Nice hotel and friendly staff.
This hotel is on what appears to be a mostly deserted street. The room was very noisy and we were kept awake all night by noise from the street. The room was not that clean, and the front desk staff was not very helpful. No place to eat on the premises.
Great service, poor facility
My husband and I stayed one night in the Hotel Coca Imperial. The front desk worker was fantastic. He was helpful, he was caring, and he did everything in his power to help our stay, including helping with laundry service. However, the room was not very clean, including finding used/chewed gum on one of the headboards, hair in the sink, and hair in the shower. The window in the bedroom would not lock and the window above the shower would not close. Bottom line, I'd hire the front desk people if I could, but I would not stay in this hotel again.
While there was a language barrier, they worked very hard to communicate and to make my stay as good as possible.
It's a decent basic hotel in a good location. Good for a night when you arrive in Coca. There was construction going on during the day in a nearby hotel room but otherwise it served the purpose.

Gute, günstige Variante in Coca
The staff were friendly and welcoming! I went on an Amazon tpur and stayed there when I came back. The rooms were extremely clean, immaculate. The shower had an abundance.of hot water, I always check in Ecuador, nothing like having a head full of shampoo and the water turns to ice. You will never worry about hot water at Hotel Imperial Coca. There really is no outside area for the hotel, hard to even know it was a hotel from the street. That's the reason for that rating. If I ever went back to Coca I would HAPPILY stay at Hotel Imperial Coca again!
