The whole hotel was spotless, and the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. I only regret that they should encourage more to be more eco-friendly with staff, guests and neighbors.

An amazing place to go with the family and have a good coco loco or a piña loca. The food it’s amazing and the people that works there are incredible bring cash for tips.

Horrible Customer Service

First of all they charged me an extra $50.00 for the room when I registered even though I had paid the total amount. I agreed to do so since I was far away from the city and had no choice. They made me wait for my room until 5:00 P.M. for the room keys. I had stayed before with no problem, great service but this time they failed to do so. This will be the last time I make reservations with them. Thanks.

Amazing stay! Employees were incredible

I needed a good last minute place in the area to stay with my family and found this gem on Expedia. Once I arrived I was surprised at how great everything was. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left I was happy. I booked one night and following morning we decided to stay a second night and continue enjoying the pool and beachside perks. Staff was beyong helpful and friendly. Bar and restaurant staff were amazing aswell. Next time I come to Guatemala I will stop by here again.

Nice and clean

Hotel was very quiet maybe family oriented, even the music was at a very reasonable level so it wouldn't bother. Pool was clean and well maintained, chairs and towels available, private beach with a couple of tables so you can enjoy the service. Food was excellent, maybe on the $$$ side but very good. Service was great from everyone in the hotel. Will gladly be back.

This is the second time we have stayed here. It is exceptional for the price!!! You feel like you are on a luxury vacation… many comments talk about the food being expensive, however as an American who is used to American food prices I found the prices totally reasonable. The customer service is great, although sometimes slow. Jose Alfredo made our stay unforgettable. The rooms are very clean, they have air conditioning throughout and hot water in the bathrooms. It is removed from the tourist town of Monterrico … if you don’t have transportation it is hard to get to outside restaurants and shops so the hotel restaurant is really the only option. However because it is removed, the beach is private and safe and there is no noise and rarely a stray dog. (No dogs are in the pool area, restaurant area or hotel area!!) We will continue coming back here. I recommend over and over this place.

Staff are wonderful. Suites confy. They do have a lifeguard on duty on weekends, which made us feel safe to go swimming in the Ocean. Food can improve.

I was offer a view to the beach room for three when I got there they didn’t give me a beach view and when I say something they charge me $110 more for the view so I am not happy was disappointed about that good food

The hotel is excellent, safe , swimming in the beach is not safe but swimming pools are in the property you can walk through the beach ,food is excellent and service beyond my expectations very professional and honestly, I forgot my phone charged and the office called me to go back and get it I was very happy. I will recommend to all my friends .

It was nice, but it is necessary that they have a bilingual person to understand English speaking people.

We had a very nice stay, but it is necessary that the hotel hire a bilingual receptionist since we could not understand each other.

Just an average hotel for the high price. We had no water pressure in our room to take showers. The hotel was okay, but I wouldn't stay again at the same cost. I would look elsewhere.

The stay would’ve been better if you had wifi

Very nice people, the food was very good everything was just great. The only thing that we didn`t like it was no WIFI services at the room. also they don`t have security system inside of the hatel.

This property is beautiful. We have stayed at other properties in the area and they don't come close to the quality and service of the Cayman Suites. This was our second visit within the last two years and we are boking our next trip for next year. The staff is great and the pool is great. Only the menu needs to be improved and they need to bring back the breakfast bar.

Very clean facility, great staff. Swim up bar was awesome. Coco loco drink is amazing. Food is ok and a little expensive. Beach is not that great for swimming but it’s beautiful.

Our room was spotless and well taken care of. The beach has trash (the Hotel cleans it every morning). There were lots of mosquitoes.

Toda nuestra estadía estuvo muy bien. Únicamente quisiéramos comentar que la cama es muy suave (aguada) y dormimos muy mal y despertamos con mucho dolor de cuello y espalda. Tomamos también un masaje cada uno, estuvo muy bien y a la orilla de la playa, sin embargo hacemos la observación que la masajista no tenía mascarilla y sería adecuado que tengan servicio de bata para las mujeres ya que solo tenía una toalla pequeña que si expone a las mujeres al quitarse el traje de baño.

Great staff service, clean premises, awesome food !

We love to stay here in one of the poolside rooms - it is so convenient to roll out of bed, go to the pool or the beach or the restaurant and just relax all day. The pool is right on the beach, so you can see and hear the waves crashing all day and night. The food is good, the service excellent. We have stayed here many times and will definitely come again!

The food was too expensive The staff are not friendly and helpful at all To much noise in the upper room meanwhile I was sleeping You cannot bring anything like food or drinks, but theirs are 3x expensive

First time at this property and absolutely loved it. Love the view of the pool to the beach. Definitely will come back again. Great restaurant food.

Oceanfront hotel

Place was little hard to get too. You have to turn into a dirt road. Once you reach the end you are greeted by security. Place was wonderful great view. Food was amazing. Staff was excellent and very accommodating.

The restaurant on site was unique, delicious and affordable....! Even pool-side service and all!

Everything was good until somebody stole my bathing suit cover from the pool.

Love small villages for vacationing, facilities in great condition. Food very expensive and not the greatest quality.

The reservations went well and check-in was quick and easy. As frequent Expedia users we received a fruit plate in our rooms and the second day a nice flower arrangement. A free of charge room upgrade became available the 3rd day. After you reach your room, check that any connecting door with an adjacent room is dully closed. The pool is nice, but launch chairs without cushions are not really comfortable. WiFi/Internet works only in the lobby, restaurant and near the pool. No internet at the rooms which is a no-no these days! The description indicates both Spanish and English are spoken, but in reality this is not so. The staff and the Manager are very kind though, attentive and always trying to help. There were many mosquitoes; though this is normal in the rainy season, but no apparent action was taken by the hotel to make the environment more amicable for guests. The restaurant is disappointing: really expensive, with very little variety and less than average quality. Breakfast is the exception. The restaurant “ambience” (structure, lighting, furniture, and oftentimes music repeating the same song over and over) is awkward; the place has lots of potential, but this is currently not being exploited. All together we had a good and pleasant time and stay; and as said before, the staff and Manager were great. I tried to be as honest as possible with the comments and hope these will help the staff/management, but especially the owners to make from this nice hotel a great one.

They were aware of VIP status. I did not use the US$11 credit but they did reminded me of the benefit. They left us a fruit plate at the room. Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff.

Good place to stay

My family loved the view from the dinning area and patio. Also, the pool area was vert nice and well maintained. We did not like the day guest. I had to get up early, (5:30), to save lounge chairs around the pool so my wife and kids would have a place to sit. The day guest arrive early and take all the chairs. We are paying for a room and should have pool lounge chairs reserved for overnight guest.

Great location. Small hotel with beautiful landscape. The only thing we did not like was that they did not let us enter a small cooler with soft drinks. An overpriced place.

Great place to vacation, family friendly and place is clean, well kept. Staff is wonderful, not too crowded and place is better than expected. Restaurant is awesome, food was great, drinks and resort vibes are great. The one thing, exchanging dollars was hard, they only would do $60 per day. Prices are high and it kind of makes you stay in the resort.

Beautiful property and well maintained. Amazing views. Accommodated all our ADA needs. Rooms had a clean and disinfected smell. Food was amazing and chef dining specials were absolutely delicious. We definitely will be returning for a longer stay.

The roads are dirt roads did not like 😒. The property is very clean and staff are great. They are following all covid restrictions.

Overall Marvelous time

Was a great time even with a rainy day, really peaceful and people is very kind and helpful, accommodating are superb great ambiance and relaxing time up front of the private beach. Only thing I will like they innovate is the food need to be better .

Very old property. I noticed the water is kinda yellowish i had to brush my teeth with bottled water. Food was ok but little overpriced. By the way don't try to bring your own wine cuz it's not allowed. Very disappointed.

Everything was good the only thing the i don’t like it is wifi if you go there thinking the your going to get wifi your in the wrong place, no wifi in any of the rooms only at the restaurant and they turn it off at night and turn it back on like 8:30 in the morning this was mi only issue with the place everything also was good

Great stay. Simple hotel, but nice.

Great stay. Nice hotel. Nothing fancy. Simple, very simple decor. No hot water during the one night. Be prepared to drive on very long, bumpy & narrow road, with LOTS of pot holes. Nice pool. Beautiful beach, sunrise & sunset! Nice restaurant with great food. Bring your own beach towels if you do not want to worry about a $50 charge if you lose the towel they provide.

Friendly and clean.

Very disappointed with this hotel, it’s way overpriced for what it offers, there were aunts on 2 of the beds and lots of bugs in the room. Had to switch to other room, staff is rude and very strict we couldn’t even listen to music by the pool area, very quiet and boring not enough activities for the family and the fees for not turning in a pool towel were outrageous $25.00 per towel 😳 the reservation was for 2 rooms for 10 people and was told I had to pay $42 for an extra person when the reservation stated each room was for 5 ppl each. the hotel entrance is horrible and there aren’t any good places to go in the area. We will not stay or recommend this hotel for any future stays.

It was a nice hotel, a little expensive for what it was. It was like paying a resort price for a regular beach hotel. The ac in the rooms was fantastic though, and the staff was super helpful and friendly. The restaurant again was extremely expensive for food that was ok. We were there on a weekday so all the nearby eateries were closed. I highly recommend bringing food with you if you come midweek. They do have a mini fridge, microwave, and small kitchen with sink in the room which turned out to be very handy. Lovely views and right on the beach. Overall, a nice little place to stay.

Good get away

The hotel is great. Service to. The entrance is not that good. There is no real road to get to the hotel. But once you get there is great.

Nos sorprendió positivamente la calidad y la excelente actitud de servicio del personal. La comida muy buena y el restaurante amplio y limpio. La único que no funcionó del todo bien fue el A/C. La habitación amplia y muy limpia!

The food and drinks are very expensive. You have to eat there. And the food is outstanding, nothing exciting to be that higher prices.

The neighbors kept us up all night. They were playing their radio loidly, talking and laughing very loud. We did not sleep and had to cut our stay short. The hotel management didn't care about it.

Very relaxing. Broken sun loungers and patio umbrellas should be replaced with new ones. Can opener did not work in suite kitchen. Noisy A/C in the bedroom. Quite annoying.
