The wooden floor in our villa is old , it s uneven !!!

I love the view of the resort. You can take buggy to habour for other food options.

Vacation

Was just a place to stay when we went to park

Staff could improve their English. Twice i asked for salt and got sauce. Also, villas should have kitchenware and a microwave.

Excellent staff personnel, god service.

Buggies are infrequent and can sometimes take up to an hour from your villa to the mainland. The buffet restaurant was overcrowded and tables are often left uncleaned for extended periods of times.

The mini fridge did not work, the bed sheet has hole in it. The only good thing was service is above average.

Breakfast was great but lunch and dinner costs were too expensive for Vietnam

Room wasn't the same as in the picture. We booked a room with a rug, the room we got was just hardwood floor. Everything was ok, won't stay here again.

Fantastic resort. Definitely will be back. We only had 2 nights there and it didn’t feel like enough. The only downside is small selection of food options outside of breakfast buffet, which is fantastic.

Awful experience

Beds are too small. I got additional charged for my 4 years old when they clearly states children under 4 are free. But when i asked they said because my child is 4 years and 3 months old like what??? This place is too crowded. The foods and drinks are outrageous expensive.

Housekeeping does not make a throughly clean room. Does not change bed sheet for the 3 nights we stay. Bath towels were not change.

Excellent hotel with perfect amenities!!

Too busy for us, never again.

It was a very busy crowded place. We were allocated the most isolated villa on the hilltop, had to call for a shuttle bus each time. The 2 buffet at the main hotel was pretty poor quality and extremely busy. When we complained about the buffet restaurants we were directed to try Oceana. It was surprisingly exceptional Italian food, I usually never order western food in Asia as it always dissapoint, however it tasted authentic. When the chef came out from the kitchen, I realised it was an Italian chef running the restaurant. The VinWonders waterpark was ok, no big queues. However would be better if there were staff manning the beach, we witnessed some very unhygienic behaviours at the waterpark, like spitting and vomiting on the beach, covered up with sand by guest rather than cleaning it up. Complained to managerial staff, about unhygienic behaviours and barging into queues at buffet or shuttle bus, was simply told they cannot control the behaviour of guests.

It’s a fantastic place for family with kids in terms of water park, roller coasters, the zoo, botanical and Japanese gardens, aquarium and closed beach with more activities and pools….Best of all is the foods are awesome Delish…All in one place! We will definitely going back next summer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Excellent for families with the options of 3 amazing pools and beautiful beach. The property is safe not a lot to do on the island itself apart from vinwonders and going to the harbour area. Most shops are vacant though I understand this is because it’s a relatively new harbour precinct. Cable car and speeedboat access was fantastic. Italian restaurant on the property was wonderful exceptional pizza and pasta. Other restaurant disappointing. Buffet breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed cocktails by the pool. Overall a great holiday - much better value than Fiji or Hawaii!

The hotel is very beautiful with private beach and has different water sports such as parasailing, jet ski, kite surfing etc. the breakfast buffets are amazing, lots of good options. The food is so great and the transportation from and to the hotel are easy and convenient. The harbour which has various restaurants, stores, shopping mall and the price are reasonable.

As per advertising on Expedia, that this booking included 4 days amusement park, but the booking is completed there was no 4 days amusement park included, i have to pay extra for the amusements park at 3pm to play to 5:30pm in the water park and watch fhe night show since i am staying one night and flying off the next day henxe unable to book the amusement park for the next days. There is no understand for guest that stay there and the advertising is misleading.

The breakfast buffet doesn't have many selections. Very much the same for every morning. Beside the breakfast buffet, the restaurant food is very pricey, too expensive. The hotel is very pretty, super clean, the beached has crystal clear water, sand beach. It is fun to swim and do some sport activities on the beach. Safeguard is always on duty. It is safe to swim. Staff are nice, polite and provide excellent service.

Service was horrible. We waited with 2 kids more than 20min before anyone came to see us. We are gold members and they refused to upgrade our room when all rooms were available. They asked us to pay to upgrade. We don't recommend this hotel at all. Luxury Vinpearl is a wayyyyy better choice for all aspects!

My family and I would love to return and we would definitely recommend this resort to family and friends.

We had a great family vacation here. We stayed in a 3 bedrooms villa. The staffs were attentive and on time when we needed a lift. Variety of dining options. Would recommend to friends and family. We would come back for a longer stay in the future.

Overall a good stay. We were impressed with their service. We booked a room with a child. They have prepared a separate bed without us requesting upon check in. If you are planning to visit Vinpearl wonderland, will recommend to stay here to save time travelling. Breakfast spread was good. Hotel is clean.

Amazing property.

Proper 5 star resort experience. The staff are super helpful and friendly. We left our passport in the safe and almost missed our flight but the staff did their very best to get it to us before takeoff. Highly recommend

Extra fees

The property is nice and well maintained. The staffs are friendly and helpful. My family and I stayed in a 2-bedroom villa which has a private pool. The villa is big and beautiful. The view from the villa is incredibly nice. We definitely will come back.

Value was exceptional. World class entertainment and amenities at a bargain. With new attractions to come, if Vinpearl keeps it up, this destination will continue to outshine other offerings in this area, great job!

Nice resort in Nha Trang. Staff are very friendly and professional. The only bad thing is you are not allow to bring food and beverage to the island, so the water and soft drink are quite expensive compared to other places

The rooms, beach and amenities are 5 star beyond but be very aware that you are isolated on an island. Let’s say you catch the speedboat to Nha Trang City you cannot bring ANY food or drink back without a $50 USD fine. I was pretty fed up that I discarded my solo pot noodle!! It’s rather like Disney with their food and beverage charges enforced throughout. The beach is better than the photos as are the rooms. A big plastic problem on the beach. I swam twice and both times got entangled in carrier bags. They have a man picking up waste but they need more manpower. A sad reality I guess in our oceans at present.

Travelled with kids and we stayed 3days/2nights. My kids love this place & wants to stay longer. There is so many things to do and see specially the VinWonders you will need at least 2days to check out all the theme park areas.

After I checked in, I found broken glasses in the fridge and the room was so dirty. I contacted the front and had to change the room. The new room also had a problem that the balcony overflowed with water that also came into the room. I had to contact the front again at the middle of night. The water is not working on the second floor in the morning. It was one of my worst experiences

It was very good. The room was excellent and very clean. The food was amazing. We had a great view of the beach. The hotel had 3 pools and a very clean beach. The service was excellent and they always wanted to help out on anything you needed. This hotel is amazing.

All good but has to improve the hardware

It took nearly 45 mins when I check-in. The staff are friendly made me feel welcomed. However the water supplies was broken one evening while I was taking the shower and one evening the water was with slightly yellow colour and rusty smell

We were a little disturb coz the villa that I booked was not ready until the next day. In fairness, they called and informed me that we will be billeted in Vinpearl Resort, another property within the island. It was the hassle of packing and unpacking as we moved from one resort to another that also took out some of our precious time. Both places were very good though. Note that this stay was when Vietnam is not yet open to tourist due to Covid. Not much people, not busy which made the place relaxing and clean.

Reception took over an hour long to check in! Front desk staff were NOT accommodating and had no sense of urgency. I was traveling with 12 adults, I had booked a 4 bedroom villa that slept 12 people. At the front desk I was informed that the villa has a maximum capacity of 8 adults and 4 children. No big deal right? Just charge me for the additional adults..no! They wanted me to book another three bedroom villa at a ridiculously inflated rate per night. I ended up having to book two other smaller rooms on the resort property in order to account for everyone in my party. When they gave me the price, it was much higher than the price that was available on Expedia. I asked them to minimally match the price on Expedia and they said no! Also, if I choose to book the rooms (at a lower price) on Expedia that I was have to wait another 2 hours in the lobby! So I bit the bullet and just paid so I could finally get into my villa. After arriving in my villa, it was very spacious and easily slept 12 adults comfortably. The property was clean and property staff were very kind and helpful. The room service food was awful! The inclusive morning buffet was good. Though the service was good at Ocean Hill seafood restaurant, the lobster costs more than in the states and the food was just ok. Vinpearl land was ok. The zip line is only by raffle, skyline luge had a ridiculous line- HOURS! But at least we were able to buy a fast pass. Overall I would NOT recommend this place.

Beautiful resort, the grounds and rooms are very nice. Service is good. Just a few things we wished we knew about ahead of time. This resort is helpful as long as you stay on the island. If you ask concierge for help off the island they will not give you any info. Also there is not an ATM on the resort. We later found one in Vinpearl Land but weren't told there was one there. You have to go off the island to find one. You can't bring outside food into the island. My son and family stayed in the Villas which the picture shows a kitchen with stove and fridge. So we assumed we could do some simple things in the villa...the room didn't have any dishes or cooking utensils. The food for breakfast buffet and restaurants was okay but after a couple of days all the food seemed the same. Also do not do any of the special events in the convention center. We paid 100$ US for a Christmas Eve Gala and it was terrible. The entertainment was awful and the sound system too loud. The buffet was a free for all and by the time we could get near it there weren't any plates left and over 1/2 of the serving stations were out of food.

Good resort

Our trip consisted of 3 nights at Vinpearl Island and 2 nights at mainland. The Resort was good, not a typical 5 star hotel considering cleanliness, quality of food, and programs at hotel. However, once I moved to mainland, I can understand why Vinpearl resort is 5 starred. I paied extra for ocean view, which I don't regret single cent. You must get the ocean view. Daily cleaning service is not very fast. Food is a bit different everyday, which was ok. The programs they say they do didn't really happen, which is why I didn't give an “excellent” face.

Cozy, Comfort and Peaceful Place in the island

Really conveinent for staying with activities in the island. But some services are expensive a lot as compare to the quality of its service. Anyway, If you want to spend your vacation without moving busily around the city, it would be the best choice. The swimming pool and 3 meals are quiet good.

All things satisfied except crowded buffets

Clean and calm environment. Nice staff and service. But there aren t specific buffets for village customets, so they should have meal with all hotel customer at the central building. It was crowded and a little far to move from the village. And when I carried a bowl of hot rice noodle, one woman hit my arm and hot soup was spoiled on my hand then I got burned a little. This show that a specific buffet is needed for village customers to have a meal more calm and peaceful. All service was good and they managed all task fast and immediately.

Overall nice hotel, a good 4 star rather than a 5 though. Of the positives - nice private beach, large swimming pool and the hotel was well kept. Sadly for me the negatives outweighed the positives, namely the fact that it faces a mock Disney theme park, travel to and from the island is time consuming, the sea seemed to be a magnet for plastic pollution and worst of all the sheer price of food and drinks on the resort. The buffet dinner was extortionate for Vietnam prices, but having to pay 100k VND (USD 4.30) as your only option for a 1.5L bottle of water in a beach resort where you can't drink the tap water is bordering on criminal. For that I couldn't recommend staying there.

Room is generally good, except the drawers are a bit dusty. The dining options are limited, as there is only one buffet and alacart option. The location is at island, so riding speedboat, play at the amusement park is fun.

The property accessable by ferry only great service. The pool area was not waiter attended and needed to go to bar for food/drinks. Pool area not cleared of used glasses each day. Pool was unable to be used one day it was green and taped off to guests. Breakfast good and many options. Unable to take any food or drinks into the resort. Vending machines witb snacks/drinks would have been great. Staff need to have basic english skills very difficult to communicate.

Well below 5 star standard

Overpriced and well below 5 star standard, room fixtures were falling apart. You are forced to pay a premium price for every item on the island once you get there and they could not accept an Amex credit card, meaning i had to pay cash for EVERYTHING and it was extremely annoying being around a resort with your wallet counting cash. The room service was also very delayed. Only good aspect was the beach, but other than that I would not recommend staying there. My wife and I wasted 3 precious days in Vietnam by staying at the Vinpearl Hotel.

I must say that i was extremely pleased! The property and the staff was AMAZING.. I'm a typical American, with typical American high standards, so high praise is not given lightly... When i say this place is well deserving of its 5 star rating.. It truely is!! I'll be back, and i will be recommending to family and friends.. Thanks Vinpearl Group!!

There’s need to be more staff with knowledge about restaurant hours and English speak staff.

The pool was amazing, albeit a little too warm for us. It was the temperature of bathwater, and on a 43 degree day, all you want is to cool down, not have a bath! The hotel is in dire need of renovation. Carpets are dirty, walls and ceiling need a repaint. But the most disappointing part was their staff attitude and lack of English skills. This hotel definitely caters to the Chinese and Russian travelers, not English. Attitudes are very poor. Service was very poor.

Not a 5* as per rating

that was our last stop during 2 week trip in Vietnam with my husband and my son. I wished I have stayed somewhere else! this has really spoiled the last few days of the holiday. Overpriced, with staff nowhere near the 5* service, full of rude guests. Restaurant is overcrowded during breakfast, there is loads of food, but just very overall quality. Loads of people, pushing their way through. Same when getting on the shuttle bus or the boat. Women with suitcases pushing kids, as they need to be first. Staff hardly acknowledges your present at the reception desk, hardly speak English and not friendly or helpful at all. and they want to charge you penalty if you hang your wet swimming gear on t he balcony - it doesn't dry it the bathroom! Stay away, plenty of nicer places on main land. I would hardly give it 3*

Everything was good except the the hair dryer was broke...

I have never stayed in a resort like this before. Room was fantastic we stayed in a two bedroom beachfront villa which was amazing and worth it. We only stayed two nights which was long enough for us because we didn't really do anything. However, food options really lacking as they say you cant bring in your own food or they will charge you, but there is nowhere to buy snacky things like nuts, chips, etc so you are stuck for options. We never ventured to the mainland of Nha Trang.

Such a relaxing and unique location. Food at the hotel leaves a lot to be desired, but plenty of great options in Nha Trang city.

Great Family Vacation Spot

Vinpearl Resort and Spa Nha Trang Bay was a great spot to stay and enjoy Vinpearl Island. The amusement park was not included in our stay, but was money well spent regardless and the hotel set up the visit with ease. The staff were very friendly and the buffet was excellent, although the restaurant area was very noisy due to some other patrons being pushy and loud, so we preferred to sit outside whenever possible. The pools and beaches were in excellent condition and well maintained. Overall a very enjoyable family vacation.

Good Service, Great Environment

I spent there for my 29th Wedding Anniversary. They decorated the room with romantic "towel swans & flowers". They also provided a cake with anniversary greeting and a greetng card. The environment is great. The swimming pool is especially large. Since there are an Amusement Park and a Water Park (separate fee from hotel stay), a minimum 2-night stay is recommended. The only thing to be corrected is that it took relatively lengthy check-in time at pier.

Check in was terrible. During my check in I had used my American name. However, my passport had my Vietnamese name. I understood that the hotel management wanted further proof for the confirmation on the booking of my rooms. They told me to open the confirmation email. As I was told, I opened and found the confirmation email. I was asked to email the confirmation to them to which I did. While waiting for over half an hour I was told the confirmation email was not enough. I was asked to call Expedia to change my American name to my Vietnamese name just for more proof, to which I did. However at the end of all the hassle, I was asked to sign some paperwork for the check in, to which the paperwork had my American name on it! Apparently they seem to have no problems dealing with the name after all the hassle they hazed my family and I with. Not to mention during this one hour check in period my son was very tired and fell asleep on the couch for a couple of minutes that they kindly escorted us to, a staff member approached his way waking him up because it’s agaisnt ‘company policy’ to rest on the couch. The hotel is like a trap. Service is very poor, and staff is very unfriendly. The hotel charges you for everything. Giving an example if you have a visitor they will charge you or the visitor $850,000VND/person. We heard a lot of great things about Vinpearl. However we realized it’s a mistake to booked this hotel. Beside the view, Vinpearl have nothing to offer.

Very good hotel. Have access to the beach, pool is big and good. Facilities are amazing. Only thing is that they should incorporate to the hotel accommodation the amusement park ticket. Food choices and affordability is better in the amusement park.. Food bought outside the island is not allowed to the hotel (including snacks and local delicacies intended to be brought home). I was told if caught you'll be fine $50

Very nice resort!, huge swimming pool! Nice food (full board is worth and cheaper that on site), shuttle to and from vinpearland and any other place in the island! We really enjoyed, ocean view room is amazing!

Beautiful resort and we were treated like VIPs every mealtime. We had the full board option and it was great value for money. Food could be warmer in the restaurant. I have noticed that this was the case in all the hotels so maybe that’s normal in Vietnam. There are a lot of Russian guests who I did feel the majority were quite rude to the staff and other guests. Apart from this we had a wonderful stay 😊

Fantastic resort

Amazing hotel / resort by the beach with friendly staff. Something for everyone from golf to theme parks or just relaxing by one of the many swimming pools or on the beach. We will def. be going back!

Great place to stay with kids ... plenty of activities, beachfront with lifeguards and massive pools.

We chose not to go with the “all inclusive” which proved to put a dampener on our experience. We chose not to because of past experiences with haudes of humans all eating 3 meals a day from buffets all at the same time...you get the idea but because we chose not to join the masses we weren’t ‘allowed’ to charge to the room-any cocktail, any in room meal had to be paid on the spot with cash. Nothing worse than having your hand in your pocket all the time and only ATM on island is in Theme Park. There is no atmosphere in the complex, we presume 90% joined “all inclusive” so around 6-7pm there was no one around the pool and after a day with the kids at the theme park and screaming for a cocktail we felt alone and well...bored. We are definitely not the stereotypical Aussie tourist family but this just didn’t suit Aussie families. It’s tailored toward others and we totally understand why.

Great hotel, clean beach, friendly staffs

Overall, it was a great stay in Nha Trang. The only issue I had was booking 2 rooms in my name and I had to call Expedia to switch one of the room in my husband / sister name due to id card cannot be issued for the same person. This I thought was ridiculous. I couldn’t understand why they couldn’t handle it at the hotel’s check-in desk. My husband was frustrated at some point and wanted to cancel our reservations...Anyway, after all that initial unpleasant experience, everything else was good. They include taking the speedboat to the island, got our room keys, swimming in the warm ocean water, nice pool, dinner, hot breakfast buffet and checked out. My family enjoyed the resort.

good for relaxing vacation

- great for if you want a resort vacation - not for partying - limited to few restaurants unless you pay or have package to go into the amusement park for food - expect hotel prices for food and drinks - great service - as in one phone call for anything - however room cleaning service was horrible and only refilled some but not all things, eg. shampoo - the stairs railing came loose and was very dangerous

Paradise on earth Hotel

We booked the suite ocean view Room , amazing views of ocean pool and the amusement park right in front of us. Beds were comfy and clean , service is a little slow and also most of the staff can’t speak English , In genera they are not really friendly people. They don’t say hello they don’t smile at you and don’t even say your welcome Resort 5/5 people 2:5

Paradise in Vietnam

We stayed two nights in VinPearl at a Beach Front Villa; we absolutely loved the amenities, the private pool, obviously very accessible to the soft sand beach and warm waters. You could easily spend your lazy days lounging the resort or choose to play in VinPearl Land. Also the variety of food was well prepared and delicious. We look forward to visiting again.

Good but not so good

Accommodation was A+ how ever had a bad experience at vinpearl land,we queued in a line waiting to go on a ride for 4hrs then was told the ride was closed There for we had wasted our day and made a big complaint and got our money back.

Twin beds x 2 for 4 people not suitable

When making booking for 2 Adults and 2 Children and it states 2 x twin beds you think that you are going to get 2 x double beds, which would accommodate for 2 Adults 2 Children as OK comfort. However what you actually get is 2 x single beds and a roll out bed which made the stay in the room uncomfortable. If I had of known that this is what I was going to get in the room I would have changed my booking.

Amazing resort - really nice 4 bed pool Villa, most of the staff very friendly - Food was just about acceptable - We were breakfast only, so lunch and dinner we felt options were restricted and at the Hotel prices for 'in room' dining and in hotel restaurant, I'm afraid it was really poor, one would expect better. Unfortunately we didn't get good weather but it was rainy season the Vin Pearl facilities, the Golf course and kids theme park all receive glowing appraisal. The kids were upset with the Zoo , like all Zoo's the animals look undernourished and unhappy.

Warning !

My husband and I stayed there one night ( we always do when we have chance to visit Nhatrang) . Everything was so nice , I loved it so much until I found out a few bloods stains on the foam , which was covered by a white bed sheet before checking out. I told the receptionist and provided the pictures to them ( luckily I did, or they wouldn't believe me) . I was told the general manager was off that day, so I was about emailing those pictures to customer service to complain , soon after that a lady ( I believe she is a front end manager or supervisor) cam talk to me , she apologized told me to email those pictures to her, so I did. Since that day, I have never heard or gotten any email from them. I'm so disappointed about the way they handled and solved the problem. Probably I won't come back . To the people who are going to stay there , please check your foam sheets and bed sheets before laying down. Thank you for reading !

Very professional staff, especially Ms. Tram

We enjoyed our stay at the resort- good food, clean room and facility, and very friendly staff. Each and every staff that we interacted was very courteous, friendly, and helpful. Ms. Tram at the Hotel Concierge was very professional and extremly amicable. For instance, our flight was prior to lunch, so the hotel staff kindly offered us a lunch-to-go and complimentary juicies. Their great service is greatly appreciated and above all other hotels I have stayed in that region.

Great facilities with Vinpearl Land close by.

Great resort! Lots of Chinese tourists with only a handful of Aussies. Most of staff understand very little English. Only downside to our trip was that cable car ride to the island and entry to Vinpearl Land were not included when we expected them to be. Expedia needs to make this clear! Also you can only have 1x rollaway bed in Deluxe Rooms. Expedia allowed us to booked this type of room for 2 adults & 2 children under 11 years. We then had to fight exceedingly hard to get 2 rollaway beds for our 10 & 8 year olds.

Just like a Pearl...perfect!

This was a real 5 stars experience!!!!! The comfortable villa with the private pool, the beautiful surroundings and views, the exceptional service from the happy staff and the warm weather were all perfect during our stay. You still have the option to visit the restaurants and shops in the center of Nha Trang by speedboat 24/7 (free of charge) and then pay for a TAXI just over $6 AUD. Vinpearl Land is also a nice theme park with a variety of rides for kids and adults - the average price per person is around $40 AUD.

Almost ticked all the box's

We joined some friends and family from Australia and had a fabulous five days. The kids enjoyed the Fun park and the grown ups enjoyed the private pools and spa's something for everyone. This facility is set up for family package tours, which is the best deal, so if you are happy with lots of excited kid's running around and value conscious tourists this is the place for you. To provide fast service for on the go family's all meals are buffet style, breakfast has a choice of Western and Asian food and is a good start to the day. If you pay the 700,000 vd each for the Dinner buffet you will be disappointed if you are visiting Vietnam for there world class sea food and unique dishes you will have to go to the Mainland where it is readily available and better value.

Despite a little confusion with our booking which was easily sorted....we then enjoyed a very relaxing week in the sun.
