The rooms are substandard. It should not be rated 5 Star. It is misleading. The washrooms are equally disastrous. Very bad. They do not even have proper cutlery and serve in plastic plates and glasses.

Bed condition is not good, doing much sound, bed hight is very low, tv of room 808 is not having essential entertainment channel & there is no tv guide of channels was available in the room. To many mosquitos in the room 808 and house keeping not leased bother to do hit spray, only provided good night rippler after to much follow up. Length of jet spray is short of commod. Water pressure in bath tub is very low in 808 room. Hotel provided call centre mobile numbers on website is pathetic, one is continuously switched off & another is no answer. No landline number of hotel is on website.

The club room on the 5th floor are nicer, try to ask for those. The breakfast had plenty of choices including an amazing dosa station. The staff are attentive and courteous. I would recommend staying here if you are in Jaipur.

Although classified as a. 4 or 5 star property, nothing at this property matches those standards, including service, ambience, facilities and rooms. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an experience of that standard. My experience was so terrible that I checked out mid trip and moved into another hotel.

Scammer

Good for an emergency and medium budget

Several things upset us. One was the the minibar was totally empty. Later I was told that they fill it only if we ask. Another was that there was no single stitch of paper in the room that told us of the services or the in-room service menu or the phone numbers. I had to go down to ask for the menu. The food that I ordered, soup, salad and ham sandwich were not befitting such a hotel. Then most importantly, the windows were not sound proof and we were disturbed well beyond midnight by the music that was being played downstairs. The buffet breakfast was very mediocre The best part was that the people at the reception and others were most friendly and the location close to airport and town was convenient. Given that, I think that this has every chance of becoming a great hotel if they look into the negatives that I have mentioned.

Too expensive for the 3-star rooms, somewhat compensated by the spacious, well-manicured lawns and pool. The cafeteria is all-Indian cuisine, over-priced/spiced, and the other restaurant (Zoolocruise) is extremely expensive with no Western-style food. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Don't try to walk anywhere outside the premises as you will be accosted immediately by extremely aggressive Tuk-Tuk drivers, as well as strong Outhouse-fragrances.

This is an OK place for the business traveller like me, who knows he's gonna just be getting back totally bushed at the end of a long tiring day and just crash out. If there's any expectation from a standard of service or trappings of comfort for a relaxed stay, you're best advised to avoid this place by a mile. A dump with a comfy bed at best. In summary, terribly mediocre breakfast buffet, pathetic amenities, awful service. To be fair though, it's priced at a 40% discount to its contemporaries. So if you are willing to overlook shoddy service and poor F&B, you're good to book here. - Subin Balakrishnan

Nice hotel close to airport and quiet

Nice hotel, roof top open terrace bar and restaurant, good breakfast options including Indian masala tea (which is often missing in 5 star hotels), 5 mins drive from airport, 2 mins drive from malviya nagar modern shopping area and Enterntainment Paradise. Bit far from old city but I didn't want to stay in noisy old city anyway.

Shockingly bad, not worth more than 2*

No hot water poor service and slack attitude. Lower rooms ancient. Was on the 6 th floor and they started moving furniture on the 8th floor restaurant from 2-3 am! In the morning there was no hot water in the shower. Ordered room service and was served shabbily and without a dinner plate! So are off bowls as they take 15 minutes to respond. Really sad as used to be a good hotel.

Superb hotel owners and great staff.

The owners of this hotel are amazingly gracious. They love animals which is apparent throughout the hotel through prints and other art work. They also support local industries and have two very nice hotel shops. The rooms are spotless and comfortable.

Can be excellent hotel but needs better staff.

Rooms are comfortable with hotel being located in a nice location. The welcome experience was nice but after that services was sub par. It takes hotel upto 30 to 45 minute to fix non working things and that to after multiple calls. The staff in the night shift is not properly trained and don't have any idea on customer service. From hotel of such repute this is not acceptable. They will not be able to help you out if you need anything at odd hours. Nor the staff in the night and early morning are in sync with what are things planned in the hotel. I as a customer told them an event is schedule and I want to take part in it. They were not be able to assist to make the arrangements and informed that as management is not there they will not be able to take the booking at that time and I would have to visit front desk when they are there to make decision. Moreover if you keep a message with the front desk to ask their manager to call when they are in, please dont expect such a call as calls are not returned nor commitment are fulfilled as it has happened to me. I would like to say that I have seen other review similar to this but I thought it might have been a one time issue but I have to say now that I would have to agree with the bad review and they appear to be true.

Really a good hotel located in prime area of Jaipu

This hotel is extremely good....the whole staff from security guard to the manager takes good care of guest..the way they welcome u is really amazing...u feel special....they organised many activities like couple dance, games for children, candle light dinner, puppet show, free cookery classes by their chefs which we really enjoyed......buffet breakfast is really good....enjoyed two days stay in this hotel thoroughly...

Really poor service! The hotel staff is not hospitable and they took over 2 hours for check inn. Facilities are very poor, pool was super dirty and the hotel reall needs a makeover in management and property! I would not recommend this hotel at all!

We have stayed at other Clarks hotels in the past and had been satisfied with the quality, service, and other aspects of the hotels. However on this occasion we were disappointed to say the least. It does have one redeeming feature and that is its close proximity to the airport. There are other hotels nearby which can only be better than this one.

Shoddy maintenance

The hotel is very poorly maintained. Bathrooms leak, the phone handsets have old batteries which have leaked, nobody bothers changing them. The window grills have bird feathers stuck on them. Feels like you have checked into an ITDC hotel...for the price its a rip off. Never again, thank you.

Nice Hotel but not upto the standards!

A luxary hotel with a good interior in main lobby, but after that the rooms and the lobby are good but not upto the quality of a 4-5 star hotel . So for me it was a 3.5 star hotel.(main reason the interiors of the rooms)

Better service is required

Service part is very disappointing. The Management does not have any control over staff, no coordination between workers. Even they do not provide toileteries even after requests as if they provide us from their own pocket. May be these items pocketed by them. For my entire stay 5 days, they provided me 2 tooth brush, 3 soaps, etc, that too after request. No news paper one day even after the lapse was brought to the notice of Manager & reception lady. I feel the administration totally recognized my grivences, unfortunately my booking was for 5 days I became slave, fortunately my sixth day was very pleasant, since I shifted to neighboring hotel. Will the hotel management wii wake up now. Srinivas

Neat and functional hotel close to airport

Fairly clean and functional type of a place. Staff is quite warm and friendly. Gym and pool are pretty good though did not use the pool. Restaurant was good but a little pricey and could cost almost a grand for a decent meal for 1 person. Hotel has nice open green grounds where one can walk / exercise in fresh air. Room was fairly clean and housekeeping is decent. Air Conditioning in the room was a little noisy and not very effective and could be an issue in warmer seasons. I had to use the fan to keep the room from getting stuffy. Washroom was decent and clean. Hot water availability was an issue though I started getting some once I complained to the reception. Overall a resonable place for a short stay especially if you would like to be close to the airport or have some business / work in and around the hotel location. But I would explore perhaps a newer hotel next time to have a comaprison.

Lunch priorities

There was an issue faced by me for lunch on the 22nd. November instant at Durbar hall. The cost that was incurred by me for having eaten a nan, dhal and salad would well have been the same if I was permitted to have the buffet (with a better variety) which all guests are entitled to. I was told that due to a conference session in progress, any moment the delegates may come and therefore the buffet will be their prerogative. None of the deleagtes came so long as I was there. Perhaps in future with some other guest more diligence could be applied.

It's an old property that is placed near the airport, though it is accessible from city center without hassles. Staff is courteous but is a bit laid back. breakfast area is small. Rooms are neat and clean but many electrical fixtures may not be working and you have to ask the house keeping to sort it out. One of the restaurants ( Dholamaru) is really good. If like to check out at odd hours make sure you book your taxi in advance and keep on reminding the front desk about your plans otherwise you may miss your plane. I can stay in this property again, if required.

Will never go back to this hotel in life

It was highly dissatifying as the room was nothing like the one shown in picture it was not clean as some funny particle was their all over the floor. The bath tub was pathetic and all scratched up. Had to ask 5 times for the bathroom slippers. The manager the the restaurant where breakfast was served was very rude and should not be in hospitality industry. He sounded more like a bouncer than a host.

Nice hotel

Good ambience with a nice garden and swimming pool. Room service manager was quite ignorant about the dishes and served us vegetable corn soup instead of cream of vegetable soup that we asked for and insisted that it was cream of vegetable soup. The bathroom is designed for foreigners. Who takes a bath in a bathtub nowadays?

Not satisfied with the stay in Clarks Amer, Jaipur

The standard of the room I was staying in is not anywhere near international 4 star standard. No slippers were provided. The buffet breakfast was also not interesting though the pantry staff tried their best to manage the inconvenience. Cleanliness of the washroom is not maintained properly, for example, you can find the hairs of the previous occupant in and around the bath tub.
