Perfect staff

Wanted a copy of credit card and stressed the no smoking issue and a fee of $200.00. I don't smoke and felt a bit uneasy when he persisted on the subject

Not the property’s fault but had to adjust the stay by one day and had to pay for both nights.

Literally was nothing like pictures , doors had holes at bottom , beds hard , the tubs and sinks had hard water stains, and let’s not get on the fact I literally felt so unsafe!! I wish I never pre booked an paid n advance

Front desk was very nice. We had a good stay bed was very comfortable.

I booked an accessible room with a shower when I got to the property they booked me on a second floor when there was no elevator I was in my wheelchair. The gentleman at the desk asked me if it mattered whether I needed a specific bed. I was fine with a two queens or a king, but the bathroom was not accessible. I had to leave my wheelchair outside the bathroom They had no means for a shower chair they had given the only shower chair to another client. I had to take a bath, which was quite difficult there were no bars in the bathtub to hold onto. I had to get on my knees and push off the toilet to get out of the tub. The only thing that was accessible about that room was the area around the bed on the one side of it the other side, I could not get to, so I had to sleep on the left side. I also could not get to the window because the desk was right at the end of the bed if I had my walker or my wheelchair, there was no way of getting to the other side of the bed, I had to put the desk chair in the corner of the room , the hair dryer busted and smoked and each time I used the microwave it started sparking one night I needed to go to the ice machine that was broke. I went to the machine to get a soda and a snack and ate my change and wouldn’t give Me the money back so I went to the desk and the woman that was at the desk was rather rude. She gave me three dollars and change and said to me that if it did not work again, she would not be giving me the change again.

Nice, clean, comfoetable- accomadating for our small pooch! Friendly staff! No frills, but was fine for us! Coffee in lobby but not in room- no continental breakfast, but price was good!

Always a good experience to stay at this affordable Inn. The staff are conscientious in ensuring rooms and bathrooms are clean.

Beds were made up with top sheet on top of the comforter. Very odd. Overall good. Grass needed cutting.

Most notable thing is there is no elevator. That didnt really bother me but i know other people would care. Other than that, pretty much your standard room for what you pay

Good for one night stay

Good enough for a quick one night stay. No elevator, no breakfast despite hotel description, parking lot is fairly small and there were only 2 spots left when we arrived close to midnight. Good service and seemed clean.

Comfortable but not cozy

The room was clean. I had problems acclimating to the air in the room. It had a strange, musty odor, which made it hard to breathe. I had to change beds due to too much air blowing over my body from the air/heat unit. The A/C cooled sufficiently but had to be kept blowing for ventilation. The TV remote was not user friendly. There was no soap holder at the sink.

great mattress

It was good for the couple of nights. They should offer other amenities besides just coffee. The property itself really needs to be updated. There should be an elevator especially for ones that have problems going up and down stairs. Other than that it was overall good.

Nice good location, there for a hockey game. Would stay there again.

We were greeted in the parking lot by a shabby building that had clearly seen better days. Parking lot was dirty, and there was a couple outside chain smoking and from their loud conversation? Clearly living there. Still, we went into the lobby. We walked into a very dark, dirty, and smelly lobby with a line out the door. We immediately left and found other accomodations as neither my daughter nor I felt safe. The pictures on line are a misrepresentation of what we actually walked into.

It had extremely dirty carpet and no elevator with three stories. No amenities worth while. Nice staff, but badly need to update their hotel.

The property was okay as far as value hotels that allow dogs go. But the smell of weed permeated the whole building. How can you seriously make me sign a form promising not to smoke in my room, and at the same time I can smell weed everywhere? I swear I witnessed a drug deal go down in the parking lot as well. My wife did not feel safe enough to go outside at night by herself and smoke. I went out a couple of times to take the dogs out and it was sketchy at times. The location was good, and I got a decent nights rest, but the wife complained of doors slamming in the halls all throughout the night. I probably won't stay there again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I care about.

Cozy

I was in need of emergency shelter and this was a nice change for 1 night. Very clea and comfortable. Will stay again.

This hotel is ok if you’re staying for one night - and have no other options. Staff was very friendly but the room was semi clean- the towels were not the cleanest and sheets had questionable stains. This is an inside/outside hotel and the rooms with 2 beds are basically on outside part of the hotel. No elevator.

Dated and dirty. Bed had a smell to it but i guess one hets what they pay for.

Very comfortable staff amazing super clean

Simple enough and provided what I needed (really, just a place to sleep for the night), but both the shower holders for shampoo/conditioner and the body wash were completely empty. Friendly staff though, and clean rooms other than a couple of blemishes.

This is a perfectly fine hotel for one or two nights. The area is 1 minute from the mall and surrounded by much better hotels. I felt safe and the checkin associate was wonderful. The property is a bit outdated and in need of some TLC but I feel like it was appropriate for the price.

Smelt like weed as soon as I got to my room, went go back to change room still didn’t feel comfortable staying there

We had a very good check in. The lady was super helpful & friendly. It was quick and painless. It was clean and safe. Great stay for the value. Would totally recommend it. Not anything fancy and no breakfast but you can't beat the price.

Great stay close to Crabtree mall!

The gentleman was friendly and professional at check in. The lobby was bright and clean. Room was clean, comfortable, quiet, updated and had fridge and microwave. The hotel was much nicer and more reasonable than those in the area. Will definitely stay there again!

Everything was good for my stay

Stay was ok

In town for a weekend for family wedding. Wasn’t planning on spending much time in the room. Clean enough, except for a couple of spiders. Coffee bar in the lobby was not much more than a machine to fill small cups. We skipped coffee. Front desk staff very pleasant. Room faced parking lot, so needed to keep curtains closed even during day because people could look into our room. Very awkward.

The hotel was ok. There's no elevator. Not many channels to watch on tv. For the price it was ok.

Great Stay!

Great price, very clean, and perfect for if you're going to an event near the PNC Arena. We went for the Blink 182 concert and were very happy with it. Also the neighborhood is great and it's located in a very good and safe neighborhood. Its very quiet and in a great location. Very friendly staff and pet friendly. We brought our Chocolate Lab and didnt get charged. The sheets, to be a pet friendly hotel were very clean and you'd never know its a pet friendly hotel. You cant be the price for the quality ya get. I hope they dont jack the prices up in the future because we'll definitely be staying here again for any events.

Room was clean & beds were comfy. Parking was very limited and parking spaces very tight. Staff was friendly & efficient. Overall a good find for a 2 night stay.

Good except microwave

Very clean and a good stay, probably the only thing is the microwave not being the best, other than that, everything was good!

Economical Stay

There was no one at the front desk when I arrived and I stood around waiting for significant time before someone arrived. Parking lot is very small, although I was able to park both times I arrived. Appears to have a lot of working groups that stay there. It looked a little sketchy when I arrived, but the room was clean and modern, although it had a strong smell of cleaner or air freshener. The TV remote did not work well, which was frustrating. It was a good price for an emergency one night stay while my horse was hospitalized at NC State.

This is my first time ever booking a hotel. Very easy check in and check out process. Hotel was a decent price and I would stay here again. Room was also clean and smelled like bleach which was fine with me.

Smelled like weed most of the time we were there. Room was hot upon arrival and the toilet ran on and off all night. Convenient location to mall and restaurants. Prices reasonably but the smell was to much for my liking!

This location was clean and convenient for where we needed to be. Everything was handled efficiently. Staff was pleasant, courteous and friendly. The main thing was I found my room to be a little on the small size. I didn’t feel claustrophobic.

Good price for pet friendly hotel

I go here every year for business with my family and pet traveling with me. They are very accommodating and we have never had an issue in our 4 years here.

It’s was nice for the price no craziness and good location

Hotel is clean as well as rooms. Only stayed one night so perfect. I didn’t have any issues with parking because I arrived at check in, when I left in the morning the parking lot was at capacity. I’m assuming this places stays booked and busy so be mindful of that if you do bring your own car. I’d definitely recommend and stay again next time I’m in town

Exceeded my expectations

Good price, no elevator, older carpet but kept clean, free coffee 24 hours a day was good. Front desk was helpful and nice.

Upon checking in, we received a room that was occupied. There were 2 people laying on the bed when we walked in. The room was clean but the bed was hard as a rock and there was no flat sheet, only a fitted sheet and “comforter.”(if you would call it that) The parking is terrible! We were not told of any overflow parking upon checkin, so when we returned from a concert super late, we had nowhere to park. I asked if there was overflow and I was advised it was in the back but it’s dark and not recommended to park there. Red Roof apparently has an agreement with the surrounding hotels to park there. Oh joy! How we loved walking across a barely lit parking lot and road at night, in an area that we don’t know! Let’s just say, I’ve finally learned my lesson…you definitely get what you pay for.

The room was clean. The area was quiet and convenient close to restaurants and shopping.

I will start by saying you get what you pay for. Room was clean. The pillows were like a pillow case stuffed with 15 socks…small and lumpy. Water pressure- a scale of 1-10 is 2. Took 5 minutes just to get wet. No elevator. Not a broken elevator. NO elevator. Only a short walk upstairs to the 3rd floor but bringing the luggage in and out sucked. Non smoking but halls smaller like weed.

Came down for TST Tourney and booked at last min. Was not disappointed. Convenient to gas stations, to the highway going to tourney, and leaving out of town, very quiet hallways and restful sleep. Fresh coffee in am! I was right downstreet from tourney players and watched them exercise in am. Plus plus! I would book again next time in Cary, NC

Needs updating

The room was pretty clean but the bed was uncomfortable with only 2 pillows and the bathroom needed major updating. Hard to figure out how to turn on the shower. Finally found that if you pulled on the bottom of the tub faucet where the water came out there was a "ring" to pull down and that turned on the shower.

They said they had rv parking. We show up and i had to park my truck and trailer on the street. They didnt have enough parking for the number of rooms nevermind rv parking. The sheets didnt fit the bed and were old and stained. The staff sounded like he could care less if i didnt have proper parking and my stuff got vandalized.

Great overnight trip to a PNC show. Close to PNC easy access. Staff front desk friendly got extra pillows. Easy in easy out. No elevator

Hotel was very clean. Friendly employees. But no breakfast! Website showed free breakfast. Disappointing. We had to run out at 7am to get something for the children.Tub had no grab bar or anti slip strips. Serious concern for older people. Parking lot was totally full every night. Some cars had to park on the street.

Hey they are trying hard. I needed an extra cheap hotel for one night. It did the trick.

Good Review

Good hotel, a nice area that is easy to travel around. Staff was friendly and informative. The parking lot is small, so you can have a limited amount of parking when coming back late at night. It feels like a nice area since you are surrounded by other hotels. The location felt secure, the door has a deadbolt at well as the piece that flips over. The room was spacious, the bed was nice, no bugs, a clean bathroom, the fridge worked, A/C worked great, and the plug ins worked.

Staff were friendly. Other hotels in area for dining and options close by. Was pleasantly surprised at the room. Had everything you needed and it was clean. Cons: no coffee maker in room. No breakfast even though listing said deli on site. Was lacking some amenities but got a quick stay it was fine.

First time in North Carolina

Came to Raleigh to visit my daughter… everyone at the hotel was very friendly… my dog Presley enjoyed her stay as well… will definitely be back sometime this summer
