Fantastic!

I have stayed in other 4* hotels in Saint Petersburg before but this knocks spots off them. There is nothing to fault at all, and I have only positive impressions of the trip. It is within easy walking distance of the main attractions yet is in a quiet location. A comfort plus taxi from the Admiraltiskaya metro costs less than 200 roubles. I arrived from Moscow on the Sapsan fast express, and from the railway station I took the metro direct only 2 stops. The metro costs about 60r each time you enter. I will definitely use this hotel as my preferred choice in future.

For me, the perfect kind of hotel. I’ve traveled for decades, stayed in countless hotels. The Pushka in is professional but intimate. The staff is genuinely welcoming. The food is delicious. The location couldn’t be better.

Beautiful hotel with excellent service

This is a great boutique style hotel located in a historic building. I stayed for only couple nights, but still was able to appreciate how nice this stay was. I booked bigger room with two beds as my local friend was going to stay for a night with me - the room type was a Comfort Plus. It was a spacious room, and I think the sofa can pull into additional bed too, so you will have three beds if you need. The room had everything one might need, and was very clean. The bathroom had a great shower with both rain and hand-held shower heads, and even had a heated floor - which was really nice for taking a shower! The bathroom was very well organized and had a lot of storage and hooks to put your stuff away. The location of the hotel is just perfect: five minutes to the Palace Square where the Hermitage Museum is located, and even closer to the main street of Nevskiy Prospect. The area is historic and charming, with lots of nice little cafes. The service was amazing. All the staff was very friendly, helpful and courteous. I needed to arrange transportation, and the hotel was very helpful with that - both in advance by e-mail and during the actual stay. I also needed to do a COVID test, and arranged for the courier from the lab to come and pick up the test at the hotel, so I don't have to waste any time going to the lab myself. The lab needed a Russian mobile phone number to contact me, which I didn't have. So the hotel provided their mobile phone number for me to give to the l

Amazing

Being a frequent traveler for business and leisure purposes, we’ve stayed at hundreds hotels and Pushka Inn impressed us a lot. Cosy, welcoming, clean, well trained staff, amazing breakfast - all in one small place. You can’t find a better place to spend your vacation in St.Petersburgh.

Fantastic location. Just around the corner from the Hermitage. My flight was delayed so I arrived after 2 a.m., but that was no problem as they had 24hour service and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The restaurant on the property is A+++++!!!! Outstanding! Try the beef stroganoff!!!! Quality decision. The front desk is amazing and their English perfect! The location is right next to the Hermitage Museum. GO THERE! Do NOT, under any circumstances, go to the souvenir shop across the canal that you can see from the hotel - it is extra over priced and when you get home you will see that they packaged the wrong things for you!

Fantastic stay. Very helpful staff. The location is wonderful - only a few hundred metres to the Hermitage.

Everyone who works at Pushka Inn is friendly and welcoming. They made my stay so special, including putting in a New Year Eve treat in my room! Thanks for the note, cookies, champagne, and adorable stuffed rat(year of the rat or for the Nutcracker!) This is a truly service oriented hotel!

Fantastic hotel! Staff are so friendly and helpful, hotel is in a great location and rooms are very clean and comfortable. Beds are so cosy!

I loved my single room. It was on the courtyard on the ground floor but totally private. The staff was amazing and helped me get a dress shortened for an event, and were also fun to talk to. They were open to my student son and his girlfriend talking for a long time in the little foyer. All together a great place to stay, steps and a short ride in a taxi to many attractions, amazing proximity to Palace Square and the Hermitage, lovely restaurant that is open late (fish is excellent), and nicely decorated, homey rooms. Will be my go to on all visits.

Fabulous stay

The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and spacious and the breakfast was great. Well recommended it is located in a prime position too.

GREAT hotel, especially for the price! Location is perfect for walking to the city square and Hermitage. Nearby shopping and restaurants as well. The rooms are spacious and nice. The staff was immediately helpful upon booking regarding room requests and upon arrival providing maps and answering questions. The restaurant next door was WONDERFUL- from the breakfast buffet to the dinner options. Would absolutely stay here again.

Very tastefully decorated and bathroom fab. Room is on small side but has everthing you need - hooks and plugs just were you need them!

Such a great hotel. It was recommended by friends and it did not disappoint. Located steps from the Hermitage. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in an apartment and it was clean and very comfortable. They provided whatever you could need - fully stocked bathroom and kitchenette, a USB strip to charge your electronics. Also loved dinner at Janno, their restaurant. Will definitely return.

It was a very nice small hotel with an outstanding service. Staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms and hallways were pleasantly decorated and very clean.

It is located close to many of the places we wanted to see. The room was comfortable and a good size. The bathroom was also a good size. It was quiet. We originally were not going to eat breakfast in the hotel but we did because of the convenience.

The location was ideal since it was so close to Hermitage, every single staff member was extremely helpful and polite and everybody was speaking good English. The room was lovely and very clean. I was 100% satisfied with my stay to the hotel and I would recommend it to my friends too

The hotel is on a lovely street right on the Niva river canal. Our room looked down on the canal and we very much enjoyed watching people casually walk by. Great location 2 blocks away from the Hermitage! Restaurants and shops steps away! Great customer service and comfortable room and bed. It was exactly what we were hoping for on our first visit to St Petersburg.

excellent location, close to main attractions. staff very cooperative

This historic building is in the perfect location, minutes away from the museums, restaurants and shops. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, they even surprised me with few gifts for my birthday! The room was spacious and clean, beds were comfortable and it had nice details. It would be nice if the restaurant for breakfast could be reached directly from the hotel, instead of going outside.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was clean and spacious enough. The location could not have been better. The only drawback was the lack of breakfast served at the hotel to be included in the price of the room.

Every comfort you could wish for. Staff excellent and very helpful. Breakfast to set you up for the day. You couldn't have a better position, round the corner from the Hermitage.

Almost Perfect!

Absolutely wonderful service by a fantastic English speaking staff to compliment the cutest little boutique hotel situated literally steps away from The Hermitage Museum. The only things keeping it from a 5 star rating was a weak and inconsistent internet signal in our room and a sub par breakfast for the price we paid. Having said that, I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for the perfect hotel to base out of while exploring St Petersburg. We will be returning again!

A very good place to stay in St Petersburg. Very good.

Stayed 3 nights, the overall impression is pretty average, no facilities, just a room and free Wi-Fi. The room wasn’t cleaned till asked. Breakfast has to be paid separately, it was also very standard and overpriced, with no childrens’ discount. The single bed was very narrow, just about to fit an average size person. I would not book it again and would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends.

Amazing location- 5 minutes from the Hermitage and next door to the Pushkin museum. Beautiful old stone steps inside, with a tiny elevator. Rooms beautifully decorated and comfortable. Our receptionist helped us book opera tickets on our arrival and on our last night we walked to the nearby opera. The hotel has a good restautant and another is just steps away. A good value. This hotel was perfect for us.

Central hotel, close to Hermitage.

Friendly staff (compared to the unfriendly, surly, unsmiling service we received everywhere else), quaint and quiet, lots of places of interest all within walking distance. Would recommend to anyone visiting St Petersburg.

Pushka Inn was great with communication from booking to check in/check out. We were greeted at the door by a bellman, assisted with our luggage. Front of house was courteous and assisted us with all of our needs, from suggesting restaurants to ordering a taxi to take us to our ship. Our room was spacious and comfortable - we loved overlooking the canal. One note - if you are sensitive to noise (we are not) keep your windows closed - the canal tours run until about 1am and begin early at 7am. The hotel restaurant was excellent for the included breakfast - and also for dinner. We loved our stay!

Would choose this boutique hotel above all other hotels in St Petersburg. English speaking, accommodated our request for 2 separate beds, assisted with ballet tickets, no problem checking in close to midnight. Right in the center of everything - 10 minute walk to the Hermitage, excellent restaurants close by. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Hotel in a Great Location

If I could rate the hotel staff higher than a "5", I certainly would. I give them a 10! Everyone of them was smiling, happy and very personable. All spoke excellent English. They were extremely accommodating in all aspects! Helped us with our excursions, restaurant choices and even arranged for a boxed breakfast on our last morning, as we were leaving at 3am for airport. Wha a GREAT staff!

The best place to stay in St Petersburg

The hotel staff were incredibly helpful - nothing was ever any trouble for them - and they often went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable.

Very nice hotel and super well located. The rooms are spacious and very clean. My only suggestion is that the bathrooms are small.

Very good hotel with excellent location, walkable distance to sightseeing, staff were not only friendly and good looking (boys and girls) but also they were very helpful and knowledgable. My room was very clean and nice bed and bed linen. Delicious home made cake and pies for breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting St Petersburg. Stayed there for four nights during the World Cup and had a lovely memorable time Paulo 25 June 2018

Four days is not enough.

This is a wonderful small hotel with a very nice restaurant. The staff in the hotel and restaurant were knowledgeable service was great. Julia at the front desk and her associates are a wealth of knowledge and anxious to help. The location is superb.

Central location, right near the Fifa fan fest, great food from the restaurant, staff are amazing and room was prefect for us.

The location is perfect. The staff is helpful, honest and patient. The restaurant is quite good. I encourage you to include breakfast with your room. It is well worth it. The staff warned us not to drink the water, then supplied us with all the clean water we could possible drink. Very convenient! When I checked out, I asked to pay as much as possible in Rubles so I would not need to exchange currency. I had a ziplock full of rubles - not very organized. I paid up then went back up to my room to get bags. When I returned, the lady at the desk gave me a 500 ruble bill that had dropped on the floor and she thought it might belong to me. What a treat! I suspect the rooms are not all alike. Ours had a wonderful skylight which we enjoyed immensely. It can be covered at night. Overall it is a great place to stay!

Small but attuned to comfort with great staff

We loved St. Petersburg, and Pushka made it better. The staff is just outstanding, and it’s a great area, fairly quiet but right by Hermitage Museum. Hotel is very comfortable with heated bathroom floor.

Very nice hotel with superb location. Staff is always available and engaging. Rooms are well appointed with all the amenities needed and we really liked the high ceilings, it gave the room a feeling of spaciousness and old world charm. If you want to stay in City Center on a canal? You really can't beat the Pushka Inn.

Super excellent check-in, Yulia and Catherine provided great information and introduction for my stay in St. Petersburg including suggestion to attend fantastic concert at Palace Square that evening, where to change ccurrency, etc. All staff throughout visit were friendly and helpful, answering any questions throughout visit.

Everything in this hotel is beyond of good . Staff are intelligent and ready to help all day and night “. Room extremely clean . Location could not be better, close to everything but very quiet. Great location. All main attractions were within walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was nice, clean and cosy. The restaurant next door serves really good food. Highly recommend !

Lovely location.

It's a lovely location, very near to the Hermitage and an easy walk to all the central sights. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Vasily. The room was slightly smaller than we expected it to be from the pictures, but we were only there for two nights so it didn't matter a great deal. It also felt strange being on the ground floor, and we were nervous about leaving the window open during the night for security reasons.

The hotel was perfect: spotless, comfortable, and charming. The staff is friendly, efficient, and helpful. The restaurant next door is excellent, too.

A gem of a hotel and restaurant in a great locatio

This hotel was recommended by a friend and it didn't disappoint. Right on the river and within easy walking distance to The Hermitage, it's a cozy little hotel with an outstanding staff. Very charming with comfortable rooms. Right next door is the hotel's restaurant. What a wonderful little restaurant. Every table had a vase with freshly cut tulips. Probably the best service I've experienced anywhere in my travels round the world. Every dish that my friends and I ordered was outstanding. I would recommend the stroganoff in particular. On my final morning in St. Petersburg I had an early flight out so the restaurant wasn't open yet. Upon checking out, the staff presented me with a takeaway breakfast bag that contained a wonderful assortment of items that had been individually gift wrapped. What a thoughtful gesture. Needless to say, I highly recommend the Pushka Inn and would definitely stay there again.

Great location

What a find! Very homely hotel 3 minutes walk to the Hermitage. Friendly and helpful staff. Great restaurants nearby. Good size 2 bedroom suite, room a nice temperature not hot and stuffy like so many other hotels in a european winter. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location, close to the sights

Stayed for 4 nights in late February and really enjoyed our time in the hotel. The location is excellent, close to a lot of the sights, shopping and restaurants. Room was comfortable and the hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly. It was my husbands birthday on the last day of our stay and the manager presented him with a card and a bottle of bubbly, we really appreciated the gesture.

Lovely hotel in central location

Staff were fantastic and very helpful Beautiful building and very clean but you do have to get over a smell of drains - fine if you don’t mind opening the window for some fresh air at -9 degrees! Restaurant is next door so you have to go outside - we didn’t bother with breakfast as cheaper elsewhere but the one meal we had was good

Brilliant hotel great location...

This is a really excellent hotel. Nothing is too much trouble (even organised taxis in Moscow for us), the staff are friendly, very professional and speak good English. Breakfast is exceptional (we travel a lot), the location almost perfect next to the canal. 50 paces from the Hermitage and main Square. Cant fault it, quite simply excellent.

Perfect Pushkin!

I can't recommend Pushkin Inn enough. Staff were friendly and helpful, cleanest hotel room I think I've ever stayed in and you can't beat the location! You can walk to The Hermitage in less than 5 minutes. If you want a comfortable, clean and central stay then I can't recommend this place enough!!

Close to everything important in SPb

Real history building is absolutely exciting!!! Nice staff. Comfortable bathroom. Theatre, museum, restorant, beautiful streets are close as it possible!

Great hotel

The best choice if you stay in Saint p for like couple of days or so. Walking distance to everything major like Winter Palace or cathedrals. Feels very cozy and sfaff was very nice and helpful. Take a room with the view it’s worth it!

Stay here!

Very friendly reception staff. Room was beautifully furnished, comfortable, clean, nice toiletries, Wi-Fi very good. Hotel in excellent location.

Fantastic hotel with

Lovely hotel in a great location central to all main sights of St Petersburg. Rooms pleasant and clean. Staff were absolutely wonderful. Friendly and provided excellent advise re restaurants etc. When BA decided to cancel out flight at 6am on the morning the desk staff (manned 24 hours a day) saved the situation. They spent 2 hours helping in every way and ended up booking us on a different airline using a Russian website. Would give higher marks if possible. Highly recommended in every way

Staff are immensely helpful

First visit. We had great recommendations for dinner in town and they were all excellent, tables booked by the very helpful staff. We had flight problems and the staff were first rate in seeing that we were supported and sorted before leaving. Cannot recommend them highly enough....

Short break

This is superb hotel in a fantastic location. The staff were so helpful and cheerful. Breakfast was typical European with a few Russian twists. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay for any length of time.

Perfect Pushka!

Wonderful stay at the Pushka! The entire staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. We would LOVE to return here as often as possible! We highly recommend this hotel. It is so conveniently located to everything it is amazing.

They waited up for me!

I was arriving in St Petersburg alone at midnight by train. I was a little nervous about finding the hotel and wondering if the front desk would even be staffed that late. There were two smiling faces when I got there waiting for my arrival. This is a lovely hotel with a perfect location.
