Hotel had no rugs in the rooms and with it wet and snow covered outside our shoes left puddles everywhere and I had to wipe the floor with a bathroom towel to dry it to avoid stepping in water in the middle of the night. Breakfast was ok but food labels were from day before and didn’t match what was out. Vehicles got broken into overnight, one being a family member. Staff told me upon checkout it’s a safe area, which told by another local that’s a lie. Lots of crime in that area. Parking lot was somewhat plowed but still slippery going to and from cars. Had cleaning person knock on my door at 9:30 am when checkout is 11am. She seemed surprised to find me in the room and had to recheck her paper. For the price it was a decent bed to sleep but would not stay more than overnight after our experience.

It was convenient to the football stadium. Room was ok for a hotel. Staff was very non-personable and somewhat rude and just there for a job except one lady. Our door key kept being shout off and resulted in several unnecessary trips from the 5th floor to lobby and back.

Everyone was kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again

Not hassle free

They didn't have the room I booked. Waited 25 minutes to get upgraded room. It was on 2nd floor directly above the entrance, so....constant noise. Parking was horrible for someone who gets in late from events. 2 years running had to struggle to get a spot . On checkout, told me they don't print receipts through 3rd party bookings. I said you did last year, she pushes one button and out pops a receipt.

Great location, clean rooms.

Walls are paper thin. You can hear everything the people in the next room say. Doors to the rooms are all rigged to slam (and I mean slam hard) shut, which is particularly annoying in the middle of the night. Bathroom in the lobby was unusable because the toilet was clogged and littered with trash. Breakfast was tolerable. Staff was so-so. I won’t ever be back.

Very run down property Bathroom was old and worn. The rooms are hollow, I could hear the people walking above us all evening 😩

Hotel was nice. We came in for the OSU game and they had a shuttle which was awesome but no shuttle back from the stadium.

Super fresh and clean property. Well appointed snack and beverage area. Courteous staff. Wonderful comfortable beds. Just a fantastic hotel.

We loved the indoor pool and hot tub. Having an hour of adult swim at the end of the night was amazing!!!

The hotel was fine- nice breakfast. The towels could use an upgrade- they were thin and grey. An upgrade would be welcome

Everything was great until I was told I had to pay extra to keep my car there past check-out because we went to the game (literally the entire hotel was going). Ok, no problem, how much can it possibly be??? It was $40, cash only, which I find extremely shady to keep my car parked at the hotel for 4 extra hours. No where does it mention that hefty fee or that it requires cash. Thy know they have you stuck and you have no choice but to pay it. Any establishment that fails to tell you extra fees and only accepts cash which they keep in a plain white envelope is shady. I like the hotel and the morning front desk lady during the week is great! But I don't like surprise fees that are clearly taking advantage, under the table, of people from out of town who have no choice but to keep there car there.

Looks like the hotel needs to be renovated.

Really cool room. Clean and nice. It wasn't quiet at night though. We were at the end of the hall farthest away from the elevator so I have no idea what we were hearing. The hot tub also wasn't hot, though it warmed up as we had the jets on, but wasn't warm enough. Was impressed it was functional though as most hotels aren't.

The rating is for the check in experience - which seems like is more of an Expedia issue. Apparently my card was declined because of the expiration date. This caused rez to be cancelled. I was never notified. Thank goodness they had a room available but I had to pay more. This is very frustrating as I made this rez months ago. I have exceptional credit. Ridiculous . What an awful process and has made me question using Expedia in future. I have quite a few upcoming reservations that I will be canceling and going direct.

Cleanliness and the choice of dining options in Columbus is great

Overall, this was a very clean and pretty hotel. Very modern and updated. Biggest complaint was that the walls/floors are not sound proof. We were woken up by people a floor above us walking back and forth in their room because the beautiful hard floors do not lend themselves to the best choice for quiet rooms.

Average but not gluten-free - EV CHARGING

Overall, the day was fairly average. I arrived about an hour before Before check-in was told that I would need to wait a couple of hours and when I came back to check in and I had to wait about 10 minutes to get the check-in process undertaken as the associate behind the counter was busy on the phone. I have stayed at other hotels in this brand and they have had gluten-free option for breakfast in this location did not have any and I was told by the kitchen staff that they normally do not. The main reason I wanted to stay at this hotel compared to neighboring hotels as they had EV charging available, which I needed for my vehicle. I was very pleased with the charging stations and their accessibility.

I was in town for a tennis tournament and needed to check out a day earlier than was booked due to it ending a day earlier than originally thought. Even though I tried to change my reservation when I checked in, I was told that since I booked through Orbitz, they could not change it and that I would have to change it through Orbitz. The Orbitz app would not let me change it since it was the day of check in. I had to pay for an additional night that I couldn't use. :(

Place was great! When a medical emergency occurred during breakfast, the staff was fast to react and assist. They were all very good

My room smells like cigarette smoke covered by febreeze. When someone from the lobby came up, she agreed. She brought some fabric spray with her and went to spray the curtains. I asked her not to spray because the scent on top of the cigarette smoke makes me nauseous. She sprayed anyways. She said she would see if there was another room available but she thought they were at capacity. She never got back to me one way or another.

Stayed overnight for OSU game. Although walkable from the stadium it was 40 minutes away walking. Hotel clean. Staff friendly. Could hear walking above us But good value for the cost

We stayed here to move our freshman son into his dorm at OSU and the staff here are outstanding.

The property was ok. The lobby is small but nice and the decor is modern. The rooms seemed to be updated but very small compared to others we’ve stayed in. We were in a 2 bedroom suite but the first room is as soon as you walk in, so it’s more like a 1 bedroom since there’s no living space. There weren’t many places to sit in the room, just 2 small chairs in the corners. The bathroom walls were banged up and so were the floors. Overall the feel of the room was less than stellar. We decided this would be our last time at a Holiday Inn. Staff was friendly and helpful. When we needed extra towels they provided them quickly. So service was good. The hotel is just a bit dinged up compared to what we’d like. Also when we returned to our hotel the second day our key wasn’t working. The front desk made us another one which didn’t work, then another that did the same. I called the front desk from my cell and they came right up. She tried her master card key which also didn’t work and ended up letting us in with the regular master key. It wasn’t a huge deal since we were checking out the next morning. Just a minor inconvenience of having to wait in the hall with the kids free a long day but it worked out. Like I said, staff was helpful. Hotel just needs work.

Nice Comfortable Hotel in Northern Columbus

The room was attractively furnished and spacious. The fridge, coffee maker and microwave were a real plus! The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. Staff was very friendly and the free breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices!

We enjoyed our stay. Didn't like that the bathroom in the 6 person suite is in the king bedroom so everyone has to cut through to use it. No privacy at all.

Facility was clean and inviting. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of variety. One con was the music playing in the parking lot was heard all night in our room since it faced the front of the building where the entrance was located.

Bart was absolutely AMAZING. She treated my sister and I like family. She checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. She took us to our blink 182 concert and was so funny. She definitely deserves a raise or promotion. We will be visiting again specifically because of her hospitality and friendliness. The room was very clean as well. The decor was really nice too. We loved our whole experience here.

This is my go to Hotel in Columbus when visiting my OSU student. It’s always clean and the staff are some of the friendliest people in the country. I always love my stay here 💯

Great property that has been recently renovated. Only complaint is that the grout is coming up by the bathroom and sticks to your feet. Guess they missed that area during renovation. Otherwise great place and would stay again.

We stayed for Kenny Chesney concert at the nearby historic crew stadium. It was a convenient drive to the stadium. The staff was kind and the breakfast area was very clean.

My daughter and her friend attended a concert at the center right down the road so I ended up renting one room two bedrooms, the rooms were very clean and comfortable with a little kitchen area. The rooms were handicapped accessible as far as hearing doorbell but the bathroom wasn’t accessible so be careful when you order. This was a very nice stay and will highly recommend. Be careful because they charge a 50.00 deposit that is not in the advertisement anywhere!

Property is close to OSU, but elevators smelled of sweat, room smelled of urine and lights in the bathroom were not working. Nonethless, staff was very nice and welcoming. Only issues were with facilities.

Last minute but it fit our needs, pool was cool until a bunch of teenagers were laud, screaming and all over the place. Breakfast needed a waffle maker but other than that it was decent.

The AC in the room was so noisy. How can anybody sleep with such a noice? If the AC in the room wasn’t running g then the AC at the end of the floor where my room was, was running. I barely slept this night. The toilet wasn’t cleaned properly. Really disgusting! And I had an annoying fly in my room. I liked the overall look of that hotel. Modern and new. No dirty carpet in the rooms. My room was spacious.

It was noisy from inside as well from outside at nights. You can clearly hear the road noise which made uncomfortable at sleep, otherwise everything is nice. Breakfast spread is good.

The property was nice. However, the hot tub was broken and out of order, so that was disappointing. The pool was open, but there were maybe 12 guests down there utilizing the pool and it apparently set the fire alarm off. We had to evacuate the pool. We also had to evacuate the building very briefly. We couldn't get back in the pool until after the firemen gave us the go ahead. The staff handled it nicely and sent an apology message out to everyone, so that was nice. They were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was not much to be desired, but it was included, so we weren't going to complain. Overall, we stayed a night and it was comfortable and good.

Quiet location in walking distance to the OSU stadium. There were a few gas stations and restaurants in walking distance, but its more set up for having a car. The pool was busy as it was 95 degrees and a baseball tournament going on, but the breakfast was hot and delicious. Best size refrigerator we had on this trip and the staff was very friendly.

We stayed 5 nights and the hotel was clean & easy to get to where we were visiting family. The staff was great especially Barb at the reception desk. They did have an issue with fire alarm going off 2 nights in a row as they were doing some maintenance work in their swimming area but other than that we had a great stay.

decent stay

My little family and I came to stay at this hotel during July4th weekend for mini getaway. Originally Wednesday to Saturday , extended to Sunday. When we checked in, Barb at the front was nice and got us checked in quickly. Went to our room and it was a double twin bed. We booked a king size room. Went back and talked to barb and she told me our room was upgraded not sure by who. I informed her we needed a king room as we needed the space for my daughter to walk around. She was able to accommodate and change our room quickly. Things was going good so my husband and i decided Friday night to extend our stay to Sunday. The total ended up being $205.61 for one more extra night. It was $174.99 plus tax. Upon Saturday morning at 7am there fire alarm went off. My husband went to check it out and there was no concerns. Then again that Saturday night there fire alarm went off 3 times in a row. Again my husband went to check and there was no urgency for anyone to leave the hotel. Not sure what was going on. We checked out Sunday and came back home. The next two days I noticed the charge on the card was not matching on what I originally booked for Wed-Sat. I did book this hotel through a third party " Hotels.com" At the time I booked it it was only $111 a night. I called the hotel and spoke with the manager Anna on Tuesday (7/9). She informed me that on there end the charges are correct. But I told her we have a receipt from Hotels.com and the numbers aren't adding up. I book through "

The property was very clean. Staff was friendly. Beds were very comfortable. The only thing I noticed was that you could hear next door neighbors tv or loud talking.

Upon checking in I was asked what kind of room service I would like during my 4 night stay. I said at most I would need fresh towels because I'm not going to be here long so I didn't feel as though I need much. I was told that my dirty towels and trash would be taken every day and I would be given fresh towels. I never seen any staff except the front desk every day.

It’s safe very quiet

Everything was great besides the breakfast being taken down at 9:30am rather than 10am as advertised. There were about 15 people looking to eat and the food had not run out. Also our room key being deactivated at 10am when check out wasn't until 11am

We did not stay at the hotel we booked they called and moved us to another hotel. We had reserved a room with 2 beds and they moved us to one with one bed! Also the hotel they moved us to did not have free breakfast
