At check in Steven went above and beyond after my husband had reserved for Sunday instead of Saturday. And the bed was comfortable and the Roman was very clean.

Thin walls

Do no stay at this hotel if you plan on spending a lot of time in your room. The amenities are few; plan on eating out every night; noise comes right through the walls, so be prepared to suffer through noise early evening more so if you're caught in the time zone differences..

I booked a queen size and foldable room for 4 people. When we arrived we were given a room with just a queen size bed. Had to go back to front desk to request a room to accommodate 4. We were then sent to a different room that had twin beds. We were tired and wanted of all the changing of rooms that we just left it as is and started exploring the city. When we arrived back we were so tired we just all slept in uncomfortable positions on twin size beds. The next morning I went to the front desk and asked that they please give us the room we had reserved and paid for. After two days we finally got a room with a queen bed and fold out couch.

Present surprise for last-minute booking

Everyone was kind and helpful. We loved the lobby set up in the free coffee and tea. The location was very conveniently located near transit staff code is super friendly.

For the price we paid we thought we’d at least get a pull out couch with our queen bed , instead we got a hole in the wall one bedroom ,with a 10x8 bathroom that ddnt even have a full shower for 700$ that night. Parking was the worst I paid 152.68 just for parking for 2 different occasions, one leaving to see the tree in Rockefeller center and the other to park for overnight which the attendant told us there was no parking at which I had to haggle him to then agree to take our car overnight overall 2/10 wouldn’t recommend the experience we had

My room was not ready on time , i reserved family room but i got two separate rooms which was not ideal. There was foul smell in one of the rooms

Great stay. Was there for 4 nights. Room was clean, good size, good amenities. One complaint is my niece had a small stuffed animal and after our room was cleaned it was gone and the hotel never found it. Otherwise a good stay.

We felt very safe here & were so close to all the subways. We were also close to WTC and Wall Street. Hotel staff was very friendly and professional. Rooms were great size and bedding was comfy. Really enjoyed the coffee in the lobby every morning. We will definately stay there again next time in NYC.

Don't waste your time/money staying here! It ruined our first trip to NYC. We had to find different accommodations because the property was extremely disappointing. We checked in and within seconds of opening the room door we seen 5 cockroaches. We immediately took our luggage to the lobby and requested another room. We were showed 4 other available rooms on a different floor but we were still finding roaches. Out of the five rooms only one "seemed" to not have any roaches but we were wrong. We had to clean out the fridge and found a dead cockroach and mold in the freezer. The shower floor was very dirty and we also cleaned it but still didn’t use it. It was very late when we checked in and the manager wasn't available to request a refund till the next morning. The very short one night stay was the most uncomfortable night ever and it was difficult to get rest thinking of the cockroaches. We didn't even want to unzip our luggage just because we didn't want any nymph or adult cockroaches to crawl into our luggage. With little to no sleep, I called Orbitz the moment I knew the manager of the hotel would be in that following morning. I requested that we check out and a refund for stay. The manager wanted to only refund the remaining nights but eventually agreed to refund the one night stay as well. I had explained that I had over 20 pictures of all the roaches we had seen. The worst was when I seen I had a nymph cockroach on the bedsheets were I had tried to sleep that night.

Quick trip back to my city!

Overall, I was very pleased with the property and location, downtown is my place! I requested early checkin, they were able to work it out. All the front desk employees were super professional and friendly, I wish I had all their names. Room very small, but ok, very modern. I used to work years for Ritz Carlton, first impressions very important!(the mystique!) My taxi back to JFK got alittle delayed, one taxi driver showed up and had the nerve to ask me for gas money! 😳 He didn’t get it, the employees at the hotel ran his off as he continued to be combative! Thanks staff again, I’ll be back😎

Housekeeping here was very sad. We requested housekeeping service 3 days straight and 3 days straight no show. Finally had to call front desk to try and get some fresh towels and they had answering machine on. I've traveled quit a bit and this was the worst lack of service I have seen.

Everything was good !

We recently stayed at the World Center Hotel and it was a great experience. The view from our room was one of the best views I remember having at the hotel. We could see the whole plaza where the 9/11 Museum is including surrounding areas. The only thing I would mention is the balcony in the room. The design was a little different than what we have seen in the past. With a little baby, we needed to secure the door so she didn’t come out. Great otherwise!

The WORST

I would never stay here again. We booked our reservation and arrived at the hotel early. The hostess said that we would have our room ready when we got back and then she was putting a rush order on it. We arrived back at the hotel at 11 PM and we told that we had no room. They had overbooked somehow in their computers made the mistake… A bunch of crap. We had to go all the way from downtown New York to be on Midtown to stay at a much nicer hotel. I would never recommend this hotel.

There were some definite pros but the cons would keep me from booking this hotel again. Pros: GREAT location, steps from the WTC, quick walk to Battery Park, Chinatown, subway stops. The area was beautiful and felt very safe. The rooms were very nice and the Staff was as helpful as they could be in resolving the cons. CONS: I booked a suite months in advance. Upon self check-in and getting to my room, it was not a suite which I booked months in advance. I came back downstairs and they said "sorry, it's not available until tomorrow, we can move you tomorrow" and offered to refund the difference the first night. Had they told me this ahead of time I'd have felt better but I guess they were just seeing if I would notice. So we had to repack, check our items with the porter and check back the next day. At 3pm check in time, the room was not ready. We waited an hour and it still was not, so we gave our luggage back to the porter. During that time, I witnessed another guest having the exact same issue. A draw for me was the free water bottle fillers everywhere and free coffee. It would save me literally $25 per day in bottles of water and morning coffee. Only day 1 did the latte machine work and I never saw the coffee urns out again either. The water was very convenient and again, the staff was kind about it all, but Just the disorganization of it would make me hesitant to book here again when there are plenty of other options.

The room was clean, and checking in and out was very easy. Communication from the hotel was great prior to check in, and I loved the refillable water stations as well. My only critiques were that the room was quite small, and the A/C was very finnicky and difficult to use (switching temperature setting seemingly at random, and switching on and off even if I set it to run continuously.

This hotel is perfect. Just what you need. It is within walking distance of everything. The front desk representatives were extremely nice and helpful. This hotel is wonderful for a visit to NYC!

The hotel is comfortable but unspectacular, you’re really paying for the location. Within walking distance to several sites like the 9/11 Memorial, Brooklyn Bridge and Wall Street. The hotel staff is very friendly, the rooms are sufficiently comfortable.

The lobby bathrooms were filthy and the paint/wall paper was peeling. The pillow cases were not cleaned and the chair in our room was dirty. However, the view was memorable and the location is accessible to every thing you may need.

Area was really nice, staff that looked like me was very friendly others not as much unfortunately. I was disappointed that there was not vending and ice on more floors. The room layout was HORRIBLE but the veiw from the balcony was AMAZING so that made up for the layout a little. Certain amenities that i have become so use too was not available HOWEVER i knew that when i booked. Would i rent again yes simply because of the view.

Comfortable and quiet in a safe feeling area. As a single elderly traveller I felt safe walking around the area & had a meal at a very good friendly local diner recommended by hotel staff. Convenient for Battery Park & the ferry to the Statue of Liberty & Ells Island.

it was a great location for going to the One World Trade Center tour, just across the street. Our room had a direct view. The rooms were very nice, but were lacking in electrical plugs, as the ones by the headboard didn't work. Unfortunately, the roof was closed for renovation.
