The room is very big
The staff were lovely, easy to deal with and they’re a very nice family. The bed was the hardest thing I’ve ever slept on and very comparable to a floor. Everything was clean. Very good water pressure. Great price. Parking was great.
Parking good
We enjoyed our stay in room 17 it was great for the price . Only a couple of things the mattresses needed to be up graded as they were very hard we were both stiff after sleeping on them and my only other complaint would have been the bathroom door did not just right it needs to be planed down as it was binding when you tried to shut it . Other then that I recommend people check out this motel very friendly staff and it’s in a safe area .
.
Very clean, easy access. Proprietor very helpful.
The motel is dated for sure but clean. Bed mattress was very hard.
When I booked it stated 2 queen beds, and coffee machine in the room. Once we got there was only one queen bed and no coffee machine. Also when checking in the guy was not very talkative or seem very friendly. This didn’t me a good feeling.
Found bed was uncomfortable. Liked the kitchen set up, washroom and close to shopping
Easy check out
It's fair, clean place to sleep and shower
Lacks amenities
Close to the way back road
Nice and clean. Coffee shop on site had a great breakfast.
Not a good place
Looked like the room we were staying in was recently renovated. There wasn't enough plugs as available and the extension cord they were using in the room to plug everything in was damaged. The walls were paper thin, you could hear the people next door. Also the shower head was probably not even 5' high in the shower. My wife who is about 5'2" had to bend over to wash her hair.
Nice little stop
Nice little place to stop. Wouldn’t stay more than one night. A/C was noisy and did not work very well. Blanket had holes in it, replaced without a problem. Food was good in the cafe.
Nice size fully equipped rooms. A little loud for sleeping as it's on a highway and small gaps in windows where the A/C is so it let bugs and dampness in. But overall great price for a room with extras.
very clean
Unpleasant room in a convenient place
The room was damp and musty, the carpet was damp.
Overall is good enough. I did not like smell and high humid in the room.
Clean and fair priced
I don’t like it but no choice , no other hotel alternative at that time
It was HORRIBLE!!
Poor cleanliness in bathroom. Poor furniture, and mattress. More towels in bathroom. Only l bar soap in bathroom. Poor kitchen wash clothes and tea towels. Need different curtains to use the air conditioner. Curtains were too long and block out the cool air from the air conditioner. Teapot was not working.
Place was good, right next to the highway but you couldn’t really hear the traffic in the room.
It was on the highway and one could hear the truck traffic day and night. Also the lighting in the room could be improved. It was not adequate
Needs major upgrade air conditioner not working
I booked at $115. On Expedia but was charged $120. At property….. no hangers in the room, limited channels on tv, and when I went to have a shower the plastic bath mat was disgusting and when I pulled the shower curtain across three long black hairs fell in the tub..beyond gross!
The shabby and old motel is so expensive that it doesn't include breakfast! If you want to have breakfast, you have to pay extra! I would never recommend this motel! Never come again!
Nice hot shower. Nice and close off the bridge.
Enjoyed our stay!
Liked the twin bed options
Property was well kept, price was very good and location near Borden welcome centre was convenient. Coffee shop didn't seem to function often
AC offered good temperature control Comfortable bed
A great old school motel…a real find for the price…would use again
All good .Good location for what I wanted to do
Friendly and inviting, conveniently located and a tasty breakfast
Good for a night stop
Property is old but renovated.
Great customer service
Owners were very nice and great on check in; however, and although it is a summer place, the place was in darkness when checking in. Felt like I wasn't going to have a place to stay at the time, but worked out in the end. Served the purpose for me.
Very clean rooms, have been updated and are quite nice. Spacious rooms.Coffee shop attached does a good breakfast. Staff are not friendly or welcoming, in fact quite miserable, except for one girl that served us breakfast. Not a great location, close to the road, so a bit noisy in the daytime, but was quiet at night.
It was apparent that nobody that worked in this family business really wanted to be there, as a result neither did I,
An expensive filthy pig sty!
When I checked in, the first room I was assigned reeked of urine. They changed me to a different room which was only slightly better. I have been travelling for over a month and this motel was definitely the filthiest and worst place I have stayed in. Floors were filthy and with used cups and goldfish crackers on the floor as well as lots of dead flies. (Flies were a big problem. But they leave a fly swatter in the desk drawer!) Lots of hair on the shower walls, which obviously hadn’t been cleaned recently. No glass or cup in the room and lots of truck noise from the highway. Walls are so thin I was kept up by snoring from the adjacent room. They also wanted $20 for each load at the guest laundry. Place was so dirty I checked out immediately the next morning even though I was booked for 2 nights. I couldn’t take another night in the filth. I never got a refund for the 2nd night. The motel said I had to arrange a refund from Hotels.com, but Hotels.com told me it had to come from the motel. It’s unbelievable that the motel charges $174 for a night. I guess they figure they can get away with it because they are right next to the Confederation bridge. AVOID THIS PLACE! There are other clean and reasonable motels nearby.
This motel should not be listed in Expedia. It is OLD, rundown, loud, unsafe and unsanitary! Do NOT stay here. It is located on a major highway with inadequate locks on the doors. The air conditioners are dirty and unsanitary. The knob for the shower is so old that it can’t regulate the temperature and goes from freezing to scalding. I feel robbed for being forced to stay here during a baseball tournament when no other accommodations close to Summerside were available. I was charged a fortune for this despicable motel. This place was fine in 1970. It hasn’t been updated since!!
Beds were uncomfortable and the first day the room was not cleaned , beds not done towels not changed. Had to complain. No coffee machine had to ask for one. Doesn’t worth the money I paid for 3 nights 617 $, which I say it’s gauging . Stay away
I had to knock at the door to get attention when arriving at 4 in the afternoon. Key took a long time to open door. No cleaning room for the next stay. For $200.00 a night, it was not worth it. If i could get my money back, i would try!
Room was surprisingly big. Had a dining table and a sofa. Had wifi, soap shampoo was provided. Had a small fridge and microwave. Conveniently located just after the Confederation bridge. There is also a small cafe in case you needed some food.
Property was right on the main highway. Easy to find. Rooms smelt musty. Found a can behind the nightstand. Room was 10x10. Owners were very nice and polite. Room charge was high for what you get.
Convenient being on the TCH and close to the bridge.
Owner called me 8:36pm on the check in day to cancel my booking, saying there's a room lakeage. No alternative arrangement and I have to find another place to stay which is super hard as almost all hotels/motels are full.
The property was older but for the price we cannot complain
All amenities were very good, very clean and bed was very comfortable. Staff was pleasant and friendly.
Moyen
Staff didn't seem happy to be there. Place was clean enough, convenient. A lot of traffic noise from the highway, right beside it. Not much to see, nearby.
Overall good - but right on the highway with a lot of traffic. so quite noisy.
Close to the bridge. Room was small and basic. Dried blood in several spots on one bedspread - forgot to point it out to them. Have to borrow hair dryer from front desk. They have a restaurant that you can purchase breakfast. Has BBQ out back but I didn’t check the condition. Relatively inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Ok for a night.
Friendly staff
The proprietors were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and lovely. We honestly didn’t expect much as it’s just a motel, but it was a really wonderful stay!
Good thing is that there was a breakfast restaurant, the lady was super nice. Bad thing is they don’t go in a clean the rooms for you. So basically you pay to sleep there and pick up after yourself.
A large room with good cooking facilities. I would stay here again.
Nice and close to the bridge.
Nothing
Everything was perfect. We will rebook one day.
we rented a double bed and sofa bed. The sofa bed is a futton with no linen and a bedspread. not comfortable at all.
Perfectly acceptable but nothing fancy. Seemed clean.
Abbout our stay
We would recomen this a decent place to stay
The room has outdated and has a smell. The bed is so dusty as well the bathroom dirty.
Good location, clean, large room with full kitchen. Bed was ok, room was a little dated, but overall if I was staying a few nights I would stay here as the kitchen is a big deal if cooking your own food.
Nice staff, old motel
Loved that you could park right outside your room, hated that it was noisy. There was a family of 5 next door and you could hear thier kids running and jumping around all evening it sounded like they were right above your head . Old building no sound proofing I guess .
had every thing
Rooms are spacious and do justice for what we paid.
Nice older style motel but maintained well.
Office door is always locked. It says restaurant and coffee on the sign Didn't see any sign of them serving any of this. Yes there was stoves and fryers but no sign of them having been used. Tv wasn't working. Shower wasn't working. It was like the shower button was welded on the spout so it couldn't be turned on.
It was nice and quiet just what we needed. The room was very clean and spacious.
Do not recommend
The room smells like mold
It was expensive for the utilities provided, i.e, not sufficient heat, small bathroom.
Hotel had no power due to a storm for the last 20 hours of my husband's trip and we had to get another hotel elsewhere. There was no refund available.
Easy access to Confederation Bridge Use rooms as a base to travel PEI Left one day early due to approach of Dorian Staff were friendly and helpful Ate breakfast in coffee shop and it was very good
It's near route, dirty room.. not quiet area.......
Room was absolutely spotless. Beds were comfy. Staff was friendly. However food in their cafe was not very good. A decent place to sleep for the night en route to somewhere else.
OK Stay
There's nothing special about this place. Best thing about it is location. It was comfortable enough and was a good middle location on the island.
Room was clean but dated. Bed was ok. Stayed on a Saturday night so we payed a premiun price of $149 plus tax which was a bit steep for this property. Close to the bridge. Weekly rates look to be around $89 which is more in kine. Host was very pleasant and eager to ensure we had an enjoyable stay.

Location was great. Easy access to the bridge and close to lots of things
Nice rooms. A little overpriced for what you got. Food at the coffee shop was terrible and overpriced. Staff not the friendliest and it was difficult to communicate as no one spoke English well. There was a bucket with sand for smokers outside our room that was full of cigarette butts - disgusting.
Clean and neat but open bags of snacks under the sink. No big deal.
Friendly and courteous. Clean, older facility. Easy to get to.
Spotless!
Updated decor but was not clean. Shower and floor not cleaned from guests previous. No coffee or tea in room.
We like this property for its lication to what we are doing. We have stayed here several years. It is clean, and offers all the amenities we need.
No laundry mat!
Clean and comfortable, not fancy. No laundry mat, even tho it says there is. REALLY, didn’t like that, we travel on motorcycle, and i booked 3 nights here. I always book where I can clean my laundry, as we can only travel with a few shifts. Not good enough. 😡
The first nigtt we had a single room which was huge for a single room and the second night it was a 3 guest room which every thing was crammed in. Also the second room was advertised as 1 queen bed and 2 singles when in fact it was a Double and 2 singles. Otherwise everything was fine.
I missed not having a hair dryer. I didn't bring mine.
We arrived later (10:40 pm ) and the owner seemed a bit sleepy , not very talkative but our room was clean and all we needed for the weekend 😊 pizza place next door had awesome pizzas especially the don air pizza !!! Would definitely stay again 9 out of 10 🎉
Quiet well built. clean and large rooms. excellent facilities full size refrigerator
4 walls and a roof, thats it. My wife stayed there due to a family emergency. No heat, toiletries, no coffe pot or cream. Furthermore in the week she was there the staff did not once show up to clean the room. She had to take her own garbage, towels to the office to exchange them herself. For the amount of money that they charge this is INSANE!!! Beware, avoid this place
No heat in room
