Short stay

It is a businessman’s hotel. Expensive, rooms are small. Not comfortable for a vacationing couple. Breakfast was wonderful. Employees were friendly, kind and professional.

Wonderful hotel. I stay here every time I visit Frankfurt which is now numerous. Each time Le Meridien is welcoming and exceeds expectations. Great rooms and great service.

Nice Hotel, easy to find, walkable from train station ! A bit noisy at night....but the double glass window works! Did not try breakfast because need to get early train.....but you definitely find a nice coffee and pretzel at train station !

Great hotel

The hotel was absolutely wonderful. From the staff at the front desk to the waiters at the bar to the waiters at breakfast our experience was first class.

From the welcome to the stay and the depart all was exquisite! Respectful and allowed for privacy. The gentleman at the check in were full of etiquette.

The stay was mostly good, but the AC in the room wouldn’t turn on, and the fridge was broken. I would have asked for a new room, but it was late, and I was tired. Other than that the room was fine, and the staff was good. For the price in the neighborhood, other hotels have been nicer for less money.

The old rooms need renovations.

Frankfurt

Le Meridian Frankfurt is a lovely hotel. Disappointed in surrounding outside hotel area . Very close to the major train station. Better to have room in newer section - despite central air conditioning rooms can feel stuffy.

BEWARE! They advertise air conditioning but it’s awful! We had two rooms and both were awful. Air conditioners did not work .. one smelled of cigarettes and the other of sauerkraut??? I preorded a pot of coffee and they literally brought half a cup for 10eu… remote to tv did not work. We stay at primarily Marriot properties and Le Meridian’s have as keys been great… but STAY AWAY

The staff were extremely patient and wonderfully helpful, especially with young children and lots of luggage. The breakfast was diverse and had many options. Best hotel Buffett for breakfast! Would love to stay again!

Unprofessional staff. Nothing worked well..Sauna didn’t work. Air conditioning leaked and had to change rooms, but forgot to give us childbed (but remembered to charge us for it) Check in not till 6pm,, restaurant food terrible and cold

Great Hotel in a Central Location

Only in town for one night for the EUROS and chose the hotel as I am a Marriott Bonvoy member. As expected, a warm welcome was received and the room was spacious and modern. Located just a short walk from the Bahnhof, Le Meridien is a sensible choice if visiting Frankfurt.

Hotel employees all friendly and rooms comfortable.

The staff was quite kind and helpful. Rooms were clean and functional. Breakfast was only okay for the price ($38 euros per person if you pay morning of). In hindsight, we would have gotten breakfast somewhere else.

The hotel was great and the staff was incredibly friendly. The only knock on the hotel is that the Air Conditioner wasn’t like it is in the US. But, if you travel enough to Europe, you probably already know this.

I canceled my reservation thru Expedia -and the reservation on Expedia showed it was canceled so when I got a bill in my email, I contacted the hotel. They told me I didn’t cancel the reservation. Then I found out through Expedia that they had a second reservation, which I thought was odd because I didn’t make one I didn’t get a second confirmation, they told me they would contact the hotel. I sent them the copy of the cancellation notice and the hotel is that I had two reservations well if they thought I had two reservations, they could’ve asked if it was a duplicate reservation. However, they are not interested in customer service and despite using the Meridian in other European cities, I will never book with them again due to the lack of customer service. It’s a pathetic example of where this brand has gone down the tubes

Location, staff, and facilities at a good price.

From the moment I walked in the lobby, the staff was top notch. Very friendly, greeted me with a glass of juice and checked in with ease. Took me to the elevator and escorted me to my room. I appreciated that since I was a senior lady traveling alone

The hotel is just fine. It is five minutes from the Hauptbahnhof and about a 15 minute walk from the Romer area and is near the river. People we nice and the room as just fine. It is a standard American hotel room, so functional but nothing special. Note breakfast price is outrageous.

Room and staff were great, great atmosphere in Bar / Restaurant at night!!! Once you step outside the hotel and turn towards the Train Station- that’s when you realize it is unsafe area. Turn Left from Hotel Lobby and area is Fine.

Staff was superb. However the room was absolutely freezing. The heating was useless mostly blowing out what felt like cold air during my stay in Nov. the ceilings are very high and the AC unit was at the absolute top. I would go to bee wrapped up in a sweater and robe with two blankets and still got sick during my two night stay.

The staff was very accommodating upon our arrival. I had messed up the reservation and they were able to work with me to make it right. On top of that they gave us a free room upgrade and breakfast. Could not have asked for more from the registration desk. Thank you! Expedia - You disappoint me in the lack of ability to reschedule my original reservation on my phone.

Great staff

We liked the proximity to the train station. We liked that our Viator tour picked us up at the front door. We did not like the general area, feeling somewhat unsafe.

Property is surrounded by homeless people and after 7pm, it is simply not safe to walk. Housekeeping is terrible. I asked for change of sheets and they told me housekeeping is closed and handed me to change my own sheets. This is not what i except for a 350 dollar a night hotel. They also lost my laundry and hotel manager could care less that i was leaving at 5.30am following morning. Not a pleasant experience at what should of been a care free stay.

Reception staff made my check in and check out quickly, and it was really nice to experience. They are quite nice, and polite.

The hotel itself and the staff were great. For the room, the shower design wasn't great. It always flooded the floor. Also, the air conditioning worked, but it wasn't great. I did my research before booking, and I learned that there were some streets to avoid near the train station. I learned that there were many more streets to be avoided! Try to avoid anything north of the hotel. Everything south of the hotel and along the river walk was nice.

Excellent breakfast and restaurant. It's so convenient that the ETS tours meet and finish at this hotel.

The room was excellent and the breakfast buffet outstanding. While the restaurant is good, it is terribly noisy. My only serious complaint is the low level of lighting, notably in the rooms, which is inadequate and despite multiple requests for brighter bulbs (they are 5.5 watt), nothing was done. The entrance, too, is surprisingly dark.

I have stayed at this hotel over 10 times. The hotel and service is always very good. The location next to the main train station is very convenient. The general area has a lot of construction going on and this stay was very noisy starting at 6am.

Property was adequate. Check in staff and front desk management was completely incompetent. That incompetence led to them attempting to over charge me 70 euros. Provided my with a false record of the amount I paid at check in and then charged my card again after I pointed out the error. Pathetic. They should not be allowed access to anyones credit card, if they are not capable of keeping accurate records of their transactions.

Frankfurt 1-night stay

The hotel was nice, but not 5-star in my opinion. Room was small, but location was convenient.

Overall a lackluster stay and certainly not worth the money. Rooms in the historical section are more expensive and pretty ragged. Shower was clogged and flooded the bathroom. Sauna broken. However, service was very good and breakfast was great. I checked in and checked out disappointed and underwhelmed. Unfortunately.

Great Location, Two Different Room Style Options

I stayed at LeMeridien Parkhotel 3 times in two months. The location is convenient to walk to along the river or a short taxi or Uber to restaurants and shopping. The staff is very helpful. The breakfast is great. The bar is well-stocked and the bartenders and waitstaff are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. There are two totally different room experiences. On one side are quaint French-style rooms. On the other side of the hotel are more rooms appointed with a more typical business travel motif. Either is clean and comfortable. Depends on your taste.

The hotel didn't deliver the expected. The room though it is newly renovated and named as superior room, it was in bad condition. The AC dripping water and the floor is wet since they know the issue and the problem is in most of the rooms. The toilet is rusty. Finally, we had 3 normal size bags and there is no space to place them at all. Only one bag can be placed in tbe room. And one more dispoitment, the superior room can have parking view!

Overall it was good. Nonetheless the service could be better. At our check-out time, the lady who attended to us requested for our credit card for room payment when at the first place the hotel room had been fully paid upon booking. It will be wise for her to check on the payment status before insisting on payment.

A lovely stop over.

This is a well placed location for anyone travelling by train. The staff at reception were terrific as were those in the restaurant for breakfast. Had a lovely lunch there too.

Nice hotel in older building near train station. Being an older building it only had one tiny elevator to our wing, which was a problem. Room not ready for check in at 3pm! Not until 3:30

The hotel is in a good location, checking in was quite slow. I was put in a room right beside the lift and all I could hear was the lift going up and down. Also the air conditioning system is terrible. It does not heat the room. Also the water was cold so the shower was not very good. Cold and noisy room..also the safe did not work. The room design was ill conceived also. Very expensive hotel for very little comfort or value.

This is NOT a 5 star hotel. Maximum 3 Star. Very simple and casual like a courtyard or similar category

Very good hotel near the train station, the river, etc. Perfectly comfortable and convenient. Nice staff. My only major complaint is that cigarette smoke seemed to permeate the room on several occasions. From the hallway, other rooms or in front of the hotel? No one seemed particularly concerned about this.

Convenient location to the DB

The location is really just a 3min away from the train station for intercity travels. That makes it really convenient for us. However, just the adjacent streets to the hotel are a bit sketchy, so we were rather cautious when walking those streets at night. To change the room sheets, there is a place card that we have to remember to put on the sheets. Cleanliness and condition of the room were good, but superb. Housekeeping forgot to refill some items like moisturizer. It may be because we have our own toiletries put together, but still not really an excuse.

Excellent find in the area near Frankfurt (Main)

We were looking for a good hotel within walking distance of the Central Station in Frankfurt, and the Meridien turned out to be a perfect choice. A few minutes walk from the station, it was pretty easy to walk, even with baggage. And the hotel itself has a welcoming ambiance and seems to be quite new and modern. The daily breakfast buffet was excellent and we also enjoyed their special Sunday brunch, which evidently attracts lots of Frankfurt residents looking for a special brunch event. Their Legacy Steak house was also excellent. The concierge was exceeding helpful and gave us some other good dining options in the vicinity. We had been warned to avoid staying close to the station because of certain "seedy" characteristics of that part of town, but it wasn't obvious to us and we took a couple of lovely walks over to the river and out for dinner in the evening. Meanwhile, the room itself was very comfortable and Wi-Fi was fast and reliable.

I was confused with my booking and charging and called reception desk at midnight. The staff Teresa was very patient and kind to sort out for me. I am used to the high quality of service in Asia but I was impressed this time!

This is a extremely nice Hotel in the US would be a 4 star. Could be 5 star with doormen and bell hops but these are really a thing of the past. This Hotel is near the Main Train station. Which is a 12 min subway ride from the airport. It is near an edgy area but I felt safe. The Hotel occupies 2 connected buildings. I stayed the first time in the old section which was nice but the new part is super nice. Great bath with big shower and the bed was very comfortable and the AC worked great. The check in staff did an awesome job. Quick no wait. Accommodating. Excellent English skills. I highly recommend this great Hotel. No, I don’t work for them.

The front desk is great. The concierge is great amd even went out of his way to help us with our luggagea and bags to the station. The facilities are good and the room os spacious. Would love to have bidet or toilet shower (but this is not available in all european hotel) Near halal food area which was great convenience for us.
