An amazing stay, would love to come back! Thank you!!
Viareggio stay
Beautiful, period hotel, friendly, helpful staff, good breakfast, comfortable room, great location and view, however, booked a room with sea view and private balcony, only to find the balcony was actually shared with the room next door with only a row of plant pots separating both rooms access! As non smokers we were disappointed to find smokers in the adjoining room on our first night!Did complain to reception after check in but could not be relocated as hotel fully booked.Would certainly stay at Villa Tina again as long as balcony was private!
Lovely place to stay, noisy at night, friendly, helpful staff, would recommend
Wonderful team
We really enjoyed our stay as a family at Villa Tina and were very well looked after by the team. The property is beautiful, staff wonderful, location perfect.
Great hotel
Lovely hotel. Convinient to beach and all the restaurants. Front desk staff and night porter so helpful
Nice staff, loud room
Very nice and helpful staff, simple but good bar and minibar offering. Our room was a little noisy from facing the boardwalk (which is good location-wise), also the AC was loud. Other than that, the room was good and clean, shower functioned perfectly
ok
Nothing special - parking difficult - some what worn needs to be updated.
We loved Villa Tina, gorgeous, beautiful & in a fabulous location. We would like to thank the staff for their constant attention, they couldn’t do enough, we would go back tomorrow!! Villa Tina is one of the loveliest places we have stayed.
Inside Carnavale Villa Tina excellent location
We went to Viareggio for Carnavale! Amazing Location! Very nice staff, great service! Great ambiance
Location was amazing, right across from the beach. Room was huge comparatively speaking to European hotel rooms. The building and architecture was stunning and ceiling so high. We had a great view from our balcony of the sea!
Great hotel with beautiful views and super helpful staff. Would highly recommend it
Unique 1920's property. Lots of antiques. Staff were very nice and helpful. Great location.
Good, well-placed hotel
This is a charming, old-world hotel close to the beach and all shops, restaurants and cafes. It is very clean, with a good buffet breakfast. The Villa Tina is very close to bus stops directly linked to Pisa Airport. Travelling with heavy suitcases by train to and from Pisa Airport can be problematic as the lifts at Pisa Central and at Lucca are sometimes out of order.
Excellent hotel near the sea front
The Villa Tina is an excellent, charming hotel (formerly a villa belonging to a rich Florentine) close to the beach and all amenities including a bus stop from Pisa airport. The staff is excellent and the rooms charming in a 1920s/1930s way. Very clean and elegant. The breakfast is ample and delicious. Excellent choice for the discerning traveller.
To be recommended
Villa Tina was a lovely place to stay . I was in the single room on the second floor which was small but had a little balcony. All the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to give advice on places to go to and even lending an umbrella when the weather was bad. The breakfast was good with lots of choice.
Weather was amazing booking issues and extra charges not mentioned when booking were a little disappointing
Beautiful hotel close to the beach
Beautiful hotel close to the beach, very helpful staff. Good breakfast in fabulous surroundings. The interior of this hotel really is beautiful. Will definitely be back to stay again.
Great little hotel with great views over the passegiata in Viareggio, breakfast was ample and light.
It was like staying at the Versaille
We were upgraded to the "Tina" room and we felt like we were at the Versaille. High ceilings all embossed and hand painted, a four foot wide chandelier of Venetian hand blown glass, fabulous antique furniture and parquet flooring. The breakfast was excellent and the ladies at the reception desk were very helpful. The location of the hotel is wonderful, close to the beach and the promenade and easy to get to from the train station. You should know that Pisa is only 15 minutes away by train.
Lovely former 1920s villa right on the sea front
We were met by a lovely young lady at reception who couldn't have been more helpful. Our room on the second floor had a small balcony overlooking the esplanade and sea. We were able to park immediately opposite the hotel and the hotel issued a ticket for 24hours, the duration of our stay, for only €4.00. Cost at the meter is €1.00 per hour. There are no shortage of restaurants nearby and if retail therapy is your thing plenty of high end stores along the esplanade.
Lovely Family Run Hotel Ideal Sea front location
Villa Tina has to be one of the friendliest hotels I have stayed in. Staff happy to look up train and bus timtables and arrange bicycle hire 10e per day. Buffet breakfast including homemade cake. Excellent location. Very good public transport., easy access to Pisa Florence &Lucca on busses and trains. Hotel is about 20 min walk from train & bus station. Local area very clean and locals helpful, bicycle lanes that go for miles all along coast and all flat...used by both locals and tourists with lots of cafes and bars along the way.Nice large public park behind hotel that also has several children's plays areas and rides. Would recommend this hotel more for adults but Viagerrio is definitely a good all rounder for all travellers.
Great Hotel and Stay
Very nice hotel - room and staff very good. good value for money would go back. Nice location.
Excellent hotel, great staff
Excellent hotel. Great location with views of the sea. Staff were superb, nothing was an issue for them and they gave us great advice. We will definitely return.
Gorgeous hotel
The hotel is beautiful , we had a lovely stay . The staff were very helpful and friendly and the location was perfect. The room was quite small but this wasn't a problem , we had a room with a balcony which we enjoyed catching a few ray's on and watching the sunset. The eggs and 'hot food at breakfast were cold but after mentioning it to the night staff it was hot after this. We will return ,
The hotel could have offered tea and coffee making facilities and the tv had no English speaking channels of the facility to select English subtitles. However, these are small issues when the hotel have such high standards in every other respect. Loved it and would go back but not for 14 nights - maybe for a shorter stay.
Very close to beach
Remarkably well kept and very clean hotel on the promenade at Viareggio. A lot of outside noise, but we had read about this from previous reviews, and only really a problem at weekends.
Love Villa Tina!!!
Such a lovely hotel, great staff, great breakfast, great location just across the street from the beach! Beautiful, classic hotel! Would definitely stay there again!
Art Deco style - good service
I really enjoyed being in the beautiful art deco glamour of the place (with high ceilings, leaded lights, chandeliers, fine plasterwork etc) at the best place on the town's promenade. Staff were very friendly and professional. Only negatives I could give are that my one-bed room was small and the black coffee in the morning could have been much better. Notwithstanding I would recommend it to anyone.
Wonderful retirement holiday
Villa Tina is perfect for the.beach, restaurants, rail and bus. Clean rooms, friendly helpful staff.
A wonderful and full of character hotel
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Villa Tina, a small hotel, full of character, situated across a road and pedestrian boulevard from the main beach. There are many shops, restaurants and snack bars within a short walk too. The hotel is charming with a beautiful, historic and well maintained interior, which includes a bright, wood panel breakfast room and adjoining lounge area. Breakfast is mainly self service with a wide choice of cold meats, cheese, pastries and preserves plus a selection of cooked eggs, bacon and sausages. Our room was on the second floor and had a balcony over a small side street, from which we sat and watched the sea and the bustle below. Even though the hotel is on the corner of a street and road there is no problem with noise. The room had very effective blinds for use at night and in addition to air conditioning, also had a ceiling fan, the latter was all that was needed to keep the room at a pleasant temperature. The room was small but well appointed with plenty of wardrobe space, a small fridge and very clean shower room. The staff were absolutely wonderful, so helpful and friendly. Villa Tina is a truly delightful place to stay and one day we hope to return!
Perfect for short stay
Excellent reception staff and they still have the courtesy room so you can freshen up after our stay. It is in an ideal location for the beach. The room was comfortable, although I had the basic room and it was an odd experience having the shower toilet and sink all in the one separate room, and it was unavoidable getting water everywhere as the shower did not have a separate tray. The view was great, but not all rooms have balconies, I would say maybe 8 out of the 15, they would have been the family ones. It was in a prime location for the beach, the restaurants, the Pinewood and everyone was very accommodating, speaking a range of languages and in particular English. I would go back to the hotel, but probably not on my own, as a double room would be probably be of better quality. However, what I had was the good, and perfect for the needs of my short vacation in Viareggio.
superb hotel
Everything is done to a very high standard. In addition the two charming sisters that run the hotel and their staff treated us like members of their family, doing their best to think of our needs win advance and be hospitable.
Di classe
Ambiente elegante e cordiale
Unico e imperdibile
Slitet men bra läge
Man hört ALLES.
Comodo fronte mare. Lo staff disponibile e cordiale. Colazione abbondante e di qualità. Consigliato
Sehr schön, wenn auch z. T. nachts ein wenig laut.
Sehr schönes, stilvolles Haus in bester Lage an der Promenade, was aber natürlich auch eine gewisse Lärmbelastung während der Nacht von gegenüber liegenden Bars bedeutet, v. a. am Wochenende. Außerordentlich nettes, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.
Ontzettend vriendelijk geholpen.
I had the single room, great value for money, perfect localisation 100 m from the beach.
Väldigt bra boende med utmärkt läge i Viareggio. Personalen var mycket trevlig och hjälpsam!
Una splendida villa tenuta benissimo pulizia accurata, proprietarie molto gentili. Tornerò
Bra beliggenhet.
Nice older hotel with some great charm
