I liked the staff. They were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the food was not great. The pool was a little dirty and i saw a few roaches.

Like- beach and adjoining beaches Dislike- small room, many items not functioning (tv, a/c, front door sticks, shower design)

I did not enjoy my stay here at this resort. I was “invited” to a VIP breakfast during my stay so the staff could market their Viva Membership. The funniest thing was they did not want to discuss the issues we encountered such as, moldy air conditioning, which we identified as soon as we went in the room and were advised the smell would go away. It did not. There were no less than 4….more than 5 minute blackouts and the resort went black each time. My children were unable to swim in the sea due to riptides and the pool was used for activities that I felt were inappropriate for children. The buffet was not appetizing with hotdogs being offered as a healthy alternative??? Thank god there was soup. The staff was polite and courteous until they weren’t so all around bad trip. Won’t be returning. Oh and a suggestion please don’t compare yourselves to Lifestyles, you can’t compete and from what I see the facilities need a FULL overhaul. Doors have to be slammed closed, AC cannot be controlled and the hot water is scarce.

Safe and friendly place. My rating is based on location and staff - they go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and give you a good experience. I absolutely loved the staff, no exceptions.

This resort may be smaller but don't let that fool you. This resort is top notch. The staff are great, the food is excellent and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Guaranteed you won't be disappointed with your stay there.

It’s not bad but they need to make better with the cafeteria because it’s not close and when you come later food doesn’t look good,also all inclusive it’s not including all alcohol only one kind of rum and beer unless you are club member they treat you different .not coming back again

Very small resort, the rooms are old not like in the pictures of the website. my room had a leaking toilet, sink clogged told the cleaning lady said she was going to tell someone a joke THEY NEVER CAME, the AC didn’t work they have preference on there guest resort very boring I been to many resort and I can say this is the worst

BUT THE ROOM NEEDS MINOR MAINTENANCE LIKE SHOWER HOSE LEAKING, BATH SINK DRAIN NEEDED TO BE REMOVED TO DRAIN WATER, NO LOCK ON THE OUTSIDE SLIDING DOOR TO THE BALCONY AND THE WORSE IS THE PHONE DID NOT WORK I ASKED TO FIX IT AND IT DID NOT GET DONE WHEN I LEFT NO WAY TO CALL IF I HAD AN EMERGENCY.

Al igual que los restaurantes deben tener una mejor disponibilidad para reservar ya que de las tres opciones solo pudimos probar uno porque los otros no estaban disponible ya que no operaron durante nuestra estadía. Pero en general, excelente hotel para el precio y el entretenimiento 20/10.

I just didnt understand how the power went out so many times and they didnt have an inverter to kick in . Also, one of our rooms had a really bad leak in it and no warm water to shower.

Wifi was awful, lost power at least once a day and the food at the buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner was horrible. The room was nothing special. And they have stray cats all over the property. Will not return on my next visit to the domincan republic.

Hear me out. I am the pickiest of travelers, and we LIKED this place. I would attribute it to the atmosphere. This a fun and happy hotel. The rooms: We got a room on the third overlooking the ocean, and it was fantastic. That building has a small elevator which took us up to our room. The room had tall ceilings and stayed exceptionally cold. The king bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was huge. Give our rooms a high mark. The bar service was excellent. They moved the lines fast. Made great cappuccinos and good drinks. I don't do top shelf stuff. I am ok with mixed drinks and beer all day long, so it served our purposes. On Saturday, the entertainment was quite fun. The team did water aerobics, a foam pool party, and a fun Dominican Time theme show. The food is where I dip. The carte menu is meh. I wasn't feeling it. The fish dishes were small tiny cuisine. The dumplings were not rolled correctly. I did not try the italian food but I did go to the fish one. We ended raiding the buffet afterward. Overall, I would come back here again. Not a great luxury 5 star, but this place has a fun personality. Much more than the one in Playa Dorada, (Heaven).

The staff was amazing. From the front desk, to the animators, to cleaning staff, to the dive shack staff. Everyone was simply amazing. 10/10 would recommend and 10/10 will return. Thank you for the amazing experience

I travel often. By far the worst food I have had in a resort. My wife and I went out for lunch and dinner every night we were there. Please be aware if good food and drinks is important to you.

Honestly, I’m grateful to travel and rarely leave a review, but this place misses on so many levels. The food is bloody awful. I had a decent meal at the a la carte restaurant, but the buffet is just shockingly bad. A large portion of the staff seemed miserable and not very helpful at all, can’t say i necessarily blame them. The stench of the septic system wafts throughout the property and the amenities are below average. The gym was beat to hell and the air stunk of septic so bad my throat was almost raw after each workout. No coffee in the rooms, and they have no to go coffee in the resort at all. I had to wait 45min past check in to get my room, and I was denied a late checkout. I broke the monotony by booking a spa service, place was beat up, smelled bad and you could the people outside as well as staff on the phone. The property itself is beat up, broken stairs and light fixtures hanging off. The wifi was garbage, constantly cutting out and making you log in multiple times throughout the day. The only bright spot was the beach itself. That said, not more than 15min would go by without a merchant being pushy to sell goods. One even woke me up from a nap. Honestly, I will never return to this resort or any other Viva property.

THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE. this was one of the worst resorts i have been to. we wanted to leave early and get our money back for the days we weren’t going to stay but they said no. i will never be going to this resort again in my life.

The food was absolutely not acceptable, not for human consumption. Property needs TLC . The cleaning staff not properly equipped. Very noisy loud music makes impossible to relax .Music was played every night till very late hours . The Lobby area had no working air conditioning. The bathrooms in public area very dirty and building smells like mold .

I really can't say anything good about this place. From being up all night with the incredibly loud music until 3am, chasing down extra towels, cold hot tub, PERSISTENT VENDORS STALKING THE PROPERTY, food not kept at proper temperature causing sickness, waking up to a roach (not a beetle, a large roach) crawling in between my wife and I on the bed. Outside of the facility on the street is unsafe to walk. Staff members are pushy with extra services. This is not worth the price or the trip. I only had a good time because my wife and I haven't had a vacation in 5 years and we love eachother so much that we just laughed and loved. Please don't go here. Oh wait. There are cats on the property. This can be a plus or minus. For us, we loved the kittens and cats and happily fed them what was edible from our plates.

The property is overall nice. it’s just very dirty and the food isn’t that good. the staff is nice but not all of them.

Everything was nice, except the lack of parking, also there should be a valet parking available. We had to go far away in order to get a spot and come back to the hotel exhausted and very hot.

It’s a great resort. I love it. Everything was great except for parking they don’t have enough parking at the hotel. If you don’t get there early you probably have to park in another parking lot outside of the hotel which is part of the hotel but you have to walk in dark if is night time. Other than that was great.

Rooms had squashed bugs on the wall had multiple issues with the bathroom property charged me 4 extra guest that i did not have and refused to refund me

Everything was fine: restaurants, bars, food, cleanliness, and respectable personnel except for the condition of the rooms. The toilet in one room broke down, we moved to another, and there was a problem with water outflow in the shower.

honestly this place wasn’t as bad. Just the food does get tiring it’s the same every day. The snack bar is the same all day every day only thing eatable was the pizza and french fries, the hamburger and hotdogs looked raw. There’s times where it feels like there is almost nothing to do, such as games or to make everyone feel included. Wish they would put more water and sodas in the mini fridge all they put is 2 water bottles. the place is small with 1 bar it gets crowded. over all it’s not as bad, would i come back? no

Never again

When the food is better in the airline and even the kids reject the worst options (fries, pasta and pizza) it tells you a lot about the quality of the food. One would hope to find fresh fruits from the island but those were tasteless and the juices were made from concentrate. Would you like to have friends visit you for a couple hours, be ready to pay the price of a full night while getting yelled at by reception and security.

Nice resort, the food is terrible, very poor choice and night shows is a disaster. The singers stand there infront of you, and looking at the tv screen. No smiles, no dancing or talking. Most of the time you are looking their backs. Very poor show. Drinks are ok. Clean pool, I think they can do better but the administration is bad.

Food was not good and AC in room didn't work.

I had planned a four night stay at this property however I left after my first night's experience. Very disappointing experience! No wifi connectivity in my room. I was only able to access wifi upon entering the lobby. I had no hot water throughout my stay. Faucet was blocked. Had visits from crawling insects that found their way through the space at tge foot of the door. The buffet was a feast with huge and aggressive flies.

My stay was comfortable and enjoyed the night entertainment. The food was good most of the time. Overall, had a good time. The service was good and security service and very helpful.

Only the service of some employees was good. I do not recommend everything else. It is a bad hotel in every sense.

For the most part everything was good. It is a nice family place to go right on the beach. My problem was Check in. They asked what language i stated english, and an older lady who wasnt very friendly and rude said literally les than 10 words to me, i even tried to speak spanish and she wasnt helpful. I tried to ask questions and she would look at me and walk away.I didnt know what to do and she didnt explain anything to me. And yes she spoke Spanish and english as i heard her being very nice to the locals who were checking in after me.

The food was horrible, chicken not cooked properly. Pizza dough is too raw for the children, pasta always over cooked and most of the food is too salty. A simple cup of hot water is always dirty every day so i couldn't even have a cup of tea. Out of 7 nights i had 4 night with AC and the rest was hot and a few days of no hot water to take a shower. And whenever you call for some help, they would always reply that sending someone now but it never happens .

The Hotel need some upgrades but its a good hotel to stay.

Good access to pools and the beach. The beach is more for wind surfing and not casual swimming. Foods that required water in their preparation had an after taste of what I believed to be sanitized water. Hot water and water pressure was great. The curbless shower gets water everywhere. The staff was great no complaints there. The vendors on the beach are a bit pushy The coffee bar was amazing, cappuccinos were delicious. Very much a party atmosphere Recommend the catamaran snorkeling excursion.

El hotel tiene áreas buenas como áreas malas, las condiciones de las habitaciones están pésimas, llena de filtraciones, humedad, se ve que tienen años sin un arreglo real. La comida fue muy buena, el servicio de los empleados es EXCELENTE! La ubicación y el equipo de entretenimiento también son excelentes, solo la daña la infraestructura, es un hotel que necesita muchos arreglos e inversión.

Overall the hotel is very nice. But the drinks are all watered down and the bar staff has no customer service etiquette.

-The entertainment was loud - Our room didn’t have bath towels and it took about an hour and a half to get them -The rooms were smaller than we anticipated -A few people in our group had stomach issues from the food. -The beachfront and pool were nice -Things were close together Overall, I was a little disappointed based on reviews I had read before coming. The resort is nice and maybe the a la carte restaurants are a good option (no reservations available for us), but I would probably try another resort before coming here again.

Nice location, things to do, activities, limited on drinks, big line to get drinks on only bar , cheap food mangu potato same stew meet chicken park and rare beef, not to many fruits and desserts 3 restaurants( only 3 stars) Other than that safe place with security everywhere. I will say 3 star's place after all

It was ok. Food is good but not variety. My biggest complaint is that there is only one bar and the line is too long because everyone goes to that bar for the drink.

Low class hotel, variety in everything limited but for a 3.5 stars hotel is good. If you don't want to spend a lot of money, this is good.

Its very hot at the restaurant no fan . Barely light to see the menu, only 1 restaurant available , because u have to reserve to go to the others but thay are all full. Plus we had to wait an hour, cause thay gave us the wrong time.food wasnt good at all.👎

The animations team is amazing, they became amazing friends during our stay and we was sad to leave. They knew us by name and we had a blast with them. Some other staff members was not as friendly but they made up for it. Our rooms was clean, but their was some worn out things that could do with replacing or major repairs. Make sure you pull your door shut so it locks. Our first night we lost power multiple times, causing the water (via toilet and sink) to not work. Internet was iffy. And we never got new water bottles. But we will be back

I had a lovely stay at this resort. It's small compared to some other AICs I've stayed at but it met my needs. The facility is clean and groomed well. Staff are friendly and engaging. They go out of the way to make u feel comfortable. After a few days, almost felt like family. Though I didn't get in the pool, it was clean as and the pool area had many lounge chairs that were accessible and available. The beach was amazing. Great views, clean and not crowded so that you could enjoy in your own space. Security on the beach were also friendly and went out of their way to make me feel safe. I thought the food was good. The buffet offered many options and even if I didn't want some items, there was a good variety for me to be satisfied. I only wish I could have tried to eat at the Italian specialty restaurant but it was either full or I believe one day, they weren't taking reservations. But the Mexican and Fusion restaurants were good. Entertainment was good. They had something going on all day: Yoga by the beach, Bingo, Dancing, night shows, etc. Always something to do. I had a tennis lesson with "Snoop" who was very thorough and patient. It was great. The not so great things were really not all that bad but mentioning nontheless: the room keys for some reason kept losing their access for my room. I had to go to the front desk 3xs to get them reset. Just inconvenient, especially when your room is on the 3rd floor and you have to go to the bathroom.
