Not so good. Why should I pay for drinking water? Poor options for gluten free. Evening buffet was not good at all, the food was ok but too expensive for that. The reception did mistake with my payment, it was very unpleasant
Beautiful room- quiet
Excellent staff
Pool was unclean
Charged for a view that was party tabes and old vending machines. Disappointing
Best experience
Stunning location! Had a room with our own pool! That was so worth the splurge for our little one! Great views and well kept property.
My room was not good , they did not respond for upgrade
Amazing stay with a private pool in our room! Kind staff and excellent facilities! I would love to stay again to this property!
Absolutely beautiful location.
As advertised. The property can get really crowded since it’s huge so getting a sunbed or seated at the restaurants can get tricky. Nothing to do around, you need a car to Loutraki or elsewhere.
A very relaxed vibe - the Wyndham part of the hotel was well app- the alpine feel to the premises was great and a good deep pool and some great places to swim in the sea - a great spot
Major issues with hotel and management
The biggest problem was the lack of security, violation of privacy and how the hotel handled the situation. The sliding door did not lock and then the hotel staff disregarded the do not disturb sign on the door and entered my room anyway. The management’s response was they needed to meet in person at 7p at night and when I asked if it could be resolved by phone, they said they would get back to me. That was 72 hrs ago and I haven’t heard back. No one from management has even apologized. The condition of the room was vastly different from the remodeled 5 star hotel with a list of amenities described on this site. Additionally, the standard amenities that were listed as being included were not ( i.e. hair dryer, iron, ironing board, etc.)
Overpriced not in good condition. Common areas are ok. Lots of things not working in the room.
Awesome staff, great food and amenities. Such amazing views and rooms. We had the room with the private pool and it was great! The kids loved the private pool.
An overpriced hotel. It has potentials but reality is far away from expectations. Positive: Room was nice. The balcony was also nice and the view is the best feature the hotel has to offer. Negative: Outdated facilities - feels like an abandoned place, especially the sea front. Breakfast was ok but Covid measures, especially on the breakfast area, were really poor. Apart from the electric car personnel the rest of the staff added to the general feeling of abandonedness as they were passive and cold. There was not any place to enjoy a drink or a coffee after the breakfast hours except from the pool bar who had only few tables. Finally, check in was delayed by two and a half hours.
Shabby, old communal buildings. Breakfast appalling. Rooms with private pool ok but our bathroom had blockages and leaks. Overall, not 5 star or worth the money.
Excellent location and views
The most amazing location.. incredible views and sea. Rooms are very comfortable and the staff are second to none ..you’ll need a car to travel around as the area has a lot to offer
The facilities are very deteriorated. The hall carpet is very old and dirty. The view is spectacular, special the sunsets. The staff is amazing.
Disappointing for a 5 star resort
Without doubt not a 5 star hotel. Almost everything needs refurbishment, from the reception area (badly signposted) to the room decor, to the restaurant. Carpets are worn and smelly. Food is extremely average. We arrived to a room that was not yet ready, and when we were allowed into the room the mini bar fridge was empty. Our superior suite with private pool was acceptable, the view was sidewas to the sea. The pool fixtures were old and loose. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Parking is on-site and secure, but not enough spaces for the number of potential guests.
About our accommodation
We went for our honeymoon for one week. The hotel was nice, clean and family friendly. I can say that cleaning ladies cleaned our room everyday and left us in very good condition, they are perfect. You can get rest easily and still be very close to Athens. The only improvement they need I can say that they can put more varieties for food. For example the main food on dinner is so less. They could make live foods infront of customers such as fish. Also the breakfast was always same. They could make something different. Also customers needs to be informed that alcohol is extra and will be charged in half board even though they aren’t in closed bottles.
The property is beautiful, private & is located at the end the the busy Loutraki strip. We stayed in the hotel building / not the cottages. Rooms very clean but a bit retro from the 60s/70s. Good size though. Looks like they have made some upgrades over time. There is old carpet in the corridors- its dirty and needs to go. Gorgeous pool & bar area. Breakfast buffet is very acceptable in a facility with a clear and beautiful view of the Korinthos Bay. This place has incredible potential to be a legitimate world class 5 star if Wyndham makes the investment due to the surrounding landscape
Lovely few days in Loutraki
Very informative helpful staff throughout our stay and great oceanfront location. A great property with lots to explore close by including Loutraki, Corinthos, Nemea and the many vineyards as well as the beautiful Vouliagmeni lake. A great place for an early morning lane swim in the outdoor pool, perfect.,,, we’ll definitely be back to explore the endless cycling routes.
Not all you read on the website is true.
We are very disappointed with the service. On the website we were informed there is tennis courts, childcare facilities and other activities. When we arrived none of the above facilities were available. We wished we knew this before we would have planned to stay somewhere else. The breakfast and food was mediocre. The location is superb but the lack of other facilities made the stay poor. The cups in our room was not washed, see below.
The property has A gorgeous view! The actual property itself is outdated with weeds and in need of a big clean up. We love to walk and didn’t mind walking the 2 miles to stores and restaurants(town center) but the walk is on a busy highway with no curb so very dangerous. The hotel smelled like cigarettes. But the pool and view are pretty.
Great stay
Great room, got a free upgrade. Parking is off road and secure. Wouldnt recommend the breakfast though, cheap produce.
Good in Places
On arrival, although we had booked a "executive" garden view room we were placed in admittedly very nice room, but overlooking flat and dirty rooftops of neighbouring apartments and up a high hill. Back to reception to enquire why the apartment did not match the Wyndham website and booking.com description. Although the staff were trying to be helpful it was only when we siad we wanted to escalate that we were offered another room. This was a Standard Room,, not an Executive but with an outside jacuzzi on the seafront. this we accepted. Generally the room was tired but clean, but with poor lighting. Good firm bed, but with ill fitting bottom sheets which became undone every night. Breakfast Buffet: Very average. Plus side a good selection of nuts and fruit, but very poor and warm to cold eggs, bacon etc. Most of the crockery was chipped and odd cups and saucers. Dinner: Italian restaurant evenings were actually very good. Excellent service and the Taverna was reasonable food, although not very Greek? But again very good service. The plus points for Wyndham is the beachfront location and the staff. The minus's are that a lot of the rooms need refurbishing, this is obviously work in progress. Bear in mind that the Ramada hotel is part of the complex and as such does attract a large amount of families, so quiet it is not around the pool area. Also a significant of beach towel reservation on the chairs. This I totally detest and the hotel should sort this out
Good experiences
beautifully laid out resort, friendly staff
having seen very mixed reviews I was not sure what to expect, but this is a beautifully laid out hotel with clean, family friendly beach and facilities and incredibly friendly staff who made our stay a perfect relaxing week. We stopped in a junior suite in the Wyndham resort, the room was spotless and well equipped, everything worked and private balconies with loungers making it easy to just relax, air conditioning to escape from the heat when required. Rooms were cleaned beautifully everyday. The beach is blue flag, water crystal clear and teaming with fish making snorkelling a favourite pastime when not just sunbathing. loungers were plentiful, towels freely provided, pools clean and supervised - it was very family friendly. there are cafes by the beach serving drinks and coffee at reasonable price, or free water if just thirsty. I saw no jellyfish and heard no-one complain. Breakfast was typical hotel buffet style, well staffed - everyone could find something they liked from salads and cold meats through pastries to cooked breakfast. For dinner you could choose from buffet (not tried but looked ok); an Italian restaurant which was average, or greek taverna with amazing starters of huge sizes, but then a more limited main choice, which varied between ok to fantastic. After trying these we choose to get a taxi into loutraki itself for an evening, the downside of the resort is its not walking distance in and out of the town, but taxi's were cheap and easily arranged
the staff was very accommodating and extremely polite
Very disappointing
No plug sockets in the rooms (except those being used by room equipment - TV, fridge, lamps etc.), faulty door lock, dirty gym with little equipment (mostly unusable), unhelpful and rude staff when we asked for help. Room was OK but if we went outside on the terrace the room air con automatically switches off so can’t keep room cool whilst using terrace - very disappointing, especially for the price paid
photographs don’t reflect the reality
Arrived late, knowing that I had tried to call but no response. Because I had booked a table in the restaurant. But that was shut so I had to use the other restaurant. That was my first mistake because I had paid for half board. So I paid €41,00 at least for dinner (half board restaurant now closed). The receptionist and I clashed later on, as it was my fault that she did not explain that I did not need to buy lunch on the Saturday as well, that was also covered. The rooms “suites” large bedrooms with 2 chairs... the actual room tired and desperately requiring updating or my Expedia bookings get different treatment. So Saturday got to dinner - which is basically a canteen with some very sad looking food. Quality poor, presentation even poorer, staff dozy, all plates collected at the end of the meal but did not stop them asking twice for my room number. Breakfasts (we did not bother on the Sunday) also rather poor. I have checked my bill and the bill has a deduction of a credit card I don’t recognize but a deduction off my debit card (for which I have the receipt). So nearly a €1,000 for two nights. Really disappointed I really thought I was getting a smart resort hotel this was not the case, I had to pay for meals that if it had been explained on my arrival I could have avoided, a unbelievably rude receptionist, and Co worker who instead of gushing apologies told me they had read the computer incorrectly. Nice chap put our cases in the car though.
Too old to be a 5* hotel, too young to be a museum
Nice location, but infrastructure is very old. Beds are very small; gym is being used as storage room and is not accessible at 07.30 in the morning; breakfast is ok, but does not seem to have a lot of locally sourced products.
Overnight in Loutraki
Overall, it was a comfortable place to stay. Checking in was a bit cumbersome wherein we were required to drive back out the entrance to park and then were given a golf cart ride back onto the property to our room (the property is large with many buildings). I didn't understand since there seemed to be plenty of parking around our particular building. The breakfast buffet was nice with many selections.
Strange Resort (although offseason), 3 star
Resort outside of Loutaki combined with Ramada with pools and lots of outdoor seating combined. Bit odd. We reserved a junior suite with sea view. Hmmm we were on the ground floor and about 100 m to a fence that did overlook the mediterranean but we couldn't really see it from the room. The pictures showed a sitting area with couch and chairs, but we had only one very sad chair in the room so had to sit on the bed to read and do computer stuff. We are off season so very few to no people. Definitely not a five star, maybe 3 star at best. Fitness club was very funny at the back of a half abandonned building up a fire escape and antique equipment. Pool was too cold to swim but granted it is October. So....we had the breakfast 3 days and it was very peculiar for a north american. Many closed bins with nuts and seeds and black gooey things that are probably dates and figs - plastic all over many types of olives, pickles and things? All those bins and not one nice museli or jam??? Bacon and eggs were ok. Croissants and breads were all overbaked (everyday) tough and dry - why bother? Smoked salmon on the table with fresh fruit? Definitely odd but maybe appealing to Europeans. Buffet area also could use some light as you peered into the many bins it was hard to see. Staff was a bunch of chatty women who seemed oblivious to clientele, except when managers came through. Front check in staff were very helpful and friendly.
Great location, rooms and staff
Excellent room! We reserved a room with private pool and it was the highlight of our trip. The views and privacy were incredible. Although the room and facilities were amazing, because it was apparently the off season, there were limited options when it came to food and entertainment. It was however the perfect time to have a nice quiet stay and was worth not having all of the noise and crowds. Beautiful place and experience
Lovely Room, uninspiring hotel and staff!
Arrival was terrible. Took them 45 mins to find our booking. No apologies or suggestion we might like to go out and have lunch in the sunshine, just had to sit inside and wait. Definitely no Welcome. Eventually found our booking and room wasn't ready so we changed in v small toilet by reception and went to beach. Restaurant was pretty abysmal, service patchy mainly bad with the odd lovely person! Thankfully our room was lovely and spacious and so was the balcony (Junior Sea facing suite) so we spent the majority of our 4 days there. Sleep was affected as there was a conference with loads of young kids, when I asked what time the 'Disco' might end they said 12?1? It was most definitely 1. Probably avoid if I were you!
Nice hotel for 70,s need reconstruction.
Staff is kind, nice and quite till israel group arrived.needs urgent restoration since notting been done after 1970 ! But perfect location! Restaurant below average, beach towels on black market !!! If you are lucky to get one ps hold on to it !till youll leave. Sea is clean, only no sandy beach and stinging jelly fish exists.
Excellent classic Greek beachfront hotel.
Booked a waterfront suite to stay with the family (2 adults and 2 children). Nicely renovated spacious room with beautiful view of the sea under the shade of pine trees. The kids fully enjoyed the jacuzzi, large swimming pool, the beach was fine too (no jellyfish seen during our visit). On the evening of our stay we were planning to attend a nearby wedding. After the whole family getting dressed-up in white we discover that we have a flat tire!!! Before we even went to the reception to ask for help, an employee named Vangelis stopped by and offered to change the tire which he did in less than 15 minutes. We were then able to make it to the wedding on time and still dressed in white!!!. In general, outstanding service in a classic greek beachfront hotel in the best location in Loutraki.
Fabulous holiday. Great location for visiting the historical sights of Corinth and Athens.
Good resort
Pool and size of room was great. The hotel needs to deal with roach problem. Staff was very friendly.
Spacious and welcoming
Staff are friendly, room was spacious and clean. Maids cleaned regularly. Resort was large and accommodating.
Old hotel
Not worthy for the price it needs renovation and you will need to rent a car to move around
The apartment is very clean and comfortable, only the parquet floor is in a bad condition. The apartment is quiet, but for 4 days there are events by Ernst & Young every day until 2 a.m. On the last day there was a vintage car event with a repair shop for broken cars. It was difficult to sleep during the week. Unfortunately I didn't receive any information about the events before booking. Otherwise I'll go to another hotel. Check-in could be much better.
Retro village
The resort has a real retro style. It looks like a village with smaller building with 4-8 hotel rooms, and one hotel bouilding with is also not big. The building comes from the '80, but in very-very good condition. And looks nice! Some rooms have got his own pool, but these are not heated, neither jacuzzy is not heated so in May it is totally useless. The main pool looks nice and clean, but only 20C in May (as the see). Plus a number of sharp corners and scraggy surface, and very noisy entertainment team... There is an other newer small poll, with looks like more safety. Rooms are very similar. The bed is comfortable, eiderdown is good. There was outlet at the small bedside tables. The cupboard has got only one useful self. The bathroom is spacious. The sofa is comfortable. The room is in good condition except the parquet, which is sink when you walk on it. There is two (why?) small balconies for the room. The restaurant is really far from 5 stars. In the city there are hundreds of much better places on half price. At the breakfast the orange juice is simple undrinkable. And it is in Greece !? Anyhow the hotel/village is nice!
Bit outdated resort but great spot
