options were many, but hot food not good. It’s what I’d expect for under $100 a night…not $150.

Disappointing

Very disappointing in that the key system was not working - we waited a long time to get back in our room after coming back after our show at the Amphitheatre, and we couldn't even use our keys - the desk attendant had to get us in with the master key. I have never had such a disappointing stay.

Just an ok stay

The rooms need a serious update. We were given a room that smelled like mildew. Staff tried to open our door twice without knocking after we had already checked in. The trash cans still had trash in them from the previous guests. The pool area looks like no one maintains it. Just over all very disappointing. The price was inflated die to many events happening that weekend and it definitely wasnt worth what we paid.

This property has a very nice staff, but they are critically understaffed. Our suite wasn’t ready until almost 6 PM on the day of check-in. There were no towels in either of the rooms. The tub faucet had a leak. I believe that understaffing is the main issue. The staff were doing their best under the circumstances.

Had to wait for our room along with many others as the hotel had several call outs. The front desk clerk was great with handling the situation and was even helping make beds to speed up getting rooms available. Convenient access to 75 and quiet at night. The breakfast had good options and was actually pretty decent food. Plan on staying again in the next few months for another trip.

Mold on ceiling, shower wouldn’t drain , kitchen silverware dirty , no towels for a shower , pull out sofa had stains that looked like blood and no bedding , shower had mold , big yellow stain on the carpet in sitting area.

No room service, its like low budget motel

There is no room service, I literally had to beg to the front desk for towels / toilet papers each day, they stated they only do room service every 7 days. No trash collection, they wanted me to leave the trash bag outside the room, waste of money, did not advertise that there will be no room service. Hiding behind 'environment'

The room was very spacious and nice. Only issues experienced was the first night the AC went bad and thermostat showed 80 degrees and I was unable to change it. I advised the staff the morning of and they were quick to fix the problem while I was away. Also the general area is not the nicest. During nighttime hours the streets are dimly lit and there’s a prison close by, does not give off safe vibes. And lastly upon leaving, staff knocked on my door at 10:15 asking if we’ve checked out, when check out is scheduled for 11:00. Felt a bit rushed to leave. Feel like the experience could be better, and need more knowledge about general area before booking.

The property and staff are good. Definitely could use some rennovations but overall not bad. Surrounding area is a ghetto. Lots of shady characters. The entire parking lot smells like marijuana. ( That might be a plus for some people but not for me and my 5 year old who keeps asking me whats that smell Daddy)

My family's stay at Staybridge was good. What made it great was the breakfast clerk by the name of Itsel. She made our mornings. Extremely helpful and pleasant. In addition, the front desk clerk that checked us in was also very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I do not remember her name, but I do remember that it began with a L. However, we were not very happy with the fact that no one actually cleaned our rooms. Our vacation stay at Staybridge was for four days and not once was our room cleaned. Our used towels were removed but not replaced. I had to walk back to the front desk to request new ones. Not sure if it was due to an issue in staffing but it definitely impacted out stay.

Dirty

The staff was super friendly. My room was exceptionally clean. And it was convenient to the Florida State Fairgrounds for a concert that I was attending.

All of the staff was very nice and friendly.

The hotel was fantastic! The rooms were very spacious, nice beds and pillows, and just all around very nice. They had a great breakfast with multiple options (sausage, eggs, home fries, yogurt, granola, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, toast, multiple types of juice etc). They also had a dinner buffet of various pastas, meatballs and sauce. Every single staff person was phenomenal!! For the ladies at the front desk, to house keeping, to those serving breakfast to the man who was mopping the entry. Seriously! All were so helpful and kind and went out of their way to suggest beaches to visit, places to see, and all of our options. I told my kids I want to move down there just to work with such a great group of people. The energy and vibe of the place just made you happy. The hotel before this one was depressing af and it felt like everyone was annoyed with you. But not here. I genuinely loved interacting with the staff. I’ll definitely be back!

This was a very disappointing Staybridge Hotel. I've been to several others, but in comparison this one was very lacking. Although check-in is at 3:00, we could not get into our room until almost 5:00 p.m., after a full hour of waiting with a handicapped person. Their housekeeping is very below par, our room was not clean even after the wait and housekeeping had to come back and re-clean portions. Even the front entrance has cigarettes butts thrown around on the ground for days. Manager help was non-existent for the first entire day. If you value cleanliness, good customer service, and respectful communication with the front desk, this would not be the place to stay. Surprisingly disappointing.
