Beautiful room with a balcony that overlooked the sea...need I say more?

The Ville Triana is located on the seawalk and has a lovely pool, but once past the exterior the hotel needs some serious care and attention. The shower was so small I could not wash my feet. This was a major distraction. The hair dryer overheated immediately and is clearly a fire hazard; the lighting was very poor; overall the room felt shabby. It was nice to have accessible coffee at all times. The staff was excellent. They gave us very good advice for restaurants nearby and in the Old Town. None of the aforementioned problems were the fault of the staff. The Villa Triana is not walkable to the Old Town. They did not claim to be so this comment is for information only (if it is not obvious from the map).

Very nice place to stay with very nice staff. Air conditioning worked amazingly.

We booked "sea view room" and had no sea view from the room, but only a partial sea view from the balcony which was on the side of the room. Not only we got the sea view, but got stuck with an 'attick style bathroom' where we needed to twist our necks to use the mirror and even more the hairdrier. Towels seemed clean but had rust stains. Hot water enough only for a short shower. Employees though willing to help, but sadly lacking real solutions. Nice seafront location, but we regret not switching to other accomodation. Smell of cigarettes in the ground floor did not help the negative experience. Place with potential but with bad price to quality ratio for now.

Lovely stay at this wonderful location! Very friendly and helpful staff and a great laid back vibe! Easy access by regular and cheap bus or walking to Zadar.

Fantastic location by the sea!

Really brilliant location by the sea front! Beautifully set up so you can enjoy the pool in the lovely garden or step out onto the promenade and bath in the clear waters of the sea!

The property has awesome views. The staff is welcoming and friendly (Loretta was very pleasant, helping and professional). That’s for the good part. The property has a meeting room, fully stacked, and there are no coffee makers in the rooms. But the coffee machine in the advertised “meeting room” was broken and was never fixed throughout our stay. The unfriendly lady owner even removed the electric kettle, siting safety reasons(???).The meeting room got simply locked the day after our arrival and was never accessible. The rooms are well decorated, but the showers are claustrophobic, and the hot water runs out in the middle of showering. Our friends had intermittent hot water in their shower (it would go from weak pressure to a drip). When the owner was notified of the problem, she simply shrugged it off by saying that everyone had the same issue. Stay away from this expensive property and unfriendly owner!

Staff are lovely and the villa is gorgeous. Free parking is 2 minutes walk. Highly recommend.

The place itself is ok but the service is terrible. I received an email after booking to ask what time I will arrive. I responded 11:30/12 and heard nothing so assumed it was ok to arrive at that time. When I arrived there was nobody in sight. I tried calling and ringing multiple doorbells/bell but nobody was there. It waited for TWO hours and it was only because I got in touch with hotels.com who managed to get in touch with somebody that I wasn’t there longer. Also on my departure I needed a cab to the bus station at 5:45am. I enquired about this in the day and was told to ask the person on desk later. I arrived back at 9pm and yet again, nobody to be seen, no cab cards on the table. This meant I had to navigate a list of Croatian cab companies (all in Croatian language) myself. I realise they are a small accommodation but I found the customer care quite awful to be honest and would only recommend staying here if you’ve got extreme patience

This property has exceptional service, I had a 14 hour drive from Poland to the hotel; the staff was in continuous communication with me to ensure I would get my room since I arrive at the destination really late. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for great costumer service in the area.

Wonderful location-right on the sea! Perfect place to watch the sunset. Rooms have everything you need. Breakfast is a great option if you don’t want to venture out. The pool area is fantastic.

We had the room at a discount so we were very pleased with the value for money. Extremely helpful staff (but aren’t all Croatians the same?) Fabulous sea view. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. Very convenient for bus ride into Zadar.

Absolutely amazing!!

This was the most amazing hotel we stayed in during our time in Croatia. The room was spectacular, the balcony lovely and the swimming pool a treat! The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful, and breakfast was huge enough we skipped lunch! I can't recommend this place highly enough. It's right on the sea, and just a quick Uber or can ride into the insanely busy downtown area. If you're in Zadar, and want some glorious rest and relaxation, stay here!

Nice hotel with pool on the sea

The hotel backyard was beautiful with a lovely pool and loungers, steps away from a promenade and the sea where you can swim. Bedroom had a lovely, spacious terrace. Easy bus route into town. Only complaint is a very low angled ceiling in bathroom made it quite difficult to stand upright over the sink.

They were so helpful for us! They did everything and went way out of their way to help us get our very early bus rides! Right on the beach very beautiful property. The staff is just awesome!

Front desk people were quite friendly. Breakfast was just enough but welldone .Location of hotel was far off from the city centre.

Romantic and lovely

Great little comfortable hotel. It does not cater to a large number of guests which is perfect for relaxing and the need for quiet. The sea view was awesome to wake up to every morning. There is not a sand beach area, but it is comfortable enough for a lounge chair and bring water socks to go out into the water as the shore line is very rocky and rough on the feet. The staff was amazing and very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend for a quiet get away and romance.

Great place near the water

Visiting Croatia. It was easy to make all kinds of arrangements with the help of the hotel. It was a pleasure to deal with everyone.

PERFECT!!

LOVED our stay here. Everyone was extremely hospitable and the view was amazing. Within walking distance of several great restaurants and grocery stores. Only a $5 taxi ride away from amazing shopping and other activities. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

A lovely place to stay with friendly helpful staff, a very good sea view room with the pleasure of waves crashing in the shore below! Excellent breakfast with a wide range of food options. Good restaurants within 20 minutes walk.....more closer in summer. Highly recommended

Great, some confusion with hotels.com about what was or was not included which was awkward and annoying. Breakfast room is way too small so if it is not fine you may have to wait a while. Otherwise nice Villa.

Lovely hotel

Villa Triana staff were very helpful and made for a hassle free journey from the airport. Upon our arrival we were pleasantly surprised with a warm welcome. The room was clean and very comfortable. The hotels pool and comfy sun loungers located a few steps away from the beach makes an ideal combination for those days lounging in the sun and/or shade. The bus stop for short ride into Zadar old town was ideally located a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Would stay at Villa Triana again.

Excellent accomodation in Zadar

Just stayed one night arrived late but that was not a problem hotel organised taxi from airport. Owner and staff very helpful and friendly. Would like to stay longer next time.

Overpriced and Over-Rated

The worst place we stayed at during our trip to Croatia. Nothing within close proximity so be prepared to drive. No parking at residence unless you are willing to pay 10 euro. Breakfast was OK at best. In our rooom there was a sewer type smell coming from the bathroom. No view of the water. This is a 2 star accomodation with 4 star pricing.

Clean and comfotable

Disappointed that no drink making facilities provided in room, i.e. Kettle, cups. However mini-bar at high prices which we were forced to use by necessity for a drink. Good breakfast in pleasant but cramped room.

Very good location

Would stay here again although would probably upgrade to a sea view next time. Rooms very clean and enough for what we needed. Excellent location right next to the sea.

Good comfortable budget hotel

Only needed room for the night during road trip down Croation coast and as I was arriving in Zadar, chose this spot for an easy start. Nice location, friendly and helpful staff and easy to find. It's about an hour's walk into the old town of Zadar, but very enjoyable walk along the coast .. excellent!

45 min walk into Zadar

Nice big clean room, clean bathroom. We couldn't get the wifi in our room. Nice and quiet. Right on the sea front and nice little pool area.

the hotel is situated not too far from the tourist area which is good when you do not have a car the dinning room is too small for the number of tables ,we were having breakfast packed like sardines ,could not have a private talk ,also breakfast was poor ,not much choice

Great location - right on the beach

The hotel was great. It's beautiful and right on the beach. Super close to the bus line to head into tge Old Town. The only reason we didn't give it the highest rating was that they only accepted cash - which was never explained to us. I had to contact my bank to allow for the larger withdrawl. Not a deal breaker - but would have been nice to know (and plan for) when we checked in.

A beautiful place to stay

The Villa Triana is the nicest hostelry that I have ever stayed in and I would recommend it to anyone that is thinking of visiting Zadar. The price was nowhere near as high as one might have expected for such a spacious and luxurious room. Although it is slightly remote from the Old Town there is a good bus service and there is a mini market very close by. The Adriatic Sea laps at the back garden during high tide and there is even a small swimming pool on the property with enough lilos to supply all the guests free of charge.

Nice place right on the beach

Nice small hotel right on the beach about 5 minute drive from city center. The neighborhood is primarily residential with a small market next door and a few restaurants within a 15 minute walk.

Close to the Sea!

Close to the Sea! Nice Place to relax short cab ride to town... but we did walk it one night about 45 minutes not a bad walk along the beach!! Staff are very nice and good food near by!

Lovely apartment, right by the sea!

We only stayed here for one night as we were travelling around Croatia, but found it to a great apartment, right by the sea. There's a nice patio area so you can sit outside, and a pool, although it was too cold for us to swim (we visited in early April). The view of the sea was lovely and the apartment is right near a supermarket, cash point and places to eat. There is also a bus stop by the supermarket so you can easily cath a bus to the city centre. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly - the girl who worked in reception went out of her way to show us around the area and also gave us advice for the rest of our trip. All in all, great value for money and couldn't have asked for anything more.

The villa triana is located a stones throw from the sea and we had a room with balcony overlooking the sea.The most spectacular sunsets! The cleaning staff were all very pleasant and Mario was very helpful. The bustop for bus to Zadar is just a minute away. The villa triana does not accept credit cards as stated by Hotels.com and we were marched to a bank while our passports were held as security. Luckily it was a friday, so the bank was open. I don't know what would have happened if this occurred on a sunday!!! I had chosen villa triana for the fact that they accepted credit cards, since we did not want to carry that sort of amount of cash on us. So beware!!!

Villa Triana Croatia - A good quiet experience

It was a very neat hotel. Didn't appear so from outside when I got there. Almost cancelled my researvation but when I got in, I was very impressed. The room was very neat and the owner was very nice and helpful. She gave very useful tourist advise and ways to get cheaper deals (eg buses, taxis etc). All in all for the amount I paid, it was a good experience

Ingen frukost, omöjligt att bada för oss lite äldre samt ont om restauranger inom gångavstånd.

Preis-/Leistung stimmt hier nicht; verglichen mit dem Imperial Valamar Rab ist es überteuert! Abartig sind die Steuern, die so hoch sind wie der Preis einer Nacht! Da stimmt doch etwas nicht!

Upea ja rauhallinen paikka ihan meren rannassa

Majoitus oli upea, meillä alakerrassa huone josta suora pääsy uimaaltaalle ja muutaman metrin päässä sijaitsevalle merelle. Rauhallinen allasalue ja häkellyttävän kaunis auringon lasku suoraan pihalta. Kahvia sai ottaa koneesta päivän mittaan miten vaan halusi. Pieni marketti sadan metrin päässä josta sai evästä. Majoituksen pitäjät erittäin ystävällisiä ja auttavaisia kaikessa.

Par où commencer... Tout d'abord, nous sommes très loin du 4* : - Pas de bar - Pas de services de restauration - Pas de SPA - indiqué sur leur site, inexistant sur place - Salle de petit déjeuner digne d'un formule 1 en France au pris de 16€!!! Pour ce prix là le restaurant à côté vous propose entrée, plat et dessert pour le diner - Le chien des propriétaires qui aboit fortement à 5h du matin, 6h, 7h jusqu'à ce que le propriétaire daigne sortir cette pauvre animal, faire ses besoins. Ensuite, nous avons subit des piqures de punaises de lit pendant toute la nuit : nous n'avons pas fermé l'œil. Et puis il y a la piscine : le liner était entouré d'une fine couche de moisi vert dont certaines bestioles toutes blanches se régalaient. Nous n'avons pas utilisé la piscine. Que dire de la chambre : douche digne d'un formule 1 (là encore), sale, tellement sale que la porte ne ferme plus à cause de la crasse accumulée tout autour. Enfin, nous avions réservé deux nuits : nous sommes partis au bout de la première nuit. Le propriétaire de l'hôtel ne s'est même pas déplacé pour venir nous voir et essayer de comprendre ce qui n'allait pas! Il vit sur place pourtant et c'est la réceptionniste qui a essayé d'arranger les choses comme elle pouvait. Je déconseille très fortement cet hôtel, qui n'a rien du standing d'un 4 étoiles, dont les propriétaires se moquent totalement de leurs clients et qui en plus n'investissent rien dans le minimum d'hygiène requis pour un établissement hôtelier.

Checking très compliqué en fin d’après-midi

Bien trop compliqué de récupérer les clés pour des arrivées dans l’après-midi, ça a été stressant et long à chaque séjour Alors qu’il est indiqué sur le site que les arrivées peuvent se faire toute la journée jusqu’au soir.

Flott uteplass nær havet

Hotellet ligger 10 min unna gamlebyen. Ta gjerne bussen som stopper rett utenfor. Busstider 2 ganger i timen . Nydelig og klart vann i havet, noen skritt fra hotellet. Noen restauranter i nærheten for lunsj og frokost. Matbutikk svært nær . Flott balkong og uteareal med solsenger . Hotellet bærer preg av noen mangler som dårlig trykk i dusj, eldre seng, safe som ikke virker og merkelig tvløsning . Vi hadde et fint opphold, med rolige dager og god service og hjelp fra de som jobbet der .

Avis mitigé

Côté positif, la vue, l'accès à la mer, la taille de la chambre et le petit déjeuner. Côté négatif, l'accueil du premier jour franchement désagréable, ménage non fait le 1er jour. A noter des prestations inexistantes par rapport au descriptif hôtel.com (pas de spa, pas de bar - 1 néanmoins à proximité...)

Uns hat die Lage der Unterkunft am Besten gefallen! Schiebt man die Tore der kleinen Aussenanlage auf, kann man direkt auf das Meer sehen. Es ist wirklich traumhaft. Die Ausstattung in der Unterkunft ist nicht der letzte Schrei, aber man kann es dort aushalten. Es ist etwas altmodisch und etwas abgenutzt. Bra hotell! Trevlig personal, fint rum i mestadels bra skick. Lite väl gammal och sliten soffa. Ligger fint vid vattnet, fina promenadmöjligheter. Precis intill en busstation som tar dig in till staden på cirka 10 minuter.

Tres propre , bord de l eau avec piscine. Belle plage a proximité . Bon petit dejeuner. Accueuil parfait. Le stationnement est tres limité et nous avons dû stationner sur la rue un peu plus loin ce qui en saison peut-être un peu difficile.

O hotel nao tem garagem. Indicam para deixar na rua. Nao tem black out nas janelas do quarto, portanto impossível dormir após 7 da manhã. Nao tem portaria 24h e cada hóspede se vira com o molho de chaves que te entregam no check in. Banheiro é grande mas o teto é triangular o que é um perigo. Bati várias vezes a cabeça. O Villa Triana diz que é 4 estrelas mas pelo que vivenciei é um 3 estrelas inferior.

Schönes, gemütliches Hotel in toller Lage

Das Hotel ist sehr schön und fast familiär, da es nicht zu viele Zimmer gibt. Wir hatten ein Zimmer ganz oben mit einem großen Balkon zum Meer. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und und sauber. Außerdem war es schön eingerichtet. Vom Balkon aus konnte man wunderbar den Sonnenuntergang im Meer beobachten. Es gab auch einen Pool und gemütliche Liegen sowie einen direkten Zugang zum Meer. Da mir das Meer zu steinig war (normal in Kroatien) habe ich meist den Pool bevorzugt, da ich mich nur abkühlen wollte. Auf dem Zimmer gab es auch eine Klimaanlage, sodass man den Raum gut runterkühlen konnte.

A nossa chegada nao foi nada agradável, o hotel não tinha garagem suficiente para o numero de hospedes, tivemos que pagar para colocarmos na garagem ao lado, e não foi isto o combinado.

Hotell med underbar utsikt

Ett familjärt och trevligt litet hotell med bra service. Fantastisk utsikt från balkongen över havet. Saknade dock ett samlingsrum med bar och en toalett vid poolområdet. Åker gärna tillbaka till hotellet.

El mejor hotel en Zagreb.

Schöne Lage-Kalte Zimmer

Leider gab es nur ein schmales Doppelbett(140cm) mit einer Matratze. Daher mussten wir ein zweites Zimmer dazu nehmen, für € 30,00 Aufpreis/Tag. Die ersten 3 Tage von 7 waren die Zimmer sehr kalt, da sich die Räume erst aufwärmen mussten(keine richtige Heizung, Pension nicht ausgelastet). Gänge waren immer kalt, da nicht beheizt. Leider war es auch im Dusch/WC Raum sehr kalt, da ebenfalls keine Heizung vorhanden ist. Frühstück war in Ordnung und man ist auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Leider waren die wenigen deutschsprachigen Sender gestört(Olympiade). Sehr schöner Ausblick aufs Meer mit großer Terrasse. Anlage direkt am Meer gelegen. WLAN ok. 5 Minuten mit dem Auto vom Zentrum entfernt. Personal nett und hilfsbereit. Gratis Parkmöglichkeit bei der Pension.

Hôtel tranquille pour passer une première nuit, déco un peu kitch mais propre dans son ensemble. La douche est petite. Un peu loin de l'aéroport mais largement faisable en voiture.

Netjes en zeer vriendelijk personeel

Een leuk klein hotel vlak bij de zee. Mooi zwembad met cabanas om in te liggen. De kamer was erg proper en ruim. Enkel de matras was veel te zacht en er was geen douche (enkel bad met sproeier). lekker ontbijtje met wat lokale specialiteiten. Auto hebben we makkelijk geparkeerd in een straatje nabij. (Gratis). 10min rijden van de stadskern. Personeel was supervriendelijk! Een tophotel!

sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. ein Highlight: Frühstück am Pool. Poolbereich sehr schön. Sehr schönes Zimmer, sehr sauber und toller Balkon mit phantastischer Aussicht. Lage direkt am Strand super. Kleine Strandbars und Supermarkt in der Nähe, aber dennoch ruhig. Anbindung an Zadar sehr gut

Jätte fint hotell med fantastisk utsikt

Vi hade sviten på våning två och hade en stor terass med utsikt mot havet. Helt fantastisk utsikt med fina solnedgångar. Personalen som jobbade på hotellet var väldigt serviceminded och trevliga. Det är ca 6 km att gå till gamla stan i Zadar men det går även buss strax utanför hotellet.

Litet hotell vid havet några kilometre utanför stadskärnan med resturanger och matbutik nära. Bussen till Zadar passerar utanför Hotellet. Unvik de två rumen I källaren med utgång mot poolen, övriga rum store med balkonger är att föredra. Bra frukost (även om inte av svensk standard). Rent och fräsht.

Vi var 8 vänner som åkte, 4 av oss har varit många gånger i området, 4 aldrig. Vi var alla nöjda, hotellet ligger bra, smidigt med supermarket bredvid och busshållplats. Buss funkar utmärkt att åka till olika ställen. Vi kommer åka tillbaka till samma hotell.

Kleines Hotel direkt am Meer mit hübscher Uferpromenade, ca 4 km von der Altstadt entfernt. Pool und Gartenliegen vorhanden und gut. Bushaltestelle direkt beim Hotel. Somit gute Anbindung. Gutes Frühstück. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden gerne wiederkommen.

Rent og pent og kjempegode madrasser. Stort og pent rom. Meget bra beliggende med bassengområde rett på stranden. Vi var der litt off season og derfor var det en del av de lokale kafeene og restaurantene som var stengt. Men buss-stopp til sentrum ligger rett utenfor hotellet og tar deg inn på 10 min ca. Anbefales på det sterkeste

Utrolig imøtekommende og hyggelig personale. Flott bassengområde og ville man bade i sjøen var det kun få meter å gå. Rolig boområde og det gikk buss hver 1/2 time inn til Zadar. Rene rom og bra frokost. Kommer helt klart hit igjen.
