This hotel is ill-advertised. We stayed there for only 1 night of the 5 booked and had to lose money, unfortunately as we got no refund or help from Expedia or the hotel. First, the hotel is very near a mosque that starts praying at 5am. That woke me up! Second, My room was on the 6th floor. Very loud Music was playing from morning till night from the pool area on the 7th floor. Impossible to relax. Third, the room was advertised and sold as a deluxe room but there were two mattresses joined together uncomfortably instead of one big mattress. I complained about it and nothing was done. I would never recommend anyone who wants a relaxing holiday in Phuket to stay at this hotel. The staff wasn’t helpful. Neither was Expedia! I will never book with Expedia every again!

Nice Hotel

It was a nice hotel. Things are a lot more expensive in Phuket because it is a beach town and they know they can charge tourists a lot more than in Bangkok or Chiang Mai. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Patong Beach. I also paid for the breakfast buffet, which was worth it.

Was told i could not take coffee to my room from breakfast. The manager had zero idea about VIP or the platinum service .. no upgrade but was allowed a late check out

Had a Blast! Great atmosphere!

We loved our room, we had the 2 bedroom family unit which had an adjoining hallway with lockable outside door. It really suited our family to be together but have own privacy. Really nice shower and comfy bed. We found food options a bit limited and didn’t particularly enjoy the room service food but we eat out mostly. The highlight was the really nice room. Shame the spa is still closed. Friendly and helpful staff.

Mosquitoes throughout ground floor, first breakfast all around my legs, bitten twice. Thereafter wore long trousers, drenched in insect repellent. Breakfast dreadful - coffee machine effectively not working and the small amounts of coffee that were very slowly produced were disgusting - so in practice no coffee offered at breakfast - just not good enough. The hotel does look good - but in practice - for so many reasons that I can’t be bothered to list - it was just terrible.

The spa wasn’t open when we came which was the only downside. Other than that very close to the strip (10 min walk) but not too close so you can actually sleep at night. The lady who can book you excursions is very good (bear in mind that the companies are sometimes late due to traffic). All staff are accommodating and friendly. Special shoutout to security he always has a smile on his face and helped us cross very busy roads. An amazing man !

I had an exceptional stay at Zenseana Hotel! The staff are truly amazing — always friendly, professional, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests feel welcome and cared for. We arrived to check in around 1:30…under estimating how long it would take with traffic so we expected to wait around for about 30 mins (check in was 2pm). At 2pm they told us it would be another 10-15 mins so we stuck around ( not wanting to rifle through our luggage for swim suits etc to go to the pool or beach) We weren’t able to check in until 3:30. Rooms were clean and modern but the ac makes the room smell really musty. It’s very noticeable when you leave and then come back. Rooms faced the street so there was traffic noise constantly. Lots of loud bikes and music from the tuk tuk’s. The roof top pool was in need of updating. Coldest pool in all of the places we stayed in Phuket. Lounge chairs were in disrepair and very uncomfortable. If there were no pool towels you had to go all the way down to the lobby to get one. Breakfast buffet was sub par compared to the other places we stayed.

Beach is further than expected. It is walkable but your walking in traffic to get there. Hotel staff is nice and friendly

Amazing hotel! We spent two wonderful weeks here. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean. The pool were ok , and the food was delicious, especially the breakfasts. Great location. Highly recommend

It’s right on a very busy street on the outskirts of town, kind of a cheap hotel may be a good place for college students or something, bathroom, and bed were pretty crappy. Definitely not a five star hotel.

Washroom was flooding only thing

The property is fine, with good location, but the traffic and mosque could be noisy. And do not believe about the “speedboat trip is not bumpy”, and it was twice expensive compare to booking online directly.

Wonderful staff, pool and gym, and in a great location. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. The only thing that could have been improved is that the wifi in our room wasn't great.

Very much enjoyed my stay at Zenseana. Nice location close to the beach. Good breakfast and rooftop pool. The better part of the beach at this end of Patong beach in my opinion. Friendly staff. Thank you to my friend Dul at the front baggage area for your kind friendliness. i would definitely recommend but i hope you dont like watching tv much. no signal most of the time. I gave up asking why so i just watched online stuff from my ipad. if you like a nothing fancy restaurant and bar on the beach check out no name bar and restaurant perched on the rocks on the beach 10 minutes from the hotel. Good food cheap beer amazing sunsets.

I like the happy & friedly staffs. The zenseana hotel is beautiful and clean. It's near the beach and restaurant. Also, the laundromats are a lot. The only thing I don't like is the humidity on the hall way

Probably would not stay here again

It was a good enough hotel. Close to the beach and close to the nightlife nearby. Not much English spoken by staff so that was a challenge but not a deal breaker. Room was small with an awkward bathroom.

Staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful. Buffet was really good. Rooms are clean and updated. Gym was perfect. Only thing we want to warn ppl is that we were waken up at 5am every morning due to a Mosque chanting over a very loud speaker right by the hotel. We had ear plugs in and we can still get waken up by it.

Hotel is in perfect location. Close to beach and close to all the good places to eat. Further away from bangla road to not hear loud noises. Staffs are really friendly and always smiling. Highly recommend to anyone

Amazing hotel

Location is amazing, pool and facilities also great. If new to Phuket and Thailand, this is such a great place to stay - close to everything and staff can’t do enough for you. It was actually my birthday when I stayed, and I was given a birthday cake which was the loveliest gesture. Would happily stay here again!

Crazy patong

Good location with good size pool on the roof. Its close to the nicer end of the beach. Plenty of food options near by and close to all the night life.

It was absolutely amazing. Love the room, breakfast buffet, 5 minute walk to the beach, they also provide towels, the pool was great and long enough for lap swimming, the view of the town and the beach on the rooftop is stunning. Staff has great customer service and speaks English, which is a big plus. They provide big pump containers of soap, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and lotion and love the shower heads. Overall Zenseana is an excellent hotel and highly recommended for a stay in Phuket. It lives up to the hype and high rating of a hotel.

I chose this property because it was a VIP property. I received no upgrade and had to argue over late checkout. Expedia needs to change their website and remove VIP if it is not available. This is a bait and switch. I’m trying it again in Bangkok. I hope I have a better outcome or may need to look at another app.

This property is amazing and beyond expectations. Just know that it's on a very busy street in Patong. Once outside the hotel, it can be loud with traffic. But the hotel itself was fantastic!!

Everyone was so lovely and professional. I’ve loved everythig, all staff from reception, cleaning, pool to the lady helping organising and booking the trips to different attractions. A short walk to the beach, so very good price for location. I will definitely go back again, we’ve had a wonderful time.

It is very busy and a lot of foreigner. Very close to all and walking distance to the beach and clubbing area. The place have decent gym and swimming pool and rooftop area where you can reserved to have a party.

Clean and wonderful breakfast buffet. Our first room's wifi and tv didn't work. They had us stay while trying to repair. 2 and a half hours later, we had a new room. The shower leaked all over, poor design. We had to use towels to dry the floor. Requested towels at 9am and checked twice about them. It took 5 hours to get fresh towels. Not many employees spoke English so communication was difficult. Lastly, at checkout they made us wait to get a cash deposit back while they checked our room. Would not recommend this hotel.

I was unable to sleep at night, due to the Noise from the transformer on the roof, it kept me awake most of the night.

The stuff were really unfriendly and nothing in the room worked! From the plugs to the music system and the tv was weird too. We modified our trip theough expedia but they messed up and we did not get the mone. I asked then to help woth my luggage and they did not and nobody in this hotel smiles! The breakfast was soso. I really don‘t know how people rated the hotel so good. Did not like it. The location was ok because it was close to bangla road but i would‘t recommend to stay close to bangla road generally! Too crowded and too dirty!

Decent, clean hotel. Half the equipment in the gym was broken. Better to have less cheap equipment and a few good pieces that function. Breakfast was good.

Room is unlike pictures. There is definitely some wear and tear to them. Also felt like the room was very damp and humid with slight musky smell. TV didn't work. Bed was comfortable. Shower was good. Safe was big enough for 17" laptop. They provide water. Great location though. Five minute walk to the start of Patong Beach. Pool is decent size. Nice rooftop sitting area. Gym was phenomenal with plenty of machines, treadmills, bikes, squat rack. All in good condition.

Lovely hotel but …..

Looks lovely but numerous issues with this hotel. The Spa was closed the whole time we were there, as was the rooftop bar and restaurant which look great on the website. No explanation given or apology. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor and when I complained the staff said all rooms were like this and they would give extra towels to mop up the water! The hotel is spotless and the pool area is really nice but only about 12 loungers at it!

Overall, I would give the hotel 7.5 out of 10. Pro's - Breakfast was very good although I've stayed in places where they even exceeded this one, price of room, amenities and overall value for money, cleanliness and house-keeping, facilities around the hotel especially for Muslim's like halal dining, décor, excellent gym, shower in room very powerful and luxurious, bathroom facilities like shaving mirror and moisturiser, check-out process including use of showering facilities if you have a late flight as well air-conditioned private waiting rooms. Con's - Wifi was pretty bad, had to re-connect every-time I left the hotel and re-authenticate. It was also slow and reception was bad. Shower area had some mould and the shower gel didn't lather very well so presume it was pretty cheap. Also, the gym had no 2.5kg plates so restricted my training a bit, this is pretty easy to solve so not sure why they didn't have these plates. The biggest issue was around sound insulation and noise - basically it was like having no door and you could hear everything from the hallway. I was on my own but if someone was with their partner, you could imagine the worry about sound leakage if getting upto you know what ;-) Also the walls in the room were thin so could hear into next rooms pretty clearly. The air con leaked on the very first day but was fixed immediately. The girls on reception didn't speak very good English. I would stay here again as I think the value for money is excellent.

Perfectly located Hotel but tech needs a reboot

The Hotel is lovely. There is a minimal walk to Patong Beach and it is within walking distance to a BUNCH of restaurants, bars and the lively Bangla Night market. The hotel staff was also awesome. My only grievances were technology related. In the Executive 2bedroom suite on the 5th floor the touchpad that works all of the lights was faulty. I simply could not turn off one of the lights the first night so had HORRIBLE jet lag the next day from lack of sleep. Turns out I just removed the keycard from the wall in the hallway and and it automatically shuts all of the electricity off. Then I just didn’t turn the light back on so had much better sleep for the remaining nights. Secondly, the Wi-Fi started to slow fay as the days went by…maybe there is a limit to data?

Nice hotel, good location - 5 minutes walking distance to the beach, about 25-30 minutes walking to Bangla road and Banzaan food market. Quite clean, friendly staff, good breakfasts. The air conditioner was noisy. There is also a mosque next to the hotel. They start praying loudly at 5 AM, which was annoying during the first days of jetlag. Later we didn't hear that, but if you don't sleep well this might be a problem. Generally, it's a good hotel for a good price. Probably next time we will stay there as well.

We stayed for 2 weeks , we where supposed to be upgraded since this was a vip hotel , we did not receive anything, I had ordered bday cake which we never received, the staff is not friendly for 2 weeks in a hotel you would expect staff to be friendly, tv and wifi was terrible always disconnected, had the service men try to fix the problem many times without any help, the pool is freezing not easy to get into, chairs at pool are very low and uncomfortable, we lost a key and they charged us 200 bhat, the rooms are very small and bathroom is very small , the beds are comfortable and the ac works well , this is not a 4.5 hotel at best it a 3 star ,

The property is lovely. The pool and view were fantastic. The property is a 10minute walk from the beach and there are a lot of shopping options close by. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and comfortable. They also provide beach/pool towels if needed which was great. On my birthday they even wrote happy Birthday on the bed with leaves and put balloons. Was such a nice surprise. Made my day. In the reception there is a taxi & tour service that helps with bookings and you can pay with card which was very helpful. The breakfast had a lot of options and they even did bbq in a small corner of the breakfast buffet. Everything was fantastic. Overall was a 5 out of 5 stay. Highly recommend!

For this hotel we had mixed feelings. We were not satisfied with our stay at this hotel from the moment we were checking in, there was another family that was checking in and about 4 to 5 staffs that were dealing with them because they were having issues with the guest. When finally it was our turn to check in the staff took a long time with the process and we tired from the long flight and bus ride from the airport. After we were check in because they were short staffed we were not helped to our room or given a room tour. We got a room that was all the way at the end of the hotel and the shape of the hotel is like a huge C where the elevator was located at one end and our room located at the other end so to get from the elevator to our room we had to walk long hallways and turn 3 corners, it didn't seem much at first but where we came back from full day island trips the walk just takes more out of me. The room we got was really small and there was just room for our luggage and then there's the bed, there was also no view from our room. The only thing we liked about the hotel was how close it was to Bangla road and Patong beach. Also if you stay at this hotel and are booking trips to any islands you should book with Nina that is located at this hotel lobby, she is really patient and helpful when booking our trips and we enjoyed every trip that we booked with her.

We have two rooms in a suite, very convenient for a family and price is reasonable.

Pure zen

Fabulous hotel in great location, with 25m+ swimming pool on the roof. The food is excellent and staff very helpful. Would defo recommend, and i hope to stay again if i make it back to patong for new year celebrations. Gym also good and less than 5 mins walk to nicer end of the white sand beach.

Friendly staff, Clean and close to everywhere.

Pros: hotel provides lotion, conditioner and hand soap; not all thailand hotel provides all these. Location is pretty good. Cons: room is a bit small. We didn't have a great check in experience. I guess the time when we were checking in was when other customers were checking out. We were first told to sit and wait w/o even asking what we were there for, after waited for 20min, we were still left aside, so we stood in line again to inquire. It was chaotic, no line, ppl are keep cutting in front of us, when it finally get to our turn they told us we stood on the wrong line, but there is no sign telling us which line is which, so we stand on another line, again. We probably spent a little bit more than an hour just to check in. This is the longest we have ever waited to check in.

Great Hotel in Patong Beach

Excellent hotel in Patong. It is a 5 minute walk to Patong Beach, and about a 20 minute walk to Bangla Road. Great location to walk everywhere. Hotel was great; very clean, and the staff were great. Highly recommend!

Nice place, nice amenities, nice location but Woefully understaffed. Absolutely to have housekeeping get to my room no earlier than 5pm as late as 7pm my entire stay. Get frustrated and ask for the linen and toiletries so that you can atleast service the room yourself and you get a big NO..... So lol don't have your baby upchuck on the bed or spill wine in the room cause them you need to sit and fester in it until the housekeeping can get to you every evening...... Sorry but this was unacceptable..... Great Gym very nice! But for the love of everything hire more housekeeping staff!

Good for Family, could do better

The hotel was really clean. We booked a 2 bedroom suite, I thought the room would be bigger as per the pictures. The common area was actually really small with just 2 stools, so don’t go expecting a communal space with your family/ friends when booking it. We stayed for 5 nights, toiletries were only topped up on the 3rd day. Some days the room’s floor wasn’t really swept well. We saw remnants of their broom in our room. Hair on the bathroom floor also wasn’t cleared throughout our stay, so beats me what housekeeping was doing with our room.

Overall the staff was friendly but I had an expensive watch STOLEN from the room by the cleaning lady. Property manager did nothing to help and sent me to the police station. The cleaning lady is still working so beware of your belongings

The staff are very friendly and professional. The breakfast is excellent and has good variety. There is water leakage in bathrooms that have baths due to poor screen design, and the light switches in rooms can be confusing to master. However, for the price this is a great value hotel in easy walking distance of Patong Beach.

Great Month Long Stay

We had a great month long stay at Zenseana. For us, it was the perfect location in North Patong. We felt it was very walkable with reasonable restaurants and pretty close to the local Kalim Beach street food. Bond, Aye, Top, Bom and the rest of the food service, front desk staff, and the concierges made our stay comfortable and fun.

This hotel is really inconvenient to go anywhere without paying the high taxi prices. They will hassle you and overcharge you for any guess that visit you at the hotel. The pool is extremely small and the gym is extremely hot throughout the day. There are much better and cheaper options.

Great for price and location

The hotel price is good compared to it's general area, it's easy to get to locations from here. We didn't use most of the hotels services.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The staff were super friendly and accommodating and willing to go the extra mile to help! The room itself was great with the slide-away window to peek in the shower. Also 5 massive bottles of hand cream, shower gel, conditioner, shampoo and hand wash. Could not have wanted for more as they provided 2 bottles of water every day! Also, they had plugs compatible with Usb and UK plugs! Food was good with a great egg-chef making fresh omelettes and poached eggs! The hotel provided special towels for the swimming pool and the sea, which was only a few mins walk away! There is a small convenience store just across the road that sells everything you need and just a few meters away a fantastic art studio!

It was alright for the price

The room was nice, but there's definitely some kinks to work out. The shower is designed in a easy that leaves massive puddles on the floor. Checkout took entirely too long because they couldn't find an ashtray that wad never in my room to begin with. The breakfast is okay. There bed was nice and housekeeping was outstanding.
