Good Hotel, not worth price.
Very Nice hotel, just not worth the price paid.
Terrible stay
We waited 2 hours to get into our room at the hotel as they were overbooked. We went here to celebrate our wedding Anniversary such a disappointment and the room had issues with stuff not working.
Awesome hotel
Luxury and convenience abound at this exquisite property. Staff were very accommodating and pleasant. Loved this place
I’ve stayed at a lot of 5 star hotels. This was the best experience I’ve ever had. Over the top service and accommodations.
THE BEST STAY I’ve had in a very long time!!! Absolute perfection in service and hospitality!!! Highly highly recommend this resort!!
Excellent
There is construction going on around. Other than that, it was a great stay.
Goff
Great hotel and staff.
Attention to detail was exquisite from all staff members.
The staff is friendly and accommodating from check-in, to room service, dining, and parking. The room was clean and quiet.
Beautiful property, customer service is above and beyond. Close to Park City Main Street shopping and dining.
The customer service is excellent
Everything was excellent!
The area was so beautiful, and the hotel staff were all friendly. What was missing was adding a section inside the only small shop of clothing some fast food, drinks, etc to the store.
Had the best time in the most beautiful hotel!
Beautiful! Everyone so friendly and accommodating! Property pristine. However, they should clean the mirror behind the bar in the restaurant. However, the mirror is quite minor!
Wonderful aesthetics with comfort issues
Lovely venue, great service but bed was horribly hard and uncomfortable including thin, rough linens. Powder is a lovely restaurant onsite with amazing menu & service
The staff was amazing. Very personable and went out of their way to accommodate any questions or requests.
Lovely room, very clean, too. Accommodating staff.
Everything was great with the exception of pool area. We waited 45 min for anyone to assist us in getting a drink. They were busy and obviously short staffed. I ended up just getting my own water. Joe, the shuttle driver was the best part of experience. He was friendly, informative and obviously knew PC very well. The room was adequate. I expected a bath tub and balcony. Guess bathtubs aren’t necessary anymore. Bathroom was much smaller than other hotels for similar costs, but clean. The staff we did run in to (custodial) were very friendly and accommodating.
You always had to use the car to explore area. Sometimes communication with stuff was challenging because of their missing language skills. But they were friendly. Little lack of maintenance in the suite: TV didn't work properly - even after technician was there. Some bulbs in several lamps were burnt out but housekeeping didn't replace them - even they turned the lamps always on when done with the room.
The staff at the hotel is very attentive. It's a beautiful facility… A diamond in the rough. The dining options were super limited. There was only one restaurant. For some odd reason the staff did not replenish my coffee or clean my coffee cups very strange. I will do that as well situated for skiers specifically beautiful facility.
Simply the Best!
Great place for big spenders
Wonderful! High class, incredible service. Valet parking is not optional and overnight parking was like $30 per night. Just FYI.
Beautiful property! Have to give shoutout to their Manager Ali, who went above and beyond to make our stay special. Beautiful property with great service. The restaurants bartender Travis accommodated our requests for special drinks and always has a smile ready.
Lovely facility and exceptional staff
Great staff, excellent service and the skii valet service made our trip extra special. I also enjoyed the spa which was impeccably clean and peaceful. My husband and I hope to return again next year as this property was well above our expectations.
Never going back….shameful to be rated a 5 star …poor housekeeping, Powder restaurant was so deceiving, management kept apologizing but errors continued to happen…
I have never stayed at a Waldorf Astoria property before, but the insane price and storied name made me expect way more than what was offered. There was only one restaurant, one rather small lobby, staff was kind but absent-minded and seemingly short-staffed, and when they say your room is ready at 4:00, don’t expect it ready much before that. Everybody had to hang out in the lobby for hours waiting on their room. Rooms were average and on the small side. Our phone didn’t work in the room, so you couldn’t call down to the front desk to request towels, call the valet, nothing. Windows were drafty. Glad there was a fireplace in the room to help take the chill off. I think they charge those ridiculous rates because you literally are right across from the lifts for the mountain. But there’s a Wyndham that looked really nice on the same cul de sac with the same access. I’m guessing it costs a lot less than $1,200 a night. Also, all the “action” is in Deer Valley (shops, restaurants, etc.) so you have to drive down there or take a Hotel shuttle to get down there. Bottom line: decent hotel in a convenient location if you like to ski, but nothing special and definitely not worth what they are charging you.
Horrible service for the price that we paid.
Exceptional! Everyone was friendly & super helpful! Extremely top notch!!!
The staff was awesome, especially Travis in the Powder bar. The property was stunning.
Great place - It's the Waldorf !!
Grecia was exceptional. She made the stay even more enjoyable !!
It was a very nice
Ski in, Ski out!
Liked the Christmas decorations, beverages in the lobby, hot tub outdoors...
Couldn’t get our jetted tub to work….wasn’t aware of the need for reservations at the restaurant…everyone was awesome clean rooms
The Waldorf Astoria is an iconic brand with a reputation for superior quality, service and customer experience. However, this particular property was disappointing as the interior of the hotel (rooms/corridors) were tired and in need of updating. Linens & beds were superior, but cheap irons/blow dryers, scratched furniture, outdated flooring, furnishings, missing amenities in the kitchens and just a general refresh/remodel is needed. If we were staying at a traditional Hilton hotel, that's fine, but we were staying at a Waldorf (with Waldorf pricing), which means the whole experience should be exceptional, which on the contrary was disappointing.
This was supposed to be a very special and personal trip for us. We chose the Waldorf because their reputation from family members who had frequently visited in the past, made us excited, we would have a stay to remember the rest of our lives as a milestone event. The property itself is amazing. The service in the Restaurant, not so much. We had an all day couples spa treatment where we ordered our meal at the onset, to be ready for us at a scheduled time. When we were escorted to the Restaurant, they didn't have our meal ready. After waiting 2 hours for our meal, with a waitress that was snotty and ended up walking off because her shift had ended, leaving us sitting there hungry, and wondering if an order had even been put in for us, the manager offered to comp drinks for my pregnant wife and I in the bar. Um... yeah. They also forgot to tell us that the water in our room would be shut off EVERYDAY from 12pm - 1pm. This was a major inconvenience. When we called the front desk about this, we were told to go shower at the pool locker room. We understand there are bad employees, and we understand sometimes things can go wrong, but there were too many instances unrelated to each other and that management had no remedy other than to throw alcohol at us, was concerning. None of us will be recommending the Waldorf to anyone.

Beautiful pool helpful staff and close to the base of the mountain for hiking and biking
Great for summer, I'd be disappointed in winter
Beautiful hotel. Wonderful, welcoming people that worked there from the valet to the front desk to anyone you saw roaming the halls. Oh, and can't forget our bartender who was awesome! The hottub was welcoming after a week of hiking, as I'm sure the spa would have been too, if it were a bit cheaper. We weren't sure about the location but in the summer with not a lot going on anyway, being that far from downtown Park City or any of the ski plazas it was fine. There is a ski lift right there so it would be considered ski in, not sure about ski out though and again quite a hike to get to the ski apres fun areas in the winter. The room was nice, standard. But a great large bathroom with walk-in shower and separate soaking tub! I've had more comfortable beds though.
We had an amazing stay we were personally
Not the Waldorf experience we expected.
The hotel is nice at first glance, but the room was definitely lacking. We stayed in the 1 bedroom bi-level suite, and for being called a suite, it was kind of disappointing. The main bathroom had hair all over the walls and drain. The kitchen faucet would do nothing but spray everywhere. The lamps didn't work in our room. For parking, the EV parking stalls were always taken up by non-EV's. All in all, just okay.
Skiing had finished a few weeks prior. The resort area was very quiet and solitary with beautiful views of the snow capped mountains.
Excellent experience , We have just arrived Will know better in few days
Excellent!
Loved location Team Service Quality View
Value didn't quite match the experience
Great location, quiet but still close to Park City center. The staff was great. The room was small, felt crammed for just having two queens. The pool was good but a little cold for this time of year, and the towel cart was missing/no towels easily available at the gate. We went with the kids for a staycation and planned to watch some a Disney movie or two, but the Apple TV wouldn't work with the way the internet was provided, and the hotel doesn't have smart TVs so we couldn't log into our account that way either. I called the front desk for help, but they were not able to provide a solution. There were some signs of lack of maintenance, like a few light bulb out around the pool and other little things. Value didn't quite match the experience.
Excellent service, friendly staff. Beautiful atmosphere, can't wait to go back
Even during a pandemic WA knocked it out od the park with a beautiful facility and amazing service. Fall foliage, fires for relaxing and s'mores- what more could one ask for?
Bad experience
Front desk clerk not very welcoming. We set up cleaning our room at 11am and house keeping arrived at 3:30pm. ‘Powder’ restaurant have awful food + slow service, waiting for drinks 35 min, then I received wrong glass of champagne, undercooked meal. Breakfast on the second day, in room service I placed order for two only arrived for 1 person. Besides loud noise at 3am from construction trucks already. I wish I will know prior to my booking about this hotel service and that they having a construction just in from of it was our room. Horrible experience
Rooms and food were amazing. We had wonderful service in both the restaurant and spa as well.
We thought the staff was super friendly. Property very clean and rooms are comfy
Safe traveling
Amazing stay. Everything was Covid clean and we felt very safe.
Family Vaca
They upgraded us to a very nice room that made our stay wonderful. We are Hilton honors members. We loved our stay.
Romantic Getaway
Weekend with the wife and it was great! Beautiful room with a view. Great food and service. Pool was awesome. Hot tub was romantic
Really nice Hotel
Very clean, definitely stay here in the future
Talk about expectations being shattered! I was so very excited on our way up thinking we were on for a real special night in a worldly hotel where we would be treated like royalty and have a room fit for a king/queen. For over $400 a night, you would hope there was something above and beyond a regular $100/night spot... am I right? I was disappointed on every level. No special treatment, no nice room and nothing more than a typical hotel room and as a matter of fact - less. It was MAYBE 200 SQ ft and had the smallest "jetted tub" inside a small bathroom I've seen. The room was basic - a bed, small sofa in front of a little fake fireplace insert, a kitchenette with literally not one dish nor silverware. The free 2 bottles of water in the fridge were really our only come up besides the view from the balcony on our 6th floor room. Another downside was that the hotel was basically empty and they put someone right next to us where our balcony and theirs were connected. They could have skipped a room, or 7, and we would have had a little more privacy... but they didn't. I called down to the desk for coffee cups and silverware and a valet finally picked up the phone after it being busy and ringing and ringing and they said they would try and get someone to help. Eventually someone brought up 6 coffee mugs and nothing else. No spoon to stir it or silverware out plates for dinner. Thanks. The coffee maker was way too complicated for me to comprehend.
Beautiful, not too large, nice dining, convenient.
Great hotel. Great service and amenities Best location and ski rental on sight
Beautiful property. The area of the hotel I was in was under construction. There was a lot of wood left in the hallways. The fire alarm went off for about 15 minutes Tuesday morning while I was in the shower. No one followed up or even apologized for the inconvenience. I think it was due to the construction.
Very attentive staff, and everything was amazing. Great room and views of the mountain- Will be coming back for sure!
Point 2 Point race weekend.
The pool and hot tubs were great! Loved the outdoor S’mores around the fire pit at night. Loved the pet friendly atmosphere. Staff was very nice. Did not like that we could not get a late check out when needed—even after we were told no one was going to be checking into our room because it was going out of service for renovation. Wish they had a self park option. The valet parking only situation get crazy crowded out front at times. Also super inconvenient if you leave one small item in your car. They also need more than one restaurant choice. Only one—which is berry good but also $$$$$ Need an option for cheaper meals with families.
Our suit was dirty upon arriving! Dust all over everything looked out of place etc. No housekeeping the first day, no turn down service the first night. We had to call to find out why this wasn’t being done, so we did just that and it was a we are so sorry and a hand written note apologizing for unclean room. The hotel and the rooms are very outdated for the price you pay. One thing is for sure the valet guys are beyond knowledgeable of the area and provide good ideas of where to site see etc, they were so friendly! As for the hotel staff, very rude, didn’t know anything it seemed about the area, especially the concierge, how can you be such a luxury hotel and not provide info to your guests. Back to housekeeping, it wasn’t until the day before we left that they finally cleaned the room and did the job you would expect. We were given a cheap bottle of wine for the inconvenience to us! That’s some five star appreciation right there! Lol literally $12 bottle of cheap wine. I even spoke to a manger concerning our room and he put me off as if it were not a big deal. It’s a huge deal when you pay these kind of prices to stay there. A lot of the staff acted as if you were putting them out, but the valet guys totally made up for it! Awesome job valet! Not sure I will ever stay here again.
Location and views are beautiful. Rooms are spacious. Majority of staff was extremely friendly and nice especially valet and pool. Hotel lacks ice vending machine. We only found one Ice vending machine in the building which was very far away from my room. The property had only one restaurant and pool bar. Given it’s remote location, it needs a small sundry shop in small café so people can grab fruit muffins, coffee etc
Staff was great. Five star hotel that felt like it!
5 star experience at the Waldorf Park City
My wife and I had a weekend stay at the Waldorf Astoria Park City and it was outstanding! The Waldorf provided one of the the best customer service experiences we've ever had while visiting a hotel/resort. A special thank you to Lindsay and Tami in Guest Services. You two helped make my wife's birthday weekend great! Also, thank you to Snook Lee at the Powder restaurant. You provided great service! Next time we're visiting Park City it will be hard to stay anywhere else. The Waldorf set the bar high!
Great hotel, service and pool. Gym needs improvement, good trails around. Very good service.
Nice stay
This is absolutely a spectacular hotel The employees at the hotel are very friendly and professional Waldorf Astoria has done it again simply the best
Nice pool and pool service. Great bar at Powder. Friendly staff. Good Valet service.
The Waldorf Astoria is a beautiful property. The staff was amazing and the spa was more than relaxing. I mentioned it was birthday at check in and that night the front desk sent half a dozen cupcakes to my room.
Nice hotel
We enjoyed our stay at the Waldorf Astoria, and other than the 1:00 wake up call because of a fire alarm going off, it was a very nice stay. They gave us a credit to make up for the unfortunate incident, but it would have been better if they would have taken it off the price of the hotel, rather than a credit that was lose it or use it during our stay. Overall, it could have been better if they had taken the credit off our room, rather than given us money we didn't really need to spend. Next time we won't pay in advance, as we really didn't need anything other than a place to stay.
The spa was excellent except that the locker room was way too small.
Quick weekend getaway
Much needed relaxing stay close to the mountain for easy access mountain biking. Highly recommend.
We loved everything but there were a few things that seemed pretty dated. Our room door was very rickety, the TV was outdated and didn’t have access to Netflix or Hulu or anything. And there were no good options for in room entertainment. However, everything else was great. The exercise room was impressive and had nice, up to date equipment, the pool and hot tub area was excellent, the grounds were great and well kept. The staff was excellent and valet service was great. Poolside food and the powder restaurant were also very good. We were very impressed with the high quality at powder especially. Overall it was a great experience and we felt pampered and relaxed.
Location. Great lobby and rooms. Nice Valet service and outdoor fire pits.
The Waldorf staff is very friendly and accommodating. Here's what we loved: * Powder makes a very good meal. The buffalo and bavette were done perfectly as we asked. We also very much enjoyed talking to Chef Schaefer. * We loved our couples massage in the spa, and the steam room was warm enough to be enjoyable. (Unlike the lukewarm tub) * The location is great. It allows you to get to park city, but is also a great place to go on hikes. * The rooms were clean and everything around us for most of the trip felt clean and well maintained. * The hotel was pretty accommodating with my night owl lifestyle. We did have some minor problems. By themselves none of these problems are major, but the minor annoyances do start to add up. * We were placed directly across from a construction zone. I understand construction must be done, but it definitely spoiled the view. * They held a wedding ceremony in the LOBBY, which was highly inconvenient. Strange that there's not a better or more out-of-the-way location. I believe both the hotel guest and wedding guests * We weren't given a DnD sign, and had to request one on two different days after being awakened by housekeeping. * We requested the dirty dishes taken out of our room following room service. We called at noon and the request was unfulfilled. All told it's very likely I'll stay here again, so I don't want it to sound like I'm unhappy or complaining too much! Everyone treated us well and we had a great time.
Wonderful
Amazing location, great service, excellent service
Nice Bar tender
Just an over night stay but the staff was excellent. Bar tender was very engaging and gave us suggestions on where to eat which we did take his recommendations! Edge Steakhouse was excellent and the next day we did lunch at No Name Saloon, both were great! Hotel also has car service that took us and picked us up from dinner.
I didn't stay here- it was a weekend for my parents but they only had good things to say about their time on property.
This resort is up there with the best. Local transport both by the hotel and locally provided is excellent. The hotel itself provides an outstanding service.
Our stay took place towards the end of ski season, so staff turnover was evident, as was some end-of-season fatigue. Certain personnel were brand new to their positions and, in some instances, requests for information were met with shoulder shrugs and suggestions that we check things ourselves on line. Other staff were superlative, so it was not an indictment of the hotel overall, just an observation that for the price we paid, we expected more consistency of service. The rooms and property were fine and the spa and gym were top notch. The location of the hotel requires ground transportation to anywhere other than to the Canyons Ski Resort, which means that access to dining and other options is dependent on the Hotel shuttle or Uber/Lyft.
Not worth the price tag
I was not impressed with our room at all. Also, it is on a busy road further away from Main Street then we wanted to be
it was a problems since we got to the place, i try to change my original stay and contact your reservation center who said i can be done if the hotel authorize it, i contact the hotel director, (jacob) who told me he hadn't been contact by hotels, com staff, he say he would contact me of course that didn't happened, after all this the house keeping of our room every day was terrible, towels in the floor, no working toilets, no replace of amenities, etc etc etc, the ski concierge staff, are kids playing al day, please send someone to learn at four seasons vail to see what ski concierge is all about, not recommended to anyone, the price of the room doest mach what you recibe, this place should be a four point by hilton, not a waldorf
We made such a great decision in choosing Waldorf Astoria for our Christmas Vacation. The staff was so helpful in making our stay perfect. The ski valet made life so easy for us in getting our gear from the room to the gondola. Our daughter loved the s’mores by the fire each night and we loved having a kitchen with the suite option. There is also a great shuttle to take you to Main Street which was great! Overall the best family vacation we’ve had.
We loved the valet service and ski valet service. They did an excellent job. Also, the front desk staff were all extremely personable and helpful throughout our stay.
Service is always second to none. All of the amenities are first class and the shuttle is great to town. We especially love the s’mores each night and how cozy, yet elegant, the place feels. Truly world class.
Well maintained and very close to the gondola. Service was good!
Amazing place, amazing service. Will be back!
I will definitely will be coming back, through my whole stay this place was amazing. Staff was very attentive and nice.
Absolutely a wonderful place to stay Lovely hotel and incredible restaurant Powder Super nice staff Perfect location Loved it
5 stars and deserves more for everything great since arriving
We were promised a balcony with a fireplace and didn't have one. Disappointing!
Waldorf Wow-storia!
Loved our stay! Beautiful resort and top-notch service. Our complaint about VERY noisy neighbors was handled immediately and exceptionally. Pricey, but awesome!
All the folks servicing the Waldorf Astoria Park City really made our stay fabulous and the suite we stayed in was outstanding!
