The beds and pillows need replacing, the bathroom was not totally clean, lime green walls keep you awake at night lol. Not worth $200 a night for two people.

Clean and quiet

One minute off the main road, so it was quiet and convenient. Very friendly reception by host. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Great shower, too.

Very clean. The owners are very accommodating. The only negatives would be the fact that all three pillows were way too high for me, and I could feel the dampness in the room.

Comfortable stay

Very clean, comfortable beds and friendly staff. Definately stay again next year when we go ice fishing Callander Bay.

Our stay was lovely, the room was very clean and the beds were VERY comfortable. Staff was very nice and attentive to our needs. Would definitely stay there again.

Annual Trip To The Far North

This motel far surpassed our expectations. The room was very clean, bed so comfortable as were the pillows. We wanted to be as close as possible to Callandar as we did not need the downtown area of North Bay. To all you gamblers it was very close. The person who checked us in was very pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again. The shower was great, did not want to get out it was so soothing.

The manager Dan was very friendly and check in was quick and easy. Well maintained property and quiet area.

The rooms were very clean and the owners were helpful and friendly. There was a fridge and microwave in each room.

This was our second time staying and once again, didn't disappoint! After a long day of driving I was warmly greeted by the motel host and quickly checked in. The room was extremely clean, with all amenities. The beds were nice and cozy. The location is easily accessible from Hwy 11 and there are lots of services just down the road. We will be regulars for sure!

Good but needs a few touches

Stayed 1 nite clean and quiet ,room was fine had 2 comfortable chairs wnich was appreciated. Could use a few improvments in the bathroom ie grab bar to exit tub toilet almost on the floor and the tissue roller relocated hairdryer sounded like a coffee grinder and went up in smoke a minit later.bed .Bed was ok

Best Of Both Worlds In More Ways Than One

Beautiful rooms, owner was a delight to deal with, spectacular view out either window, and if you happen to be a runner, there are some beautiful routes you can go with a little creativity. Close to the highway, which made it close to get to all my favourite North Bay restaurants. Surprisingly chic decor manages to compliment and not conflict with an overall quaint and cozy vibe. Only gripe is that the room smelled a bit old, not unpleasant, but it could be confused for mildew (I know it wasn't mildew because both my wife and I are allergic and we both woke up feeling and breathing fine). Overall I would 100% recommend. We visit the area once a month and will absolutely be back.

The owners are so friendly and happy to assist, especially when I called to say we wouldn't be checking in until VERY late! This was our third time staying here, because the rooms are clean and neat, and there is everything we need. It is on the outskirts of town so having morning coffee at the picnic table was so peaceful. I highly recommend this motel!

Nice place good service

Because of covid-19 they didn't clean the beds and room or bathroom. I had to ask for clean towels.

The owner was extremely kind in contacting us when we were running late to make sure we knew how to get to the Inn. Rooms were newly renovated; and most importantly, they were thoroughly clean! 10 mins away from the beach and neighbour was quiet and safe (public school a few mins away). Would definitely stay again!

Shaddy website, lied about a refund and location.

Well i was travelling home very late and needed a hotel. Long story short. I used hotels.com. The hotel i booked said west Nipissing. Turns out it was in Calander 1 hour away from the townbi was in and 10 minutes south of north bay. I realized with my confirmation the hotel was a long way away. The site says cancel anytime before you check in. I tried click the cancel button and got a message saying if i canceled i would be charged the full amount. Not 5 minutes later. By the time i arrived it was late. The owners were nice but the room had not had the heat turned on prior to my arrival. Once inside there was no information about the wifi so no wifi. The site also said book now only 1 room left. When I arrived i was the only person at the hotel. I stayed 5hours to sleep and left. Shortly after i deleted hotels.com

Newly renovated motel with nice amenities. Very comfortable matresses. Pleasant helpful staff. Quiet location with many restaurants nearby. Shower needs bath mat and/or handle to get in and of as they are slippery when wet. We would definately stay there again.

Ten suggestions!!

The Nipissing Inn was not too bad. The location was nice & quiet. Check-in was very good. From someone who travels & also deals with people who travel there are a few things that I would suggest to improve your business. 1. Change the colours of the rooms...if they are all bright orange & green! Those are not colours to suggest relaxation & rest. 2. Change the old a/c units at the back. Ours was so noisy we had to turn it off in order to sleep. 3. Purchase all matching outdoor chairs. You would be surprised at the cosmetic improvement & they are quite economical! 4 Have tubs of flowers beside each room. Automatically improves everyone's state of mind. 5. Purchase some new towels. Ours were VERY worn & thin & had some holes in them. Also double up on the towels...2 for each person. 6. 2 extra pillows on the beds. 7. The kitchenettes could use a few more dishes. We only had one big plate, one glass for both of us. 8. I would invest in proper dish soap. Watered down hand soap is not advisable from a (Public Health perspective) for washing hands or washing dishes! 9. Ask your cleaning staff to wipe down the blinds on the windows. 10. Our room was not cleaned on the morning of August 18th. We did leave the room around noon, did leave the sign out. We returned at 8:00 pm. No one had been in the room. Thank goodness we are very tidy & clean people. But you might have had some who would have complained. Just some small suggestions that would make a big difference

Great little motel

Great little motel to stay at. Was a last minute trip to North Bay and all the big name hotels where booked so decided to try this place, it was clean and nice.

The check in was fast and the owner was lovely, gave me lots of recommendations on places to eat. The room was fresh, the bed was very comfortable and the sheets and towels were very clean. The location was great, it was quiet but still close driving distance to restaurants. I would pick this hotel again over any chain hotel.

Very quiet and bed had a great mattress if you are looking for a good night's sleep. Not far from town. Clean and comfortable.

Although this is an older building the unit that i was in appears to have been recently completely renovated. It was vert quiet and extremely clean. Amenities included TY, WIFI,bar fridgw, microwave oven, iron, ironing board, coffe maker for two cups of coffee, hair dryer and toiletries. Overall, i was pleasantly surprized with the quality of this accomodation. It was perfect for a one night sleepover. Price was in line with this style of motel with cleanliness and amenities that you would find at a better known chain of hotels. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Quiet, friendly and fully equipped motel rooms with lots of room for people and luggage. Stayed twice and will continue to stay there on upcoming trips.

Better than any Chain Hotels

Our stay at the Nipissing Inn was exceptional. The front lobby was spotless, and the desk manager was very nice. Our room was also spotless and very quiet. The beds were very comfortable. I would chose the Nipissing Inn over any chain hotels. Book you stay with them and you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended.

Perfect for our needs

We have stayed at the nipissing Inn twice now and we will continue to stay there because it is comfortable, very clean and the beds are comfortable.

For the Price, One Night's Sleep, Can't Go Wrong

Just needed a stop-over driving up highway 11. Arrived around 10pm and there was somebody there to check us in. Was offered advice on where to grab a coffee and breakfast next morning without needing to ask. Rooms recently renovated, clean, good night's sleep. About all I need from a motel. Will use again.

Nice clean motel

No surprises. The motel was convenient to Hwy 11 and fairly close to downtown North Bay. It was clean and comfortable and looked exactly like the on line photos.
