Best view ever for the pyramids of Giza , the staff so friendly and helpful, breakfast is very good and tasty , sound and light show is wonderful from the rooftop The tickets office just 50 M from the hotel but we prefer to explore Cairo with hotel , they provide us with super tour guide Mo and Excellent driver Hamada Highly recommended.

One week before my check-in I was in Cairo already and visited the hotel to see the accommodations. I was told by the manager that I could not see because there was no rooms available to show. I reinforced that I had a reservation for the next week and would be there late. He said that was ok and I would have my room ready when. Guess what? I got there on my day of check in 2am and they told me they have no rooms available, even tough I have a paid reservation, and I should cancel my reservation and find another hotel at 2 in the morning. Are you going to take a risk? I would not.

The staff was very nice and helpful, food was available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, cleaned our rooms very fast, drivers and tour guides were available at the hotel as well. Entrance to the pyramids is right across the street from the hotel, and a beautiful rooftop view of the pyramids and sphinx, I would recommend this hotel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the roof top view is good. However this Inn would be more suitable for backpackers or young solo travellers. If you are an older couple looking for space and comfort after a long hot day sightseeing perhaps this is not the place for you.

great location near the pyramids. rooms are ok. Get the room on the top floor if possible. A little more money but a 24 hour view of the pyramids

Felt very unsafe.

This place made me very uncomfortable the owner called me an inappropriate name and followed me down to my room when I asked him not to. I left 2 hours after checking in even though i paid for 2 nights. I did not feel safe.

The view from the terrace was spectacular, the best view ever of the Pyramids. Breakfast was simply amazing, it was set menu but with many choices that I was not able to finihs. The location could not be better.

The view from the terrace was very nice and the breakfast was okay. Although the room was very dirty, it looked like they haven't vacuumed in months and there was a brown stain in the bed. Half of the staff don't speak English and as soon as we arrived they tried to sell us their very expensive day trips which you can find anywhere else for half price.

The location was ideal for visiting the pyramids and seeing the sound and light for free from the terrace! - The room was spacious and very comfortable. Shower was hot and with pressure.The team were incredibly helpful in making my first trip to Egypt fulfilling. - good value for money.

We would highly recommend staying at Golden Pyramids Inn. It is hard to describe all the positives but we will highlight the key. 1. Amazing location - rooms facing pyramids are literally overlooking Sphinx & Pyramids and allow for private enjoyment in the morning (where there is still no crowds) and in the evenings (to watch the Light & Sound show and see pyramids lit up in color) 2. Amazing attentive, personal service - Mahmoud as an operations coordinator will arrange everything for you (tours, transportation, shopping), fully customized, hassle free and at good price, He is very responsive and fast; Ahmed at the rooftop is just an amazing, warm, and kind person - it was like visiting with family - he will always greet you will a big smile and can arrange for you the best view in the house (and a bottle of Egyptian wine)!; and Breakfast is a feast - definitely great value for money 4. Clean, safe, friendly, convenient and hassle free and free wifi every where - all that you may want from your stay in Giza. We will definitely be back.

The owner of this hotel is very, very shady. He will con you into buying his very disappointing trips with expensive guides who will rush you through trips and who don’t possess much knowledge in the areas toured. If he says he is “helping” you, you should run. Also, this same owner banged on my door for 30 minutes straight when he was upset about my complaint. I was afraid to come out, but eventually I had packed all my things and ran out to go to another hotel. The rooftop view is absolutely great, but this is not a safe hotel for anyone really, but especially for foreigners.

Excellent view friendly staff breakfast needs work

The hotel has a good location with regards to Pyramids and Phynx. Friendly staff as far as they speak a foreign language. Only the chefs do so. They are ready to help and to inform however the result is not always positiv. A ordered meal. It came after 2 hours and cold! However the grats airport pickup worked brillant. Klaus und Dunja.

The only valuable thing about this ''hotel'' is a terace from photo they show in each their advertisment. It is a breakfast place.They invested money to turn the house into the hotel. For Egyptian conditions, it was note small amount, but conditions in what they are keeping their ''hotel'' is not appropriate. Room was not so clean and floor was not vacuumed well . However, this wasnt a big problem and we wouldnt comment it if toilet was fine, but it wasnt. It was too small and not clean. Lot of calc everywere. With rference to their photo of breakfast... forget it. They are serving some bread, bit of cheese, one egg, bit of yogurt and bit of juice. That's all. Overall, better accommodation could be found for less money.

we loved our stay here. Everyone in the management was super friendly and helpful. Specially Mahmoud, the owner of the hotel was very helpful and went out of the way to help us with our tours in Aswan and Luxor and Cairo. Would definitely come back for another visit here.

The hotel is very close to Pyramids. And you can see good night view on the rooftop of hotel. They even serve a free pickup shuttle which is super good. I recommend you people to book this hostel. Enjoy your day here.

J ai repayé l hotel car ils considèrent que expedia ne paye pas assez . Je demande donc le remboursement de mon logement du 6 au 11 février . Je tiens à votre disposition la facture de l hotel . Une touriste a eu la même mésaventure la même semaine .

Nous souhaitons remercier Mohamed le manager de l’hôtel ainsi que toute son équipe qui nous ont très bien reçu et qui nous ont accompagné tout au long de notre voyage en Egypte. Ils sont très accueillant, accessible et bienveillant, merci à eux. Mohamed est au top ! il a organisé toutes nos activités afin d’optimiser au mieux notre temps, notre argent et profiter au maximum du pays. Merci également à Ahmada qui nous a accompagné et conduit lors de toutes nos activités. Grâce à lui nous avons pu parcourir le pays et développer notre culture. Je recommande les yeux fermés cette équipe qui est exceptionnelle ainsi que l’hôtel goldens pyramids inn qui bénéficie d’une vue panoramique a couper le souffle en face des pyramide depuis le rooftop. Lugar horrível

Fuja daqui. O dono e o gerente fazem assédio moral para receber mais dinheiro. Reservei um quarto com vista para as pirâmides mas exigiram 100 dólares pra fica no quarto. Como não paguei, me mudaram de quarto pra um inferior para as outras noites (se não concordasse, eles me colocariam pra fora do hotel e isso falado aos berros). Restaurante caríssimo: água 1 dólar, sanduíche 6 dólares. Fora do hotel tudo é 1/4 do valor. Passeios caríssimos (não aceitei). E o pior: recebi um e-mail dizendo que o pick up ou drop off seriam cortesia caso tivesse 3 noites ou mais reservadas. Nada disso: me cobraram 21 dólares. Staff intimidadora, ameaçadora e descortês (exceção: as senhoras do café da manhã). Nunca mais ponho os meus pés la e contra indico a todos.

Very noisy place

I booked this hotel because of the good reviews and the price. This hotel is EXTREMELY noisy. Noise from both outside, which you cannot do so much about, but also from inside which is the part I can't justify. The workers of the place were making extreme noises such as hammering at 22:00 and playing loud music way past sleeping time. The neighborhood is also full of stray dogs that bark constantly in the night. It was imposible to sleep and rest in this place. The room condition is, let's say, ready to be demolished. The toilets work if you know how to fix them, the shower leaks. Bring an extender cord to have enough electricity outlets. They tried to push and press us to buy tours from them and wouldnt take no for an answer. I felt uncomfortable here during all my stay. Also the internet was extremely crappy, it was like trying to surf in the 90's with a telephone modem. I felt trapped here without proper internet and with noise ALL THE TIME. The only good thing about this place is the view of the pyramids. They changed our room 2 days in of the 4 days we were staying, I don't know why, to a room that had no air conditioning. So there we were with no internet and no air conditioning with an outside temperature of 30 degrees. We had to press to get another room with air conditioning... And in the end when we left they demanded a tip for all the "help" we got...

Wonderful stay

What an amazing place! The roof top is just incredible and the allows you to enjoy the view on the Pyramids and the Sphynx. You can even attend the night show (7pm) from the hotel. We had a heartwarming welcome by the staff. They were really keen to help us. We advice you to take a tour to visit the neighbourhood (and the Pyramids!) and the hotel staff will support you for that with a very high quality service.

Veldig bra hotel med gå avstand nær pyramidene (Giza) de ansatte er veldig serviceinnstilte og gjør alt for å hjelpe gjestene sine. Anbefales på det sterkeste om man skal besøke pyramidene i Egypt .
