Beautiful building, great location, helpful staff, amazing Breakfast . Spaciousness and beauty in the decoration of the rooms and in general silence to enjoy the stay. It can not be better.. I look forward for my next stay .
Everyone at the property was very pleasant and accommodating. The dinner at their restaurant was superb. I highly recommend.
Perfect
Absolutely excellent stay in every regard.
We love nani
poterpet'. Everything is very beautiful - chandeliers, carpets, paintings. But we waited almost 20 minutes for coffee for breakfast, and somehow the bread suddenly ran out. The TV in the room could not be turned on with the remote control. Setting the water temperature in the shower was also not easy. But this is Venice, you can be patient.
Amazing stay. Very good location , close to everything, but not crowded. Great choice on the breakfast. I liked the small garden and terrace. Especially in the morning for a cup of coffee and breakfast.
Wonderful location and beautiful property. Had a lovely stay and would recommend 10/10!
If you want to avoid the crowds and noise, and have a haven you can go to away from the tourists, this is the place. Very convenient, short walk to the Grand Canal and Guidecca side, close to vaporetto stops on both sides.
Disappointed
We were both very much looking forward to our last night of a very special trip around Europe. One gentleman at reception was very friendly and helpful. The other gentleman made no acknowledgment. We were taken to our room by a helpful porter. But was disappointed that the walk to our room was via cupboards, with doors left open. There were also stairs leading to the room, which were not mentioned on the booking. Once inside the room which was beautiful, but incredibly small and the carpet was not clean. Breakfast was exceedingly disappointing. The staff appeared overwhelmed. Whilst guests were having to eat in the entrance hall at coffee tables, due to the limited table space within the dining room. The hot breakfast items had ran out by 8.45am and not replenished. Breakfast was due to finish at 10.00am. We have stayed in many places in the city and this has been the most disappointing considering the high reviews.
Loved this hotel! Great location. Wonderful staff. Loved the garden where we ate breakfast in the mornings. The breakfast was delicious and fresh, and there were plenty of choices. The room had a classic style. The bathroom was very clean and newly updated. We traveled in September, hot during the days and cooler in the evenings. We only needed to open the large private windows in the room to get it to the right temperature so we didn't use the A/C. I would highly recommend staying here.
A Palazzo!
This was definitely an amazing experience. We asked to be picked up at the airport and we had Gianluca helping us with the luggage, driving us to the port and even suggesting a couple places to eat in Venice. We arrived right at the cront of the hotel by water taxi, the people at the reception were awesome, we had dinner at the restaurant there and it was a wonderful and delicious experience too. The room, tho most luxurious and quiet. For breakfast they have a beautiful patio, and the quality of everything was incredible. We needed to check-out a little late and they offered a couple of hours free of charge. We will be coming back for sure.
Great location and beautiful hotel
beautiful hotel and excellent location. Wonderful service and clean hotel.
Beautiful Venice
The hotel was easy to find and the front desk was very welcoming. We received a complimentary room upgrade and bottle of Prosecco. The room was a bit dated and dark for our taste, but it was comfortable for a couple. The breakfast is good, not great, and the bar was open until 10:00. The outdoor patio and common areas of the hotel are beautiful. Not sure if we'll stay here again when we're in Venice..
First Class treatment.
This property is gorgeous and met all of our expectations!
Beautiful hotel . Loved our room which had an extra sitting room
Great Experience!
Beautiful hotel! Great service from everyone. The front desk was very helpful with our questions. The breakfast was delicious and the guys made excellent coffee drinks. The room was was well appointed and very clean. When we left, the water taxi pulled right up to the hotel entrance and the front desk gentlemen walked us all the way out.
A beautiful and quiet place to explore Venice from. We had a delightful time
Lovely old palacial building with very tranquil garden. The restaurant was great and location was excellent.
This hotel is located in historical building that is very well maintained. We were upgraded to Presidential Suite, beautiful and picturesque rooms with balcony and view of canal. Staff is very polite and helpful. Bathroom is big and convenient. Great stay overall
hi it was hot and the AC was not good - it did not cool the room well
Beautiful property and very nice professional staff. The AC needs to be upgraded, it was hot during the night time. Otherwise, I recommend it.
Staff was excellent
Beautiful palazzo in pleasant district. We got upgraded to deluxe room which was fabulous. Really good breakfast with plenty to choose from. Friendly staff.
Great staff
It was all that it was hyped up to be. Beautiful rooms, hotel, restaurant. Great staff. It was an enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.
Excellent service and advice on everything !
Would recommend to any family. The staff was great.
Great location, wonderful room and amazing service.
Gorgeous and well kept.
I really liked the Hotel. It’s super cute, has a restaurant with a garden, conveniently located and clean. If I come back yo Venice, would definitely stay again
Its been a surprise as night when we arrive was a Hugh storm but beside that all perfect day after we depart.
Great location and nice staff
This is an excellent hotel. Elegant property and rooms and impeccable service. It’s in a less touristed area of Venice so there are no throngs of people. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby and easy to walk to the vaparetto and all sites.
Location
Everything you would want in quiet Venetian luxury!
Typical Rome. Crowded and dirty
Amazing stay. Incredible staff. Olga and the front desk team. The restaurant was some of the best food we had in Venice. Perfect location. Prompt taxis. Bar and coffee service was lovely. The most polite and helpful staff I’ve had in my many travels.
Very pleased with our accommodations!
Excellent kick off to our 35th anniversary trip! Clean, helpful and professional staff, comfortable accommodations in a convenient location in Venice. Hotel breakfast offerings were excellent as well.
Beautiful building inside and rooms. Decent size for venician standards. Area was around 15 min walk to st marks square. I would say it’s ideal if you want to be in a quiet area but still close enough to the centre. A lot of shops around were close for the duration of our stay which was a shame. Staff were friendly but not overly so. When we were there we got absolutely drenched. In other hotels we were offered an umbrella on loan and also a dry service whilst here this was not the case. Was a shame and it would have made our stay a whole lot more enjoyable. Breakfast was good. The room could be bigger but we were the latest ones to arrive so plenty of space.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Lovely hotel nothing not to like.
The carpet in the room is worn down. There was no view. I felt claustrophobic in the room even though it was spacious there was too much furniture that made it feel enclosing. The bar was not well stocked.
Great service.
Got an upgrade to a junior suite deluxe and the room was amazing! Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was awesome, and hotel was in a great location. Slightly off the beaten path in a good way. Highly recommend this hotel!
Wonderful hotel with the most helpful and friendly staff. Made our trip to Venice easier with how accommodating and knowledgeable the staff was.
Excellent
Lovely hotel, staff were very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was also excellent.
Wonderful place with great service and amenities.
We loved Venice, the hotel is perfect stay, staff was very friendly and helpful.
The staff at the hotel are lovely. The room was nice; a little small but definitely had that “palace” feel. The old school radiator was a little loud on some nights but don’t think they could have done anything about that. The bed was super comfortable and bathroom luxurious. We did not have a canal view but did overlook the garden, which was lovely especially for a post breakfast espresso. The neighborhood is a gem; some of the best chichette spots inVenice right outside the door! Great stay! Easy to get to other areas of Venice too and be away from crowds!
We an an amazing experience and highly recommend staying here if you like the royal treatment!
Staff were very helpful. Location was nice as most areas of Venice could be reached by some walking. Those that weren’t were reachable by water taxi or water bus. The hotel was very willing to help arrange transportation to various areas including the airport; you just have to tell the front desk when and where you’re going.
Wonderful stay!
Beautiful hotel that used to be a museum, room was very nice, staff were always very friendly, smiley and helpful and it is in a convenient quiet location. The garden in the summer will be amazing too!
This was the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and it’s in a great location- close to a water bus stop and very close to Academia. I felt like true royalty staying here. They also hold your bags after checkout, which was very helpful.
The property was as listed online. For the price, the amenities could have been better. The staff were friendly & available if we needed anything.
Beautiful bathroom, the staff was excellent and so friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Great cappuccinos and lattes.
Highly recommend
Just returned from 3 nights at this hotel. Lovely hotel, friendly & helpful staff. Good location, 15 mins walk from St Mark’s Square. Room was small, but perfect for a city break as we we only slept in our room. Bathroom was huge and was very clean. Very good breakfast, everything from fruit & yogurt, to pastries, cereals, cold meats/cheese, to hot cooked breakfast. A good start to the day. Would recommend.
A great hotel. A little off the beaten path but only a minute or two.
Very nice hotel, good location, very clean
The property is beautiful particularly the courtyard, which was a lovely place to sit and have breakfast or a drink in the evening.
My favorite hotel during my entire trip. Absolutely stunning rooms and public spaces. Professional and friendly staff. Excellent buffet breakfast and generously sized lattes!
Staff was outstanding and breakfast was good.
The property is gorgeous. Stayed here on last stop of Italy trip and the room upgrade received with VIP ACCESS had very large bath/shower. Much appreciated after a week of tiny bathrooms. Staff was very attentive and requests were fulfilled without concern. Very easy walk with luggage from waterbus station, but the door to door water taxi to airport is the way to go.
Absolutely incredible
This has by far been the best hotel I have ever stayed in! Staff is attentive and remember who you are as well as give you suggestions for the best things to do around Venice! Absolutely loved the room we stayed in and would definitely consider coming back!
Everything was excellent and we enjoy Nani very much. Staff were great specially Renee and Sofia. Thank you very much Hormoz sarkis
The property is very well maintained. We were upgraded to a junior suite deluxe. The room was spacious, had a balcony and a well equipped bathroom with a bidet, shower and tub. The balcony was large and very nice. Coffee was great. Breakfast buffet, which was included, had a very good variety of items. Fresh fruits, compotes, juices, cereal and milk, a good selection of yogurts, cold cuts and salad, scrambled and boiled eggs, sausages and bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms and a large selection of breads and pastries. Staff were very helpful, provided very good guidance on places to visit.
Delightful hotel in Dorsoduro
Nani Mocenigo is a delightful hotel in the Dorsoduro area of Venice. The well-appointed room was beautiful and energy- efficient, breakfast items were varied and plentiful, the courtyard was quiet and picturesque. In addition, the staff was efficient and friendly. After a day of sight-seeing, it was a joy to return to this somewhat off-the-beaten-path area of Venice.
Stunning hotel
Truly one of a kind. The hotel is even more beautiful than the photos. The rooms, the staff, everything was 5 star. Concierge helped with directions and making restaurant reservations. Location was great too - close to main attractions yet a little off the beaten path so the hotel felt calm and quiet. Great spot when coming to Venice
Beautiful place in easy walking distance of everything. This place cannot be better
Beautiful hotel in an excellent area. Quiet, but easy quick walk to all area attractions. Very helpful front desk even before check in, helping with recommendations and reservations. Clean room and very nice lobby and breakfast. Highly recommend and would stay here again.
Everything was good The staff, accommodations were what we expected very good. Liked the location, away from the crowds Would definitely recommend it
Impeccable hotel. Truly beautiful. Excellent customer service. A few minutes from Vaporreto stop. Lots to eat in the area.
Pleasantly Surprised
We have a family of five and needed a last minute stay in Venice due to a booking error we had at a different hotel. This place worked out just fine. We had the family suite and it was dated, but worked well for us. Breakfast at the hotel was great. We were a 15-20 minute walk to Rialto Bridge and St Marks. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Close to Zaterre water bus platforms. Rooftop view from family suite (photo attached).
Nice, walkable to most attractions. Friendly helpful english speaking staff
Fantastic location near to most attractions, easy to get to, water taxi’s nearby, many places to eat out in vacinity. Excellent friendly, polite, helpful staff at hotel. One exceptional employee at hotel was Sofia who was very knowledgeable about the area, recommended fantastic restaurants, helped out with our sightseeing’s and even sorted out our breakfast bag on our departure such an excellent asset to the hotel. Hotel was well established with great decor, ambiance, service, setting and maintained. Thank you for our great stay.
Wonderful experience
This is a lovely, well-located hotel with beautiful and well appointed space. It is immaculate and the staff is lovely. Only complaint is that they do not offer laundry service- but despite that we would certainly return
Excelent
Beautiful hotel
Stunning hotel, perfectly located within easy walking distance to St Mark’s Square and Rialto Bridge. Superb hospitality and the included breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended
Excellent service. Clean & good location. Highly recommended.
Beautiful place to stay 4 days
The hotel is lovely, quiet, but well located a moments' walk to the Accademia bridge and the museum. The courtyard in back is a serene place to have breakfast. I booked a "comfort" room, which was fine for me (traveling alone) but a couple would be in close quarters, especially if they travel with lots of bags. One small wardrobe with minimal drawer space. The bathroom is sparkling marble top to bottom. My room had a glorious view of the back courtyard and the tower of the church on the Zattere beyond. I will happily stay here again.
Live like a Doge
This is an amazing hotel recently opened in an historic palazzo. The suites are huge and fabulously furnished with antique carpets and furniture. Breakfast in the garden is perfect. The neighborhood is funky with more students than tourists. It’s my second stay and won’t be my last.
Beautiful palazzo
Beautiful hotel, excellent location, staff kind and professional. We would definitely go back!
Simply the best and most beautiful property of our entire trip. The historic architecture is blended with all the modern amenities to make this an amazing hotel. The staff and services are top notch.
Stylish, well maintained hotel. Beautiful hotel room and communal areas. Bed very comfortable. Garden quiet and pleasant to relax in. Good breakfast. Although the hotel isn’t in the centre of Venice, it is within walking distance of the attractions. Unfortunately the hotel bar and restaurant is closed on a Monday. We were unable to enjoy a coffee in the garden on the Monday we were staying at the hotel.
Gorgeous Presidential Suite
I am a developer of luxury hotel properties and I was amazed by the quality of their presidential suite. It is truly an experience.
Great property, quite, excellent breakfast and evening bar along with a great room for 4people.
It is beautiful hotel close to water taxis great for walking, close to historical sites, wonderful staff very helpful, comfortable beds, Air conditioning, an outstanding breakfast. An exceptional hotel to enjoy Venice Italy.
Great location clean rooms
Great little hotel and very polite and friendly staff
Venetian Grandeur
We had an incredible stay here. We were already looking forward to the nice room we booked, but we were given an upgrade upon arrival to a suite. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been, much less stayed in. We felt like royalty. This hotel is comfortable and has all modern conveniences without compromising it’s gorgeous historic character. Staff were helpful, breakfast was generous, and the location was prime. We could not have dreamed up a better experience.
Liked - It was in a nice quiet neighborhood. There was a sitting area and a bedroom. Breakfast was fantastic. Did not like - The air conditioning was controlled by the hotel. It was very warm in our room at night which made it hard to sleep. Even when we asked them to make it colder, it never got comfortable. The window looked right at another building, so that was disappointing.
Stunning and quiet
Stunning place. Quiet neighborhood. Lovely rooms. Had one very unhelpful from desk staff person… otherwise had helpful ones.
The hotel is magnificent and as we were semi-upgraded to the Presidential Suite, we had the best of it. The decor and the palace itself are dizzyingly beautiful. Our suite had ceilings over twenty feet high with truly massive Murano chandeliers and sconces. High quality frescos covered the grand walk-in closet, as well as the bedroom ceiling. The bathroom was entirely clad in top grade marble, and not mere tiles but enormous slabs. The furniture included antique tables with exquisite marquetry. We wound up in the Presidential Suite because I mistook the Junior Suite for being a two room unit based on the photos in the listing. It wasn’t. As I was traveling with my friend and his son, we most definitely needed separate rooms. We were allowed to upgrade for a modest surcharge. The staff was outstanding, the breakfast was outstanding, and the location was excellent, though a bit noisy as Ca Foscari students hang out every night along the canal in front of the hotel. Nonetheless, very strongly recommended.
Great place, but…
A beautiful, charming and well maintained, clean palace. Duly a four star + hotel, but missing a few small features for a five star rating. The bar food option was limited to sushi (very good) instead of some of the other light fare indicated on the website. Sounds proofing was poor and our room was also very noisy, letting in noise from our neighbours and from the street below at all hours. We organised most of our Venice meals at highly rated restaurants and the front staff helped with one of the bookings. For the single evening we asked for a recommendation of somewhere nearby for light and simple fare, they sent us to a tourist trap with very below-average food, very disappointing. Overall would absolutely stay again, but these factors should be known to order guests…
Superb - great staff. Lovely garden in back for breakfast and relaxing. Around the corner from Zattere water bus stop. Great family run wine bar a few houses up. Room was superb on ground floor- but lift available for higher floors. Good mini bar and toiletries also available eg I’d forgotten toothbrush and paste and front desk gave me two. The breakfast staff very enthusiastic too- would easily stay again.
nice stay
it was nice stay but there was not any chairs to relax in room as room was very small but bathroom was quiet big Breakfast was so so no omelette or fried eggs(charge extra) bacon and sausage so so Nothing warm things for vegeterian
Fantastic hotel and staff, stunning rooms and great location.
A lovely hotel with a fantastic staff...
The hotel is located in a lovely, calm area adjacent to the Accademia. We were extremely impressed by the kindness and professionalism of the staff, as well as, the quality and beauty of the hotel. The attention to details was amazing. The only reason we give them a 10 is because 100 is not available!
Fantastic service from check in to check out. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation in their wonderful restaurant La Bauta.
