Get what you get.
From the outside, the place directly next door gives this place a bad feeling. At check in, is where everything went south. Walked in after driving six hours, to be told sorry we over booked and the site you booked from didnt send us the information. Followed by, you booked a two bed room and we sold out. Then we asked to see the room that she had avaialable. Went and saw that we could put our queen air mattress in, that is brought on every trip as a precaution. My husband and I come back down to being told thay we would have to pay more the this room because I assume the manager said so. While in said room my daughter(adult) heard them say well the walk ins were more important. That is wrong they get left overs. So we refused to pay the room that they offered for it was waaaay more. But when I went to the hotels website it kicks me to another site, not theirs. Then excuses followed. She then looked to no avail that no king room with pullout was available. The only thing they had was a king room that said no more than two guests, we had three. As well as being the same amount as the two bed room with pullout. Would I recommend sure for a couple days. Would I stay again. ... not exactly sure. We were messed around with and felt less than welcome. But again the girl that checked us in was nice. Oh says deposit will be returned upon check out. Lie. That was only plus we got waived was depsit.

Do not recommend
I would not recommend this hotel. It reeked of smoke and offers extended stay at a discount price. It was dirty, smelly, and overall unpleasant. The outside smells like marijuana and the rooms and halls smelled like smoke. There was a greasy film on everything, including the dishes. There was a sign in the room about urine and towels, which made me not use the shower. We stayed because it was on our way to our honeymoon and had availability. I would recommend driving until you find another place.
Was fine
Unfortunately, this property has gone downhill since last year. Lots of dogs. Children running the halls in the middle of the night. No maintenance on cosmetic issues (wallpaper coming off the wall). No longer a curfew on the patio (we got to party unwillingly until after 3am). Two kids asked at the desk about equipment for the pool table, table tennis and foosball - all had been stolen.
Cigar smell in the room
No breakfast, to many people hanging around
Lesha
We just needed a nice room to stay in. Was surprised to find it was an extended stay suite.
Do not waste your time or money
This hotel is sketchy. Parking is limited due to the apartments across the street. People were outside all night hot boxing their cars or just hanging around the parking lot. Did not feel very safe at all. The lobby was even locked at night and you had to ring an intercom to get in. The entire hotel had an odor of tobacco and weed. There was a burn mark on the toilet, the carpet was sticky, and there were stains everywhere.
This place was terrible. Dogs and junkies everywhere
Don't stay here or use hotels.com
Filthy. Also probably a place where drugs are dealt and prostitution occurs. We left immediately and so far neither this establishment nor hotels.com has been helpful about a refund. They claim the manager is unavailable all weekend, which is nonsensical because thats when people stay in hotels. Don't book here, or with this website. Call any hotel directly and they will most likely offer you the same rate.
The hotel smells like smoke and dog the room should been cleaner like dusting walls floor ect wall paper was peeling the coach so old and drity curtains were dusty and had some hole the lights worked when it wanted too The pool was closed wasn't notify but how dirty everything's was i would've used it anyways The other thing is this property shouldn't be listed as a hotel most of the people there lived there
Staff was friendly and the room was large, clean and had so many amenities. Kitchenette, Jacuzzi. Very comfortable bed and pillows.
Spacious room with full size refrigerator, but some of the furniture and draperies were quite shabby.
This place put lipstick on a pig. New carpet and paint, but dirty.
Glad we went back
A lot better then our last stay. Room 224 was in awesome condition. They tried to cover up the weed the best they could. Time to implement a smoking fine 💰💰. We’re glad we gave it another chance.
Poor Choice Host Inn & Suites
The hotel itself left much to be desired. When we checked the refrigerator upon entering the room, there was fresh meat juice (like someone picked up a raw piece of meat and left the juice) on the shelf. Audrey, one of the managers, came and cleaned the refrigerator. We experienced a coach roach in the room on two separate occasions. You could see screws jutting out of the walls in the bedroom closet. However, the staff, especially Audrey, was very nice and professional. They were always smiling, courteous and polite. On the other hand, when I explained that due to extreme chemical sensitivities I could not be in the room at all once they sprayed for the bugs; they did not offer us a new room OR to move to an affiliated property. With the assistance of Hotels.com we were able to check out 2 nights early and move to another property. Except the Host Inn charged me another $100 security fee on the day of our original checkout instead of refunding me for the original security charge. While they refunded me for the second $100, I’m still waiting for a refund for the original security charge as well as for the last two nights we were not there.
Sad this place has gone down hill.
At our arrival there was no one at the desk at check in, with just a sign on the desk that said back in 10 mins, it took 15! I could see the paper with my name and info on it and my room key just sitting at the counter unattended. When we did get checked in, I came out to ask a question and the Staff were too busy talking amongst themselves to give me the time of day, so I went and found what I needed myself. Place had hand drawn/ colored signage for staff and customers. Looked horrific. The equipment was in disrepair, pool was closed and hot tub. No wall repairs/ touch ups done on wall paper or paint, shower head didnt work well at all. The light switches where damaged, lamps with damage or no light bulbs in them, no room signs with info on amenities or places to go eat. No coffee anywhere, the hand made sign in the lobby stated that the water pump was broken, 1 small ice machine in the lobby on a small counter next to the broken coffee maker, and juice dispenser that was not usable either. People were literally living there like permanenly, with there pets and with there personal mail on the floor at there doors. Felt unsafe with all the random people hanging out all over, with dogs every where. They need to do some up keep. It has potential. But someone is neglecting it. Very sad as we were there last year and it was very nice and quant. Very disappointed in this place. We wont be back. Worth spending a little more for a nicer kept place.
good
Excellent staff and rooms.
The inside of the property was nice, room did have some torn wallpaper, bathroom outlet did not work. Emplyees all polite. The area outside front door felt like a sex -trafficking area with weird people standing outside and just hanging around and smoking. One employee was outside smoking pot constanty and sometimes stared at us as we walked in and out. Across the parking lot was a less-than-desirable motel.
Very nice stay. Employees were excellent. Will book again.
It was fine. A lot of marijuana smoking
Nice surprise
Very nice stay, clean, friendly staff, very nice room/suite.
room smell like cigarettes, cushions on couch stained, people hanging outside of hotel at night, felt unsafe. would not stay again.
Dirty, bad smell overall, bad smell coming from kitchen sink, no running water on shower had to notified front desk to get it fixed. Noise area due to people always walking around outside. Mold in some areas of the rooms. Very filthy, not worth spending a night not even for free
The area seemed unsafe with the many people hanging around the outside. However staff was very kind, the hotel was very beautiful had a bit of a smell when ya walked in. Yet over all was nice
The property needs updating but overall what is there is looked after but dated and worn .
just awful
The property was disgusting, my wife and I had bad vibes as soon as we arrived. The area was not safe and neither were the conditions. The front desk clerk had issues running my card information, and after not being able to run my card they eventually gave us the room key. As we walked through the area we got hit with multiple disgusting odors, and it didn’t stop there. As soon as we opened our room door we were hit with an immense wave of chlorine and cleaning products and you could feel the dampness in the room and rug, we ultimately left the hotel and booked with another…complete night and day situation, I truly could not believe what we encountered was real… it felt like a horror movie. A 3.7 star rating is misleading…
Horrible customer service no clean linens for days keys would not work just the overall worst
Had to stay here for one night last minute. Staff was very nice, and friendly. Room had a stove, full fridge, etc, for only appx.70 a night, which is amazing! Wallpaper was a little loose in a couple of corners, but its not an issue, in my opinion. Overall, my first time visiting a hotel solo was great. Will be recommending this place, and using them again in the future!
READ carefully
So THIS is a Re Review of my stay this past weekend. Apparently i was not aware of the improvements and upgrades that are being done. Do I unfairly reviewed the property. Cause yall know THIS has always been my go to hotel. So I needed to make this right. AND as I looked AT my room is does NOT say sofa bed so again that was my fault. Because they are changing alot. And again I am so used to going here I really didnt read anything I just clicked my room. So Host Inn my apologies for that unfair review I left earlier. PS: And the older staff ROCK!! But I am going to give these youngins a chance lmao I do truly appreciate the Host INN for going above and beyond. See you soon
Not sure about the changes
So I have been coming to this hotel when I have my 3 Goddaughters with me because it offers a separate bedroom. Since being updated I was not aware it no longer has the pull-out sofa (bummer) And there was a HUGE mix-up with this site allowing me to pay for a room they did not have available. So, it took me a hour to actually get a room. The new bed leaves a lot to be desired. I could actually feel the springs in the mattress. And they have a lot of new staff at the desk that needs to be reminded their personal conversations should never allow them to leave a paying guest standing for 5 mins before they are able to ask for the help they need. I really did not appreciate that. Oh and this NEW thing where you bring your own trash downstairs as well as TOWELS. I have NEVER been to a hotel where I had to take used towel down to get fresh ones. The trash either. But as I said I have been going to this one for a while so either get used to the changes or find a different place.
The smelling of the bathroom was terrible, similar to accumulated moisture for years.
Place was basically section 8 living apartments. I'm not bashing or knocking anyone in a hard time by no means at all but it absolutely wasn't a good place for me and my 6 year old to stay for few nights while in town for concert.
Do NOT book this property. Had family in and they had reservations here- left the Forest night due to non cleanliness, other clients which seem to be living there long term, felt unsafe and hotel staff not responsive to phone calls or concerns. Unfortunately not refundable so lost cost for two rooms for two nights and had to pay for a more suitable place to stay.
Room for improvement
We noticed black mold in our unit. The whole unit was extremely outdated. Our non-smoking unit smelled like smoke. Paint was chipping on the bathroom door on the bottom 1/3. Rust was coming through the tub.
Comfortable stay.
We had a good stay. There is some general maintenance needed, peeling wallpaper, cracks in the walls, carpets need cleaning, but over all, clean and comfortable.
Look for other hotel in area
Smells like POT everywhere inside and outside the hotel. Walls are paper thin Dog barked every time someone was in the hall. Kids running around the halls. Location was nice for what we were there for. Check in was slow. I believe we interrupted the pot break. Numerous other hotels in area look at those. Would not recommend this place.
Not Smoke-Free
Hotel is supposed to be smoke-free, but our room had a lingering smoke odor from constant smoking. The front desk was contacted but no effort was made to relocate to another room or provide air freshener.
Sketchy area. Whole place reeked of weed.
It's like a dog farm I love dogs but not when u out for a night with ur husband and dogs jumping out on u and at ut
Was not impressed with having to put a $150.00 security deposit down for any damages that might occur. Never see it that high. Normally not more than $50.00 Then you have to bring your own garbage and used to towels to the lobby??????
This has become my favorite hotel to stay in over the last year. The rooms are like a 1 br apt. With a living room and a bedroom. Both with 42 inch tvs with at least 75 channels. Also there are luxurious studio suites with jacuzzi tubs. All of the rooms have a 3/4 refrigerator, dishwasher, 4 burner stove with ovens. The floors are carpeted. Beautiful views from the windows. Especially from the upper floors. The area is peaceful. There’s lots of stores and restaurants nearby in walking distance. Even more in driving distance. I think I sent a review last summer when I stayed here. This time I’m gonna attach the video that I took last year when I was here in the luxurious studio.
Good for Price
Cost was inexpensive for the included amenities. Close to the highway and a lot of stores.
Check in was smooth, but the smell of marijuana and cigarettes was overpowering upon entering. There are people residing in the hotel and clearly there is no smoking policy inside the rooms. There were homeless looking people with backpacks and blankets sleeping on the couches in the lobby and in the upstairs gameroom. It felt like a shelter or halfway house. The room smelled horrible and was gross. Floor in the kitchen was sticky, carpets are very dirty. I booked because it was a suite and I wanted to cook breakfast for 3 kids before heading off to ski in the mornings. The kitchen was stocked with 1 glass, 1 coffee cup, 2 plates and a melted spatula that was unusable, so no cooking breakfast. The cabinets in the bathroom were off the hinges and hung sideways. There was no bedding or extra blankets for the pullout couch. We asked for an extra blanket last night and they told us they couldnt get any until housekeeping came in in the morning. Don't waste your time here.
Do not stay here
Place smelled like smoke/pot upon walk in. They changed my room from 2 king doubles to 1 & a pullout couch, made us go down & get sheets but they had no pillows & blankets. Pullout springs pinched people & no support so pretty much slept on floor. Room: moldy, almost all outlets didn’t work, smelled bad, carpet bumpy & kept tripping, couch stained & arm of it had burn marks, room phone did not work, kitchen equipment was dirty looking and a possible danger to use. We cleaned before using ANYTHING. I was the only driver, it was 2am in a snowstorm, after driving 6+ hours or we would have left. Less than a star. Even more exhausted after cleaning and rushed to get out of there in morning because it was so gross that I forgot to take pictures.
Nice rooms, friendly helpful staff. Could use thinker blankets on beds but heat works well.
The place was pretty decent. The room we got was actually nice. It was set up kind of like a home. The bedroom had a wall around it with a door separate from the living room/kitchen. I liked it.
Byo stuff to cook with. the city closed the pool
The room was mostly clean but the whole place is run down. There were seams in the wallpaper in the room coming apart that looked like they were moldy. The wall by the stove was scorched. There are about 20 signs in the place telling ppl to wear shoes and almost as many telling ppl to keep track of their kids. The wall paper in the halls is torn up all over the place. The doors are scratched and dented. No coffee maker in the room. The site also says utensils available but that’s not the case. You have to bring your own stuff to cook and eat with. And the kicker, there is a sign on the pool door that says the pool has been closed by the city health department. The place is gross and a dump. Not worth the price at all.
Suits your purpose for a one or two night stay
There were two issues I had: 1) I can't stand smell, the moment I walked in the room I smelled cigarette smoke. I am highly allergic to it and knew what I was smelling, I reported it to the front desk woman and was advised there is no smoking in the hotel but I believe the people over me was smoking as it was the heaviest toward the bathroom side; nothing was done. It's not that easy to rebook a hotel at last minute so we didn't make too much a fuss. We went shopping and picked up some Lysol and other room fresheners which helped during the remainder of our stay. 2) I brought my second issue to the staff's attention upon leaving and they were all very apologetic, someone was assigned to take care of the situation right away. Overall the stay was good for our two night stay.
No Continental breakfast and as far as coffee goes from 12 noon until 4 AM. There's absolutely no coffee. You need to leave the hotel and go buy coffee. That's sad.
You get what you pay for. Never again.
I booked a full-size double suite over a month before our trip. We arrived to a single king-size room. We are a family of four. The front desk clerk told us that the (only) manager - yes, just one person manages this entire chain hotel - changed our reservation but did not call me to tell me. There were apparently no other rooms available. My wife and I slept on the bed while our sons tried to sleep on the thinnest mattress possible on a fold-out couch - which did not have sheets available in the room. The room, by the way, had motion sensor lights - in the room. These lights would turn on in the middle of the night if you blinked too much. I had to go to the front desk, where the night clerk told me that the lights were going off because “we were moving”. We. Were. Moving. In. Our. Room. She gave me a sheet of paper to tape over the sensor. Fortunately, we weren’t planning on using the indoor pool because the bottom had two feet of algae growing in it. There was also the stains on the sheets and curtains that we told ourselves was just chocolate but was probably blood and the walls that were shredded. And, for a non-smoking hotel, somebody was smoking. The central air circulated the smoke right in to our room.
When we arrived after 5 hours on the road I was told expedia had cancelled my room that I paid $68.74 already taken out of my checking! I was told if I wanted to stay at a the host last night I would have to pay $94.82 and $150 security deposit. The hotel clerk as rude and I did not have the additional money to spend! I will NEVER use Expedia again and too late friends warned by people that you can not trust them. I was on phone for 2 hours with Expedia and she told me she changed the date of my room And I unfortunately trusted her. Rude hotel clerk told me Expedia cancelled my reservation . I l ft after work excited able to get out early to drive5 hours to find we did not have a room. I will NEVER use Expedia again sorry to Learn too late from my friends who travel you cannot trust them. Also if the clerk at the host is who they employ rude, lazy people don’t go there!
We have bedbugs bites
Smelled like cigarettes. No coffee maker in room. No sugar for lobby coffee. Website says- restaurant and bar- not there. There are, however, other restaurants nearby.
First room we had not so good smelled like smoke they did move us to different room much better, things have changed a lot since we last stayed there is no breakfast or juices just coffee not sure if we will stay there again .
I really liked the size of the rooms (suite). It was large for our family of five. But we only had two wash clothes and towels for the five of us. The sofa sleeper had no sheets or pillow so my son slept on top with a jacket as a pillow. The kitchen was convenient but there was no silverware to eat with. My kids enjoyed the fuse ball.
Could be better
Paper thin walls , many dogs barking , toilet continuously running,
Avoid at all cost
Legit one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Smelled like wet dog, the heat wasn’t working and it blew out cold air my entire stay, wasn’t clean and the property is so outdated. Wall paper in the room was peeling, old carpets that smelled, I’m pretty sure a lot of drug addicts stay here since im 100% certain I found an empty drug bag under the dresser that had white powder in it. Overall would never stay there again
A GREAT VALUE!
What an AMAZING find! Spacious and affordable. The only complaint is not knowing there is a ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY ($150) dollar deposit! Yikes. And the parking lot is filthy and contained condoms.
Noisy neighbors, had to walk to the front desk twice to report and nothing was done. No heat. Found out only next day while checking out the pipes weren't working so whole hotel had no heat. So why are they still taking bookings? Suite looks nice but very deceived.
Met my needs oerfectly
This property had plenty of both pros and cons. Pros were that it was a suite with a separate bedroom area and had a workable kitchenette so we could cook meals. The staff was extremely helpful with getting extra kitchen necessities and the room was clean with no issues. The shower had wonderful water pressure and lots of hot water. Cons were that this seems to be permanent housing for many families and there were lots of random people loitering outside the entrance which made it seem unsafe. The pool has been closed since June, there is no continental breakfast - but there is coffee available in the lobby. Overall the experience was fine for the price point.
The hotel looks a lot better online. The hotel smells awful and the room was run down and smelt like smoke. I was charged $150 cash deposit which was fine however when I went to get it back at checkout it was not listed under my room and another employee stated it was under someone else’s room , this was weird and if the employee didn’t speak up and say that they would have kept my money. Not sure what type of a scam that is but it didn’t work. I would describe this place as a DSS housing hotel!
Bad service poor Hospitality
Hotel gets worse every time since I've been going want be another chance
Esch room has kitchenette and seperates room to sleep and other space.
The room needed so many updates. It was in poor condition and dirty. Smelled like cigarettes in the room, and bedding. There was blood splatters on the walls, peeling wallpaper, toilet rocked once sat on. It was noisy, room next door had dog that barked at all hours. I will not stay here again.
Sherri at the main desk was fantastic,,,,Our first room was not apppropriate, so she found another room for us.. The mattress was so old and soft, we both had back issues waking up...The hotel lobby was nice, clean, coffee available..It is an older hotel, but it was really clean our room and EVERYWHERE that I saw
We used to stay here 3 days prior and at that time was slow poor wi-fi! Unfortunately this time was not internet at all!
Very pleasant stay for me and my partner
Nice big suite with kitchen. Good beds Poor slow WiFi
My go to when I have my girls.
I am a frequent visitor of this hotel. Since moving my elderly mother in with me, when I get my Goddaughters (10,7, and 6) This is where we go. So this is not my first review. They have made a lot of improvements in some of the rooms. BUT they really MUST do something about the condition of the sofa bed. All you feel is springs and rails. To the point where I actually just slept on it as a sofa. Yes it was that bad. That really is my only complaint. I have never come here and had a issue with the cleanliness of the rooms or the lobby/hall It is always clean and smells great. There seems to be new staff often, But I actually added a night to my stay and it was a bit confusing (my fault) but the young lady at the desks worked it out without us having to switch rooms or anything. Which she didn't have to do, but it was def a great help.
The staff here is very helpful and accommodated me and my partner was a very pleasant stay.
Was given keys to rooms already occupied. Walls were yellow with smoke even though they are non smoking rooms. Difficult checking in. Staff unaware of processes. Did not stay and will advise everyone from staying there. Take it off Expedia
Convenient location and great prices
I was happy to see all the new upgrades that have been made. As I am here 7-8 times a year The upgrades to the room are awesome as well And I need to add. The staff. Super friendly and professional. There are 2 new staff I met. But to be greeted by the older staff by name with a warm welcome was amazing. ( I am horrible with names). Large rooms super comfortable beds and you can’t beat the prices.
Avoid
The hall way smelled extremely bad. The room its self was beyond loud with people yelling. I couldn’t get any work done so I ended up checked out early
Great for the Price.
Stayed here a few times, the place is good and the staff is nice!!
It’s an older property but very clean. Every employee I encountered spoke to me and were all very pleasant.
Close to tgi Friday’s, overall hard to beat for the price
My stay was pleasant. It wasnt bad. I did see a ciuole roaches in the kitchen, and there were plastic utensils, and the room smelled mildewy. Seems like the caroet must have been doaking wet and nit dried properly at some point. Staff was very nice even though they gave conflicting information. Not much noise, but people smoking weed outside around the corner. Maid service had a hard time folliwing instructions to just take out the trash because i really didnt want them in my room when they came, even though i had do not disturb thing on.
Great bargain for the price!
Clean, smelled nice, no smoke smell at all. Great check in service
Wasn’t informed nor was there information on the site about the pool being closed. The front desk staff were super nice. Loud dogs barking across the hall. Booked a two double bed room and got one king bed room.
Newly Renovated
We had a beautifully renovated room. I stay here very often and they have made some awesome improvements. Even the new staff are great very friendly and professional The beds are comfortable, the sofa was as well. They did do away with the dishwasher but that’s no biggie. The price is unbeatable for such a larger room. Looking forward to our next getaway.
We booked the room expecting a smoke free safe place and the moment we got inside it smelled of weed and cigarettes. I travel with a 1 yr old and a 2 yr old so we ended up leaving. It was disgusting. The floors, walls were nasty with throw up stain by our bed you could still see chunks where they just let it dry. It smelled. Random people were outside smoking. We definitely didnt feel safe being there. Tried to switch rooms but the next room we did get was exactly the same. The beds were very old and disgusting as well. Pillows were very old and disgusting too. I was very disgusted and disappointed since we just traveld from texas and were looking for a nice place to stay and relax. Lost out on money since we ended up leaving there
Property was filthy, first room we got into smelt musty and reeked of cigs. Second room was decent but everything about the room gave me the ick, bathrooms, bed, kitchen etc was all horrible. Even the staff was bad, but shoutout to the cleaning staff they’re on it and try to their best to make it clean. The place is a dump wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, definitely wouldn’t stay.
This place is in need of an udate.
It was old in need of being updated. Things were scuffed up and worn looking. it did not smell awful but did have a smell. The bathroom had hair on the floor not a lot but enough to make you feel it was not as clean as you would like. The beds were fine. They pool was shut down. I don't like their policy of charging your credit card right on the spot 150.00 for incidentals. Other places take you card info and only charge it if there are incidentals. Also, if you paid cash, they returned it when you checked out but took up to 10 days to credit your credit card. What sense does that make? They haven't checked your room yet, but they have given you your cash back. I liked that the bedroom was seperate and there was a kitchen.
Hotel needs a major upgrade. Furniture/cabinetry was rundown and falling apart. Pictures are very misleading. Had my reservation been refundable, I would have left right after arrival. The area looked sketchy, people hanging around outside at the hotel next door was sketchy, Being told the front doors are locked from midnight to 5am was the icing on the cake. Lobby also smelled funky. If you value safety, I wouldn’t stay here
No Good.
Visited for 1 night with family. Pool was not available, rooms need major updates and renovations, the area wasn't pleasant. It seems more like a motel than hotel, or even shelter. The scent of cigarettes is all over the room and hallways, although it's an alleged "no smoking facility". WILL NOT RECOMMEND, for a place to stay with family, and $150 deposit which can take up to 10 days to get your money back. The front desk staff was exceptional and pleasant.
Staff are friendly and helpful. The hot tub in our room was a nice bonus.
This hotel shares a parking area with other hotels. It is not the safest looking area, and they may have homeless individuals/families in this hotel. The room I stayed in was spacious with a mini kitchen, which was nice and unexpected. I would leave this hotel a better review if I had not had such a horrible experience trying to get my $150 deposit back. Expedia was no help since the booking had been completed. The hotel tried to keep my $150 deposit that was requested upon check-in for incidentals, I had to work through my credit card/dispute process. finally got my deposit back about two months after check out! I was at hotel for two nights during summer Peach festival. It was difficult to get back in hotel after 2am bc desk clerk was asleep and front doors lock after 9pm.
Room was dirty no fresh towels and there was still trash sitting from previous customer
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Thank you. It was great
Nice staff. Rooms had an odd smell and were outdated. Motel nextdoor was very trashy and people from jt were loud and all over the parking lot.
They messed up our booking room. Ok. We'll take that loss. We had to go to target and buy an air mattress. The pull out bed mattress was absolutely the most uncomfortable thing. We had 5 people and 4 pillows for the room. The hotel didnt have any extra pillows to give us. There were sketchy people always out front and the pool was out of order.
We were very shocked at price for the 2 rooms that we got. They were both suites. The one had a jacuzzi tub in it. The pool was down but they called over to the Fairfield and we had access to their pool. Then only thing that kind of shocked me the most was the security deposit of $150 per room. There was to be things to cook with in the rooms but very little in one room we made it work. The ladies at the front desk soooooo very nice and verrrrryyyy helpful. The manager on the last day was fantastic. Would highly recommend this place for anyone. Will stay again in future.
STAY ELSEWHERE
I have done a LOT of travelling and this is the first time I ever checked into a hotel and left immediately. First off, the person at the front desk gave us keys to one room. We went to the room, opened the door, and there was a man in there in his underwear. Terrified, we backed out of the room and scrambled to get back into the elevator. We went downstairs to request a new room. The person at the desk was nonchalant and simply said "Hm, nobody should be in there". She gave us keys to another room and omg. It was disgusting. Smelled like urine, black mold on the ceiling, toilet paper holder fell off, tissues stuck in the door stoppers, lipstick kisses on the window, we felt itchy when we sat on the bed, my husband slapped a bug off his leg, there was food in the kitchen sink. What the heck! Pay the extra money and stay elsewhere.
Don't stay here.
This place is a DUMP. Its a welfare flophouse. The room smelled like stale fried chicken and catfish. The hallways reeked of smoke. There were cockroaches on the walls and strangers knocking on our door looking for drugs.
