Stayed here a few times, i find it more convenient and rooms better than marriott and pullman which are more than dpuble tbe price. Staff are excellent and superior suites are great. Good prices and a bar/shop round corner too. They advertise pool , not great but a different space...was working so didnt bother me.

This is a great option for those who need to stay near the Guarulhos airport. Quick checkin, very nice large room. Breakfast is divine; other meals are expensive but very nice. Inexpensive transport back to the airport - it's free from the airport to the hotel.

This hotel to me was very functional. Close to the airport, had everything I needed. The room-service food was very good, and I could swim laps in the pool. It's not the most luxurious place, but great value for money.

Close to airport. Best hotel in the area. Affordable prices. Staff is very helpful all the time. I always stay there if I have an early departure or late arrival. Do not expect luxury or super new furniture but hotel is clean with good basic services (pool, small fitness center and a restaurant). Recommended

Stayed for one night before a flight out of GRU the next day. The hotel rooms are very spacious and will appointed. It was like a small 1 bedroom apartment with a kitchenette, separate sitting room and separate bedroom. The bed was nice and comfortable and the room had great views to the city. The shower was nice and powerful and all areas were clean. The buffet breakfast was ok. Mainly cold items with toast. The dinner buffet was not worth paying for so we went to a restaurant next to the hotel which was very good value for money. The airport shuttle was reasonable priced and took about 30mins to the airport in heavy traffic. The area is nothing special but for an airport stay it was fine. Would definitely stay again if I needed a place near the airport.

The hotel is in a very run down area. It is definitely a business hotel, okay for a one night stay. The restaurant and room service is atrocious ! They didn’t understand a word of English, even so, the food was horrible. The lunch buffet had bugs flying into the food and breakfast was cheap cold meats and some cheese with breads. Nothing for vegans and only limited fruit for vegetarians. The cleaning of our unit was rushed, evidenced by hair in the bathroom and dusty, smelly kitchen cupboards. As a couple we were hiven a twin room. But the beds were comfortable and sheets were clean. English is a big problem in this hotel, even with the tv.

Good hotel for GRU stopover with nice gym and pool

Brief stay whilst on route to Florianopolis from New York. Transport from the airport is once an hour on the hour - timings not available unless you call the hotel. There is also a charge to get back to the airport. Rooms are all suites with separate lounge / kitchen area, bathroom and bedroom. Nice gym on 22nd floor - only has 2 treadmills but open air and nice views over local area. Pool was cold and again in warmer weather would be great - no towels available so had to call down. Not much around hotel to sightsea but convenient for airport stopovers

Friendly & accommodating staff

Very spacious, 24 hour room service, convenient and cheap shuttle service and hotel staff offered late check-out without me even asking after overhearing that my flight out didn't leave until evening. This allowed me to sleep in, take a swim in the rooftop pool (with a great view of the city) and take my time getting ready for my international flight. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Great Airport Hotel

Stayed at the Mercure as an overnight stop before flying out from Sao Paulo. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent if a little pricey. English speaking staff at reception were very helpful. I recommend using a taxi to get from the airport to the hotel which cost around 50 Reis, and the shuttle to return.

I stayed several times in this hotel because the rate is good and the size of the room is nice. The rooms are comfortable although the furniture is very basic. The mayor problem is that there is no air-conditioning in the living room only in the bed room. Also the light is so bad that you will have difficulties to work or dress once the day light is over. The bathroom is small and could be improved. The breakfast should be improved.

Stayed only one night but it was just what we needed comfortable bed enough space to make around and close to everything. Will definitely stay there again.

It is just what you need for an overnight. Confortable, nice restaurant, good service to and back to the terminals. Check you ask for your receipt on check out as I was debited in my credit card even I had paid cash the little stay expenses (not the stay that was paid on arrival) They are returning the undue charge today (they promised)

Great airport stopover hotel

Very convenient hotel for an airport stopover - just what we needed. It's a short distance from the airport (about £10 in a taxi) and the room was very big, had a comfortable bed and there's a restaurant at the hotel which does dinner and breakfast. There is a shuttle to and from the airport which is free from the airport and about £1-2 to go to the airport and it runs every hour. Would thoroughly recommend for an airport stopover

I didn't like my stay at all. Hotel is in bad shape, smells bad and service is not good. I insisted on a wake up call for 2am several times and never got the call. I didn't lose my plane, because I set up my iPhone's alarm clock. Hotel is not that near to the airport

It is a nice hotel for basic needs. We are totally satisfied. Cheaper alternatives can be found in the neighbourhood. Breakfast is basic and surcharge (32 BRE/person). Taxi to SP costs 100-120 BRE (you need to pay 50% more then the taximeter registers or make a bargain for 100 without TM). Taksi to Guarullos is fix price 50 BRE, ülternatively you may check the Airport Shuttle for 7 BRE/p if schedule is OK for you. Finally; fully satisfied with the services we received from this hotel. Well done..

Near the airport, but not an airport hotel

In general staying near guarulhos is a negative experience - the cost is high, the options are slim and many are not near the airport. This hotel is actually in the city of Guarulhos not at the airport. Our plane schedule did not line up with the airport shuttle bus schedule so we had to take a cab that cost 50 reais, which is not cheap for an airport hotel. Also I booked the hotel on this site but they still wanted me to pay for the hotel.I finally showed them the email etc and they got it, but it took 10 minutes and I just wanted to check in and go to bed. Other hotels in the chain are normally a little more professional.

Nice place to wait for a connecting flight

It has all you need to stay overnight until your next flight. It has the minimum you need, and not only breakfast is good, but also, meals, a very confortable room, the pick up and delivery to the airport is accurate and punctual.

Only if you are in transit

Hotel is fine for a one night stay in transit in the Sao Paulo area, there is no alternatives for dining, except the Hotel Restaurant, which menu is in the high side. Room good with kitchennetee for long stays. If you need to visit downtown Sao Paulo, long drive and expensive.

I actually can't recall anything specific. It was about the tenth place I'd stayed the last four weeks. Was dying for cup of coffee and there was no coffee maker. First place I'd been without a coffee maker. Seemed strange for Brazil to be the one place without. Otherwise all was fine. Quiet and comfortable, friendly staff, clean etc. miserable traffic to and from airport, not hotels faultAnd I'd bring some instant coffee next time. .

Crib to Awat a Flight

I have had many stopovers in Guarulhos, and I always stay here. the shuttle keeps its schedule, and the hotel rooms are very clean and comfy. The front desk staff speaks English, and are very welcoming! Also know that the near-by Ibis Hotel has a nice coffee bar. You can get a shot and a snack there. home away from home!

No food after 10pm. In two times I had problems with the shuttle, with the front desk, with room smelling Tobacco and with the checkout. Too much to me.

A very simple setup, it serves its purpose well. The hotel staff can speak english well for those who do not know portugese. They are willing to help you out no problem. Just dont expect a 5 star stay. Even the area is a good place to see the culture.

Simple, well valued close to airport accomodation

Very good value, simple airport accomodation. Staff where friendly, professional and spoke english very well. Nothing was too difficult for them and room service turnaround times where one of the best we have experienced. Simple dinner was ordered and recieved within 15 mins. Location is about 10 mins from the airport, although this was at 5.00am with little of the notorious Sao Paulo traffic jams. I would definately stay again.

Amazing Hotel in Every Aspect

My experience at this hotel was amazing. The staff were friendly and very helpful in whatever I needed it was also nice that they spoke english fluently. Also the transportation from the airport to the hotel was very nice. Also since my flight left early in the morning before this transportation started I was glad to find that the staff helped me to arrange a Taxi and also helped me speak to the driver and made sure I was not overpriced for the ride.

The best customer service ever!

When I arrived early (8am) I started on the wrong foot because I could not find the airport shuttle and chose a taxi instead. This cost me R$45. I mentioned this to the front desk who apologized. Perhaps because of this, they did not charge the 1/2 day rate for arriving so early and the return shuttle was free (It is advertised at R$3). I arrived in the room and the first thing I noticed was the sofa was really worn and had holes in the seat cushion; but, everything else in the room was absolutely perfect and even with the holes in the cushion, it was comfortable. The bedroom is separated from the rest of the room giving it the appearance of being small. If you like to stay in your room for your whole trip this may not be the perfect hotel for you. The room has a microwave and an electric stove and the bathroom has a hair dryer which is nice. The main restaurant does not open for dinner until 7pm so if you want to eat earlier, you have to go out or use room service. Room service is the same price as the restaurant. This hotel is in a safe neighborhood. When I say safe, I never recommend walking alone at night anywhere that you visit. There is a small park next to the hotel and a grocery store within walking distance as well as a couple of restaurants so, you will not need a taxi 3 times a day. Also, if you choose to rent a car, the hotel has a parking garage.

Close to airport in funky side of town. Bad restaurant, 10.00usd burger, really bad. Room very dated ,no light in living room ,bulb burned out and fire scorch on wall. Beds were comfy . Would only stay for convenience to airport.

Perfect for a layover

Close to airport, has a shuttle, and rooms were available upon our arrival from an early flight. The rooms were also large, comfortable and well-appointed, and even have a kitchenette. However, there is not much around the hotel to do or eat - and we were charged an extraordinary sum for two drinks in the restaurant. Fortunately, we found the bar outside the next night.

Very Convenient to Sao Paulo's International Airport

I stayed here as I needed a hotel convenient to Sao Paulo's international airport (Guarulhos). Indeed, when I arrived at this airport I easily found where the hotel shuttle was waiting (ask at the tourist info desk in the lobby) and when I went to take my night flight to the US I again used their shuttle. Be sure to make arrangements in advance at the front desk in the hotel to take it to the airport as it runs certain hours only. It's free. My room was very comfortable - it was a suite with a microwave and fridge, too; very clean. Hotel staff were very pleasant and everyone at the front desk speaks English. Also, if you want to use the internet you can so so for free in the lobby - just ask at the desk; again, I found the staff most helpful.. The hotel is in a building complex shared with two other hotels, and there is a restuarant in the lobby where I had dinner. The food was fine - I had the buffet which had lots of choices. This restaurant is open only at meal times. In the Ibis hotel there is also a small coffee shop which is open 24 hours - I had coffee there several times and it was quite nice. Finally, there is a small bar/lounge you can reach from lobby which opens at 6PM; it seems more used by locals than guests, but I found it enjoyable to sit on its patio and sip a drink.

The hotel is located about 15 minutes from the international airport (GRU) although quite distant (in terms of travel time from central Sao Paulo). The latter was the only disadvantage of staying there. The rooms were comfortable, the cost was relatively modest, the staff was very helpful, and the shuttle to and from GRU was very convenient for us because we stayed two nights before flying to another city in Brazil.
