Great hotel

Everything was excellent regarding the hotel its just in a secluded area, you have to take a taxi or have a car to get to restaurants or the boardwalk area.

Good for solo travellers

The staff throughout were delightful and very receptive to any needs. There was nothing that irritated me about the room, everything I needed was there. As a solo traveller, I wouldn't have said no to more English speaking channels (one doesn't always want to be out alone at night) but what there was, was fine, good choice of news and movies in English. I was unforntunate enough to catch a bug when I was in Dubai and so had to be room bound for a bit. The hotel noticed I had Do not Disturb on my door for a while and were kind enough to phone the room and ask if I was ok. I found that rather impressive. So thanks to housekeeping and Daiana for being thoughtful.It is a hotel I would return to. Great orange juice btw.

Outdated, not a 5 star resort

Hotel is outdated. Rooms are outdated. Rooms are also too dark even with the lights on. Curtains ripped. Stains on pillows, stains on patio couches. Unable to accommodate with Nut allergy. Random excuses. Limited food options. Buffet breakfast or Bar Al a cart. Bar breakfast was excellent, but wish there was a restaurant with outside seating for breakfast. Drinks at a pool/wet deck were also diluted and weak. Staff was nice, welcoming, friendly. No complaints about staff.

Absolutely dreadful after service - I cannot contact the hotel at all to get a copy bill - the IT systems were down when we checked out!!

Cool Location but far from the city - keep that in mind.

From the get go the room at a nearly $1K US a night had so many many things not working properly it was awful. It was a challenge to find correct lighting. Auto curtains did not work. The air conditioning did not get it cool enough and the smell of the room was awful. We should have moved the next day !!! What’s worse is we had attended a Halloween event and upon return had a major issue !!! A cab returned us to the hotel and requested 4 times the amount it had cost to get to the event. SCAM/FRAUD The hotel only caused more problems now ever the front desk tried to help w/overall extremely poor attempt to correct or compensate. This could have easily been avoided had the security/front door been a lil brighter. He actually pushed me to pay the rate almost as if he was in on the scam !!!! This issue is NOT RESOLVED w/the W trying to dismiss the actions even after review of camera trying to pass the blame !!! My ancillary time for this issue is now into the hrs and they feel a small compensation of incidentals will suffice. THEY R WRONG !!

Great experience, love the swanky vibe.

Expected a seamless check in since they emailed us multiple times requesting our flight information and arrival times. Booked a marvelous suite room and confirmed a 2pm arrival. Arrived at check in at 2:15 they told us the previous guest checked out at noon and they needed 30 minutes to finish cleaning and gave us the keys to a regular room until ours was finished. No problem, and a nice gesture. An hour later, no call, so we call down to reception who tell us they will check and call back but should be less than 30 minutes. 2 hours later, call again with same answer. We are both jetlagged and tired and have reservations to a show and dinner downtown. Finally go downstairs and talk to someone new thankfully. She comes upstairs 10 minutes later with our suite keys and we rush upstairs to shower and change frantically to get ready for our show. Complete waste of paying for a suite since the 4 hour's of the day we wanted to spend enjoying it we couldn't. Which we wouldnt of minded as much if the receptionist didnt keep lying to us. Just tell us from the beginning it wont be ready for 4 hours not itll be 30 minutes over and over. As a guy its not a big deal for me. But my wife thought we would be changing rooms quickly sowas hesitant to unpack all her bags to find her dress and makeup and shoes and accessories only to repack everything. Turns out we could of. Besides that the suite ( and temporary room) were nice. Most of the staff were friendly. Clean and very nice pool areas

I stayed at the W for my birthday celebrations with my best friend. It was the perfect girls trip with a great combination of party vibes but also luxury rest. We were hugely greatful for our room with the terrace that overlooked the pool. The breakfast staff were incredibly welcoming every morning and the food was of a very high standard with lots of choice. We’ll be returning to the W again and I would recommend anyone wanting a more adult friendly palm experience

Great hotel

Great stay. the pool and beach was fun and the food was really good. We at the buffets and at the restaurants. Was kid friendly but also felt hip for young parents. Akira the Japanese restaurant was so nice to us and accommodated our two little kids while allow us parents to have a fine dining experience.

Awful checkin process very slow. Over an hour after arrival called to see where luggage was and they couldn’t find it. In total took 1hour 40mins to receive luggage because they had to find it. Shower also flooded bathroom, on arrival so had to call to get it fixed. However, the pool and beach was amazing. Amazing roof top views of the palm from SoBe. And very good sized room and balcony with good air conditioning. But checkin process was very stressful and I’d expect significantly better from a 5 star hotel and not for our luggage to go missing.

We absolutely loved our stay at the W Palm! Everything was beyond perfection and the staff were all the loveliest. Everyone was willing to go above and beyond at all times for everything without being asked, made the stay super special. From the cleaning staff to the reception and everyone was just extremely nice and made us feel very welcome. The pool area was perfect for our 2 year old and also the kids club. Room was super spacious and we loved spending time at the balcony. They did a little birthday set up for our 2 year old who loved it so much - thank you! We will definitely be coming back in the future 🌴💖

The W Dubai is absolutely beautiful! We loved our stay and had the chance to dine in four of the restaurants - all incredible. More than anything the service was top! We loved the Wet Deck!

Loved staying here at the W. I’ve been to Dubai numerous of times and the W is now my go to hotel when I visit Dubai. Staff was friendly and very prompt.

We are very happy to have stayed in this hotel, the staff is truly professional and hospitable. and we congratulate him. The only problem with Dubai is that there is no metro transport, so every time we were forced to take a taxi to get from the hotel. but we still recommend this hotel, for its beauty and their hospitality

We would like to thank all the staff at the hotel for being so kind, helpful and attentive. The hotel smells amazing, very clean and tech savvy. Everything is literally at the touch of a button. We stayed in the spectacular room with the view of the pool and the Atlantis hotel in the distance. The room was a good size for two adults, the bed was so comfortable and the shower was probably one of the best I’ve experienced! All the staff provided exceptional service, especially Moses (door ambassador) he had great customer service and a friendly smiling face whenever he saw us! As the music can get quite loud from the pool/rooftop at certain times I am glad they have a quiet prayer room located on the ground floor. The pool is lovely and sun beds are comfortable, I understand it can get quite busy so there can be delays with free beds/loungers and beverages however I believe if the pool bar staff could be honest about waiting times that would appreciated. I was told my drink would be a few minutes but it was 20 minutes in 37 degrees heat so if I had known I would have gone to get some AC and returned. Also, if the used towels could be removed off the beds/loungers no longer in use more efficiently that would also help. As I said, I understand it does get busy. All pool staff/lifeguard were all lovely to speak to. Overall, my husband and I were very happy to stay here and would definitely return. Thank you W! X

Exceptional service! Beautiful property, excellent food and service was 5 Star! I want to recognize a few people who went ABOVE and beyond. Tripti from the front desk welcomed us and assisted throughout the stay. We ate exclusively at Liv daily and the ladies at the check in desk were ALL amazing. I believe I got all the names but if not please recognize them all: Roshanee, Sakshi, makhabat, Bharat. The FOOD was exceptional! Beautiful presentation, great taste and clean restaurant. And finally my favorite employee was in the Valet who assisted us many times… Frankline. He was so pleasant and always wanted to see how he could help - literally whenever/whenever, true to W Values! Thank you for a great time W Dubai - The Palm

Oh my we have enjoyed a fantastic 5 nights at W Dubai - The Palm. Really welcoming from the start. Food fantastic, DJ for the adult pool great. Plenty of beds to lounge. Also a wonderful group of family pools and the beach is a super view and area to watch the sun go down. We were part working, but our downtime was great fun. Lovely staff team throughout and plenty of taxis available to take you off to see the sights. No issues with traffic and we will definitely return soon. I forgot to mention that we had a lovely view day and night of the local area.

Hotel W is over-priced and over-rated. You would expect more from this hotel brand in Dubai. It fails to deliver on many levels. As frequent visitors to Dubai and having stopped at may luxury hotels. We were extremely disappointed and I would not recommend to travellers to go Hotel W Dubai, if you want to experience luxury, hospitality and incredible customer service use another hotel.

Excellent hotel, lobby staff needs improvement. Upper management are definitely better and when they intervene they do well but the receptionists needs improvement and need better attitude.

Superb hotel! Upper management are great but certain staff members could use better attitude towards residents and customers… However upper management stepped in and satisfied the needs, but certain staff members beneath them (lobby) need to be removed from hospitality completely or receive better training. Otherwise, great hotel, quiet and clean which was my main concern. Valet parking is fantastic. Dining options are great. Pool and beach staff are very good. All in all highly recommend it.

Customer service just made this hotel 10/10. All staff were incredibly accommodating which was a dream! The room was an excellent size and clean, decor abit strange but great hotel and the grounds were beautiful too, would visit again.

Great place to stay!

Stayed at the W palm during feb 2024 half term with 2 and 5 year olds, the staff were great with the children which made the holiday so much more enjoyable. Hotel is trendy, and busy at weekends (esp Friday but all of Dubai is as expats party in the hotels), but we just went out for the day. There are adult only areas, which is fine as still pool/beach/kids club/restaurants you can use. Dubai has so many choices when looking for a hotel, but I’d recommend the W for families.

Great hotel for adults, but two areas for improvement to be considered a family friendly hotel. 1) Loud music most nights making it difficult with young children; and 2) Food options for children weren't great as part of the half board package

Hotel was amazing, staff very helpful, room clean and spacious. Amenities in place, lovely rooftop bar and restaurant. Pool and private beach amazing and lots of activities to do for adults and children.

We stayed at the W hotel for 5 nights and the hotel in the weekend is a club rather than a 5* hotel. Music is blasting from different directions literally all day/night. The hotel beach and swimming pool areas were populated by huge number of external guests and that really spoiled the hotel environment and the service one would expect from a 5* hotel. If you want to stay in a hotel that feels like a club in Ibiza, then this is a perfect place for you. If you want a relaxing and a nice ambient hotel with good service, then go elsewhere. Note: it was better during the week days but unfortunately the weekend situation killed the hotel for us.

Never came back again.Ther day before we were to leave my wife had a bad case of food poising from one of the restaurants in the hotel. My wife was very sick, and I needed to call the doctor as she was very unwell (shacking, dehydrated, body aching then diarrhea and vomiting over 20 times with a temperature in excess of 38* to 39*). The doctor came and put her on IV drip (4 different drips), plus medication. To make it worse my wife was bed ridden, we were all stressed, and I advised the reception that night that we would need to hold the room. They said it’s fine (no one has booked the room to date) and available to finalise in the morning. To my dismay they then advised us we had to relocate to another smaller room the following day, whilst my wife was still in pain, lying in bed with still symptoms of diarrhea and vomiting. Whilst being sick my wife had to pack her bags with us and relocate to another floor which was way further from the lifts which aggravated my wife to walk further. I believe before you give this room away it should be fully sterilised by health requirements which shocked me that it was leased to another party in a couple hours, we vacate the room. We are very disappointed with the hotel and the way we have been treated, saying you probably got it from eating out of the hotel, but this was not the case as we didn’t leave the hotel for 2 days prior. My daughter then got an eye infection and temperature over 39*, doctor believes it was from the pool

We had an incredible experience during our stay in Dubai, and this hotel truly struck the perfect balance. If you're in search of a stylish and welcoming hotel with an exceptional staff, this is the place for you. While it's true that you can find more luxurious and extravagant hotels, this one provides outstanding value for the experience. The location is excellent, but it's important to note that the hotel is situated a bit away from downtown and major activities, requiring a short drive or taxi ride. Nevertheless, the warm welcome and excellent service we received made it entirely worthwhile. The breakfast was a highlight, so be sure not to miss that delightful part of your stay.

This hotel had a modern flair if that is what you want, but very beautiful! It was a 10/10. The hotel in and out were clean and well kept. The staff were friendly, helpful and inviting. Taxis and transport are always available and the staff always helped with obtaining. I know I will be back to Dubai and I will be back to this same hotel! Amazing!

I've stayed at W Hotels all over the world. This one is OK but a little tired. The staff is fantastic and the food is good, but the obscene prices on everything put a very sour taste in my mouth. A bottle of sunscreen was AED 240. Breakfast was AED 140. The restaurants are about double the price they feel they should be. They call you a guest but you feel like a victim because it's a resort where nothing else is close so you end up spending a lot of money there. I won't go back. They are taking advantage of their guests in my opinion.

Our experience at the W Palm was Amazing. The venue, the rooms, the amenities are top notch. Most impressively were the super friendly staff. Their attention to details, were on point. They surprised me the day of my birthday day by setting balloons and cake a chocolate and a nice note celebrating me. They exceeded my expectations. We will definitely consider staying at this hotel again in the future.

Beautiful hotel but not a great stay.

The W is aesthetically a stunning hotel. The staff are always hard working and extremely polite and friendly. Unfortunately we found overall it was a little flat with almost no atmosphere at all for such an amazing looking hotel. Unfortunately the beach was completely out of order for the duration of our stay which we were not advised in advance. Not exactly a beach holiday with heaving machinery and diggers driving up and down directly next to the pool. The works are meant to complete in 5 days so hopefully this won’t affect future travellers but definitely check ahead! For the price of the hotel maybe some cushions on the metal sun loungers by the pool could be added just for an extra bit of comfort.

Best Birthday trip!! This one for the books!!! A time was had! My group of friends can’t wait to return!

Very nice property be prepared to put down a extra deposit when you arrive, breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet are not included and stay around $120 a day for a 3 staff works very hard to provide excellent customer service would definitely book again

Favourite Resort!

Third time back here and it was for a short weekend this time around. Amazing luxury resort, good crowd and hospitality. Our go-to when we visit Dubai

Property was nice but out of the way from many amenities. Service wasn’t bad but need to work on delivering what they promise. Had a lot of trouble with transport from hotel to Dubai attractions. Need a better system and have more taxis on hand for guest especially because it’s a five star hotel. Very disappointed as it took time away from our busy schedule and we weren’t able to see all the attractions we where hoping to. Would like it if your customer relations team could reach out to me regarding the above comments.

Wry good hotel

Amazing resort. Beautiful, clean, Charmismatic and great restaurants.

Compared to what other hotels offer in Dubai, they can’t compete, beach views..But no beach access.. you will have to drive 30 min They will hold $600. Even if you payed total at booking and want get it back till 7-14 days!
