Great area close to restaurants and shopping. Clean hotel with upgraded features.

Great stay at the AC. Bed was not comfortable but this was the only issue with the stay.

The only discomfort was the matresses were too hard

We had a last minute stay in Raleigh and the reviews for this hotel were great. Staff, Hotel and Location was great. There was a Target conveniently down the street and plenty of restaurants near by.

Walkable to restaurants. Club upstairs really loud- even 2 floors down. Very dirty room. Took forever to get warm water.

Loud people next door, they did quiet down after we complained. we asked for towels and they didn’t get sent up. Would be nice to have room service for coffee.

Room was nice and clean, front desk staff were very helpful.

Nice but….

The stay was nice except it is SO loud being right next to the capitol grille. Also the walls are very thin and I heard every noise. Overall, I would not stay again due to the noise and the price. Also, the bed was so very uncomfortable.

Amazing experience

Wonderful overnight getaway with consistently excellent and enthusiastic staff. One note of caution. If you go tell bed before 11 on weekends maybe avoid the sixth floor. A bit of noise from the rooftop bar made our location slightly less than ideal.

I loved the rooftop bar & the fitness room! Everything was very convenient; great location!

The hotel is located within the north Hills District with which is vary conveniently located to many immense restaurants.

Tons of restaurant selections. Friendly staff. The valet is utilized by a interface on your phone once u check your vehicle in with valet.

1st time in Raleigh

Very nice hotel. Very modern. Only complaint is that the snack area need a better selection for those late night cravings.

Incredible property, will definitely book again

The lighting in the room was not sufficient, even you turned on all the lights in the room. When you try to get more natural lighting by opening the curtain, then people from the outside can actually see you in the room. Facing the hotel is another building very close, with parking garage where people can park their cars and literally see you in your room, what happened if you feel like changing your clothes in your room and not your bathroom. You should be able to do it without being afraid people can see you naked.

Went to the AC Hotel for a night out with my girls! Everything is so clean and the hotel staff were super friendly. Will definitely be my hotel of choice when staying in the North Hills area!

Not as good as the pictures

Customer service was excellent. We had a leak in our room and they quickly attended to our need. No complaints about the staff but I think that this hotel needs to pay more attention to detail at this price range.

Everything was amazing!

Check in was average, what we should expect but nothing more. As a platinum member, no recognition which may be a hotel.com issue. No housekeeping and when I called the front desk at 3pm to ask for service, they casually stated that housekeeping was gone for the day. They advertise peleton bikes without mentioning that the bikes are not hooked up to WiFi!! We checked out at 10am and got a call while at the airport at 11am offering us a complimentary breakfast for our inconvenience. Also, almost forgot to mention how awkward the bathroom set up is with the vanity sink in the bedroom. Would not stay here again !

Overall experience

Beware of parking. Free, but the valet sign says you need to see them before checking in. They change $30 per night when you can easily park across the street in a safe garage.

Need a pool

Valet and front desk staff were amazing. The bartender on the roof top in doors was great. She remembered all the drinks that we ordered. I wish I could remember her name so you can have her serve you

Check-in was quick and easy. Staff were very welcoming. The room was nice and clean. I like how there were dining options and shopping in walking distance from the hotel. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I will come back in the future.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for his birthday and it was everything and more. The dining options nearby are all walking distance not to mention the roof top bar. The room was very clean and had everything you need, the front desk staff were super nice and very helpful. It was an excellent stay and will definitely recommend!

The room was very small with zero privacy in the water closet. Literally a closet. Staff was awesome.

Everything was ok until at 2:00am a lady started yelling and banging nonstop on someone door for almost and hour it was horrible I couldn’t go back to sleep.

Great hotel in a great location - would definitely recommend.

The staff were wonderful, room was perfect and we loved the location to walk everywhere for dining and shopping!

My room was beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the towels were soft and very absorbent. If I had to choose 1 issue it was there could have been a ceiling light in the hallway. And I would have rather self parked but that lot was a block away.

Very nice property. Nice rooms and a lot of dining within walking distance. I would have given 5* overall except for the fact that they have pump style bathroom amenities like shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. I understand that it is more cost effective to use these instead of the small single use bottles but I do not want to use a pump style that has been used by tens to possibly hundreds of other people who could have put god knows what in those bottles.

This hotel is close to excellent restaurant options, a grocery store, and movie theaters. The valet parking service workers are professional and efficient!

Staff were ready and always willing to assist, place was clean and air was fresh and clean. I love the scent of the place it’s so clean and the rooftop bar is so nice to hang out and enjoy the place. I always visit NC every year and this is the place I only feel comfortable staying

I was greeted upon checking in and had exceptionable service! The room was great with a comfy bed - I could hear a lot of noise from the hallway, but nothing major.

So disappointed

This trip was not so good here. The shower curtains were too short, water ran out from shower to floor, no microwaves, no complimentary breakfast, even after I called the desk and asked was there complimentary breakfast and asked about this. I won’t stay at this hotel again. For the price I should have gotten something out of the deal. So disappointed!!!

Very nice hotel everything was perfect. The only thing is the parking is in the building across. There is optional valet For a price.

Love the location, rooftop bar was excellent

We stayed two nights this weekend. It was a family trip and we were promised access to the roof top area but when we :went up for a drink last night at 7:15 we were not permitted in because we had our kids. Granted random people from off the street were allowed in but we as paying guest were turned away from sitting on a patio enjoying a drink before dinner. Remy is the one that made that rule...........Also, loud music, screaming and partying kept us up most of the first night...... Not your best work Marriott... Staff need training to learn how to treat guest... I went up for a cop of coffee this morning and the first thing the girl said to me was " You know that coffee is 2.50, right..... How highly offensive.. Clueless as to how to treat good paying guest.

Very clean and quiet, but experienced some noise levels upstairs. Other than that a good experience overall and would recommend for more business-oriented trips

The hotel was nice & if you want to stay somewhere that has places to walk to such as restaurants, ice cream shop, bars, etc. this is the place to be. If you want to sleep soundly at night, this is not the place. This hotel has a rooftop bar so ppl come here solely for that. Ppl also love blasting their car’s speakers when pulling up to wait for valet. No complaints about the hotel at all. Just know what you’re getting into before you book it.

We enjoyed the hotel and the location was fantastic.

The room

Second time staying here. Love that the floors are a hard surface rather than old dirty carpet. Rooms are nice and clean and quiet. Love having a cocktail on the top floor bar and good breakfast in the morning. Staff is very nice and friendly. Love having the snack shop open all night at the front desk. Lobby smells so good too. Capital Grill across the street has the best steaks and food and wine!

The staff was top notch, Helen in particular.

The hotel has a wonderful modern design that is clean and comfortable. I loved the rain showerhead that dropped from the ceiling.

It was a great room, very clean and up to date. The hotel staff was friendly. It has a club on the roof, we didn’t go but we will definitely visit it next time. Will be staying again!
