Do not recommend

This is a youth hostel: if you want a hotel experience do not book here. There are hundreds of noisy young people here and the walls are thin, you will hear everything. The place is decidedly no frills (no hand soap in toilets, no towels for the pool, tv remote only by deposit). Many things appear to be broken or out of order, and the staff appear over-worked. Not a relaxing vacation experience.

Good breakfast buffet, the roof terrace was nice with a bar there. Day staff were lovely n check in. One of the night staff was very rude and unhelpful when my sister checked in late and it took 10 minutes to find the voucher. She’d arrived on a delayed late night flight and they could have checked our names and bookings but the woman was the opposite of helpful- scathing even. Felt Lost unwelcome. Not keen on the area. Nice beach though.

Complains raised daily, no one ever helped. In 10 days the room was not cleaned once, only beds were done. Bathroom was very dirty and sink never washed once Extremely unhelpful stuff

Be careful before booking this hotel. We were a group of three and stayed in a studio room, which wasn’t too bad. The shower isn’t very good and there was some damage to walls in the room. We had an incident with the staff, where some of them were quite rude. I get the impression they don’t like tourists, which I kind of understand, however, this area of the hotel (and the hotel itself) gave me the impression of a party area/hotel? I’m not sure why you would work in the hotel or industry if you were not willing to put up with this, to a certain point at least. I overheard a cleaner say tourists ruin the place! We were fined €100 for going in the pool after it was closed. We accept we were wrong and knew this and so apologised. The staff at reception then proceeded to ask us to pay a €250 fine! We thought this was very unfair. The situation escalated where we found the staff started to be rude to us. After an hour, we then agreed to pay a fine of €100, as the police were threatened to be involved. We think a written warning would have been sufficient for our actions, as there was nowhere in the rules that said you get fined a large amount for breaking rules. We also had to pay the fine in cash - this seems strange and also how the fine was reduced… we think they make up the rules as they please. I will also say, that not all staff are like this, some were actually very polite. The area is mainly Dutch/German tourists, so if you’re not from here, this is something to know.

My stay for 6 days was slightly alarming. You had to pay to have a remote which I was not pleased with and pay for the safe. The staff was lovely. The room never had a fridge which was annoying. The rooms were hard to find as the hotel is so big. More signage needed. Overall I would say6/10 I accidentally came out on the wrong floor and scanned a room door the door open-end. This was alarming it was the same place as the previous floor on the upper floor . I would recommend this for people that are not planning to spend much time in the hotel.

This property is very dirty. We had to switch rooms twice and then checked our an hour after checking in. The front staff was very kind and helpful, however, we are still trying to get our third night back for a refund as they only gave us two out of three even though it was so dirty we had to leave and book another hotel.

Roof top pool and lounge is very cool, good access to the beach, nice breakfast, room was ok but not great. There was only a sheet on the bed with no comforter and no refridgerator in the room or ice machine in the hotel. Staff was very friendly and informative, good stay overall.

OK room, service and ckeanliness, but mainly a place for young party goers, with lots of noise all night through. Difficult to get much sleep..

The room was filthy!!!! Trash under the bed gum, stuck to the floor, and old food and drinks in the fridge. But the location was excellent!

Only stayed overnight and the hotel was great for our needs. Very near to the beach.

Aircon didn’t work in our sea view room so had to change to another much smaller room, they refused to refund the difference. Both rooms needed a refurb or at least a good clean, bathroom tiny, shower flooded the bathroom, no balcony light, threadbare towels, i could go on……!

We’ll arrival and check in was smooth enough which was great as only booked the night before we stayed. Biggest issue and a major security one was our room was re let just 24 hours into our stay. Imagine I’m stood there in my pants with partner in the shower and the door clicks and two random blokes come in. After telling them where to go we went to reception and whilst very apologetic it should never have happened. Location is great for the beach but wow is it seriously noisy it is. The location is 24/7 full of smashed off there face screaming men and women from mostly 🇩🇪 The view was great from our room especially as you can glance away from the stunning sea view to look down to the street below and witness an extremely drunken chap be hurled from a cab into the road, pick himself up stagger all over then come into the hotel. Breakfast is good with plenty on offer , could do with more vegetarian options but so so much waste as people stack plates and leave for the bin. Not the titles fault but more the clientele. On breakfast issue is trying to get a table can be harder than finding a sober person in the area with the constant hunt for a cup for a hot drink. A few more staff should help this. In summary it’s cheap and you get what you pay for, outside is very very noisy 24/7 and the area it’s totally catered for travellers from Germany. If you want a local shop the use Ohana opposite the hotel, best value and a very polite family business

The service was brilliant! The elevator was a little disappointing, once we got stuck in the elevator and for the rest of the time the other elevator was a slow one.

The food is perfect, location and service too, but accommodation is not. Regarding cleanliness safety and security, there are many things to do.

Not a bad place for a Spanish 3 star.

First night we had to stay in another complex as all rooms were taken. Staying beside 5 Germans who played loud music all night. The next day after we complained, they put us in the room that we had booked. All day staff were very friendly and the rooms were cleaned every night. Rooftop pool and bar were also good. For the price it was very decent.

Poor cleaning, 5 days 1x change bathroom towel, bathroom smells sewer, and the food (half board) not great in my opinion

I have never traveled to Spain and did not know that it was necessary to check into the hotel with my passport. The lady at the desk would not let us check in under my friends passport or my two other forms of identification even though the hotel was already paid for. We had to return to our point of origin (a 25 euro taxi ride [30 min] then a 30 min bus ride to the harbor) to get it, then do the same process to come back. THEN the hotel had my reservation incorrectly as checking out the 19th instead of the 18th - even arguing with me about my booking on hotels.com. I liked the hotel, but was unhappy with the service.

Great staff, working in a hotel desperate for a refurbishment.

Chose this hotel as part of a cheap weekend away, the hotel for 2 nights was £64 so we weren't expecting much, upon arrival we were surprised, the hotel was clean, modern and a really good location. When we got to our room it was spacious, bright and clean however further inspection led to us being disappointed. The television didn't work - we had to plug it in ourselves and there was no remote. The shower was one of the worst i've encountered, the water trickled out. The room was also freezing, meaning our stay was uncomfortable.

Wristbands for indicating if you have purchased breakfast or half-board, were not something that I wanted to have to wear all day. Breakfast time is busy but the food is good and staff clean quickly. 10€ deposit for the TV remote control!?!??! Not many channels in English, but it was possible to turn off the Spanish overdub on some. One tiny lift (elevator) that, when it is working, is almost always full, better to use the stairs if you can. Never bothered to walk up to see the roof terrace on the 9th.

Nice stay

This hotel is next to the beach and is basic but has everything you need. It is clean and rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast was much better than I expected, good variety of hot foods, cereals, fruits and pastries, the fresh hot churros were a favourite we had everyday. It is located next to a beautiful beach but this is mostly a “German” area. Close to loads of restaurants, bars and shops. You have to leave a 10 Euro deposit for the tv remote but there was only one English Channel which was bbc news. It is 15 mins from airport and journey will cost less than 20 euros. Hotel is good value for money.

Fab hotel

Fabulous location, minutes from the beach Rooms small but clean, everything you need Reataurant food good, always something to choose from, microwave to heat up if not hot enough. All inclusive drinks are limited, but enough choice. Staff always very helpful Two pools, on roof top, views over the bay are amazing, nice solarium if to hot or crowded by the pool. I would not hesitate to book here again😀😀🌞🌞

I expected a little more, but still enjoyable

I spent 3 days (2 nights) at Whala! beach hotel. The breakfast was average, however, there was a variety to choose from. After a long day of travelling I was disappointed to find that there was rarely hot water in the shower in the afternoon. I would expect hot water all day. My room was quite spacious, in the sense that I was a solo traveler who got a room for four people. The staff members were not that helpful when I asked certain questions or when I needed help. I expected a bit more. Other than the above, the location is amazing with bus stops less than 500m from the hotel entrance. The bus stop for bus 21 from the airport is less than 5 minutes away which is great!

Fur coat no knickers

This hotel looks nice from the photos, but in reality it’s a sad tired hotel. The rooms are old cheap and tacky. The hotel is two different hotels joined together, which makes a rabbit warren of lifts and staircases. The all inclusive is not my idea of all inclusive, set times, rubbish snack bar, small plastic cups. All the n all I wouldn’t go back. Rubbish pools, don’t expect it to look like the promo pictures it’s 50% smaller.

The staff was wonderful! I loved the area and everything about it! Beds are hard but that’s way better than lumpy beds :p that’s honestly my only complaint about this place. I would still definitely come back to this hotel!

Totally disappointed

On checking in we were taken halfway to our room, when we arrived there was no kettle, the fridge was halfway in the room as it was plugged in through the front of an adjacent cupboard, the wooden floor planks were lifted by the fridge, tiles were missing from behind the cooker, the unit above had screws on the shelf, no door or back panel. The extractor fan was missing with a big hole in the ceiling and once again no back panel. Only 2 cups were provided for 3 of us despite booking in advance. Only 3 coat hangers were provided but were covered in heavy dust from the work which had obviously been half carried out inside the wardrobe. To cap it all off there was no hot water to wash or shower, when I reported this to reception (twice) they said it was being worked on but didn't know when it would be back on, it didn't come back on. There were no spare rooms to transfer to and to be honest as we were only staying one night with an early flight we ate out and just used the hotel to sleep. All in all the best thing about this hotel was the taxi to the airport!

Value for money , near beach

On arrival given a room in a seperate block to hotel. This room was dated, smelly and unpleasant. Next morning spoke to reception staff and they happily changed our room to a room in the main hotel. This was a much better standard of room with a side view of the beach. Cleaner only cleaned the room and changed towels once in the second day of our weeks stay. This hotel was in a good location and is value for money.

Brilliant Stay

Whala!Beach was a lovely hotel. Location was great as only a few steps to bars, restaurants and the beach. Lovely tours to go on but don’t book at the hotel. Lovely roof top sunbathing and small pool on one side and solarium and tiny pool on the other but great for the views and sunbathing. Downside: 35 euros for 6 days WiFi. Ridiculously small shower room for late check out with no towels available. If you ask for a late checkout to stay in your room it will cost you 60 euros for the privilege which is way over the actual price of a night’s stay. Food is very good with an excellent choice and the desserts are to die for...... The rooms were clean and spacious as was the balcony and the furniture in good condition. Was lucky to have a lovely large walk-in shower.

Their relocation cost me €10

Due to rain, there were rooms failing to deliver. For that reason, I was asked to relocate to a another hotel. Good news it was a 3 min drive away and they paid for transportation. The bad news was I had to pay an addition €10 when I got to the 2nd location. I appreciated them admitting that I could have a problem with the room. I was not happy about paying for their faults.

Fantastic view

Had super room Don Pedro 9th floor fantastic view , stayed 1 week half board , great food , lovely staff , beach just steps away , weather was super hot , read bad reviews before going ignore these it was super value and great location, great bars and restaurants.

Only good thing about this hotel is location

The location is great. The beach just step away from the hotel. Close to shop and restaurant. Easy access to the airport only 20 mins. Everything else is just average or poor. The hotel doesn't provide free wifi and the charge is pricey. TV in the room doesn't have a remote control. You have to pay deposit to use remote control and most of them are Spanish. There is no fridge in the room while the weather is so hot! The breakfast is the same every morning while we stayed for 5 days. Nothing changed on the menu. Day staffs are friendly and helpful but the night staffs and security guards just rude. The most stupid I found is the wristband. All guests had to wear the wristband 24hrs during stay in this hotel. It just not very uncomfortable and itchy . I had a bit of rash on my wrist. I took it off one night coz we went out to a nice restaurant. The security guards didn't let us in even though we showed them the wristband that we took it off. The staff was so rude and told us off. This is just so ridiculous. I know that they try to provide safety for guests but they should find others ways. I would say this is a 2 star hotel not 3.

The photos were very creative with what's there!

Looked lovely with the sun loungers and the pool. Thought I'd spend most my time there. But with a hotel with over 1,600 room to only have 15 sunbeds and some broken at that is a joke! Plus booked 2 twins bed and got squeezed into a room with one twin and a single and no room to move. Was at the back of the hotel with gaps in the patio door where daylight could be seen and terrible flooring that was lifting from wet in bathroom. Neighbours smiking in room coming through vet in bathroom to our room. Plus smokers above but ends and ash all over our towels and balcony in the morning. Food was very basic and the same most days so ended up going out and paying for food. Plus half board but still has to pay extra for drinks and coffe and yes not included with breakfast. So all in all local great, restaurants great, especially Del Sol but hotel never again!

Excellent Location, bad facilities.

We were really disappointed with the hotel layout/design. The hotel has 2 small lifts, one in the reception for rooms start with 90X and the other one on the first floor for rooms start with 100X, and there was a very small lift mainly for the staff use but we had to use it as the lift on the first floor was out of order most of the time 1-I and my family had to walk from the reception to the stairs and then go upstairs to the first floor and walk a long way to the lift with our suitcases . 2-I stayed 7 days in that hotel and the lift was out of order most of the time so we had to use the stairs most of the time,my room was on the 4th floor, and when I spoke to the staff there, they said they can't do anything as at least 100 visitors use the lift everyday therefore it keeps breaking !!! what an excuse. 3- There was a long way from the lift to the reception area and also from the lift to the buffet, 4-The breakfast and dinner were okay, the dessert/fruit section was good. 5-The main swimming pool was small and the one on the roof was even smaller 6- They need to do something for the rugs in the reception like staple or glue them on the floor as people kept tripping.

Join the party or stay somewhere else

As our taxi pulled up outside the hotel at 2am the street was full of rubbish and empty bottles of drink. The foyer was filthy and had 30 or so older teenagers and young twenty year olds waiting with their bags for pickup. We made our way to our room which was small and basic ready to sleep after a long day at work and around 8 hours travelling. We never got to sleep. The walls and windows let every sound in and the other hotel guests were running through the corridors, banging on doors, talking and playing music on their balconies. This was not one noisy room but lots of younger adults on holiday having a good time and we were in the wrong place. Six hours after checking in we checked out. The hotel were helpful, refunded the local tax we had paid early that day, confirmed they would only charge us /Expedia for one nights accommodation and called a taxi for us. I called Expedia customer services and they were brilliant. We found new accomodation and received the promised refund in a couple of days and had a great 5 day break. Hope you do too :)

Young persons hotel

Family with young child, one night stay before flight. The hotel was fine and the food good. the hotel seemed full with Spanish teenagers which meant the volume level was on high all night and not really ideal if you wanted to sleep. The volume was clearly not the fault of anyone just the sound of young people on holiday who don`t need to sleep at night! The hotel was handy for the airport in the morning.

Earplugs

Very noisy area, screaming people during nighttimes and early morning. If you like party it's probably the hotel you look for. The food was Ok and breakfast good. The local tax could only be paid in cash upon arrival.

Don't bother

Room had a smell of sewage every time we flushed the toilet making it a not so very pleasant place to want to spend time, food was usual mediocre at best, expensive wifi.

The staff is very nice, but the hotel itself was a bit outdated and it seems that they do not clean the carpet very often.

Needs some work!

This hotel has the potential to be really great but there are some basics that need a lot of attention. We booked the hotel for it's location which is fantastic, the staff were friendly and accommodating in moving us to a new room after our 'considerate' neighbours had carried on until 3am for 4 nights in a row- unfortunately the rooms are far from sound proof. The view from the top floor terrace is also incredible. The pics don't lie on this although the pool is tiny. Areas for improvement: Sound proofing is a major requirement; Invest in a few more coffee machines at breakfast- takes an age to get a cup. Consider offering Wi-Fi for free- it's really expensive at the hotel (€10 a day/ €40 per week or something like that) or at least for a lower fee. The safe key comes with a cost- although minimal, this to me should be a given in a hotel not an additional fee. The lifts need a serious revamp- slow and the buttons don't really work so you will land up taking the stairs. The bedding should likely be replaced soon too and perhaps leave a spare blanket in the cupboard. As a whole, quantity not quality at this hotel. Staff great but management should consider spending a bit improving the place- it would attract less unfavourable reviews. Would not recommend staying here.

Close to the beach.

Great location, just a 2 minute walk to the beach. However, the rooms are actually quite noisy with thin walls. Absolutely the best thing about my stay was the food buffet, excellent! However it's 2016 and there is a €40 charge for WiFi for 5 days. Nice and friendly staff through out the hotel.

Hotel charges for every single service like Internet, extra Towels, safe usage etc. extra.

Since what I have paid was quite cheap I suppose I can't complain much. But it is literally you get what you pay for. Low quality everything, except for the staff that are nice.

Only good thing was hotel close to beach

Arrived at hotel 2 single beds one higher than the other no power points worked hairdryer did not work, air-conditioning was so noisy, food disgusting, had to drink from plastic tumblers I certainly wound not recommended this hotel, the price we paid was not worth the standard of service received

Good location

Rooms not so clean and not enough storage, wardrobe space. There was more space on the balconies! Beds not comfortable, bathroom not spacious enough, knees would touch the opposite wall when sitting in the loo! It's a place to crash in if you are on a very short break and the beach is a stone's throw away. We were not impressed with the dinner as they serverd a lot of fish dishes which am allergic to, although the breakfast was good.

Apart from drunken German youths, making a lot of noise at all times of the day and night, it was a very good stay.

The hotel was great. Only 30 second walk to the beach. The only complaint I have is my 11 month old son was up all night due to loud music, banging on walls and people partying until 3am. Other then that the hotel was very clean and awesome location!

Nice view. Nice location. Bad room.

Room is comfortable but aircon didnt work properly came on and off all the time. Things were falling apart and it hadnt been swept under the bed. View however was beautiful and staff were pleasant! Alot of youngsters SUPER noisy. Had to complain several times but they dealt with it and kicked out the culprits.

The rooms the gave us was like in a prison for 20€ per night the room was acaptable - food no tast and not big variants . Elevator was katastrope. Cleaning verry lousy

Disaster Really

Got there and staff at reception don't speak English, bar staff were lovely, many cracks within the room and on the balcony, and the food was limited and the same stuff was out every night and every lunch. There were not enough sun loungers to go around for everyone and the lift was slow.

Overfeeded with buffet in a pleasing way. Thank you, Whala!beach.

wouldnt recommend it

strict on check in and departing times. charge for everything they could such as safe key, 30 euros, kettle 20 euros and remote for tv and that was for 7 days charged me for phoning to confirm my departure pick up time as no fax received from company unless you are inclusive, drinks at dinner - including water - can only be purchased rooms small and in a single room, the only socket for plugging in my phone and kettle was under a table i was lucky, my room had a balcony which had a view, of sorts, and got the sun from about 8am - noon many rooms did not get any sun and looked out onto a wall and people complained those rooms were cold only 1 lift for the main part of the building which was slow and you often couldn't get in it it as was full up especially at meal times and check in/departure times food ok Staff attitude was so-so. there were a couple of very helpful ones but on the whole they didnt care

Hotel looked nice and clean downstairs on arrival

Meals and service were good, rooms clean. Balconies were appalling,Too close together with no sun reaching them. All conversations clearly audible, access to rooms from outside was more than possible. Toilet noises from adjacent rooms was unpleasant, very small pool on the roof with no changing facilities or showers, indoor pool couldn't be used because far too cold to swim. Lack of sun beds and chairs. Overall, the hotel did not offer good facilities, free wi fi ought to have been available, walls were thin, noise levels really bad,

Great location, everything within walking distance.Beach was lovely.Hotel food was excellent with lots of choice.Pool terrace and bar were handy for sunbathing.Wish they had some entertainment so I would say not suitable for young kids as they aren't really catered for in this hotel but for myself and my 9 year old daughter it was perfect.Would stay again.

Spotless hotel with excellent staff

I was disappointed with the ground floor swimming pool as it was very very small & surrounded by tall buildings. The roof top pool again was very small (my husband called it a puddle) although the location was slightly better...at least you could see the sky. Apart from that the hotel was extremely good in all respects. e.g staff, cleanliness, service, food & drinks. I was not impressed by the resort but the beach was outstanding.

False advertising by Expedia.

We booked this hotel six months ago expecting a room as advertised by Expedia with a sea view. When We got to check in, the hotel staff gave us a room over looking the pool on a low level, this room 1118 wasn't fit for a dog with broken floors and two beds which were different sizes, we didn't except this room and when back to the front desk. The second room they offered was an extra 10€ a night, with a sea view, this room had a horrible smell of fish, so we didn't except this room either. Now feeling like I wanted to cry at this stage, as we had been looking forward to this holiday for ages, they gave us a room on the 9th floor room 902, no sea views. It was the better of all but small and again not the room we thought we were getting. We had four nights in this room, and the manager said on our fourth day, that he had a room with a sea view if we pay a extra 20€ a night. We looked at the room first and agreed to pay the extra as that was the room advertised by Expedia in the first place, We try to explain to the staff that we shouldn't of paid any extra as that was the picture of the room when I booked the holiday, and I was told to take it up with Expedia. This room was nicer, but the air con was broken. We just wanted what we paid for in the beinging but had to get it at a cost to us! So all in all We are not happy, with Expedia or the hotel.

Good location and away from the night clubs

Location was good although it was hard to find on the GPS. The hotel also offer no car parking and we had to park about a 20 minute walk away which was quite frustrating having to lug all our bags back to the hotel. Parking spaces are rare around the hotel. Also we are a young couple and they only have rooms with single beds which isn't the most romantic way to spend an island holiday.

Close to the beach,good food,poor facilities

Small swimming pool,old furniture. Good location. Nice range of food. Very bad sound isolation in the room.

Black and White

No information in advance, that the hotel has 2 parts and that I will be placed in the second part that was not shown on the advertisement. The tiles on the balconies are broken. View from the room is towards some strange homes. The door of the shower cabin was not repaired until the end of my stay.

Great Place, bad experience

Second day i was trying to get some coke from the canteen when a member of staff stepped to me asking where my bracelet is. Obviously i had no idea what she was talking about and i kept asking. She jumped to a guest and showed me his bracelet which signifies what you can or cannot eat. I told her that nobody told us about the bracelet and let me go to the reception to clarify that. I was going to leave the coke on my table which to she said NO sorry you cannot. Again humiliated! I am diabetic and i was getting quite frustrated as i needed my food. Took me an other 20 minutes to get the bracelets and yes part of the truth that i should not have had any soft drinks as it wasn't in the package i paid for. Later that day me and my girlfriend was coming back to the hotel and half way to the lift a security guy ran after us saying that my girlfriend has to check in. A Nigerian gentleman in a rude manner asked my girlfriend who she is and when she checked in. I was gonna tell him that is our 3rd day which to he said i am talking to her. Luckily my girlfriend speaks spanish (unlike this guy) and explained him that we came together. It was confirmed by his colleague next to him but he was getting agitated and kept playing Sherlock Holmes. Later that day he also stopped us saying i have to put on my t-shirt, not considering the other 100s of German drunk guys and girl walking around half naked all day. Other members of staff confirmed this guy receives the most complaints. No manners

Never again

It was like being in a 18-30 club resort shouting the fire alarms being set off doors slamming at 1 3 4 5 6 am the all inclusive food was ok if you ask for water you got a small plastic cup the walls were all damaged where drunk people had ripped the round rugs off. Swimming pool was tiny.

Cheap and cheerful. Expect what you pay for.

Hard to give a balanced review on this as expectations in quality are dependant on price paid. Stayed here one night and the "Apartment" was clean. Staff friendly and cheerful. Apartment quality & build felt like old student accommodation. "Kitchen" was a sink & two hotplates. Furniture & fittings like old ikea. However, the price paid was very cheap. Arrived in the evening & checked out in the morning to move on to our proper hotel & saved a lot of money (on flights) and got an extra day to enjoy our holiday. The main thing was we got a decent nights sleep. Job done.

An aweful experience

Upon arriving in Mallorca I was firstly disappointed to find that our transfer was not waiting for us. After waiting for more time that I liked I had to go and find the company to arrange a transfer. Once we got to our hotel we were greeted with a walk to the hotel (as apparently there was no where to stop) and a lobby full of 15/16 year old. We waited for an hour to check in. Once in our room we started to unpack, after looking out on our 7th floor balcony (which we were greeted by a wall in front of us with no light, and a view straight into a lot of other rooms) we found that the door didn't close properly. This was an issue for 2 main reasons, one being from a security point of view (as a lot of the hidden were climbing from balcony to balcony) at which point we had not option but to pay for a safe under fear of someone climbing to our balcony. Secondly if the door wasn't closed the air conditioning would not work. At which point we we asked reception to fix this, they came and closed the door, which would mean we could use the AC but every time we opened the door it would break. After exploring the heavily German area (I thought I booked a Spanish destination) we came back to out room and retired I to bed. When lying in bed we could hear footsteps of people walking up the stairs, the lift being called no t to mention the extraordinarily loud clientele on their balconies and in their rooms. This twinned with the lack of air con meant that we got very little sleep. I

To noisy, felt like a 18-30 hotel. Would not recommend for families or couples.

Close to Beach

Close to beach and the best sunset view on the entire strip 30sec walk to the beach 1hr bus ride to Airport 30min to 1hr bus to Palma (depending if you catch the express or not) TV remote is a 10Euro deposit Beds make lots of noise, was constantly afraid I would wake the other person in the room. Breakfast was good. Most of the staff was good. I was not able to get ice when my mom slipped in the hotel because I might keep the cup in my room and they had no bags. There were drunk teenagers running around at all hours, particularly when the sun went down. The last night they were jumping balconies and when we got up at 6 am to checkout some where still partying. Needless to say you aren't getting much sleep. We have all been young before but my mom raised my right not to do what these kids were doing - throw food in the hallway, bang on all the room doors, hop balconies, have a party in the hallway, trash the beach (I know it was the same group of kids, because you could not miss them). If you don't mind teenagers that apparently have never experienced being out in the world without adult supervision and their parents did not teach them respect for other people and places, then you shall be fine here.

Friendly staff except from the manager

hotel manager was very rude. We were a group of 24 people all doing sports, and the staff in general was friendly and help some, but the Manager was an angry man pointing out that we could not sit on the floor in the lounge area, not wear our wet suits out of the hotel (dry off course) even though swim suit was allowed...

Good value for money, great location!

I went for 4 nights with a couple of friends. Room was nice, clean and a decent size for 3 of us. No free wifi was disappointing and the food was ok. We struggled as myself and my friend have ciliacs and they did not cater for allergens. Location was excellent right in front of the beach. I imagine if you get a room with a view it would be beautiful! The area was idea, close to the airport to get a cheap bus or taxi. Palma is also a bus journey away for 1.50 euro. El Arenal has plenty of restaurants, shops and bars along the beach front. Overall good value for money! Would recommend.

Confused

Great stay until man let himself into my room at 3.50 in morning didn't knock and introduce himself as staff only said reports of someone on balcony and said sorry when confronted and left so left me worry for rest of stay as I was on my own with young kids.

Hotel very clean room cleaned everyday fresh towel

The hotel near the beach lovely but if you go off the main part you will find excellent tapas bars. The Tex Mex restraunt was good food their was a Liverpool sports bar on strip was good friendly. Down part the lucky lucky men constantly harassed you intruded on your conversation by the minutes !!!
