The room and the things inside(toilet) were old and the place was in an extremely inconvenient area to move around.
Amazing hotel!! Will be back in future
コンビニが無くてそれが残念でした
The area was very nice, hotel was very clean and food was great
Very nice decorated hotel, spacious room with great ocean view, Japanese robe and a tasty cake provided. Friendly staff. The location is a little bit away from downtown but shuttle bus service was excellent.
Very nice and clean hotel.
No bars open until 6pm. Not good
The only thing missing in the shower was a bench because there are people who cannot stand for a long time to bathe
Everything pretty good just cou0le details in cleanings and A/C issues but the rest good..
Big room, nice view, enjoyed the art pieces at the lobby, free shuttle to JR station
Very conveniently located. The Asia Trade Center with lot of dining facilities is 3 minutes walking. Subway also was very close. Nice open location. Staff was very helpful and courteous.
Excellent lounge
It was very good. We stay in level 26 and enjoy the lounge service
The staff were top tier at this hotel, so attentive and so helpful! Gorgeous hotel and right near a train station! Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Little out of the main city but worth it for us!
Excellent
Excellent Service. Dated Interiors. (Place is stuck in the early 2000s with elements of the 1980s.) But they keep then place SPOTLESS. Pretty far out of the way. You’re gonna need a few transfers to get where you wanna go. (But there are shuttles to take you to Osaka Station! ) Service: A Interior / Vibe: C Cleanliness: A Transport: B
Do not book this hotel or it’s sister hotel Prince hotel kyoto if you want a Japanese experience the hotels are seriously outdated and you can’t book into a Japanese restaurant for love or money it’s either reservations only or not open
Transportation is a hassle. Only real way into the city is by subway. Taxi cost is ridiculous in Japan, so if you are planning on enjoying some night life - do not stay here. Overall clean and comfortable. highly recommended.
I checked in closer to midnight and the staff were very nice. I ordered room service twice and both times they came in a timely manner. The food was good too. They have hotel activities you can sign up for and a shuttle to and from the Osaka station. My room was good and had a great view. Will stay here again.
Great Stay in Osaka
Stayed for a total of five nights. The hotel is really nice and the staff is very helpful. Buffet breakfast is definitely worth the cost. The hotel will no longer be a Hyatt after July of 2023.
This hotel has the most spaciest rooms of all the hotels I stayed in Japan. The premise is very clean and Eco-oriented. The breakfast buffet is the best. Since the hotel is further away from the Osaka down town, late night room service menu needs to have more options, but this will not diminish my overall rating.
The staff does try hard to provide good service - that's the part we like. The part that is inconvenient is that they require hotel guests to get a token from bell desk in order to get on the shuttle to JR OSAKA. Additionally, they require you to make reservation first - that's inconvenient. Another thing we don't like is that we have to use taxi or public transportation to get to the hotel from Kansai airport after 5pm because the direct bus stops at 5pm.
The staff at this hotel are friendly and work hard to ensure the guests have what they need. The hotel is kept clean and in good repair. This was our favourite hotel (out of 6) in Japan.
This was the absolute perfect place for us to stay while in town for a show at the Intex Center. Friendly staff, great breafast buffet, and so close to the convention center!
The hotel location is not too far from Universal Studios Japan.
The architecture and the view was nice
Amazing stay!!!
Everything was superb
Amazing garden rooftop pool for the family and for kids . All kinds of floats provided . Great service and warmth across the hotel at every point . Great weekend events like caricature , sunset viewing on the hotels roof , and bread making .
Great stay at the Hyatt
Price was reasonable and the fitness facilities were open as well as the executive lounge services. The lounge itself was closed but one of the restaurants was offering the same service so really enjoyed the stay.
It is a huge hotel, with a lot of floor and space, the room is good and I stayed for a week.. The staff are so kind, helpful and solve some problems while the coronavirus they did a great job. I will stay there hotel again in the future.
As a result of the continuing effects of COVID 19 the hotel seemed very understaffed. Only a single front desk agent was present at any time causing some delays. The restaurant was in a worse state. Long waits for food and drink during the breakfast. However the room service was prompt and delicious and the food overall was quite good. As for the property itself, the rooms where large and spacious with great amenities. The outdoor pool was a wonderful treat for the family! Overall we had a very pleasing stay.
everything is absolutely perfect.our room is so clean and quiet that we were able to spend comfortably. i wanna stay again.
Hyatt Regency in Osaka is an amazing hotel. The service is great and the location fantastic.the restaurants are also very very good. If you eat at the Italian restaurant, the pizzas and the strawberry cassata are a must.
Good. But the pillow is not that comfortable. Also is a bit too far from the CBD
The Hyatt Regency Osaka was generally nice (clean, decent restaurant) but I would say it is slightly below my expectations for Hyatt Regency as a brand.
For conference good - rooms need upgrade
Stayed here for exhibition next store. Very convenient for this purpose. The hotel rooms are large, but have been built a long time ago and do not offer the warm welcoming and comfortable feeling often seen in other Hyatt Regency properties I have experienced. Comforter on bed was thin. Needs upgrade. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Price high for Osaka area, but once again very convenient if attending an event at Conference center.
Lovely spacious hotel rooms with a pool. It is near the port on the route if the New Tram but they also have a shuttle bus to/from Osaka station every 30 mins - pick up a token from the desk to get you on from the hotel to city. No need for a token on the way back. Nice indoor pool. It was opposite a convention centre
So great
it was amazing so nice~ great
Osaka
Very short but enjoyable. Staff were excellent.
Very clean and helpful staffs.very good breakfast with lots of choices.
Noisy in the morning and need to improve English
1) door man (handling bus to KIX) can not speak English 2) No pre-sell of KIX bus ticket allowed, which can be easily solved to make guests more convenient in planning 3) noisy from the upper floor from 7am
Great hotel- lived the fitness center and spa. Only issue is distance from train station. The hotel had a shuttle bus every half hour which helped very much.
After Booking I looked at the reviews and realised most were negative was really worried. The Honest truth is this Hotel is amazing I don't know what others expect but I am a fussy person especially when it comes to cleanliness. the Hotel room was massive so clean, beds were conferrable and staff were amazingly friendly. The hotel Facilities were great and was so easy to get to everything via shuttle. 100% one of the best hotels I have been to.
Property is convenient due to shuttle bus heading to osaka station and airport limousine bus is just right outside the doors.
Amazing Asia
Like everywhere in Asia, this hotel had restaurant hours that ended early. Bar closed at 10;30, but kindly barkeepers said as long as others were there, we could join for a last call. But, that's Asia. It was Cherry Blossom time and all was magic in the city - locals were happy to see tourists enjoying their beautiful city and tourists thrilled with Mother Nature's Display.
Great location and good transportation to Osaka Station. Improve food variety in Club Lounge.
staff horrible - rooms mediocre - energy low - when we asked for help - not very receptive
the quality of the slippers in the room are getting not as good as below. one of the pair are broken.
Location nearby port terminals. Spa is wonderful Breakfast buffet is value for money
Classy Hotel next to Intex Osaka Exhibition Site
Stayed on business but the hote was very nice with all the staff going out of their way to be helpful. This is definitely the best place to stay if you are attending the Intex Osaka Exhibition center.
Ok..far from downtown nothing much around and have to take shuttle every time
Classic Luxury Hotel with helpful staff
It is a classic luxury hotel, with nice gym, indoor swimming pool, etc. Breakfast is also great. It is not close to the Town Centre, but it is not a problem if you have a car. They also offer shuttle bus service to Osaka station. The crab buffet is very good to try. Every Wed and Thu are "Ladies Night", drinks are unlimited.
Happy in Osaka
the facility is excellent and very good service. Location however is so isolated. There is a bus to the train station and down town but its a fairly long ride.
The rooms were extremely spacious and comfortable. I had an amazing view and near various restaurants.
Friendly staff. Very nice hotel. Enjoyed the free shuttle bus service provided by the hotel.
Rooms are not that clean
the bathroom smelled of toilet, we were too tired to request a change and slept in.
I booked one room sleeps 2, but eventually charged me 1 extra person 3000 yen per night.
Room carpet is dirty. The room is 'empty' & the bed is very uncomfortable with very thin comforter for the winter & very flat pillows. There's no extra pillows in the room. For the price I would expect a clean room.
The shuttle bus service runs every 30 minutes only. And they provide such a tiny bus, we actually had to miss a scheduled timing because the bus was full. Located at such an isolated area, one would expect the mall to provide a 24hrs convenient store. But their store opens till 10pm only.
The staff are incredibly helpful. The shuttle service is great for both universal studios and Osaka station. Hotel is close the Osaka metro and a shopping mall.
no vegetarian dishes.otherwise great.sparkly clean.
Good hotel shuttle service, and the bell attandant are really helpful.
Hotel staff and room made up for less than perfect position ,but, position was our mistake and was compensated with a half hour bus service to centre of town Brian
Staff were amazing, free upgrade to king room. Clean, however quite dated. Carpets definitely in need of a good cleaning a lot of stains. Breakfast excellent, great assortment of food available.
Very verypleasant staff. Most helpful at check in and at concierge desk.
Room not ready
We paid for an expensive room with club access but had to wait for one hour after the agreed normal check in time as the room was not ready. After a long flight from Europe this was a bad start to our experience. We were not offered anything to make it better
Tranquil hotel tucked away from the city area
Hotel is situated away from the bust in the city. An excellent place to stay if you value a quiet place to rest. The hotel provides half hourly bus ride to town. I also like that the hotel is close to Univeral Studio and the aquarium.
Beautiful Hotel, Staff could not be nicer or more accommodating.
Booked this hotel as it had an outdoor pool & we wanted to relax after 2 weeks travelling in Japan, before flying home. When we checked in we found out the outside pool was closed, this was not stated on their website. Very disappointed.
Nice hotel, walkable to train station. Room was a little out dated and bed was a little too firm for me. But the staff are amazing. So nice and helpful, always smiling and quick with their service.
likely a new grand high-performance hotel
most part of it were excellent. better to redecorate after some part of washroom.
Luxurious hotel in Osaka Bay Area
This is a luxurious hotel in Osaka Bay Area at a reasonable price. I stayed at this hotel twice. This time the room was upgraded to a corner deluxe room, which provides a great super-wide view of the ocean front and the room is as big as 80sqm. The room and bed are clean and comfortable. The bath room is gorgeous and romantic with the superb view. The staff are friendly and very polite. So everything is wonderful. I only wish the wood floor would get renovated since it’s a bit scratched due to years of services. I will definitely come back again.
This hotel was great. I had a lot of questions leading up to our trip to Japan and the concierge staff was quick to respond to all my inquiries with complete options. Upon arrival, we were greeted by multiple staff members who provided exceptional help and assistance with us getting settled in. The staff was wonderful, the amenities are amazing, most of the staff speak relatively good English, and the facility is immaculate. Highly recommend staying here. Just be prepared for your schedule as it is far away from major rail stations.
Far away location and inadequate service support
Far away from city, 30min by hotel bus. Long line at breakfast and staff removed my plates before I finished. Hotel seems not prepared for good service.
Hyatt Regency in Osaka Stay
Hotel breakfast was very good and reasonable other meals were very expensive and surrounding area had few other choices.
Osaka winner
the physical facility was great, as expected from Hyatt. Every member of the staff was well trained and performed perfectly The bus to and from the Osaka Station more than compensated for the location away from the hustle and bustle.
Good spot
Good hotel in a good location , although it is in an industrial district . It’s not far from the airport, Osaka station and the staff are very good. Gym and Soa are excellent
We booked early to attend a trade show. Soon after the rates went higher (as expected). Plan ahead, book early and you will have the best value as this hotel is great.
All facilities and restaurants all old ,but some staffs are not bad.here is not five stars hotel, Do not be looking forward to expect special service.
Real nice hotel and helpful staffs.
We had a great time at Hyatt Regency Osaka for 6 days. Feel most comfortable and relaxing. Staffs are so impressive and most helpfull. We asked them every day for our visiting places and transportations. Most appreciatiation to a girl staff who always cared for us though I forgot her name. Over all we are very happy with everything. Recommend to people who love peaceful place as the hotel is quite further from Osaka Station but they provide shuttles bus.... We still love that.
It is not worthy of the star and price
Our flight was very late, arriving at the hotel around 03:00. After checking in, we found that the cabinet draw was broken and hidden with a dirty towel!! We were SURPRISED so much and called for changing a room. We waited at least 15 minutes until we were led to the new room. The room was old and the blanket was dotted with unknown colors.
Room very dusty, i dont think they vacuum the carpet regularly.
Excellent hotel
Had an excellent stay. The facilities were excellent, the staff were very accomodating and helpful. Restaurants all 5 start quality (loved the crab- o-licious buffet!). Room was comfortable and the service was impeccable. 5 min walk to train station if you wants to go to Nara or Universal City.
25 minutes away from downtown
If you’re looking for a hotel nroom ar the docks and theme parks this should work. They have a convenient shuttle every 30 minutes to/from downtown station. Room was filthy. The floor in a subway was literally cleaner than the rug in our two rooms.
Great place to stay
Shuttle bus to and from Universal Studios and city is an excellent service. Little shopping centre across the road with quick public transport to anywhere. We will stay here again if we come to Osaka in future
All good but the location that a bit away from the city centre.
Out in the middle of nowhere. Amaturish spa. Wouldn’t accept my visa. Poor cigar selections and rigid schedule.
Gorgeous hotel with gorgeous view
View from the top floor is gorgeous and romantic for couples. There are so many choices for dining. Hotel staff are all so friendly and nice. Free lounge drinks are so hospitable. A little far from Osaka downtown but in return it’s in quiet location at a reasonable rate as a 5-star hotel. Overall it’s a great experience.
housekeeping
Strange that housekeeper does not remove or throw away the coffee wrapper I left behind... do they need permission?
A dirty ripoff hotel, stay away
Pleae see the email I sent to the hotel 13/oct:2017: Dear Sir/Madam, I am extremely astonished by your response to the complaint I have raised up to hotels.com on Monday 9th October. I have stayed at your hotel from 3rd to 6th October. The condition of the room I stays is totally unacceptable. Dust on the bedside tables and desk, disgusting stains on the carpet, even worse a dirty cleaning cloth was lying in the sink. I can’t express further how Disappointed I were. Today, Someone from the hotel rang me and declared you didn’t receive any complaint, I were surprised to hear your comment to the complain, no apology just excuse. Please have a look the photos, the reality was much worse than these. Is this you would pay to stay at a hotel!! Hereby, I ask for the full refund.
Nice Hotel away from city center
Very good property with great restaurants and amenities. However, this is 30 minutes from Osaka Station. Hotel does have a drop off every 30 minutes.
Nice hotel. Carpet needs cleaning
Very nice hotel. Only issue is the carpet was dirty and stained and looked like what you would find at am old model. this was the case for the 5 rooms we booked. the neighborhood was so industrial and pretty dead. Hotel is 45 minutes from the airport. Close to the port. and close to what looks like a shipping mall that is either deserted or going out of business.
Great if you have business in the vicinity b
Hotel in Quiet Area
The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to and from the Osaka Station. The ride is about 25 minutes long. The ATC shopping mall near the hotel offers a variety of restaurants and retail shops. Otherwise the surrounding area is quiet, unlike the Osaka Station area. There were some stains on the carpet in our room.
Outstanding first class hotel with an incredible top rate staff!
Excellent customer service. This hotel was more then we could ask for.
Very good hotel, just a bit far from city cenre
30min away from the city centre (Shinsaibashi) by subway, and 7min walk from the nearest subway station. The facilities are all good, large gym room and nice swimming pool with Jacuzzi. The lounge on the top floor offers very good nightview, good for drinks. A large mall is nearby where you can find various types of restaurants. Good value for money if you don't mind it's far
Great stat
Great service, shout out to the people managing the shuttle services and bell desk! Thanks for being proactive and courteous!
for business it's an ideal place
excellent
Everything was far from property. Had to travel over 30 min to just to get food.
