Amazing place, great staff

Great stay, exceeded expectations. Beautiful property, outstanding service.

Well to start with my parents room had ants in the bathroom 3 out of 4 days (nights). The hotel is also wedged between a cemetery and an apartment complex about a 10 minute walk into the main part of town. The restaurant is fancy but it will still be a while before they get a Michelin star. I would not stay here again.

All really good except room was not ready on arrival so had to wait over 45 mins. Room cleaning was done at the end of the day. Most other hotels seem to do a morning clean which is preferred if returning to the room during the day

Un hôtel de luxe qui sera vous charmez. Le voiturier a été très aimable. À l’accueil une jeune femme très gentille nous a fait faire le tour de l’hôtel. De nombreuses attentions nous sont offertes en chambres ainsi qu’un plateau de bienvenue composer de thé glacés et de délicieuse madeleine. Nous y sommes allée ce dernier week-end de août et peu de voyageurs qui nous offrent donc une expérience encore plus intimiste. Je vous recommande cette établissement.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Amazing pool, delicious food and really convenient for central Aix. The staff were very attentive and we will definitely return. Cannot fault anything and would highly recommend. Chapeau!

Amazing garden and service

This property is absolutely stunning! The staff was a dream and always at your service. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed my time there. Highly recommend, 10/10!

Lovely hotel with wonderful bedrooms and great staff. I would say the food in the a la carte restaurant and quality of the facilities (spa particularly) are not necessarily up to the quality where this hotel should be. Great stay nonetheless

Beautiful hotel. Everything about it is perfect! The gardens, terrace and swimming pool are very well maintained and comfortable. Breakfast is very good with excellent buffet together with cooked to order egg dishes. In walking distance of gorgeous shops and restaurants. Perfect for a weekend away or, like is part of a tour around the area, we will return!

Excellent hôtel, calme, personnels très gentils, petit déjeuner excellent et varié. Le restaurant gastronomique n'est pas à la hauteur. Très cher pour des plats qui arrivent froids et trop salés pour certains. Je recommande à 10 mn à pied le restaurant le jardin de Mazarin où c'est excellent et moitié prix que celui de l'hôtel.

The hotel was beyond our expectations! It was such a beautiful hotel who paid great attention to all the details from the surroundings to the decoration of the rooms and interiors. It’s famous restaurant was definitely worth to try with iy’s food quality and the atmosphere. Only the service was a bit slow or unexpected as they might use interns as waitress. But overall everything was perfect and definitely we would like to come back.

Beautiful grounds, good-sized pool, staff beyond ordinary and good-sized, gorgeous rooms. We dined at the restaurant our first night and the atmosphere and food was some of the best we experienced in Provence.

This is a beautiful hotel located a short walk outside the centre of Aix-en-Provence. Could not fault the stunning hotel or the service. Aix itself is a great place to spend a few days with plenty of restaurants and a very lively atmosphere. We flew in to Marseille and hired a car as we were travelling further. You do have to pay for parking beneath the hotel but we felt it was worthwhile. We stayed early June 2023.

Endroit magnifique. Restaurant vraiment pas à la hauteur, service très lent, beaucoup trop d’apprentis pour ce genre d’hôtel.

I would recommend. Not cheap , but relaxing

Love the hotel, but food in room Service was bad, sorry to say. He’s room , comfy. The concierge was outstanding, spoke English well, helped lot!! My last day of departure food was brought one hr earlier, not good, but thank god I already just woke up..

A beautifully decorated hotel with excellent staff and service. The staff was especially wonderful for any of my needs. The workout room was less than an average American Best Western hotel. The only working piece was a water rower, which was fine. The stationary cycle was terrible. Even if it worked it was not operable by a short person . My feet, at the lowest setting, couldn’t reach the pedals. The pedals did not work in opposition, as a normal bike. There were no instructions, There was no treadmill, no elliptical machines. The room itself was lovely but not functional. The massage room was a small space accessed through this exercise room. The end result was not luxurious nor spa-like. Thus the low facilities rating for a hotel that lists itself as a spa.

We felt very good at the property. Really relaxing atmosphere and nice garden. Will come visit again.

I loved my stay in this wonderful hotel. Everything was outstanding. The Restaurant ( mentioned in the Michelin guide was absolutely incredible. I will return to this hotel again and again.

Great pool. "Hot" tub was only warm. Sound of pool circulation water could be heard all night in the room.

Arrival and check-in experience was next level, every element of the property (architecture, gardens, swimming pool, bedroom) is breathtaking, and our evening dining experience was five star.

This property is absolutely beautiful and enchanting! Love the stay. Not friendly for celiac or those that avoid gluten but there is a few place in town that carry lots of gluten free goodies.

Absolutely perfect in every way. Rooms are smaller but perfectly appointed and very comfortable

Lovely customer service from beginning to end. The concierge team took care of all our needs -- transfers, dinner reservations, recommendations etc. 5 star experience!

Beautiful hotel on the edge on town. The only thing lacking was the Gym. No cardio machines or weights.

I stayed at Villa St. Ange for two nights in May of 2022. This hotel is, in a word, exquisite! From the perfectly landscaped grounds, to the lovely cuisine, from the sparkling pool, to the highly attentive staff, VSA is very aptly titled a hotel of luxury. In my personal experience, the sole area where an opportunity for improvement exists is food and bev. Presently, the restaurant service lags a little behind the hotel's impeccable standards. Just a few more staff training moments, however, and it will be at parity with its lodging counterpart - of this I have no doubt! Less the state of the current service, the cuisine is fresh, well-made and thoughtfully presented. Merci, les chefs!! Thank you, Villa Saint Ange for creating an exceptional vacation experience! I cannot wait for my next stay! :)

Excellent location and beautiful property

Place and rooms were lovely, staff were great, very helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend and will be going back again.

We stayed 8 nights here and generally had a wonderful time. The hotel is beautiful and our rooms were set amidst lovely gardens, each with a little outdoor patio. Service was attentive, warm and personable. Staff went out of their way to attend to our needs, and all our requests were attended to promptly. Rooms are huge, clean and well decorated. The only suggestion I have is that they provide a kettle and a complimentary tea/coffee making facility within the room. This is really a standard service that is provided in most hotels, but it goes a long way to making the stay more comfortable for the guests.

This place is a dream. The rooms are stunningly beautiful, and the garden grounds are too. It's the most romantic hotel I've ever stayed in. Robes and slippers, mini bar, ornate decor, large terrace. They served us a welcome drink when we got there, too. The restaurant is gorgeous as well and the good was very good, although we thought it was a little bit overpriced. And it's walking distance to the Cours Mirabeau too.

Extremely helpful staff, namely Quentin. The ambience is quiet and the hotel and the garden are extremely beautiful.

This is a fantastic property in every way. Friendly staff who speak English. Gorgeous grounds with beautiful gardens and pool area. Great location. about a 5-10 minute walk to the center of town. You do have to pay for valet parking, around $30.00 per day. But well worth it, as you will not find parking anywhere in Aix during high season. We stayed in a Deluxe King room. It was clean spacious,and beautiful. We ate at the restaurant on site. The restaurant is gorgeous and a special treat. Yes, you can eat elsewhere for less money, but treat yourself and eat here one night of your stay. We only stayed one night. Wish we could stay longer.

Deserves 6 stars out of 5! And it deserves a category better than excellent. It was the very best accommodation and experience of all the places we stayed on our 6 week trip through France and Germany, including our other stays at 5 star hotels. The attention to every detail and the condition of the property was absolutely outstanding. Highlights include the pool and lounge area, the dining room and food, and the feeling of an oasis in the middle of the city. The rooms and building transported us to a most elegant era of French hospitality.
