Need little improvement on breakfast
Exceeded our expectations and in the heart of everything thing we wanted to see.
Choice the number of bed in the room carefully
The condition is ok. But there are places where many things just stored at the hallway. The room is fine. I registered three adults, and there is just one king bed. The sofa is small and is not a sofa bed. The breakfast is very good in my opinion.
Nice, excellent and carrying staff with delicious breakfast
Hotel need update, no power points on bed side tables. Cupboard door not close probably. Hotel next to freeway, sound proofing needs improvement.
The property is in such a bad condition I couldn’t believe it! AC doesn’t work! Room service sucks! I took pics and videos I will be writing a complaint to the parent company! I’d wouldn’t stay here next time! It’s not worth the price they’re charging I could stay at a much better hotel and pay a lot less!!!
The hotel infrastructure for guest rooms is dated. Cracks, broken tiles and sub par air conditioning. It feels like time travel to 1980s.Inside the hotel one can see neglected corridors, faded carpets, and guest rooms with last century broken furnitures and dirty light fittings.Strange bathroom tile patterns with old broken utilities.Avegare breakfast with limited choice for vegetarians. The only things going for this hotel is it's good staff and the location. Various tourist locations within 5 to 10 min taxi rides. Metro station just 2 min walk away. The entire hotel infrastructure needs to be updated and chefs need to produce some intesting breakfast items. The lobby is also just OK for evening gatherings. Some how this hotel doesn't meet the advertised standards online.
Amazing staff at Superb Hotel
Had a wonderful experience at the Radisson Blu Ankara, thanks to the amazing staff at the hotel starting from the reception. Everyone had a smile on their faces and were helpful and understanding. The central location was within walking distance of major landmarks and the High speed train station... Our Junior Suite room on the 12th floor was ready and beyond expectations with 2 balconies and great views of the city... The food we ordered was amazing and so was the sumptuous breakfast... One of the best experiences staying with family in Turkey...
Old and outdated. The furniture coverings and carpets dirty with stains. The floor lamps either do not work and or unstable and about to fall. The table in the middle of the room does is unstable and I had to support it against the wall. The bathroom is very small, dirty, old fashioned badly lit and no ventilation. The showerhead is defective and toilet seat worn out. All in all, it's not worth the 4-star it claims to be. Terrible experience and will not stay there. TThe staf do not work honestly and tried to put us initially is even a smaller room if I had not objected.
Good service but rooms are a little dated
Well located across from the park if you need to be in this part of the city. Easy and cheap to get taxis / Uber Excellent 24hrs front desk service though not everyone is fully fluent in English Room was comfortable with a little balcony which you can step out onto. Room and especially the bathroom looks a little dated
Very helpful and friendly staff
A good location!
Excellent service, excellent staff
Our stay was wonderful. Very friendly concierge and staff. Every one was willing to do their utmost best to assist in every possible way. They helped organise taxis, restaurant reservations and help get to local places. The staff accommodated for Ramadan breakfast, prompt service was provided. Very professional and welcoming staff. Provided all the help they could to transfer luggage. All staff members at Radisson, Ankara should be promoted.
Nice location for old town
The hotel condition was good, the staff, they were very rude, except the bellman, the room was too noisy and Internet was very very low, housekeeping was very poor cleaning the room
The property is good condition, but loud noise at night. soundproof issues through cracks and around windows, very Unhelpful front desk representatives, except the Bellman, 4 star hotel with Very weak internet in the room unbelievable.
I like this hotel.
Good and Comfortable
Conviently located old Ankara close to station and historic citadel and mosques within walking distance
Great staff, location, clean and near park to walk and playground for children. Nearby restaurant and supermarket.
The hotel was located in an ideal place for me and what I wanted to see in Ankara. There was 2 of us in the room and I thought it was a bit small for us, however, the balcony view was wonderful. Dining area was spacious with great options. Only issue I had was with the lifts which were infrequent at times.
Nice location for old city of ankara excellent view
We arrived at 1330 hours and was told room wasnt ready and come back at 1400 hours. We paid for breakfast and car parking when we returned at 1500 hours and room wasnt still ready. When we got to room the carpet was soaking and had to call the cleaner plus the room smelt of damp and cigarettes. We asked for non smoking as we had kids. The following day we went for breakfast and was told breakfast wasn't booked. 5 staff in the restaurant in front of customers eating breakfast telling us we have not paid. Instead of checking with reception or computer system made us walk to reception to get the staff to call. It was a disgrace and embarrassing. Staff in the restaurant very rude.Good job we only stayed 1 night. This hotel falls why below the standard of radisson
Powerful AC and the soft bed in the room.
I would highly recommend Radisson Blu Ankara
I had an exceptional stay at Radisson Blu Hotel Ankara. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. The room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. The central location also made it convenient for exploring the city. I would highly recommend Radisson Blu Ankara for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the city.
close to ankara old town also main train station All historical sites within walking distance
All is well
Very nicely located in old ankara town centre
Can do little improvement about noise pollution
Good place!
Thanks for the kind service! Thanks for the fruits . The place is good location. The hotel is nice, but it needs some renovation. Breakfast is good, but omelette station would have great.
This was my second stay here and I’d go back again. I love the hotel for location right next to the metro, opposite a lovely park, and within walking distance of the castle and old town. Restaurant serves a good range of food, and the rooms are well appointed, modern and clean. I stayed in a junior suite with balcony and amazing view. The downsides are small. Bathroom needs updated, but is clean and perfectly fine. Housekeeping is a bit hit or miss, in that they remove used coffee cups but don’t replace, and don’t always fill up empty toilet rolls, tissues etc. This happened repeatedly and you have to search to get replacements, but not a major issue. Reception staff are professional and pleasant, but I’d love a “hello” when you walk in. It’s a tiny thing, but would make the place seem so much friendlier, especially for a solo traveller!
Very comfortable beds. Nice staff friendly staff reasonably priced very clean rooms.
My stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel was exceptional. The entire staff that I interacted with were pleasant and always willing to assist. The room was not only clean, but also incredibly cozy, and the staff's exceptional service truly made my stay more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting downtown Ulus. I am definitely planning on returning here for future visits, and I will be recommending this hotel to all of my friends and relatives. Thank you!
Great Value
We stayed at the Radisson on a quick stopover through Ankara. The hotel was very reasonably-prices and our room was clean and comfortable. It is an older hotel so the bathroom was a bit outdated. Parking was free and easy and the staff were all very professional and welcoming. We really enjoyed the cafe/bar in the lobby. Breakfast was okay—the room was very crowded and the service was average.
Room I was giving was small room furniture was health hazard I cut my self with table top glass edge
Nice location for Ankara old town free car park
Unreal view!!)) Perfect
Perfect!!!) Thanks
I usually choose this hotel because its location at central Ankara
Nice hotel, big rooms and reasonably clean. Hotel is showing age though. Staff professional, the Porter concierge was very friendly and helpful.
E
Central location easy access
Friendly, English speaking staff but there was very bad internet connection in the rooms, breakfast was very poor, sleepers , body lotion etc very poor quality. I am from Georgia, capital city Tbilisi, we have excellent Radisson Blu Hotel , very fancy, posh, new abs nice building.
Nice and clean place
Excellent location
Fine for an overnight stay.
The hotel needs urgent renewal. Everything is a bit old and outdated. There was a noise coming out of the air conditioning even after I turned it off. The staff was very attentive and kind, they changed my room. Good breakfast!
About Average
If you are on business trip and have a car. Location is very good. Employees are friendly and helpful. Hotel parking is limited. Building is old. Room was small but clean. Bathroom equipment is old. Hot water is not consistent. Hotel gym is adequate.
OK hotel, nothing special
Very moderated hotel, not very impressed.
Liked the location. Did not enjoy the restaurant food.
Hotel is a bit old but maintained well. It was also clean. Location is fantastic. It is probably overstaffed so there are plenty of people around you when you need. We stayed as a family in jr suite. Standard rooms may be a bit small for 2 people.
Overall is nice I love employees very helpful amenities.
Great location, trustworthy quality.
Great location and comfortable stay. 10 min walk from railway station and 20 min walk to historical site. Classic Radisson, clean and polite.
Hotel rooms less than 3 stars, the room furniture was old with a lot scratches and defently out of date, the balcony view was the best in the town. Location was excellent next to every thing.
Beds was in very bad condition with sound , Air-condition now worked properly and very load sound , very dust and smoke smell , Not as expected of Radisons standard comparing with other cities, floor was not clean
Okay
Bad service. Charged for breakfast higher price than posted. Didn’t even give us the full breakfast for 2 out of the 6 total members in our 3 room stay.
As expectation, Radisson blu is one of the lead, the hotel deserve 5 stars, the reception staff were so helpful and willing to assist, many thanks to them.
FirstImpressionIsGood
It was a short business Trip and I enjoyed the hotel. Due to corona breakfast was not so good but this is not their fault.
Radisson Comfort in Ankara
Friendly staff and comfortable surroundings but breakfast is expensive.
Good but kind of old
The room is not well insulated Air kept coming through door and windows fittings Very good location Nice staff Excellent breakfast
Generally it was good. Clean and breakfast was ok. But room was small and the refrigiator was locked.
Very friendly and helpful staff - great location - wonderful breakfast buffet.
Well located, free parking, good view over the city. Nice breakfast. Functional for business. The hotel is some old fashioned and simple for a 4 stars.
Nice view of the Atatürk Memorial. Nice little gym. Nice staff. But the hotel needs quite a lot of minor maintenance.
Ankara stay for Ataturks anniversary
good location, service again good, food poor for a 5 star rated hotel. smoking is still permitted in the hotel which causes the smoke and smell to travel throughout the building, the rooms need to be updated as you only have a small shower within a tiny room people who work in the hotel were very helpful best I have come across throughout Europe, information about good restaurants would have been great
great location
Great location with beautiful view. Close to train stain and moreattractions
Close to many Tourist spots. Neat and clean rooms though a little small.
Good central hotel
Lovely clean hotel, which was conveniently centrally located to the city centre and very close by to a metro station. Most places on our itinerary were less than a 25 minute walking distance, which I found was a great way to explore the city and take in the sights.
Good location. Close to center of the city and restaurants.
Very welcome and helpful staff..
The room was small and the bathroom was old, very poor guest service they would not bring us ice or would not come when we would call them for something, breakfast was repetitive and nothing special, the only good thing about this hotel was that a major metro station was just downstairs (ulus station), overall the price was ok.
It was amazing, I enjoyed
Located walking distance to most of the stuff we where interested in. Restaurant choice in area limited to same stuff. Accommodation was great, breakfast great.
Not clean, very old, doesn’t look like the pictures
Good service, great view
Good service, helpful staff, very nice view of city.
Location of the hotel, easy parking and the city view of Ankara
The room was quite run-down and smelled of cigarette smoke even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The shower was very basic and the water didn't get so hot. The sink tap sprayed water everywhere. The bed was comfortable.
Nice Hotel
Hotel is close to historical area. People was nice and hepful. Rooms was comfortable and clean. Liked it.
Always perfect place for hospitality.
Always an excellent. When l stay in Ankara my choice always Radisson blu hotel. if you stay in Ankara and looking for comfortable, central , good value and high hospitality place , Radisson blu is a perfect choice. I highly recommended this hotel to everyone. Thanks again for great hospitality and decent service.
Excellent hotel, outstanding staff.
Always an excellent. The hotel is very good shape. Best choice for staying in Ankara. You don’t have to look other place . I highly recommended this hotel. Thanks for great and friendly services, especially for front desk staffs.
lunch is borderline ,,, bathroom is not clean, wifi were so weak
Good hotel
Nice conveniently located hotel for a business trip. It was a bit far from the trendy eating areas. But good service and friendly staff. Rooms are a bit old but I was upgraded and nice views etc. Overall would recommend this hotel.
Excellent service. Great value for prices. Balcony added bonus.
Great location for tourists.
Nice hotel. A bit old but worth the price. Not very central but within reach.
Hotel facilities are old. Convenient location
Comfortable place to stay
Hotel room was very small, but I was only going to be there for a few days so it worked it out. Not ideal to share a room with another person. Breakfast was OK, there was enough to put together a decent meal. Everyone who worked here spoke English and were very helpful whenever I needed it, even gave me a late check out when my plans changed. The only thing I will say is that it’s a bit far from everything (25 min walk to the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, about an hour to Anitkabir) which means you have to taxi to a lot of places. Overall if you are only going to be in the city for a few days it’s a comfortable place to stay but if you want to be closer to the attractions be prepared to pay a little extra to get there.
Bar staff need seriuos education!
Radisson blu
Radisson blu hotel and Ankara in general was fantastic, the hotel staff were very professional and made us comfortable during our stay... It was really a amazing what we have seen there
Ideal central location for sightseeing right in the heart of town The first and second Turkish Parliament, Kocatepe Mosque, Ataturk monument, etc are within walking distance. There is a subway stop right outside the hotel. The area is very safe and clean.
Great. Centrically located. Most important: It has its own parking lot
Nice hotel in the middle of the city
For five days staying they clean the room one time only . Food is very bad test .
Hotel was good but old , great location ,wifi was sucks
The rooms were smelling on cigarets
Nice hotel with lots of services
This was a work trip. We arrived on the 13th, shortly after the Ankara bombing . The hotel staff were very friendly, calm, and accommodating. We had a misunderstanding I e the taxi, but management was quick to make it right! I will stay there again!
Excellent services and clean rooms. Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Ankara.
Noisy
The reception lobby was fine, arrived late in evening and was given room on 2nd floor opposite bus station, very noisy. I complained and was moved to a room on second highest floor. This was an improvement but it was still a bit noisy. I have stayed in other Radisson Blu Hotels before and it does seem that the design acoustics are a consistent defect. One point of note, the breakfast is probably the worst O have ever encountered. I had others staying in the hotel and they refused to eat anything. Service at the bar was very slow on the second evening was so slow that I walked off, it improved on other evenings.
Good location
Not as good as other Radissions I have stayed in. Poor breakfast buffet - poor servcie from staff and food cold. Air conditioing unit dated in room and not as effctive as required On second day room seemed to have a limied clean and items were not replaced e.g face towels, waters and toiltries.
Everything is A-Star in Ankara!
We just love it, the General Manager is so warm & kind. We drove around Turkey, and he gave us his card and tell us to call him anytime we need help. We also had a very good rest in this Oasis that is close Genclik Park. I know at our age we are probably too old for Luna Park, but it really did not stop us having some fun with the locals. All in all, the experience of Ankara is just marvelous, a marvelous city with wonderful people - starting from Radisson Blu :D
Somewhat Disappointing
This hotel is not really up to Radisson standards. Service is poorer than most.
Good location, economical price and courteous serv
The location of the hotel close to main train station and right in front of an amusement park. The price I got through Expedia was much lower than the standard of the hotel. A good budget hotel with something for for every family member.
The check-in and lobby areas feel cramped and limited in space. The security check arch at the entrance seems unnecessary, as it is not being used by staff at all. The bar area occupies a significant portion of the lobby, yet it is rarely utilized by guests. Additionally, the pricing at the bar does not seem reasonable, making it less appealing to enjoy. The breakfast area is situated in a narrow space, and the plates are inconveniently placed on mid-row shelves, making them difficult to find. The food selection is average and could be improved to better align with the Radisson brand standards. That said, the hotel was generally clean, and the room was spotless, though the bathroom appeared slightly outdated. Overall, in my opinion, this hotel could be rated as a 3-star property.
