Very convenient location for Marine Park activities and beach. Only a 5 minute walk.

The bungalows were very comfortable and clean. The pool and grounds were clean and well maintained. We would stay here again

Full disclosure - I did not see the notice to contact the property prior to arrival. That may have alleviated a couple of issues. When we arrived, the person working reception did not speak English so we had a problem communicating. She got us to our room, which was extremely hot due to no air conditioning running. Also, the type of property is conducive to heat. We turned on the A/C only to experience the one in the living room going out. We were only here for one night so we lived with the A/C unit in the bedroom. One of the bathroom shower heads leaked excessively so we could only use one shower. The location of this property is ideal and the size could accommodate two couples or a family. There was a pool right outside our door but we didn't have time to take advantage of it.

Very helpful staff

There are only 4 houses so it gives a lot of privacy. The houses are well maintained and fully equipped so far the best place we’ve ever had in any of our vacations. It was a little noisy in the area on Saturday because of the restaurants and live music but it stopped around 9pm, which was a pleasant surprise. We were very satisfied with the place.

Great Location. Great for kids. No bar, no food service. There are many places to get supplies nearby. You do not need a car if you stay here.

Terrible. The hotel lost our reservation and there was no one on site that could help. The lady in the front desk tried to call the manager to no avail. I would not recommend this hotel.

Beautiful national park. Not much to do at night but very relaxing. It is a true cabin with basic commodities. A bit overpriced as it is an older place Very friendly staff though. We tried to make the most of the tiny pool.

Great for economical families.

This would be great for families. No frills, but the AC worked well. It was great to have a full kitchen. Service was just delightful and very helpful. A good mid-priced option. Not a lot of restaurant options in the immediate area. No good place for breakfast.

The pictures don't do justice on this place. Wonderful, clean, bungalows and a fantastic pool with a slide in a manifico community. Highly recommend

Very comfortable. The only place we stayed in Costa Rica with a swimming pool and TV. The staff was very helpful although most of them spoke Spanish only. Seems to be a favorite for Costa Rican families - a perfect fit. Extremely convenient to the National Park and restaurants. Great air conditioning and a nice kitchen.

LOVED THIS!!!!!!

Our bungalow was awesome. Would have loved to stay for a week. Kitchen was fully equipped I would recommend going to grocery store before you arrive with provisions. Also pool is sweet... slide for kids. Only complaint is that we got there late and didn’t have enough time there

Clean room it has a fenced and gated parking area. The checkin had limited hours.

A piece of paradise

We had an excellent 5 night stay at Bungalows Bellena. A beautiful cabin and spectacular grounds. Service was top quality from the staff. The location was just a few minutes from the Whales Tail National Park . Restaurants and tour companies were just a mere 2 minute walk. We are extremely pleased withe whole experience in Uvita.

You arrived in paradise & are close to everything!

-The staff is so kind, friendly, hospitable, and will do anything to make your stay enjoyable. -The grounds are immaculately manicured and the tropical plants are gorgeous. -The pool, slide and built in bar stools make hanging out in the pool so much fun. -The location is PERFECT for any visit to Uvita, Dominical, and the Osa area...beach is down the road (whale watching!!!, etc...), Osa canopy tour (best zip lining adventure we ever experienced just minutes away, INCREDIBLE restaurants all over Uvita - the food in this area tastes as good as any 5 star restaurant but not near the price, waterfall down the road, amazing bars and restaurants nestled within a mountain with SPECTACULAR views, the list goes on and on...7 days is not nearly enough to enjoy this area. -The room (bungalows) are so comfortable. AC in every room, fully stocked kitchen although not needed since you can walk 100 to 200 meters to multiple restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner. These are EXTREMELY well designed and crafted log cabins. The woodwork is really impressive and I really admired the craftsmanship. Maid service every other day and the cleanliness is excellent. In summary, you can't go wrong here. We vacation often...about 15 cruises, Europe, Caribbean, live in Orlando so many top notch hotel visits, lived in NY, NY, so we are seasoned travelers and this place is just out and out AMAZING. Between the location and the Bungalow itself, as close to perfection as you can get!!! 5 stars!!!

Great location tarnished by ongoing construction

Loud construction work on the bungalow next to ours for two days of our three day stay. Drilling, metal grinding, hammering, etc. Oven door in our kitchen was broken, so we couldn't use that either. Asked for a different bungalow but didn't get one. Pool was semi-clean. Hotel.com customer service was also unwilling to help. Will use a different platform for the next booking.

Les bungalows sont très bien placés , presque à l’entrée du parc Marino Ballena. Des restaurants tout près , des supérettes pour faire vos courses. Une très jolie piscine pour vous détendre. Les bungalows très bien équipés , personnel très accueillant.
