Nice cabins. Some close to the very busy road. Road noise is prominent. Otherwise nice stay
Great space. Clean and quiet.
Very clean, great service and very very comfortable. Very spacious!!
Very nice little cabin.
Cabin was comfy and no issues.
Beautiful, well-maintained property set in a lovely, rural setting. Location approximately a one hour drive to Jackson Hole, WY.
Amazing place to stay in out of the way Idaho
We were just passing through but the accomodations were very nice and modern. 2 BR, 2 bed, 1 pullout couch, and kitchenette. Simple check in, everyone has their own cabin and mini driveway. Really a no fuss kind of stay and for a family of 5 it was phenomenal. Wish we could have stayed longer.
great stay for your visit to Grand Teton
Sleepy J Cabins was one of our favorite stays on a 13 day vacation where we changed hotels almost every day. The lady who checked us in was super friendly and delivered extra towels for my family. The cabins really don't look like a traditional cabin from the outside, but they are very nice inside. I loved the massaging recliner in the living room. My kids loved that the tv had youtube and they could watch music videos! The bed was comfy, the sleeper sofa was comfortable to my kids. I liked the decor of the place. We were a little sad we only had one night here because we liked it so much.
We were just passing through on our way home. I wish we had more time to stay here. It is such a cute little place. If you were in the area I highly recommend it.
We only stayed here one night, but really enjoyed our stay! Angel was very communicative, gave us lots of information, and responded quickly to any questions we had. The cabins were a little harder to find at night as it was very dark, but once we got there, we were impressed with the space and amenities. We would definitely stay here again!
This property was excellent! It was a nice break from regular hotels we had been staying at on our cross country trip. There is a waterfall in the area that you must check out if you stay here. Customer service was great. Well with the price. Our room had a massaging recliner which was nice. This gets my highest recommendation!
One of the best places we've ever stayed. It was spacious, quiet, easy check in. No breakfast; glad we checked before we went so we were prepared, as shopping in the area is limited, but the kitchenette was stocked with utensils. The bathroom was wheelchair accessible so it was huge, but it would have helped to have an extra shelf or hooks, especially in the shower. Great place to stay. Would go again and stay longer.
A Gem in Gem State
This hotel exceeded our expectations. Very spacious in a beautiful valley with everything we needed nearby.
Very easy check in process. Staff friendly and helpful. Clean cabin.
Nice little cabin close to beautiful areas
Everything as expected! Fishing camp in a quiet town. Great service. Prompt and helpful response. I would stay here again.
This was a cute little cabin in the middle of nowhere. We were coming out of The Tetons and needed something in our budget and this was perfect. The owner was very courteous and made sure check-in instructions were clearly communicated to us. It had everything you would need and was super comfortable. The only thing we would have loved is some black out curtains or curtains in the bedroom because it got super bright in the morning. Would recommend this place! Driving over Teton Pass was a little scary, lol, but it was a nice drive after that. Saw a moose on the road on the way!
Worth driving out of town
These cabins are located in one of the most scenic river valleys I've been to. So the location is worth the added drive from Idaho Falls. The cabins are quaint, but adequate. The bedrooms are really spacious. Found this place looking for a one night stay on our way north to Montana. And was really glad to stay here out in the country instead of in town. Dining options were limited, though. But this varies based on the day of the week (weekends are better).
We found this little cabin last minute after getting locked out of our forest service cabin. We were so happy to find a pet friendly place. It was super clean, had AC and ceiling fans. The beds were very comfy. Loved having a place to cook, although there’s some cute restaurants and ice cream place very close. The staff was very friendly. View from the back of our cabin was beautiful. Great place to stay!
This was the cutest cabin. Equipped, clean and close to needs, like gas, groceries or a few food choices as well.
Wonderful alternative to a hotel stay. If you tried booking something close to Jackson, WY, you know how "upscale" the prices are. Go a little out of your way and you will find this little gem. Very affordable and comfortable cabin away from the beaten path. Priced very reasonable, making it worthwhile to take a little detour through scenic national forests. Friendly staff and a hassle-free check-in. We made our way through Grand Teton National Park and then spent the day at Yellowstone.
They took such good care of us! They were on hand to take care of all our needs!
Sleep j
It was a little bit further out of the way than I thought but the service and cabin was amazing. Definitely would recommend. And the view was beautiful
Nice little place
Cute property. The amenities were what you might expect in an older cabin. All in all, a very nice stay. The refrigerator was very small, but we had use of the large one in "The Lodge". Convenient for visiting the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone.
Good follow up when room was ready and eta.
Amazing
Loved this stay. Super clean and comfortable. Will be back
Love the view from the front porch
Great property. Good communication. Clean, safe, and quiet. One bedroom oddly smelled of smoke and would’ve preferred clean towels each day, but great experience overall! Would go back.
Clean, Cozy & Quiet
Angel was a great hostess. Took care of our needs quickly and efficiently
Very peaceful and convenient and close to a lot of scenic spots
Great cabin
Beautiful cabin. Very clean. Enjoyed our stay very much, would stay again
Wonderful
Very clean. Took very good pics of the stars because there wasn’t much light pollution. Lady in the office was very kind.
Cabins are even better than on photos. Highly recommend to stay there.
Check in was great with tips for activities and advice on dinner. Rooms spacious & clean. There IS air conditioning (wasn't mentioned on site). Cabin close to the road on busy intersection, but no noise in bedroom. Would stay again
We stayed for 2 nights. Cabin was great. Staff was helpful when we have requests for extra beddings or bathroom stuff.
Excellent stay
Second time staying here. Pleasant and helpful staff. Good location, very quiet and peaceful. Will stay again.
Very comfortable clean well equipped and quiet cabins either new or refurbished. Open scenic country— unspoiled ranch land, rolling foothills with views of snow capped mountains Plenty of services Highly recommend
Great Place to Stay!
Wonderful place to stay while we took in the Grand Teton National Park area. Would highly recommend these cabins as a well maintained vacation cabins complex and its location in which to enjoy the east Idaho and west Wyoming areas.
We loved staying here it is close to the things we wanted to see and the host and staff are so wonderful and easy to communicate with
.
Wonderful place and excellent host.
Always like staying there, super nice cabins and very helpful staff. Thay always seem to go above and beyond for thier guest.
With all the mud and water puddles outside the cabin, I would have like one more rug to wipe our shoes on once inside the door. The blind behind the easy chair was very difficult to let down. 🙃 We persevered very carefully. Lovely, comfy cabin. Thank you!
We enjoyed our stay! Would like to come back again.
Nice place
Nice place to stay and it was fairly cheap considering the surrounding area!
Super clean and super quiet…great price!
Best stay in the area!
Cabin was especially nice. Clean. Staff contacted us and made it possible for a late arrival. Everything wasgreat!
Good stay. Only issue was stove burners did not work. Nevertheless we would stay again…with working stove.
Cute little cabin, very peaceful
Nice cabin
Our cabin was clean, quiet - a very nice place to stay. The people were very friendly and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend it to anyone traveling in the area.
we had one-night stay at Sleepy J Cabins. The cabin we stayed has one bedroom, one living room, bathroom, electric stove, and refrigerator. The rooms have ceiling fans. There was also a portable air conditioner helped cooling the rooms. Other than the bedroom, the sofa bed in the living room is large enough for 2 adults. Pros: 1. Spacious, clean, and well-equipped rooms. 2. Staff was responsive and easy to communicate with. 3. You could cook your own meal in the kitchen area. There were cooking ware and dinner ware in the room. 3. Surrounded by farmlands. Relaxing country views. 4. Close to gas station, and a general store. Cons (YMMV) 1. The cabin we stayed is right next to the road. The traffic started after 5am in the morning. So the traffic noise, (or sound) was kind of loud. For person sensitive to noise while sleeping, you could ask for a cabin further away from the road. Overall this is a good place to stay on a road trip.
I absolutely loved staying there with my family. All the employees I encountered were very welcoming people. The little cabin was extremely clean, and homey feeling. I was also amazed and thankful they called me , to let me know my daughter had left her purse . We returned as soon as possible. They kept it safe for her. Thank you for your amazing hospitality!!
Quite, nice kitchen, comfortable bed, with a massage couch, very pleasant stay, highly recommend.
Cute place
Jake the owner and staff were very helpful in resolving a few issues we had.
Welcome respite
The property was well cared for overall. The staff was very helpful especially related to hiking, safety and locations. There are good eateries, gas stations and very nice small grocery store within short walking distance. Additionally, the are some basics for food prep as desired; small fridge, 2 burner electric stove, cooffe pot, utensils. Bed was comfortable. We would chose to stay here again.
Excellent location and cabin. Book it!
We arrived and were greeted as we got out of the car. The staff member could not have done anymore for us, even finding a kettle for that essential English cup of tea for us. The room was immaculate and you could quite easily cook a meal for two with the facilities available. We bought our food in Jackson on the way so we have no information on shops or restaurants although there was menus in the room. The one bedroom cabin could certainly sleep 4 with the comfy bed settee. An easy 10/10 and I wish we could have stayed longer.
This property is a bit far away from Teton National park. Hotels in victor is closer
Nice and clean fairly quiet
This is a new or like new property. It was very spacious inside and nicely appointed. If you are anywhere in that area, this is a great value place. You were glad to have Steve @.
Perfect stay for our family of adult kids and one’s boyfriend. Budget friendly, comfortable, and not too far a drive from Jackson Hole. We are driving through, headed to another National Park the next day and it was a great location.
Great communication, very accommodating for late-check in with advance notice. Clean, comfortable. Exactly what we needed.
Lovely room house! ‘Felt very much at home.
Kitchenette design is poor. No counter space. Other than that it’s a nice cabin. Receptionist was not very friendly
The cottage was quiet and comfortable. It was a perfect stop and wished that I had booked more time.
Great place to stay with really nice manager.
What a perfect place, clean, quiet and friendly.
This place is awesome. Highly recommended.
The cabin was very clean and surprised us with having dishes, silverware, pots and pans and cooking utensils. View out the window was awesome. Host was very nice. Only complaint would be the cover on the front door only covered half the window and the front door is inline with the bedroom door. Well worth the drive outside of Idaho Falls. Private, secure, friendly, and more than we expected! We will definitely return!
It was a beautiful, cute cabin, with a lot of space and we were all taken care of with amenities. The property manager communicated with us and was kind enough to leave the key, as we were running late.
Lovely cabin. I would definitely go back
Adorable little cabins. Very clean and well equipped. Our only complaint is that the heat isn’t working properly and it’s too cold.
Expedia allowed me to book this rental at 11:15pm. When we arrived at 11:35 the hotel the office was closed and locked. We were not able to check in and ended up driving all the way home.
Very nice and helpful host.
Very pleasant after 4 days on the river. Beds excellent and property is dog friendly.
Adorable cabins with mountain decor tastefully done. Owner and staff super kind and friendly. So clean and all the amenities needed. So private Would definitely come again!
A cozy little cabin
The cabin was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. The heat was hard to regulate, but The only other suggestion we have is to put a full length curtain on the front door instead of only head height. Otherwise we were pleased.
They worked with us for a late check in. The property itself was quiet and beds quite comfortable. It was my daughters favorite stay.
The cabin was so cute. The whole village was in a quiet, peaceful valley. We loved it even though it was just for one night
Home grown. Reasonable. Love the local generational business. Friendly staff.
Great Cabins! they were so nice and accommodating! 😀
We stumbled on to Sleepy J and was so impressed with our cabin! I highly recommend staying. The staff were friendly and Jake was just the best! Everything was immaculate, beds are fantastic. Couldn't recommend a better place!
Easy check in and check out prices. The area is just beautiful.we were glad to have a kitchenette.
Wonderful experience, accommodating, cleaning, friendly manager/owner. Definitely use again.
Cabin host was helpful. Property is convenient with easy access to Jackson. Clean and very functional.
Sleepy J is always a great place to stay. 3rd time in 10 years. Luv it.
Terrific place. I’ll go back.
Fabulous!!!!
The cabin was perfectly designed with everything one could need! Spacious, clean, and lovely decor. There was a massage lounger, long couch, table and chairs. Also, a tv in the front room, and the bedroom had a tv and a comfy rocking chair. Bedding and bed were super comfortable. Nice covered deck with great chairs for outdoor relaxation! Kitchen pans, plates, etc were so clean! No grease! Great location. Quiet, peaceful! Reasonably priced.
This was one of our favorite places we stayed on our 2 week trip across the country. Simple, but nice. We had all we needed and Chris was very helpful about what was available around. This is a very small town, but our stay was fabulous. We had two bedrooms that worked great for us. Not a full kitchen, but we could cook on a stove, had dishes available, a microwave, and a small fridge. I would easily stay here again.
Nice, spacious and clean place, it has all amenities for indoor and outdoor cooking/BBQ. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Such a great little cabin. Roomy enough for the family. Multiple TVs so no one needed to argue about what to watch. Made dinner on in the kitchenette. Easy access to snowshoeing trails and sledding.
very cozy and restful. Fireplace great. Did not have remote for dvd player to watch movie but that was not a huge big deal. The bathroom is cold with no direct heat source except to pull heat from other areas. All in all it was a great experience. Will got there again.
Was better than expected.
Liked having our own cabin. They had a portable AC unit in our room which was nice as the weather was hot. Kids enjoyed their own room. Liked the kitchenette.
The manager accommodated our needs for a non-pet cabin. The bathtub drainage was clogged, but was quickly fixed after we mentioned it to the property manager. The property is by a road, so you may hear the road traffic. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to request a cabin away from the road.
Small group of cabins, very homey. Spotless! Glen checked several times on our needs and recommended great place to eat. Area not very populated and cabins looked like a favorite with local fishermen. Felt very safe and was very quiet. Only regret was we couldnt stay longer. I would highly recommend this place to anyone headed to Jackson Hole and Teton. Probably our favorite place on a 10 day trip thru 5 states
Nice little spot to stay. Thought is was in middle of nowhere but it is one of the major routes from Central Idaho into Jackson WY., so there is a lot a traffic at times. If you are in one of the cabins along the road, traffic noise is audible. Really good place to eat is the roadhouse just down the street.
It was cozy
Excellent
Such a great place to stay highly recommended.
usa holiday
great place to stay, nice set up , Very tidy and clean, great staff. Handy to supermarket and food outlet. Well worth the stop over.
