Upon arrival instead of the normal credit card for incidentals, this location requires a $100 deposit. Which they state doesn't refund for up to 7 days, so they insist on cash via the ATM in lobby. Continental breakfast is extremely limited. No hot foods, other than waffle maker which the owner stands over you while you make it. No syrup for waffles. Apple/Orange juice machine only dispenses water.

The hotel room is just OK but I've prepared for that because I read the previous reviews. I booked this one because of the location and stayed for 4 nights. The service in the hotel was just terrible, especially the cleaning ladies. They were so rude that they made very loud noise with the machine and their talking in the hallway every morning starting 9am. They knocked at my door every morning asking about room services though I hung the tag of DO NOT DISTURB out every day. I'm a night owl so I need good sleep till late morning, but I was constantly woken up by the noise and barely got enough sleep these days. I know my check-out time was 11am, but they came knocking at the door 20 minutes earlier to ask me to check out. I've been traveling around in US and other countries but never had such experience. I will not recommend staying here.

This location was just ok. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The facility itself was "worn" and could use some updating. The noise from outside was a bit annoying but it did quiet down around 10 or 11 p.m. It was a good location for me because it was very close to the meetings I attended.

The room was not cleaned after previous guest. Stained blanket, loose floor boards, noisy guests

Location is convenient to downtown Dallas. Staff made no effort to accommodate needed changes. Customer service was poor.

Need to weed out the riff raff

Overall stay was fine except when someone offered my partner to buy drugs, toilet was was a little faulty. Had to open the tank to h lo the toilet full every time we used it. Staff was great and helpful when my key stopped working.

Broken and dirty facilities. Stained countertops/sink. Found a booger on the shower curtain, floors were dirty.

The toilet didn’t work. I asked them to fix it multiple times.

The check in was easy. The room was outdated, could use some maintenance on bathroom. The only complaint i have is there was no bath tub plug, and you could see tons of hair from previous guests in drain. So i did not take a bath, shower only. Also Ice machine did not work, so had to walk to other property for ice, and a guest list her keys next to Us, and every time she opened door, he alarm went off, for over an hour, and she had parked in the middle of 2 spaces. Breakfast could have been better. Waffles was only hot option. Coffee was good.

Very basic, breakfast was a joke! 2 stale donuts, only sugary cereal, no protein at all, no juice only drinks (sugar again). No fruit. There was not a single healthy option for breakfast. It was loud outside and could be heard inside. Lumpy pillows. No place to hang or clothes! What??? We will not be back.

Starting off only stayed at this property for 2 nights, 2 nights of hell and i will never stay here again. I really dont complain very much and im a very understanding person. But providing 1. Dirty towels, 2. a room that smells like smoke and must, 3. dirty sheets is ridiculous and 4. An awful communication and 5. A shower that over flows and the water goes everywhere on the floor. I asked for more towels as they only provided 2, and i use 2 towels just myself. My fiance had to use my wet towel to dry off because the front desk said they dont have any. We waited for the next morning, the lady gave us 2 and i explained about the water and she said at 9 i can come back and get some, unfortunately i was out exploring the city and apparently we need to be on their schedule. Anyhow i came back and asked the front desk agent yet again, and he refused to give towels because “i need to put my used one outside” no one told me that but also those towels were being used for the floor because it was wet due to the shower over-flowing and going to floor. Ive traveled both in the US and out of this country, never have i stayed at a quality inn and i will never again after this experience. The lack of customer service and the ridiculous communication or lack there of is completely inappropriate and i can not express enough how stressful it was to stay at this location. Instead of enjoying my time in Dallas its been awful

Very clean and quiet

This place was dirty as hell. I found a dirty sock in one of the drawers, the sheets wasn't clean and I found mold. I did not change rooms because each one of those things weren't that bad but they can't even check the drawers and I didn't spend a lot of time in there anyways.

Free breakfast

The price was adequate but the staff neglected to return my ID during the check in process. Blamed me for " losing" it when in fact they had given it to another guest by mistake. Make sure you get your ID back during check in. The rooms were dirty and the sheets had burn holes in the non smoking room.

Lack of communication

It was only one night to stay and they ask me for deposit $100.00 and refund me on 7-10 business days and it’s no fair, on the app don’t say nothing about it

Terrible choice

I would never recommend this property. It is sketchy at best. There was a cigarette burn in our comforter in a nonsmoking room. The beds were small (full). The room had a bad smell. The furniture is old. The room didn't seem clean. The area did not feel safe. It was so bad that we decided not to stay.

You go cheap, you get cheap

The beds were fine. But... The bathroom was poor. The shower lacked place to put soap and shampoo. The toilet seat was loose. But... the shower had hot water. The breakfast was marginal. The ice maker was broken.

Stayed on November 7-8, 2024. I didn't have hot water for shower bathing in the day one room #130; then experienced too noisy upper floor while changing to Room 116 on day two midnight. Not recommended.

Agents did not find Expedia reservations for two.

Great Overnighter

It's perfect for short stays. There are no scenic views. However, it is near restaurants, stores and immediate access to the interstate. Also, rooms were clean and comfortable.

Broken ice machine. Some sketchy looking guy in a wife beater stands watch over the kitchen area. *BEWARE* The breakfast options are very limited (bagel, toast, waffle) but do not take a bagel back to your room. Its a 15 dollar charge for "to go" breakfast.

Checked into a room. It smelled damp or musty. Dropped my bag off. Headed out for the day. Came back to take a shower and there was no water. Had to switch rooms. New room smelled better but refrigerator was caked with Ice and unusable. Day of checked out, someone knocked on my door at 10:59 am for 11 am checkout telling me I need to go. Never ever had that happened. Mind you, I spent 40 minutes changing rooms the night before.

The gentleman who helped us at the front desk was nice and helpful. The room was a bit dirty, but the bed was very comfortable.

Comfortable and Affordable Settling

I bedroom was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the free breakfast and parking.

I booked my reservation online through one of the booking websites. Paid upfront for 3 nights. I did so not knowing exactly what time I'd be there to check in. To make sure I didn't have to wait until 3:00 to check in if id arrived earlier, I went ahead and booked the entire additional day before just to keep my window without issue. .Well, Apparently, there's a policy, though I've yet to locate where either onsite or on their website, that says regardless of whether your reservation is paid in full, if you don't arrive to check in on the date of the initial reservation, checking in the following day will not be possible as they will only honor the reservation the day of. And forget about requesting a refund for not having stayed... Thess ass holes declined not to give me anything back without any pause for consideration. I'll never book with this particular establishment again.

I had a terrible room there was hair in the bathroom used tooth paste tube and the shower wasn’t draining the shower head was messed up by the ac unit the floor was black whoever cleans it only does it in a rush because the bathroom not pleasant or the far side of the bed There was a meldew/moldy smell Great responsive host

Marijuana smell , torn bed sheets bad customer service , they charge 100 deposit not mentioned on Expedia . Not family friendly environment by a long shot.

The hotel was ok, barely, definitely lower than my expectations, you can tell they’ve tried to keep the property maintained but are struggling. The price doesn’t really reflect the quality of the hotel, next time will be looking for a better option in the area.

Didn’t like the 100.00 damage deposit. Asked for a room with roll away bed or pull out couch- was given a room without. They did accommodate us by moving rooms. Room was really damp both days even though we ran the AC. Fan not working in bathroom. When I checked into this dirty hotel before I ever saw my room, there was a surprise hundred dollar deposit because I paid with credit card even though the hotel room was paid for in full before I arrived. There was a condom wrapper left in the trashcan. Blood or other type of material on the floor and walls.

We had a small couch in our room but we wanted to move to get more cool air since it was in the way. We found a dirty sock, a lid for a large drink and so much dirt. We also found 2 pairs of black socks under the cubby of the TV.

Will not stay again.

The people at front office was not friendly, was not very informative about the hotel While I was there I was outside early morning drinking coffee and a handy man I am assuming approached me and scared me and was trying to tell me there were scorpions,spiders and snakes around the property then kept talking like he was trying to flirt. I went told my husband.

False Advertising

The place wasn't close to what was advertised. It was in a very sketchy area and I did not feel safe walking around during the day. There was no on-site coffee shop and the attached restaurant was not in operation The hotel was actually a motel that was old and dingy. The rooms are much smaller than shown in the pictures. I took a look around and decided not to stay.

This place was dirty smelled very strong of air freshener as you opened the door trying to cover the bad smell of the bed coverings that were stained and smelled of body odor. The bathroom was musty smelling and the bathtub was stained and had hair in it. The area felt unsafe for women traveling alone I saw several people laying anround on the ground in the area of this establishment. The area around our room smelled strongly of illegal substance. The AC unit was separated from the wall you could see outside. We tried to get a refund and leave but the lady at the front desk refused to refund our money. I felt so unsafe I left anyway without a refund. Do not stay here the place is the worse I’ve ever seen or been to, the pictures online are deceiving. We were booked for 1 night for a dr visit nearby. This place needs a high fence with a secure gate to go through it’s definitely a crime area and needs attention and a deep cleaning. Stay far away from this run down motel.

Overall I guess it was okay, it’s giving very much Motel6 vibes which I somewhat expected.. what I wasn’t expecting was to pay a $100 deposit ( refundable) for a facility like this one which I’ve never had to do before. 3-5 business days if with card and immediately back the next day if with cash which doesn’t make sense to me because they can’t even check the room to see if they need to keep your deposit but whatever lol The kicker is that the room was disgusting, literally stuff on the walls, the sheets were not cleaned properly or just stained from previous uses that didn’t come off with washes, either way needs to be replaced. The shower was giving very much shower with sandals on ( which I did) or get some fungus. Over all experience was a 5/10, would not stay here again unless absolutely freaking necessary.

Night auditor was a liar

The night auditor told me I could check in early and I did. Then he called me to tell me I had to leave at 11 that morning that I did not have a reservation for the following g night. He told me he had moved my reservation to the previous night and that I would have to pay again to stay that evening. I felt like he took advantage of the situation knowing I would just agree because I didn’t want to mess with it. He was right.

The room did not smell good at all, very moldy. It did not look like the pictures on the website at all. The breakfast was very limited, small muffins, waffles, bread and yogurt, and two cereals. Will not book this hotel again

Needs to be cleaned

My bad

The hotel was amazing. My problem was there was a $100 refundable deposit or cards or $50 in cash. The room itself was less than the deposit for one night. If I would of known I was paying double I would of done a different hotel. Whoever was aboive us never went to sleep and had a dog who sounded like a giraffe running amuck.

I will never go back to that hotel again. It was a fake picture of everything in the internet. It sinks like dirt and smoke. Bathroom way too small can’t even use the bathroom with the door closed. Parking sucks . Never again

Staff were rude, inconsiderate. The hotel was very old and nasty nasty place. Would not recommend. Manager was extremely rude and cheated us out of $80.

I wanted to run the minute I arrived because as a woman alone I felt unsafe as there were many people hanging around outside. Also, the property was dirty and run down. Since it was late, I decided to stay one night and lock myself in the room. However, when I opened the door to my room there was a man in the bathroom shaving! I left immediately. Travelocity should not have this property on their site!

It was not terrible, but it wasn't good either. The neighboring residents were very loud. I get a sense that some of these residents are not regular hotel patrons but residents given government assistance to live here. I just warn that future hotel patrons that would stay at this hotel would not put up with the noise, fighting and general verbal and physical abuse of their child.

Old, musty smell like a damp basement. Toilet seat broken. It was fairly clean and close to SMU College.

Mixed review: very good things and very bad things

The sidewalks in front of the rooms were filthy. However, the coffee in the breakface area was delicious. Quite a few transient people and drug addicts at this hotel. But the location was great!

I am unfamiliar with the Dallas area but needed a place to stay for one night while visiting my daughters and this was the least expensive place I found in the area. There is a reason for that. The first room they had me in, the toilet didn't flush and the phone didn't work. The second one the mattress pad (yes, I was checking) was dirty with only the thinnest sheet I have ever seen separating me from it, and the phone didn't work. The third reeked of cigarette smoke and mattress pad was dirty. The fourth room I had to tolerate or leave and lose my money. There were what looked like homeless people wandering around the parking lot when I checked in. None of the rooms they had me in had working phones, which meant returning to check-in every time. I did not feel safe in what to the best of my ability to assess, is a relatively safe area of Dallas.

Phone in room broken. One lamp did not work. Small refrigerator froze my can of pepsi. Ice machine by office had no ice. Generally, from my experience with this chain, this motel did not live up to expectations.

Pros: room was clean, receptionist was nice and check-in was easy. Cons: ice machine wasn’t working, no elevator and $100 hold on card.

Decent

The property was okay for last minute reservation. Most drawers in the room were broken, the sink wouldn’t drain, and the air didn’t work well. I had reserved ahead of time but front desk didn’t seem to see it anywhere and I had to walk them through my confirmation email and room preferences. Breakfast was very sparse

Our family trip to the zoo was close proximity from this hotel was easy getting in and out on to main highway the service and cleanes of rooms was superb!

At least in the room we stayed in, it's time to replace the mattress and pillows. They are extremely worn. Sleeping was very uncomfortable.

We liked it. The security was out all night and doing his job. He is very nice and respectable. We cannot wait to get back. We also love the waffles for breakfast. Wish they had meat with it.

They didn't give us the type of room i booked through hotels.com. when we got to the room and realized it, they couldn't change it cause "server was down". Whoever was in the room next to us constantly woke us up, it sounded as if they were literally throwing furniture around at all hours. 2 crickets were in the corner of the room, didn't think much of it. Who cares about crickets. The real problem was the next norning as we were packing and getting ready to leave. I sat down in the computer chair to put on shoes on and a roach ran out in front of me as i bent forward. Had we seen one the night before we would've left immediately but we didn't see one till we were about to CHECK OUT. Will definitely be emptying out all my bags before I take them back inside my house and fumigating my car. Hopefully we didn't bring any little guys home with us.

Excellent hotel hospitality.

I enjoyed the clean, comfortable, and accessible bedroom. The hotel had an automatic connection with free wifi access. They also had hot and cold breakfasts. It was enjoyable with a nice seating area. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Room was good UNTIL.... They forgot yo turn on the WAFFLE IRONS for breakfast. We went in for breakfast at 0810, so DEF was NOT the first ones which wanted waffles.

they gave me a key for a room that it was not ready. I was not the only one while I was waiting at the lobby for my room 2 more people walked in with the same issue. The staff seem like they had no idea of what to do.

This is an older hotel that desperately needs room upgrades. It’s good for a quick overnight stay, more than that, I wouldn’t recommend. Not exactly family friendly since the area located around it is not the best, not awful, just not the best.

Not a good place to stay

Got a room the shower did not work and no shower curtain and there was lipstick all over the bathroom When I went to the front desk to ask for a room change the young lady working the desk was rude and wanted to argue with me . Tried to tell me I didn’t k ow how to turn a shower valve on. I would not recommend this motel to anyone
