It is a nice location in town and easy to access from the highway. Clean. Friendly. Overall a great stay.

It was super clean and quiet

The room was comfortable and usually quiet. Bed was great. The elevators took some getting used to - totally controlled by a room key, so there were no floor buttons to press. I had problems with the deadlock, which took several days to get fixed, and I'm not sure that the problem was completely solved. The room was mostly secure even without it, but I wasn't pleased with the response to my request. There were good restaurants nearby - I just had no time to take advantage of anything other than a place to rest when possible.

We stayed at the Aloft for a full week in November and couldn’t have been happier. Great location, great staff, wonderful experience.

Ahhhh, I don’t do a lot of reviews, but this stood out. Luke Luke warm shower after a long day? Check. Paper thin comforter? Check? Exposed feet because it was short? Check. Experiencing what I thought was a hovering helicopter outside my window that turned out to be a freight train? Check and check. People were nice. Hotel was nice. But those things were doozies.

The breakfast service promoted in the listing is misleading. Everything is a la carte and pricey. For the nightly rate I paid, it's hard to believe that they gouge you for what is basically a continental breakfast. $2.50 for a banana is just and example. Eat at Bob Evens down the street. It will be much better and cheaper.

Meh, probably wouldn’t stay again

Hotel was clean and nicely decorated. Staff were friendly at checkin. Bed was good but pillows were lumpy flat things that weren’t very comfortable. Sound proofing doesn’t exist- sounded like a herd of elephants in the room above when they were simply walking around, and could hear them talking. Heating/AC unit is one that turns off and on all night, and isn’t intuitive since there’s a thermostat on the wall that seemed to do nothing but could be controlled from the unit itself. Bathroom area is more open than most hotels- a partial wall between sink and bedroom area, and a sliding door separating the shower/toilet so middle of the night trips easily wake people up. Overall it was ok, but probably wouldn’t choose to stay there again.

Very comfortable hotel near Ohio State medical center. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff is very friendly and kind.

Location for OSU was excellent. Room was quiet. Comfortable bed. The area in room had a very small table to work on. It isn't unworkable, but not great by any means. Front desk was disengaged at checkout. I asked for copy of bill. I was given the bill for another guest. Will have to see whether the charge ends up correct. There is a restaurant (Cap City Diner) that shares parking lot. It is excellent. Great food, relatively inexpensive.

Very comfortable hotel. Staff is accommodating. There are several restaurants plus Starbucks nearby. Stadium is a bit of a hike.

Property was modern, clean and quiet. Bed was very comfortable! Nice common area that had football playing and games with a big deck. 1.3 mile walk to OSU stadium was super fast and easy! I would stay here again

Wonderful hotel!

The cleaning staff started way too early and were so loud you were startled awake. The walls are thin, so you hear everything above, below and next to you. Not a pleasant experience

Great area with lots of dining options. Location was great for our visit. Safe area and extra safety measures at the hotel. A little more “techy” than I was used to, but manageable. Lobby area was a great space and the bar had good selection. Beds were a little hard for my taste, otherwise great stay-would definitely choose again.

I really enjoyed my stay here, the staff are very friendly and will cater to your needs no matter what time of the day it is. The housekeeping crew were excellent. They kept my room clean for the five days that I were there with no problems.

From the time we pulled into the parking lot, entered the front lobby, and entered our room, we saw nothing but filth. Outside, the sidewalk way dirty, stained, and just generally unclean. Walking into the front lobby, the area was dirty. The gathering (breakfast) area in the lobby saw dirty and torn carpet. The pullout chairs were stained and dirty. The front desk had friendly staff, but the area was cluttered and unorganized. Arriving on our floor, we exited the elevator to find a carpeted hallway that looked to be un-vacuumed for some time. The carpet was also stained and dirty, which matched the corridor walls. Once we entered the room, it was tight, to say the least. The carpet was torn, stained, and needed to he vacuumed. Found on the carpet was a pill of some sort. As we travel with a service dog, we are blessed to have found the pill and disposed of it before our dog ingested the pill and experienced a negative outcome. The bathroom was good sized and general y clean. The shower head had several different settings, but if you tried to find a different setting, it was difficult, as the shower head was not attached to the shower wall. The water was hot, however, and got the job done. We did visit the breakfast area prior to our departure from the hotel. The area, as noted earlier, was generally dirty and unappealing. Food choices were plentiful, but typical “free” breakfast items. If you want to watch TV or use the Internet, this is not the place for you. Although warne

The check-in was fast and friendly, and the decor is awesome! Our beds were comfy! The space is perfect for a small family, and the locale is GREAT!

Unique place, nice atmosphere

My daughter and I came to Columbus for a concert. I was looking for a hotel that had free parking after spending over $50 for parking my last trip. The whole experience was unique from the check in to the elevators. The rooms were unique and clean with fun little details like the lighting. The bed and pillows were cozy. Great experience overall.

Hotel is showing some wear and tear. In terms of cleanliness, it was average. Good location, easy parking. Was kind of odd you had to take an elevator up from ground floor to get to lobby and then back to parking lot.

The staff was wonderful, very helpful. We needed more coffee and more cups and the staff immediately helped us out. There was no microwave in the room, which is disappointing. I bring food due to dietary restrictions and need a microwave. The gym is the nicest, most well-appointed gym I have ever experienced in a hotel.

Great spot for any event at OSU stadium. Room was large and very clean. AC was a little loud and the walls a little thin but I’ll take that anyday for a big clean room.

Aloft is a beautiful hotel with plenty of parking, a indoor pool, and large deck. I was greeted by Alex who also provided information on nearby places to eat. The front desk staff rocks!! My room was clean and spacious. The hotel is minutes away from downtown or the campus of OSU. I highly recommend it.

Big room, funky furnishings, beds bit hard, pillows good, shower horrid as was Accessible room and water ended up all over floor making it slippery.

This hotel served its purpose for our one night stay. The people at the front desk were nice and helpful. The pool was small and I don’t think the floors in our room have been mopped/cleaned in a long time!

Absolutely gorgeous

This place is 5+ star hotel! Modernized, sleek, clean and very secure! Staff was the best! Housekeeper was amazing and even added little touches to make it like home. Has a common area balcony with 2 fire pits and plenty of seating and leads off of the bar, for those of you who would like to have a drink and relax outside around a fire before retiring into a very comfortable bed! Cannot think of anything negative about this place, other than there is a train track that ran throughout our stay, but it wasn't a disturbance, even at night, and I have very good hearing!

Not a comfortable stay

Bed was broken down on one side and needed replaced. Air conditioning /central air barely worked. We had to purchase a fan while we stayed 7 nights for a convention. There was a musty smell to the room. No desk area but a small dinette in a corner. The appearance is nice and contemporary but it’s not a comfortable stay.

Property is very nice. I like the style but would suggest keeping pets on first floor. We had a dog above us and the pacing and barking could be heard throughout the night. Otherwise hotel is very nice, enjoyable and accommodating!

Great loved my stay💕

They did not have rooms ready when we got here and told us it would be a few minutes so we got out of line since we thought they took our names down. There were multiple other parties waiting. Someone asked if it was whoever was in line at the time got the room regardless of how long they have been waiting. They said yes. So everyone got back in line. When I got to the front they ran out of rooms again. When we finally got a room an hour and a half past check in time it was still dirty. Hair in the shower, food on the floor, dirt on the table, multiple walls had what looked like something sprayed on them still. To top it all off there was a dog that liked to bark all night long.

This hotel is modern and convenient and has free parking. It was the perfect location for our Ohio Stadium event. The only two slight negatives were the lack of friendliness of the check in/check out staff, and the fact that our room was never cleaned between nights. I really like a made bed as part of the amenities and it was disappointing not to get a couple new washclothes. Those were minor things and we had a great stay overall.

We always love staying here for our visits to Columbus. The staff is amazing, the rooms are alwaya clean. The beds are some of the most comfortable Ive slept in at any hotel. Our room featured a white noise machine that made for a wonderful sleeping experience.

The overall ambience is stellar !!! The rooms were super clean . The lady at the front fest ( I forget her name ) was a little bit rude and seemed distracted but generally we enjoyed our stay ‼️

We really loved our stay here! The property was beautiful, the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever had in a hotel, and the two restaurants next door were incredible. We did get charged for someone else visiting the bar in the hotel (which looked really cool but we never went there), but the manager quickly took care of it when I called. I would definitely stay here again!

Nails in parking lot/handicap space . We picked them up and disposed of them.

The elevators are horrible. You hit G and it takes you to 3. It wants your room key for any floor. So when it mistakenly takes you to 3 you have to get out of the elevator use your key. Then hit G. This or something similar to this happened 2x during our 1 day stay. The place is clean but the rooms are small so when house cleaning starts opening doors at 6am you can hear it.

Very nice stay! My only criticism is that I didn't know how to use the elevator panel, in that my key was needed to use it. I think it's a great safety mechanism, just needed to be informed.

Worst. My room was supposed to be non smoking. Definitely not the case. Totally smelled of smoke.
