Desperately wanted to love this place
First the pros: Incredibly clean, great shower with amazing water pressure and hot water, centrally located, helpful front desk staff, and comfortable beds (they are firm). The cons… the wifi is terrible in the rooms. Like, forget trying to plan your travels the next day from your room, because you can’t do it. You MUST go to the lobby. The room we stayed in was marketed for 3 people and though in theory, 3 people could sleep there, it must mean those people have NO luggage because of how tight it is. We struggled with just the 2 of us because there really is no place to put your suitcases. There’s also only 1 mirror and it’s in the bathroom (good luck if you’re short like me). Then the closet was actually impeded by the wall (see the photo). Having a kitchen and washing machine were great, but it really just made the space so much smaller. Lastly, our room was on the first floor but there’s still stairs you have to go up and down to get to the room; just one more thing that made the experience frustrating.
Great property. Highly recommend
Muy chico para 3 personas para 2 esta ok
Stayed for 5 nights over Christmas and the appt was great access to the Christmas markets, local dining and the old town. Hotel was clean, warm and pleasant. Only down side is using an app on your phone as a door key
Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast
Really convenient location.
This apartment/hotel was in a prime location. It was just 100 m from the subway station, 10 minutes walk from the Christmas market. Breakfast was adequate with a selection of cold cuts, assorted bread rolls, pretzels, cereal, yoghurt etc. Hot selections include fried eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages. Thecroom was serviced daily if you so desired this. It was handy having a washing machine in tge room. There were several dryers foc in a separate building for use. All in all, we were really pleased with this accommodation.
Good central location train & old Munich
Great stay at the Koos in Munich. We had a 3 bedroom with living area room for 5 adults which was enough space for us. It is located well, just a few minutes walk to the Karlsplatz and Munich hbf station, and to the Marienplatz area. The hop on hop off bus leaves from just down the street also. There is convenience type stores just down the street as well as coffee shops and fast food outlets. Would recommend for quick trip to Munich
We didn't know where to stay in Munich so this was chosen due to its description, location and cost. What a great find it was. The hotel was very clean, the staff really attentive and helpful and the location excellent, walkable to some fabulous areas. If we go back to Munich we would not hesitate to book here again. Highly recommended.
Recommended
good location, nice and perfect condition!
It was quiet inside but the surrounding area is a typical train station neighborhood—a bit noisy, dirty, and can feel a bit unsafe if you are a woman traveling alone. We were quite pleased with everything inside except for the WiFi, which was very unsteady and was often unusable even for basic web browsing.
Good location
Edge of core of town and footsteps to trains and busses. Good location but not on the far side of hotel. Staff is friendly and attentive. Hotel and towels smell a little like smoking but linens are clean.
We stayed in the room that allows 4 people. But the room is really really small, just enough to put in two double beds. Good thing is the room has a washer. I think it is convenient for those who don’t want to use hotel’s laundry service, which is usually very expensive. Need to be creative to dry the laundry after cleaning. Not many hangers and not much space in the room. Hotel location is great, walkable to downtown area, and close to tram and subway station. Staff are nice. Overall experience of my stay was good.
I loved specially the location! The room was very nice ! And the stuff very friendly
Looks hotel
The service and help desk is great!! Very friendly staff
Great value for price.
Great location. We were able to rent bicycles from KOOS to use for an entire day at a great price.
3 star rationg is being generous!
One of the bathrooms had a tub with no shower... they have a room for 4 people with one shower. Also they have a Washing machong and no dryer in unit... we had to go to another of their building for a dryer and after 3 hours the clothes were still Wet!! The Bar in lobby is very limited... this is barely a 3 start hotel
The staff was very helpful and got us all the extras we needed. Would stay again.
We had issues at check in getting the correct room we paid for, street below room very noisy, never received clean towels. I would never stay there again nor recommend
Family room has a lot of iseful devices in the kichin thats are so usefull to us
Wonderful location worth all the amendments travelers need (luggage storage, little kitchenette, microwave, washer..). It is also close to old town and walkable to the English Garden. The side street immediate next to the hotel is a bit questionable at night but the main streets are very safe. Overall we enjoyed our stays.
The space was very good for us with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The location was excellent, the rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was available and very good.
Solid hotel close to city center
Wonderful hotel very close to Munich old town, shopping, and dining. Room was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly, highly recommended!
We had paid in advance for this property and we did read that there was no refund if we ca cancelled. Unfortunately we had to cancel as we had a sick family member and could not go to Munich. I reached out to the hotel as did Expedia to see if they would give us a credit or partial credit and the hotel said no. Not a very flexible or customer oriented way to handle business.
Would use again
Well located. Clean Friendly staff.
Rooms were very cramped and not what was advertised in pictures. We couldn’t open the closet door all the way and no room for bags. I booked a room for 4 people and at checkout he said it was a three person room. Staff office was next to our room and door was open and closed all night long. Very small kitchen and the room smelled musty. We had to plea for a card key. The wifi was terrible and we weren’t able to unlock the room via our phones. On the bright side the location is great, the lobby is nice and they have a cute courtyard.
Romantic getaway
Amazing staff. Great location
Excellent location walkable to transportation, dining, and shopping. Clean and safe. Friendly staff.
This is a good apartment hotel in a great location but the bed arrangement we thought we were getting did not eventuate as we were given three singles instead of a double and a single. Otherwise fine.
Great location and awesome stay while visiting for Oktoberfest.
Close to Octoberfest. Clean and enough space in one bedroom plus for two couples.
Great place for many people.
Great choice for many people...close and walkable as well!
Good
The room was very small for a family of 4. We were there for a week and even when we asked it wasn't cleaned properly
Close to Marienplatz and subway station. Excellent staff, but I would like to thank Lucas in the reception who helped a lot.
Great apartments and very helpful stagf
People sleepingin our room when arrived!!!!!
We arrived at 10PM and were given a room with PEOPLE SLEEPING INSIDE!!! My 15 and 11 yr old daughters entered the room and there was people in it! After being assigned another room, we had to do our own beds, and even had to ask for bed sheets and pillows for our daughters since this new room had none. We were given the wrong sheets but by 12AM we went to bed the way we could. Next morning talked with staff, who couldn't believe what happened and told us the Manager will be let known and we will be given some sort of compensation. The manager never contacted us, still waiting for it. Compensation --> none. Don't go, they don't offer an acceptable nor even a reliable level of service. Too expensive for what you get, I am sure there will be many better options for the price we paid.
Location was great and staff very helpful
Great Location, Friendly Staff!
Great location, super friendly staff, and nice room! Thank you!
Overall a good place, however management is the weakest part of this property. General Manager is a racist, yelled at me publicly, called me also publicly a bazaar man and I am from Asia with Asian appearance. Calling people with my cultural background a bazaar man is very rude and not nice. It is the same when somebody threw a banana to Dani Alves on the pitch. Most of the staff had a huge ego and took the situation really personally not professionally as if I stayed at their private homes, not in a business. They showed the attitude, etc. However I think this is still management issues, not staff ones as they were not trained well. Some of the staff were just incredibly great with no personal attitude. Breakfasts were really generous though it is the same options every day. If staying more than 3-4 days it is difficult to get something different. Anyway breakfasts are better than in many other hotels around to my opinion. If I wouldn’t meet General Manager who is not professional enough to solve conflict situations (at least not on public) and escalates them on public I would have better impression of this place.
Nice facility but walk from train station though not too long was through a questionable neighborhood.
Easy check in, nice room, big bathroom, newly renovated, well isolated windows even though the streets below are busy. We didn’t hear a peep. In a part of town that’s a bit busy but is also easy to get to everything by foot. Would stay again.
The staff are friendly, and our room was newly renovated.
The property itself was lovely. the staff were very friendly and accomodating and the rooms were very modern, updated, clean and spacious. The surrounding area is somewhat dirty and noisy, however it is convenient to the train station, mass transit and walking to the central alt stadt.
Amazing front desk personnel, breakfast, location and lobby. About the room… I got a suite with two bedrooms because we were five. The day we arrived, we checked in early but the room wasn’t available. They kindly kept our luggage. When we got back (tired because we walked a lot) we checked in @8pm and proceeded to go to our room, when we opened the room, there was this terrible smell like sewage. We tried to get rid of it by opening the windows, I was too tired to change rooms but didn’t work. So I called Carlos (front desk) and even though I was tired, he asked me to go down to check another room available. When I went down, he told me that there was no room available (because of construction in the floor). He proceeded to come with me to my room and used an air refreshner and told me to flush the toilet 3 times. To be honest that UPSET me a lot because that sounded that they were AWARE of the smell issue so why would they offer a room like that? Or why they didn’t do it BEFORE I arrived? Anyway, the smell did go away or maybe I got use to it I don’t know, did I receive something in return for that stinky night? Mmm no, I didn’t, not even an apology from the manager. How much did I pay for 2 nights? $800. Also, the carpets are old and dirty. The extra beds offered were sofas with a blanket (terrible) The internet the worst so far in this Eurotrip. The only super good thing about this apart hotel is the location, it’s close to everything.
Friendly staff, up to date and modern rooms. You're right in the center of the city at a very affordable price. The only "downside" is that they didn't give use clean towels
Fantastic location, close proximity to parking garage, transportation, and city center! Nothing felt like it was a chore to walk to. Very nice spot!!
Right in the center of everything, may be why it was so noisy, couldn’t sleep for the sirens and traffic and people talking outside. Staff was very helpful but couldn’t get black coffee or tea restocked in room for some reason, had to keep asking for room service to bring it up, don’t know what was up with that. When I searched for places to stay I filtered in a pool, the website says pool available, we asked and was told the hotel has a deal with a gym and if you pay at this gym you can use the pool there.
Great spot for Oktoberfest
Leaky bathroom and broken televisions…
There was a leak in the bathroom ceiling and the two televisions did not work. Other then that the staff was nice and it was close to the party.
5 star service, checkin on tablet, luggage storage locker, walking distance to oktoberfest, marienplatz and Hauptbahnhof, Washer in Unit
Great property. Spacious rooms and pristine location. Can get anywhere quickly from this hotel's location. Staff was very friendly and professional at all times. I do recommend you do not come during non winter times. The AC does not suffice. I was here when it was 48F outside and the only way I was able to cool the room down below 70 degrees F was by opening the window and freezing at night. The staff send the technicians to my room twice but they never fixed the problem nor did they ask me if it was better. Also, there are no phones to call the front desk staff in the rooms. First time I ever see that in my life. Not a huge issue if you have no problems with the room. I don't mind freezing cold in the room with the window open because I can always throw on more clothes and make myself warm but for anyone that hates to feel warm at night, you have been warned. If you don't need to be cold at night then everything else in this hotel hits the mark.
The hotel is in a great location - walking distance to plenty of sites and also very close to the main train/bus station. Staff were friendly and responsive. The hotel was clean and as described.
Staff was helpful and willing to recommend sites to see.
Very convenient to train station and about a 10 minute walk to main Munich attractions. Very friendly staff and clean rooms. Would stay again.
Even with construction going on the hotel did a great job with visitors and maintaining the areas.
I liked that they had a small kitchenette and washer in the unit but the dryer was on a different floor and only open for a short period of time. The mattress was VERY uncomfortable. I was able to feel every spring digging into my back.
Very polite and good service. We were offered a room in a different building. Unfortunately, our room smelled bad. It seems to be an issue with the sewer under the kitchen sink and very hard to fix during our short stay. Keeping windows open all the time mitigated the issue, but the noise from the street was quite extensive during the night. The entrance to that building was in the middle of major construction. Some people hanging next to the door. We were somewhat concerned about it. There was a code lock for the outer door, for which we were not told what the code was. One of the construction site persons knew the code and helped us with it. The room (2 separate rooms) was actually very nice. I hope they can fix these issues and complete their construction quickly. After that, I'm sure it will be good to visit. The neighborhood itself was not our favorite, but it was just a matter of taste.
I would stay here again
Very close to Karlsplatz. Nice, large rooms.
Shower head broke first day of stay and was not repaired until day 3 despite promise it would be repaired. Another room, only to shower was offered but it was in use and dirty. complained and told it would be cleaned first evening but following morning it was still dirty. Finally cleaned but we had to go outdoors to enter room for two days. In second room Jack hammering starting at 8AM was in next door room, very loud and disruptive, Was quite disappointed
The unit was clean and comfortable though not particularly interesting. It certainly suited our needs (a family of 5) but wasn't necessarily a place we'd want to hang out which was fine as we were more interested in seeing the sights of Munich than hanging out in the unit. The lobby was comfortable and we were able stay there after check-out while we waited to head to the train station.
Location is good but management could be better
The check in process was extremely slow and the staff at the registration desk couldn’t even follow the rules of “first come, first serve.” There was an obvious lack of training, and the people at the front desk called the people behind us in the line to go up before us. When we finally got to the room, the first thing we saw was a huge stain on the mirror. But soon, we found that there was a far worse problem. The kitchen area was INFESTED with fruit flies and regular flies. We spent the next 3 days trying to kill them off. Another odd thing we noticed was that there were only 2 beds while we had reserved a room for 3. When we called the front desk, they brought us some covers and told us to prepare the sofa bed ourselves. And instead of giving us a da bedsheet/ mattress cover, they gave us 2 duvet covers and we ended up having to wrap the sofa mattress using a duvet cover. At breakfast, the staff also suspiciously questioned us as to why we had three people instead of two even though we had registered three people on hotels.com. On the 2nd day, right when we were about to leave the hotel, we discovered that our sneakers were soaking wet! We soon discovered that this was because of the leaking AC. The AC was also broken for the following 2 days. On the 3rd day, we discovered a person hungover in front of the elevator! It was right under the surveillance camera but no one even bothered to check until we told them about it.
I liked the location of this property, it was walking distance to Marieplatz and there were a variety of shops and easy access to train. Also the front desk staff were very friendly and professional I was traveling with my family and we just found the apartment to be dusty and not very clean. Another concern was the open access to the apartments by people who were not staying there. I would constantly see suspicious people entering from the tunnel where the construction was. I would skip this property next time.
The property was located on the edge of the old town ring. The area was quite busy but convenient for getting around Munich. Due to a renovation at the property, we were not given the 2-bedroom apartment that we had booked when we arrived because there was no air conditioning in the apartment. We were offered 3 individual rooms. This was a big disappointment because we had purposely booked this hotel for an apartment experience and would have booked a different hotel had we known in advance. The rooms themselves were fine, just not what we wanted. We appreciated having air conditioning as it was quite hot but advance notice about the hotel renovation and its possible implications would have been appreciated so that we could have altered or travel plans
Staff was great, cleanliness and walking distance to Munich attractions.
Loved having a washing machine in the room!!
Great location, 10 min walk to Marienplatz. Our room was clean and nice and had all the things we needed for our stay. Very confortable beds
Great Location!
This hotel is in the perfect location! Extremely friendly staff, has a wonderful breakfast option, and is super accessible by public transportation.
The property was very central and within easy walking distance of the city centre and old town. The restaurant was only open 11.30am to 15.30pm daily and didn't serve evening meals, which wasn't clear from their website. There was some noise from construction work outside our room which started early in the morning. The room was fine though and we also had a little kitchen.
Disappointed stay
I am very disappointed with this hotel… Localisation is perfect… breakfast was very tasty.. this is clean hotel but my room was really disappointing… there was funny shapes was difficult to move in this room and there was no bedside table… hmmm small thing but really uncomfortable… when I went down to try change my room service was very bad …Staff in the reception was not understand English and he call to some Anna and she was very rude to me She said if I don’t like it I could pack my luggage and change my hotel I don’t think that I heard something like that in any country I visit…. I could not sleep because of the road traffic… I am really disappointed because for 4 star hotel I could expect more …
Muy buena atención !! Excelente ubicación !! Cerca de la estación central y del centro de la ciudad. Santiago nos ha atendido de maravilla al check in y nos a dado unos excelentes ideas de que hacer y donde comer en la ciudad !!
Conciere were very helpful, polite and communicated well in multiple languages
Perfect for a family with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths
Perfect place for a group/family to stay. Close enough to train station to walk, underground even closer. The second bedroom was very tiny (only a single) but that was ok for our group. The lobby was nice and members of our group enjoyed a drink there. I would definitely stay here again.
Checkin took like half an hour! Too slow
Great location
They have a great breakfast buffet and even will cook eggs to order. Room was spacious. Bed was very firm, if you like that kind of thing. They even offer a 3 Euro voucher for bar(yes enough for one small beer;) when you don’t need room service. Desk and front door don’t open until 7, so when we left at 5:30 we had to go out the back. Overall a great place to stay. Near Karlsplatz sbahn, euro store(aka dollar store) and market with a few blocks.
Amazing stay
Amazing location. Kitchen area was an added bonus and very clever use of space however, would have liked a toaster for breakfast. Clean and facilities amazing. Personal preference the bed was a bit on the hard side for me and did give me a bad back so only thing I would have liked is a softer mattress but as stated this is personal preference so it is impossible to cater for everyone and no fault of the hotel
pretty basic, not bad for the price, lack of a coffee maker ,lack of a fridge but overall not too bad, staff very friendly and helpful
Great hotel for a night. Extraordinary polite staff
Worst customer service in the history of a 4 star
Awful awful awful customer service. Was offered an upgrade days before arrival and accepted the offer. When I got to hotel said they didn’t have it and then tried to say it was my fault for ignoring a subsequent automated message. Was rude and abrasive and presumptions. He was the manager and could not stand to deal with him. Will never stay there again a bd would very much advise not to stay here unless out of desperation.
Not really a four star at all
Room for four is really room for three. The room was this weird alley facing a courtyard on the side of hotel and creepy at night.
Good Location, Helpful Staff, Needs more Comfort
Apartment hotel is in a good location. We found the bed and sofa bed to be quite uncomfortable. The bathroom was a good size and well appointed. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, which was great.
Would stay again
It’s a very nice hotel near to public transport and in a nice zone. Our room was a bit small, but the rest was very good.
Good
Lovely place, great location
The hotel is clean and well located. The free breakfast is varied and plentiful, and the staff friendly.
Love the lobby, room, breakfast
Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean and comfort. Located in convenient area. Will plan on staying here again.
Centrally located. Walkable to all the places and close to the subway. Room was nice and clean
Great apartment
The two bedrooms apartment is fantastic The hotel as a Restaurant and a great lobby It s well located in the city center close to coffee places, restaurants and public transportation. We will definitely stay there again
It's very clean
GREAT Customer Care
Unfortunately, We actually did not have the opportunity to stay at this location due to COVID-19 (we opted to cancel). However, Elisabeth was wonderful in assisting us through the process of a refund...it was very smooth and she was a joy to work with. We look forward to taking this trip next year and will definitley be reserving back at this location!!
Great location & large rooms
Great location. Nice large rooms that are good for families. Helpful to have washing machine as well. Was a little odd to be locked in between hours of 11pm and 8am due to not being staffed round the clock but it was okay.
bed a little uncomfortable, outer door to room wouldn't unlock had to get help from front desk, but they did help right away.
Close to Old City and train station Nice location
Clean hotel with some good facilities
Great location for visiting Munich, easy to get around. Nice clean room, washing machine was good but a dryìng rack would have been nice otherwise you have to trek down to the basement in another building to use the dryer. Beds were clean but very hard, was like sleeping on a board. Shower was good. Kitchen was barely functional, no freezer, no toaster, no coffee machine, no peeler or wine glasses ir grater so don't plan to make any fancy meals here. Didn't replenish instant coffee ir washing tablets so plan to bring or buy your own after the first day. Indian food downstairs was ok, not great. Staff were all fantastic and we were able to check in early as our eoom was ready. Also got 10% off parking across the street which was appreciated.
The position was excellent and close to the old town. The property was spacious, clean and well furnished. We were travelling with our kids and everyone enjoyed the apartment. I would highly recommend it.
Location is very convenient. Walking distance to city center. Free Wi-Fi VERY poor, you have to pay for high-speed internet, although stated otherwise. Staff very friendly and helpful. Size of the 2-room apartment was ok. Washing machine in the bathroom is a convenient extra, especially for longer stays. Be prepared to pay for anything extra you might need (help with the luggage costs 10euros). Overall good choice for the money we paid, given the X-mas period.
This property was in a great location and we could walk to everything as well as take the light rail or subway to get around. While the space was small, the 3 bedroom worked just fine for a family of 6. All of us agreed that we would stay their again.
Great location to get around München.
Immediate and courteous welcome on arrival. Very neat place; close to transport ie U-bahn, S-bahn, and Trams, you can visit any sight you prefer; walking distance to Alstadt and Hauptbahnhof; proximity to shops & outdoor eats; and quiet. Basic Wifi occasionally drops which was not good when you're booking a flight or checking maps and directions, hi-speed Wifi is at an additional cost. Generally, it was a good stay and ticks the budget, Wifi ought to be "best" at all times, no distinction between basic and hi-speed.
Close to everything!
