We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. Friendly ducks, dogs, and it was great hearing all of the different bird calls. Very close to restaurants and things, but felt remite and private. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the small bathroom without much room to put things.

TravellerSuper unique and enjoyable place to stay. Even has kitchen if you’re inclined to make your own meals (or just coffee), but town is so close with tons of great dining options. Loved the lagoon which is literally at your door step. It rained constantly for us, but didn’t care. The sound of huge raindrops on the tin roof was actually pretty soothing. Bonus - the Tarzan swing into the river is just up the road.
TravellerExcellent cabin to enjoy La Fortuna. Just a short drive to La Fortuna Center and close to the Rope Swing on Rio Fortuna. The cabin was clean and the shower was hot. The bedroom has an AC, which was nice for a good night sleep. It rained one of the nights and the tin room made me feel like I was swept away to another world of comfort. I would stay again.
TravellerThe roof is made by plastic material. When it rains, it’s very noisy. Even a small rain, the sound can be magnified. Unfortunately, we had three days of rain. We couldn’t sleep well because of the noise. When it rains, the carbin has moldy smell. I guess when the weather is good, it will be much better.

TravellerCabañas del Lago was spectacular. We had a room right on the water. The nature was all around us and we couldn’t have been happier. We felt so at home and the amenities were spot on. Definitely the place to stay in Arenal.
Traveller3 night stay
I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting La Fortuna. Marcos was great and provided great information to enjoy our stay. The cabin was beautiful and very relaxing, it definitely made you feel like you’re in the jungle. The city center was a few minutes down the road, just be careful for how dark it gets when driving around. I would stay here again and everyone say hi to Sammy :)

TravellerThis was a great place if you’re looking for a safe, quiet, and cozy little place to sleep at. Cabins by the water in the woods was very relaxing. AC worked great and there was hot water. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. There was a Roku in the room with access to Netflix and other apps. If you’re looking for more of a resort feel with pool and bar and stuff this is not the place. I would definitely stay here again.
TravellerCute little cabins near a small man made lake. Quiet and peaceful at night. The staff and rooms were pretty nice. Included a small kitchen and fridge and nice AC. Only issues would be that the place is a bit far from town. If you don’t have a car it’ll be a hike. Also lots of bugs and the rooms aren’t sealed completely so they can get into the rooms even if you keep the doors and windows closed. Still a nice stay id recommend it.

Nos gustó mucho este lugar, excelente para relajarse, ubicaciones buena, estaba a 10min en vehículo del pueblo La Fortuna y 35min caminando, cuando llegamos estaba lloviendo y era tarde pero nos pasaron un numero para poder pedir comida, muy atentos en todo momento, en general, muy huena nuestra experiencia.

TravellerSehr schöne Unterkunft. Leider regnete es die ganze Zeit. Wenn man in Ruhe schlafen will, ist es nicht zu empfehlen. Das Dach ist aus Blech und der Regen ☔️ platscht da drauf in voller Lautstärke. Besser bei schönem Wetter. Der Besitzer ist freundlich, zuvorkommend, zuverlässig und via WhatsApp erreichbar. Ohne Regen ist die Unterkunft absolut empfehlenswert
TravellerSchöne Hütten mit einer guten Küchen Ausstattung und warmen Wasser. Nette und engagierte Leute. Blechdächer wodurch Insekten in die Hütte kommen und es bei regen sehr laut ist. Keine Anbindung zu Fuß oder mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln.

Nice , cute property. Rainforest feeling . Rain drops on the roof is very loud ., can bother your sleeping , but very natural rainforest feeling . Easy location to drive to town down . Hot water not working some days , that is the bad for showering . LOL .
