Tiny nice hotel in the center of st.Petersburg.
It was really small hotel, actually it was just a part of the floor of 6th where they are using as a hotel. The problem I had was the elevator of the building was really really tiny. It carries only one person with a luggage. Beside that, everything was nice.
Lovely affordable hotel in heart of St Petersburg
Nice small hotel on 6th (top) floor of apartment building.
Great Location
We stayed here for it's great location. If you can ask for the corner room (#7), you will get a great view the Admiralty Building and Hermitage Museum. Everything was in walking distance, you could take the Metro, but would miss all the great shops, restaurants & coffee shops along the way to the major iconic sites like the Church of Savior on Spilled Blood, Hermitage Museum/Winter Palace, St Isaac's Cathedral, the Faberge Museum, etc.
it was okay
The hotel is on the 6th floor of shared residence. The building is very old, like with most buildings in st petersburg, the elevator can only fit 2 medium sized people, no bags (keep that in mind) it also felt like it had 2 people pulling it up barehanded with a rope. The hotel room felt cold, especially at night, even though it had a radiator on. Keep in mind security is high, and the hotel staff have to buzz you into the building, and then again when you reach the 6th floor. The flooring is thin and you can hear the foot steps of people walking down the hall. The breakfast was okay. The staff were polite (this was my second visit to St p) and the staff in this hotel were a lot more helpful and polite than my last hotel. There were no faults with staff, definitely two thumbs up. Nice work. The hotel location is perfect, right next to the hermitage and food shops etc. For the price i paid, i'd say it was good... Although thicker bed sheets would have been good, they were paper thin. Oh the elevator broke down the morning i left...i knew it was going to happen...glad i wasn't inside...lol
