Great central location
Great central location at a reasonable rate for a nice night out in town with friends. Had everything I needed for an over night stay.
Really enjoyed my stay
Great location central Aberdeen
Good comfortable hotel in a Central location.
Will never be staying again after the way i was treated by the night staff
Perfect for after a night out
Great hotel and spacious rooms
Ok for a night
A nice hotel with friendly staff. Chdck in was quick and easy and I was given a room on the top floor with a view over the city. The room was ok. Clean and has everything you need. Shower was hot and everything else in the bathroom was fine. Major annoyance was tge king size bed. 2 mattresses zipped together which leaves a huge uncomfortable lump. And for such a big bed, only 2 rather flat pillows were left. All in all, it was an ok stay but the bed really did not make it a great nights sleep.
Good spot for city centre stays
Prompt efficient checkin by polite chap even during a busy time.
this hotel was amazing!! i dropped off balloons for my room to be decorated for my boyfriends birthday and they did not disappoint - they even added some of their own decorations to make the room that little bit nicer! breakfast was also very good! will definitely be staying again - excellent!!
Do not stay
The shower had a big split in the hose and no hot water from the tap
The hotel was in a great location, quiet but close to city center. Room was very clean and we felt safe. Staff all very friendly. Receptionist was extremely helpful and got us a taxi at very short notice as we were running late! Bar area spacious and great to relax in, bar tenders lovely. Definitely recommend.
Perfect, close to shopping center.
I was visiting my girlfriend in Aberdeen and I really enjoyed my stay this hotel. I liked the fact I could control the temperature of my room to suit me. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty plug points for my laptop and phone charger etc. The room and bathroom was very clean and the shower was excellent!! The hotel was only 10 mins walk from the centre of town so I wasn’t far away from the shops. The staff were extremely friendly and only to happy to chat and help with any questions I had I had a very pleasant and settled nights sleep!! The windows are really good at eliminating any outside noise!! So I didn’t feel like I was near the city centre. The breakfast in the morning is a self service with a fantastic selection of things on offer. You were also able to have certain items cooked to order if you wanted. But the food was excellent and kept me going all day. Had no desire for lunch that day as breakfast was really good!! I loved the fact the hotel wasn’t busy and I could sit wherever I wanted so I got a nice window seat and enjoyed my breakfast. It was nice to have a 12pm check out time so I was able to go and have my breakfast and then relax in my room a little before packing up to leave. I felt my stay at the hotel was over before I knew it!! So I will definitely come back very soon!! But I’ll be staying for 2 nights. With my breakfast included!!
Comfortable room, ideally located for city centre and public transport around the city and to other nearby destinations.
A super property, perfect location and immaculate. First class.
Check in was quick, room clean and warm, could do with a better menu not much of a choice especially if you were staying for a few days, lack of parking a negative.
Great all round stay
Clean and professional Great friendly staff Great location Great value for money
Excellent hotel great location
Comfortable 3 night stay
I stayed for 3 nights for work. The room was spacious and clean and had a good view (it was on the 6th floor). It quiet every night so I managed to sleep well. I ate in the hotel bar 2 nights and service was good.
Need to do better
Air-conditioning was poor and the pillows were terrible. there was also a badly repaired patch on the bedroom wall about the size of a football which for a modern relatively good hotel is not a good look
Very nicely situated off union street, easily accessible for the area. Only 1 pillow which is a bit tight but nice room and quite friendly staff
Good value and location
Good location, good check in/out times. Room little bit hot!
Great location- good price
Great location & good value overall . Nice & helpful staff . Rooms are fine if a little dated perhaps in done aspects
Hotel needing a bit of money spent on it as rooms looking tired downstairs in better shape but overall hotel needs some money spent on it
Great service and hotel
Great stay comfortable hotel great service
Centrally located in Aberdeen city, off Union St.
Some mechanical drone noise made it impossible to get undisturbed sleep
Park inn - great
Create quick check in, enjoyed the little extras in the room though had my name wrong (no issue there 😂). Only thing I felt was not great was the shower, poor power, potentially faulty with a leak causing the low pressure. Again no big deal but worth mentioning.
The room was a disability room, the bathroom had the odor of a hospital. The sink adapted would have been ideal for somebody in a wheelchair but not for somebody standing up to brush their teeth. I went to the bar once and stood for fifteen minutes where i wasnt acknowledged by the check-in desk or person taking orders at the tables next to the bar.
Had to queue to check in, the receptionist appeared to be asking for help as there were 4 parties waiting, however it took the other staff member a while before she came out of the office to help. The room had a build up of dust between the bed and bedside cabinet, the shower had mould on the sealant, coat hanger was broken as was the bar to hang the coat hanger. Have had much better rooms in other Aberdeen hotels for the same price. Sorry but won't be back.
When I booked a stay at park inn by Radisson in Aberdeen, I expected a high level of standard considering the brand. Honestly, it was a bit of a let down, as the hotel is dated, has stained chairs in the lobby ( chairs with lime/orange cloth with brown stains). When I checked into my room, the bathroom was not very clean with hairs on the floor and a smell of urine. Upon closer inspection, the toilet seat had obviously not been cleaned and there was urine splash on the side and on the floor from the previous guest. We also had empty body wash bottle in the bathroom, and requested a replacement from housekeeping and we were given attitude and told to drain the contents and the bottle was put in my face to check that there was a little left and to manage it until the next day. We only had one towel and requested another from the same house keeper who was shouting and repeating it’s in the drawer, check! (You would think we knew what she was referring to) Cleanliness in a hotel is the very minimum, and unfortunately Radisson failed to deliver. Please do better, in order to maintain your brand image and give your guests the best experience!
Great location
Very good Clean place very friendly staff Ideallh postioned
Great Stay
Staff was friendly, food was good, I’d stay again.
A perfectly reasonable hotel in centre of Aberdeen. Also super convenient as I was working in offices next door. Staff are friendly and efficient. Could do with some decent pillows - two very un-fluffy pillows really not very comfortable. Also the breakfast experience was not great due to vast numbers of coach parties staying in the hotel and taking the majority of the restaurant seating and blocking the food gathering area. But I'd stay here again if working close by.
Aberdeen stay
Receptionist was very welcoming and changed our room to a double when we arrived. However the breakfast was very disappointing particularly the hot buffet
Very noisy hotel property with bar opposite which plays loud music until the early hours. Room didn't have pillows and the ones I had sent were very thin and uncomfortable.
Everything was excellent at the hotel apart from the area where people can smoke right outside the entrance to the hotel where a cigarette extinguisher has been put for cigarette butts to go. You can smell cigarettes through the automatic door and into the hotel which isn't pleasant. Again, it hits you when you leave the hotel entrance.
Room had a very strong perfumed smell from the cleaners, not good for people with allergies. I was put in a room that I think was meant for someone else to check in as there was a welcome note and plate of desserts for them but they looked quite old. The AC was strong and worked nicely. There was a bunch of yelling outside the hotel at night. It was ok/average but I wouldn’t stay here again.
Really Good Hotel. Good location
Just really outdated, but the price reflects such
Check in was very slow - 20 minites wait Room A/C was showing maintenance require symbol and vould not be adjusted so switched it off Not my favourite hotel
Enjoyable Sunday
Hi really enjoyed my experience at the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, sat in the sun in the central courtyard, great space .managed to park in the loading bay thinking it was the car park ,duty manager very understanding .recomend the hotel highly central base for a great city Michael Whitehouse
Great location and clean rooms Nice and quiet
Hardly got a wink of sleep for the noise from the people leaving the pubs and clubs
Mattress too firm, aircon noisy, room slightly tatty - not terrible but a little disappointing
Good price for city centre accommodation.
Clean, warm, well maintained, polite friendly staff and reasonable prices with parking in an indoor car park under the hotel (only £13 for 24hrs). Good price for city centre accommodation.
Good
The hotel is clean and comfortable. It's just away from the train station, so it's a little hard to walk with my luggage, and I can hear the noise from the nearby pub at night. Breakfast is not bad enough.
Very nice hotel. Right in the city centre.Nice rooms, decent size with modern bathrooms.
Comfy, clean, fresh breakfast and great staff
Very friendly staff, clean and comfy rooms. Exactly what you would expect for a hotel of the chain. I've been to many hotels in town and by far this is the best in the downtown area.
Happy
Comfortable and great breakfast
Good stay
Good business type hotel in a quiet part of the city. Nice standard breakfast. But book it before you arrive as then they put the price up.
Comfortable, clean and quiet rooms
Great staff. Room very comfortable and clean. I have asked for extra toiletries which was kindly handed by the team
All good a nice stay conveniently location in city
All good friendly staff , room good condition , excellent shower. Parking next door can access from hotel when leaving) key.
Lovely stay
We were greeted by friendly receptionist, room was perfect, with everything that you needed, hair dryer, ironing board and iron, complimentary bottles of water, plenty of tea, coffee and a hot chocolate sachet. Late check out at noon is a bonus.
Great Value for money
Room very comfortable, breakfast well worth the £11 charge. Hotel room very good price
While staff is friendly, they seem severely under staffed- no service apart from What they can do from behind the reception desk. Toilet flush was not working & didn’t get fixed in spite of request. Location is a huge plus
Great staff, great location, great stay
Overall great hotel
Nice hotel with good customer service. Good location.
Average stay
I have stayed in the Park Inn lots over the last year or so but this last stay was somewhat disappointing. I was placed in an accessible room which I can only assume was because the hotel was full but I didn't request a change to be fair as it was late and I was tired. Some of the issues were related to the room type but I don't think it is fair to judge on that (although as quite a tall person a sink that I have to stoop to use was not good for my back) however some of the other issues were more about standards. For example the pillows were lumpy and of poor quality, as was the mattress which made it difficult to get comfortable enough to sleep. Also the shower curtains were quite musty smelling which infiltrated throughout the bathroom. Not quite sure what happened either but early morning there was a call to my room phone that rung once and woke me up and then went silent. All in all was a very average stay and I would say I am thinking of staying elsewhere for my trips going forward.
Hotel was ok, bed was like a mountain range though very uncomfortable.
Very convenient for walking into the city, railway station and restaurants. But the pillows on the beds very lumpy and hard.
My bed had a hole and was a lot of street drunk people trying to get in to the hotel and i didn’t witness any security guards to prevent the issue
Aberdeen stay
Hotel staff were friendly and helpful and it was clean. Breakfast was ok - typical hotel breakfast. I did however find the single beds in the room on the small single size and really uncomfortable - didn't have a good nights sleep on either of the nights.
This is a classic space where they want to spy on everyone. Internet is not secure. Different people from all walks of life come here to rest. The hotel wants to spy on everyone and cannot provide secure internet connection. I won't stay in their espionage hole ever again! Simply DISGUSTED.
superior Panoramic rooms not worth the money
When you book a panoramic view room you expect a panoramic view not just the direction your window is facing, very misleading. Also a superior room which is pretty much the same as any other room with a coffee machine added. still had to ask reception to bring a heater as room heating did not work. With a modern hotel there is no ability to use Netflix or prime on the TV and log into your account, The tvs have ability to cat on to them but facility does not work.... basic hotel that could do much more if they focused on the features
lovey stay l friendly staff
The room was a bit dated, scuff marks on the walls. Pillows and mattress seemed very very old, the queen bed I had 2 twin mattresses joined and as you can imagine, the center of the bed was uncomfortable to lie down. The frame of the mattress was protruding out making it difficult to get proper rest.
-
The property was clean and well maintained. Staff were very helpful and kind.
Good value for money in a good city centre location
Fantastic Customer Service
I have been staying at this hotel on a relatively regular basis for work and the best thing about it is their staff. I had an issue on a previous stay and Jodie went above and beyond to resolve it for me which was greatly appreciated and she even remembered me at the next stay. Really good example of top quality customer service. Also in general the staff that I have interacted with have always been very welcoming and friendly even when checking in late at night. I do also like the little touches like having bottle water in the rooms too. My only suggestion would be to improve the pillows in some of the rooms as some of them have seen better days.
Very well kept property. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
N/a
We found the rooms on the small side, the beds were a bit firmer then we’re used to but survivable. Being January we expected the rooms to be at least comfortably warm, the temperature control panel showed 22 degrees C which we set ours at home as but it felt more like 19c I changed the setting to it’s max 24c but absolutely nothing happened we’re from Canada and can handle cool temperatures but we found this really cold. We travelled with 2 other couples and talked to others staying in the hotel and well and everyone said their rooms were very cold. Requesting portable heaters is the only thing you can do as they Apparently won’t recalibrate the gages to heat at temperatures above 19c Everything else was fine but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel in the winter months, we feel sorry for staff who have work in these very cold conditions on a daily basis.
Good location but uncomfortable bed
Nice hotel good location close to everything you need. Check-in very slow.. Bedroom ok however bed very uncomfortable, slept very badly due to hard mattress that really need replacement.
Overall good, could use some updating in rooms especially regarding TVs and sockets near bed. But very quiet and nice staff
Stay for Bay City Rollers
Very comfortable two night stay, staff were friendly and competent
A good stay
Just a one stop over. Good hotel. Does what it says on the tin.
Good location with easy parking
Great hotel in a great location. Will definitely return.
A good location and served the purpose very well.
Friendly staff and good value for money
Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Room a bit warm. No USB ports in my room. Good location and good value for money.
Nice place
We were welcomed to the Park inn Aberdeen, where we had a comfortable night & an excellent breakfast. Our only concern was a generator was left running in the next building from 6am.
Bed was a bit lumpy, could feel the springs, apart from that great stay
Just whats needed
Nice location, clean hotel , friendly staff
First class service . The welcome at the breakfast desk was very good and professional
Stayed many times.
Stayed many times.
Proximity to town centre
I was fooled by expedia and Radisson , i paid for 5 days , stay was for 4 days.. NO BILL for extra one day.
Got double rooms when TWINs were reserved
We had requested TWIN rooms as we were a group of 8 guys. When we arrived at the hotel the rooms that we were given were double rooms, even although we had clearly stated that we required TWIN rooms. The hotel did eventually sort this but this should never have happened when it was made so clear that we were a group of 8 men..
Always a great hotel to dtay in,clean, friendly staff, rooms are amazing, massive bed and comfortable
Decent enough place, convenient for shops of Union Street and dining options. There is a Wetherspoons over the street for a cheaper breakfast.
Nice central hotel
Nice central hotel, close to all town centre amenities. NCP car park next door. Friendly staff at check in. Clean with nice decor. Room small but adequate. Bed felt quite hard and lumpy so didn't sleep well. Good powerful shower with plenty of hot water.
I've stayed here before and had no issues the last time. On this occasion, though, the staff at checking had zero personality and weren't welcoming at all. The bed had 2 mattresses pushed together which were at different heights, and one of them had busted springs effectively giving it a hole in the centre. This led to a terrible, sleepless night. I remained a complaint. It's been a week and no response. The saving grace was the server at breakfast who, despite English not being her first language, put up with ignorant guests and still gave us a smile and excellent service while people were being rude to her.
Bottles of water in room
all good
Improvement points
Elevators were not working most of my stay there. Restaurant was being renovated so we were offered food vouchers from nearby restaurants. Poor internet speed provided in the rooms. Very few TV channels to watch. No toilet brush provided in room bathroom even after I asked for one to be provided for my extended stay at the Hotel.
Seriously uncomfortable bed
Hotel room felt tired. Bed looked really lumpy but it was the duvet however the springs of the bed could be felt running hand over had to get a duvet to put under to lie in but still really horrible night. Breakfast good choice but staff never spoke or smiled. Scrambled eggs rubbery and had turned black from sitting. Not sure we will be back.
Everything you need for a short stay
Two nights out with friends made it worthwhile to stay in town. Great central location and met every need for a comfy and convenient bed for the night.
