We loved the activities provided for the kids.
Our family had an absolutely unforgettable New Year’s Eve at the Cartoon Network Hotel, and I am beyond impressed! From the moment we arrived, everything was filled with fun, excitement, and warm hospitality. A special shoutout to Alex at the reception, who went above and beyond by upgrading our room to a Powerpuff Girls-themed suite — our girls couldn’t believe their eyes and were thrilled to stay in a room filled with their favorite characters! What truly made this stay extraordinary was the New Year celebration itself. The hotel organized non-stop, engaging events that kept our daughters happy, entertained, and fully involved throughout our stay. From interactive games to themed activities, it was clear that a lot of thought went into making the celebration fun for kids and families alike. Another unique touch was the "WOW" ticket that Alex gave me, which I could hand to any staff member who made a special impression. I gave mine to Thomas from security, who surprised us with authentic cartoon drawings and shared stories behind the scenes. His passion and kindness were truly remarkable. Honestly, I wish I could give WOW tickets to every single staff member at the hotel. Everyone contributed to creating a warm, friendly atmosphere that made us feel right at home. You’ve made this New Year celebration one to remember forever, and we can’t wait to visit again! Thank you, Cartoon Network Hotel, for giving our family such a magical start to the new year! 💖
Kids had fun for the most part. But pool was a big bummer. Too cold to really enjoy.
MOTEL NOT A HOTEL!!!
This property is called a hotel and it is NOT a hotel it is a MOTEL! We booked in winter and has to put coats on our kids to get them to the indoor pool. The hotel lobby is neat BUT the restaurant was never open, the staff weren’t there when we went to checkin, and the pictures are nicer than the actual place. I would not bother booking this motel in the winter time. There also was no microwave in the rooms and since we had to bring our own breakfast, it made it super tough to feed my family. I would not stay here again.
We like the games that they play with kids. Good room with cartoon theme, good heated pool , cleanliness's.
went for nye. crowded but as expected. missed the dj and number of activities this year but all and all my boys had a great time.
Enjoyed the family friendliness from staff and positive energy
Great place for kids to stay
Staff was friendly and helpful. We had a great two night stay! Thank you!
Easy to find it, no good for winter
Especial para niños y familias
My fiance and I our amazing trip
My fiance and i wanted to have a mini vacation and decided to go to Dutch winter wonderland and we always wanted to go to cartoon Network hotel and we had amazing time and enjoyed ourselves very much and the staff was very friendly and we will definitely be back one day thank you so much for your hospitality
Very nice area close to everything. Clean and good services for kids at night. The indoor poor water was too cold. The rooms were outside the Hotel.
Restaurant was only open for breakfast. Inside pool was small and you had to walk outside to get to it. Room had a smell to it and blind were not blackout so there was glare from the lights outside all night.
Hairs from a wig in my bed dust all over the walls we sneezed from the time we got there
I enjoyed my stay with my family.
Amazing staff and lots of fun for the kids! Will definitely stay again.
Great customer service. My kids loved it. Will return again sooon.
Different
The staff was very nicely but the hotel itself wasn’t what I was expecting, each room door is facing outside like a motel style of room, so it was freezing so I had to put a towel under the door to stop the breeze and the children went to the indoor pool but had to cross a field in the outside cold.
Good location
We stayed because we had tickets for Dutch Wonderland which wound up closing due to the weather. The indoor pool and poolside room were amazing!! The staff were nice. The property was well maintained. They were on top if the icey spots! My only complaint was the breakfast was terrible. I plan to come back in the summer and hope the food improves! This place has so much potential!
I will never go here again. I got all checked in then went to crawl in bed and there was literal poop stains on my fitted sheet. They were not hard water stains the difference was quite obvious. So i go to the front desk they give me a new room and a coupon for breakfast. Great, I am more than satisfied and very appreciative. I get to my room and check it out, no poop stains im thinking great! Then i lay down and realize my room is right under the/beside the stairs. ALL night long you could hear people tromping up and down the metal stairs. It was impossible to sleep. Then i go to get a shower in the morning, mold in the shower and questionable hairs on 2/3 towels left for customer use. Go to breakfast, there is no water in the water dispenser its compeletely empty, theres 3 pancakes, a handful of grapes, watery eggs and some meat choices. Meanwhile there is families coming in with kids to eat so who would want to get food when theres hungry kids there that im sure need it more. So needless to say breakfast was a bust and after a couple grapea i was on the way out and they tried to charge me for breakfast eventhough i gave them the coupon i got from the manager the night before before sitting down. I will never go here again and will not be recommending it to anyone who asks. This place had so much potential but it was downright disgusting.
Great stay!
My son and I loved it. Staff was EXTREMELY FRIENDLY. They were a tad bit short-staffed it seemed in the Cafe and it would've been great if the cafeteria was open later. But my son was entertained and we could walk right over to Dutch Wonderland. We had a blast!
Pretty much everything about the property, quiet clean and easy access to shopping and food. Most definitely we will recommend this place to friends and family.
Over all ok visit. Shower wouldn’t drain during a shower, the door had a horrible draft, cold air coming in making the heater turn on and off all night
The night stay was overall okay. The check in orocess went well and smooth. Room was okay. Just would suggest a microwave as we briught snacks and food we wanted to heat up, but the fridge was a good save for drinks. It was a bit noisey overnight as we heard people running and yelling down the sidewalk past our rooms at like 10-11p. We woke up to baby crying next door, but understand thats not something the hotel coukd control. Also the room was a bit pricey for one night stay!
Don’t recommend
Quite possibly the opposite of what they should be, the hotel is very dirty, it’s not even an actual hotel, it’s a Motel, the bathroom toilets wouldn’t flush, the room smelled, the carpet was disgusting and none of the outlets worked. It was not clean in general,
Kids loved it!
Only 1 night for a quick stop at Dutch Wonderland before heading to Hershey. Great for kids. Recommend bunk bed room for young kids.
The staff was very nice and the beds were very comfortable.
Poor customer service. Horrible buffet. Dirty rioms. Unresponsive house keeping.
Hotel
Hotel is right next to Dutch Wonderland so it’s con online r and we like the activities that they have. We was staying here hoping to enjoy the pool. The pool is not heated and super comd
Everything is alright
Breakfast buffet was adequate but would like to see more options
Thanksgiving Getaway
Really enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly. Facility & room was clean. Food was good. We arrived early (about 2 hours) & was able to check in & go to our room.
We could not sleep all night the heating system clicks every minute it was terrible
Property was nice. Has a lot of potential but I feel like it’s not up to the par they are going for. Definitely could be awesome. Something that was just annoying is the shower turn in and off is in the shower and you cannot access it unless you get in. This was difficult to help kids shower when I didnt necessarily want to get soaked. Not user friendly. My daughter enjoyed the stay, kid appropriate.
Kids
Great place to stay with kids!

Special moments
Came there to spend my daughter's 7th Birthday in eith her and my other children was a great idea they hsd gsmes snd fun activities fir the kids the while time we was there i think tyst was the best decision every i love it there
What a GREAT hotel! Couldn’t have asked for a better time. We will absolutely return.
Very clean and fun
The property has a unique and fun atmosphere, especially for fans of Cartoon Network, whether you're a kid or an adult. However, we did notice a few quirks during our stay that we hope can be improved upon. * The menu in both the kitchen and cafe was often lacking key ingredients, leaving some items unavailable despite the already limited options. * They were unable to store bags for guests before/after they checked out. A first for us. * The Bearista Cafe had inconsistent hours. During my last visit, it was a great spot to relax while the main kitchen was closed, but this time it seemed to align more closely with the kitchen's hours, which felt a bit odd. * Last November, there was a bartender for adults in the cafe, which added to the welcoming vibe. It would have been nice to see that again, though they did still have alcoholic beverages. These minor issues aside, the overall experience was still enjoyable!
Lots of things to do at hotel. Ceilings, walls and furniture were dirty.
Could stand some updating. Bathroom show rust spots.
In love with this place
room dirty including bathroom and bedding, not taken care of even after calling. 3 TV's in room none worked. Not fixed till next day. Charged for breakfast though never mentioned in amenities. People running around making noise at 3 in the morning. AWFUL
Bathroom was dirty and even after calling front desk it was never cleaned. 3 TVs in the room and none worked. Did not get there till next day to fix. people running around out side at 3 in the morning. Charged for breakfast even though not indicated in hotel amenities. Bedsheets were not clean. Ruined what could have been a wonderful weekend for my grandchildren.
I’m very mixed in my opinion of this property. First, they are only open from Thursday at 4pm to Monday starting in November. This was not at all communicated from the hotel. We arrived around 1 last Thursday and the property was vacant, no one at the reception desk and front doors were locked. We went across to the outlets and came back around 3:30 and they were open. Staff was friendly and helpful but it’s motel style with doors facing the outside. The put several of us checking in at the same time in the farthest possible rooms room, around back, facing the woods. Kind of odd, considering they have an inner courtyard facing the pool and fire pits which was not only nicer but exponentially safer. We requested a room change, which the staff was happy to accommodate. The hotel was cute, an arcade and some fun activities for kids. The indoor pool was clean, as were the grounds. As others mentioned the rooms are a bit rough, bright paint and murals slapped on a dated motel. The bed and sheets were clean which I suppose is the most important. Totally fine for 1 night as my son enjoyed it!
This is a motel not a hotel! You can hear everything going on in each room, the bath tub floor is black and dirty. I won’t come back here.
This was such a fun hotel. The food was reasonably priced and tasty. The rooms were colorful and the atmosphere was fun. Pool was a bit chilly but also fun.
The decor is very nice. However its a little deserted but i understand that it was thier off season so not too many people around.
I plan to go back
The hotel was nice. Just don’t come here expecting a Disney experience. I was expecting more interaction from the staff at check in to get my kids excited to be there, but they barely looked like they wanted to be there themselves. However the next day, the staff at breakfast, gift shop and the entertainment were great. We were only there 2 days and saw the same characters more than once and some not at all. Would have been nice to see more of a variety of characters. Room was clean-ish. We did have to go over some of the tables and counters with disinfecting wipes, but overall clean. My kids loved it so I am happy with the stay.
We didn't research it like we should have, so we didn't realize it was a motel-like layout, but as my husband put it, it was the nicest motel he has ever stayed in. My sons LOVED that there were TVs in their bunk beds and we liked that they had their own individual beds and also that it created a privacy wall for us. We think all hotels should have these bunk bed/kid-friendly options. Now my kids want to go back in the warmer weather to go to Dutch Wonderland and play in the outdoor water areas!
Everything was very clean and staff was friendly and helpful! Kiddie pool and hot tub entirely to small but I get it, it’s either a bigger big pool or smaller one! I look forward to visiting for the outdoor pool! Very cozy outside activities and lounging with fire pits and chairs
I love how the rooms look. Very nice, clean and colorful.
The concept is amazing, the activities and character theme rooms are awesome. However, the rooms are small, room fixtures such as drawers, shower curtains, dressers and heating systems are very cheap and flimsy. Towels were not cleaned properly. Overall the stay was ok.
Very friendly staff, and lots of activities for the kids!
The Cartoon Network Hotel is so cool! Awesome rooms. Fun activities. Friendly staff. What a great, nostalgic weekend!
The property was clean and the staff was very friendly.
Another fun stay!
We've always liked this hotel, it's great for the kids, next door to Dutch Wonderland, and near a bunch of local attractions. We visit once a year every Fall and this time around were impressed with the overhaul of the activities throughout the day, ranging from pumpkin decorating to movie nights and dance parties and more character meet & greets as well. The property is always nicely decorated for the season, with hay bales, corn stalks, and pumpkins for plenty of nice photo ops throughout! Staff are the highlight of our trip here, everyone is super friendly and great with kids too. To those that haven't been here yet, the "toon room" adjacent to the lobby is another big selling point of the hotel, with an interactive video game, arts & crafts available, and a small arcade to help gobble up some time in between your other adventures. This is also where most of the scheduled activities are hosted. We'll see you next year!
Kids really enjoyed the decor and the child friendly amenities!
Clean and convenient
It has a lot of activities of kids
Was great
I do not like that we could not get daily cleaning in the room. With kids it gets very necessary to have new towels and the beds made up to keep the room from feeling chaotic. I would not stay again.
Loved the Cartoon Network Hotel!! Brought back childhood memories!!
Super cute and fun
Somehow the website registered me under my facebook name which is a nickname. It was difficult to get checked in and one staff member just wouldn't do it in case something "falls back on me." Otherwise, this was a super cute hotel. Would love to come back in the summer but we loved the arcade, pool and food!
I loved our stay here wish we could have stayed a little longer. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Would definitely come back again
I liked the rooms, although I wanted to color the wall so bad lol. But the beds were very comfortable. They had a wake up call on the phone but did not offer wake up calls. And our tv was not working at all. The other thing we were a little unsettled was the curtains, but didnt find out till the next morning that there were two to pull down. Other than that it was relaxing.
Will stay every year. Close to everything.
It was ok
Fun idea and my son liked it but probably not my favorite choice. Check in was weird as there is no typical front desk it’s more like you are checking out at a store. I didn’t realize from the pictures that this is more of a motel with outside doors than a hotel. Our room was clean, colorful & the bed was soft and comfy. The bathroom was super tiny & parking was tight but overall it was a pleasant stay.
It was my first time and it certainly won’t be my last! My first room had a few issues and the supervisor Kayla immediately fixed it all for us and moved us to another room. She was so kind and accommodating I was floored by her customer service. The rest of the time there my family had an amazing time, the staff is friendly and happy! Can’t wait to book for my next kids birthday! Thank you Cartoon Network!
Some plates in breakfast buffet were dirty. Beds were comfortable. Could hear people in adjoining room but they were quiet most of the time. Kids love this hotel.
Nice fun property for the kids
Excelente
We came for a basketball tournament. They never cleaned our rooms or offered new sheets or towels
It was really fun. Kids loved it!
Apparently at Cartoon Network hotel having a reservation doesn’t mean much. I had to wait about a half hour for them to find us a room. They also will not provide receipts ( I was billed twice for my stay and almost three times). The term that comes to mind is lipstick on a pig. The Cartoon Network hotel is basically a dolled up roadside motel.
The room had bugs and had a funky motel smell. I asked for a refund but Expedia could not get in contact with the hotel manager to approve, which is bad customer service on Expedia's part. Now i havrle to continue to fight for a refund instead of enjoying my vacation smh. You have to do better Expedia with your refund policies. There is no way you should deny a refund when the hotel room conditions are jot suitable to stay in.
Took expensive for the size of the room
A few bugs in the bathroom but everything else was amazing!!
Didn’t like it at all
We had a great time with the children. They enjoyed all of the activities, and meeting all the characters.
Good stay!
The only note i have is that "Regular Show" wasn't represented, and that is HIGHLY disappointing!
Meh
Lots of activities and entertainment for kids. Downside indoor pool is small and an annex to the main building. Rooms are small but clean.
Very cute hotel next to Dutch Wonderland. Would stay again!
Great hotel for kids
If I could give 0 stars, I would.
Terrible from the very beginning. Staff was not very friendly. We were never welcomed nor thanked for staying there. Instead of having common customer service, the girl checking us in asked “NAME?!” We rudely got handed directions to our room with no explanation and was told to “put these wristbands on or get kicked out.” Finally found our room. (Unsure if this is a “revamped” Motel 6 or what but it’s sort of run down in certain spots; stairs are rusted and paint is chipping off, parking lot could use a good paving.) There is no elevator so keep that in mind when hauling all your luggage. Stuck our key card up to the door and nothing. The light turned green but the lock wouldn’t work. I called the front desk, was put on hold as soon as they answered, then when she picked back up, she said “What did you want?” After explaining the situation, she said, “oh yeah, when it gets cold out, the locks don’t work.” I was never offered an upgrade for the inconvenience. I was actually offered a downgrade to a queen room (booked a king). Then I was told maintenance might or might not even get to it tonight. Who’s to say once they got it fixed that it would even work right in the event of an emergency? I asked to speak to a manager and was told there wasn’t one on duty. A Friday night at a hotel with a store and restaurant and there’s nobody in charge? o_O Extremely disappointed in this experience as we have NEVER encountered a problem like this since using Hotels.com for YEARS.
Convenience, surrounding area, staff friendliness, colorfulness, creativeness, activities, walkable to park
Need better pillows
The room not really big enough for family of 4. And not mush activity for kids in hotel.
Location. Cost. Cleanliness.
This was the last stop my honeymoon and my husband and our son were very excited abour going here. The first night was fine, but most ammenities were closed because it was a thursday night, which was disappointing. Around midnight that night i found a bedbug INFESTATION in our room. I found one in our bed and 4 full grown ones and many tiny babies in my son's bed. The overnight staff was very quick move us to a different room on a different floor. They told us to talk to the day staff about other things they could do for us. The day staff essentially blew us off. The manager said that they have a third party come in and clean and test for bedbugs. If it comes back positive, they would contact us about comping the room. But she said "it could have been any bug, so we have to wait to see if its negative." Im sorry, but i shouldnt have seen a ladybug in my bed, let alone a bedbug. It has been over a week since the incident, and i have yet to hear from anyone. We talked about making another trip here in the future, but now i am confident that we will never return.
Best bed my wife and i have ever slept on. And we travel a lot. Pillows were fantastic. When we came home we ordered 4 for ourselves and 4 more for Christmas presents.
Terrible smell of sulfur. Nothing to do. Far too expensive for what you get.
Been staying here for years. Very good hotel.
Took my daughters on a trip and it was a nice clean hotel maybe a little pricey though
