Family of 5 booked 3 x rooms for 3 nights. Went for the cheapest rooms they had without a view. The rooms were dated; marks on walks - felt a little dirty tbh. The day we arrived they had an exterminator spraying the rooms... not the best of timing when the new guests are walking into the rooms. Negatives: don't book the cheapest rooms; the other rooms looked better. They have a pool in the basement, BUT its not heated - the water was freezing! PLUS - we have never experienced this - we had to pay 100 lira EACH for a swimming cap, which no one looked at afterwards. A hidden tax in our opinion. Steam room did not really work; they have a sauna which is small. Small lobby area - the stairs seems to be filled with their items (cleaning stuff etc..) depending on lifts. Good points: Location is great close to Grand Bazar. Next to tram stop and a couple of stops up from the Blue Mosque. Breakfast is simple - not too much hot stuff; more cold foods. Would I stay here again - for a better room yes, but truthfully most probably not.
The worst hotel I have seen in my life
Nightmare hotel wouldn’t recommend
I wasn’t happy with the service and also during our first 3 days after midnight too much noise sleeping disturbance wrong information on description. Blanket covers are torn.
Enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.
Excellent hotel, close to Riyadh airport (20 mins), huge apartment with separate lounge area, large comfortable beds, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, surrounding area is really good with plenty of food places. Spa was fantastic. Breakfast was average. Highly recommend.
Not clean and smells very bad
Small rooms, not clean, it smells bad and not well isolated. This place needs to be renovated and cleaned. The only positive point is the location but other than that I don’t recommend it.
Great hotel , great view , wonderfull trip ... we are all gratefull from all of it Diffenetly we are coming back
Stay was ok
We only booked this hotel to overnight before our international flight back. Location is nice, very close to gran bazaar but the hotel is really dated. Rooms are old
Some services team (room cleaning) need some training to deal with guest.
In general the hotel is excellent. The stuff are very helpful and professional. The rooms are clean, The location is in the heart of Istanbul. Everything is very close, the metro is a two minutes a way from the hotel however the breakfast is not that much and could be better.
very nice and clean.
its a great place to stay, all the facilities, tram, shops, restaurants are just out side,
Don't stay here
Economy rooms are horrible. Claustrophobic, very very little space and window opens up to a wall with barely any sunlight getting in. AC didn't really work, was complicated to figure out controls. So tiny room was muggy as well. The shower doesn't drain nor retain properly so every time we showered it flooded the rest of the bathroom (there was no second drain) and we had to clean it up with towels. They say fridge is working but it's not, the food we put in there went bad. Its very warm to the touch. There was melted water in there. When I first complained to a staff member he said they are not using fridges due to COVID which didn't make sense. When I spoke to the manager later he said no fridges are working "you just can't make ice in them". So staff is dishonest. Someone says they're not using fridges but then manager contradicts. Cleanliness is not very good, our coffee tray had some sticky substance on it. Fridge was also dirty. We only ever saw one cleaning lady managing the whole hotel during our 3 night stay. After second day we were fed up and complained but they blamed us for not complaining earlier and said all they could do was transfer us to another economy room for our last night. I saw the room and it was exactly the same as the one we were in, fridge didn't work either. The breakfast was good. That was the only good thing about the hotel. Otherwise, horrible room, unhelpful management.
Recomended
Very gd location. Helpful staff
great hotel
Great hotel and rich breakfast
beautiful
Great hotel!
It was good although short
Everything was excellent, room, bed, and the hotel is in the best location in Istanbul.
It’s clean but the employees who works they try to make money off you anyway they can
Very good location, people at front desk were very nice and helpful.
If you are a non smoker then stay away. The staff is not able to understand the meanings of "non smoking"
Spa under renovation - no notice
The hotel was nice, but the reason I choose this hotel was the spa. When we arrived at the hotel, the staff told me the spa was closed due to renovations. I didn't receive any notice about this! Also, the shower was good, but some of the title wasn't finished in the bathroom. The hotel was clean, but I expected more, a hotel that was in better condition.
breakfast could have been better and also wifi was bad. rest was good.
Stay right next to grand bazaar and have a hamam inside hotel . Its wonderful
Ezcellent location, but thats where it ends
This hotel is like a comedy hotel, faulty towers, always something wrong in a room, u can ask for another room which they will give you but it will never be right. Staff are nice and location is perfect, thats about it. Spa is a joke, no room privacy, house keepers would storm in anytime, if your not ready for them then your room wouldnt be clean for that day. No soundproofing, u can hear everything, u can only laugh otherwise you cry.
Good value with a nice view from the rooftop
Easy checkin, good breakfast with a good view, good location.
The room and hotel were clean, but I recommended to others be careful about booking an economy room as it doesn't have enough brightness during the day even haven't a good view.
Hotel very close to tram
Some of the Hotel staff very nasty because they don't speak English except for a gentleman at the reception and a lady in the restaurant. The cleaner that cleans our room 101 is very rude
Good location.
Nice Hotel, frindley staff, neer Mltro station. Note; (Why should I have to write more to submiit the MSG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
anywhere but ....
The behavior of the night receptionist was unacceptable... Refused to correct the key card when asked for... (It was not possible to operate the door of the room with the key card after a while) He lied in to my face saying the correction is not possible and I might want to use only one card with my room mate together. He was rude and his English was poor as well. Next morning I asked the morning receptionist, who was able to correct the faulted key card in a few seconds.
Close to Sightseeing
It is NOT a 5 stars hotel but staffs provide excellent services. Receptionist willing to do they best to improve whatever guests required i.e. exchange for room. Also, I have lost my hotel keycard when I was drunk, and the receptionist (lady) provide me a new 1 without extra charge. She even helped me to translated my love letter in Turkish lauguage. Swim pool is a bit small but not crowded with guests. Breakfast is pretty much the same everyday, but I satisfied with all the basic nutrition I need. The only downside is the WIFI connection, pretty slow, perhaps it is not a issue for those who don't stay online 24/7.
victory review
Nice hotel - recommended to all - near tramway and major attractions
Nice hotel close to shopping and attractions
I had bad experience with my tour activity. The shuttle came 45 minutes early and driver wanted me to go with him write at that moment, he did not even waite 2 minutes for me to pickup my jacket and left without me. He was very rude. I have requested refund of my tour activity. The speedy car service from airport was good.
Great location close to most of the cites
The hotel is very nicely situated, very close to grand bazar and the rest of the places for sight seeing. Great breakfast on the top floor from where you can see part of the city and sea. The cleanliness is not on its best. I would suggest it for short stay due to the good price and great location.
Mix of Positives & Negatives
Its difficult to get value for money hotel in Istanbul! Very noisy, no sound proof rooms, almost every noise you can hear from the lobby. Housekeeping is poor, didnt cleaned room properly, have to tell them to put coffee in my room. Mine was ofcourse economy room but when you open window there is just another building/wall in just one feet from your window. So, standard room is ideal, but may cost little more. Internet slow. Room very compact. Breakfast average to good but same everyday. Can stay max 2-3 nights. Area is very crazy with traffic, so plan early for airport. There are some positives like location with some good shopping/restaurants nearby, small Gym and Spa in the hotel. Aksaray Metro station 1km/10-15min walk by which you can visit a Mall Forum Istanbul!
Not happy
Really bad experience, they did not let my mother stay with me because they thought we were a couple. The bathroom in the room was dirty and with a horrible smell. Insects running around the room and stuff.
Comfortable, Welcoming And Well Located
A fairly new hotel, fitted out to a high standard. It offers larger than average rooms that are comfortable and fully equipped and have impressive showers (but no baths) and good (free) wi-fi. The rooftop restaurant offers a good breakfast - with impressive views over the Sea of Marmara. Close to the Beyazit tram stop and an entrance to the Grand Bazaar, this is a very convenient location, but this means there is some noise from traffic (and the Mosque) at the front of the hotel. My first choice for my next visit to Istanbul.
Not a bad hotel
Walking distance to all amusements , tram , blue mosque BZar, but not at the quite place , lots of noise in the night ,
Great location and excellent facilities.
Great location, buffet breakfast very good, spa, gym and swimming pool great. Room walls are a bit thin. Staff very friendly and hepful - they wanted so much to help us.
Near attractions
Victory is a good hotel near all attractions. Tramway is 2 mn away. Overall all was good, just a small problem with the hamam in the SPA where the drain was out of order and we were asked to leave the hamam by a rude employee.
Very bad quality for money paid.
Very bad quality for money paid. We were very disappointed - it's a 3* hotel, not more. Room: small, very smelly bathroom. No sound isolation: you will hear all neighbours taking shower and talking. It's also very noisy from the street. Breakfast: very poor! Nothing to eat. Only salads with mayonnaise... Swimming pool: without heating, water 18 degrees! it's too cold to swim! Gym: just a couple of machines. No ventilation - very humid from the swimming pool. Opens only at 10am. So if you plan to do sports in the morning before sightseeing - not possible. After 4 days we mowed to The Parma Taksim Hotel - same money, but 5* level!
Very
Worst hotel I have seen in this price range
Rating...
i stay here for 6 nights... staff are helpfull but few of then dont understand engish window is damage is guess.when.we open.its come to ur self... room are small... spa swim gym.just.okay.... they dont allow guest to come at room and meet that is.very shamful and embrace for.me ... any ways other things are just okay i rate over all 3
Fantastic
My stay at the hotel was fantastic. Apart from walking distance to all the attractions, the staff were a group of well mannered and helpful lot. The five nights there were well worth the money and I would recommend ot to all..
Peace full location
Found it a good place for a foreigner. Easy access to renowned places
Close to shopping
Front desk staff were not at all helpful and somewhat rude Hotel was catering more to their local guests
Nice place
Great location
Fantastic location, close to almost all major attractions. I stayed in an interior room that looked out to a wall. If you dont mind not having a view it was good value.
Great little hotel, VERY close to most attractions
Hotel is very clean, the breakfast buffet that was included was a great way to start the day. All the main attractions (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace, both bazaars and the bosphorus river as well as numerous other mosques) are within walking distance (average time about 10 minutes walk, sometimes longer in the case of river and spice bazaar).
A little gem
This was such a great find! Enthusiastic and efficient staff, EXCELLENT BREAKFAST, and nicely appointed rooms plus the added joy of the spa downstairs, nice clean pool and sauna and steam room. We will definitely be going back!
Good location
When we got to the hotel, the hotel was very clean and looks really luxury. We was greeted outside and the person at the desk was very helpful in telling us good food places and assisting us in every way he could.
Nice hotel, bad staff
They asked me 10 euros for a lost plastic key. The card to open the door was already looking, when I got it, lousy and used. It happened I lost the key card, and I was asked to pay TEN euros for a plastic card. This is not serious at all
Excellent hotel, just a little small.
Victory was close to perfect. For approximately $100/night it was the best value. Very modern/new and perfect location. Closest to the Grand Bazaar (although the shopping was not as good as we expected). Our room was an inside economy room, very nice but small and NO view. However that made it quiet. The gym, sauna, steam bath and especially the Turkish bath were all top notch. Only thing missing was a water fountian and a clock. All very positive except for one thing.......Our room 412, and possibly others did not have proper plumbing done. The toilet and shower plumping were connected without a goose neck and so not only could you hear the flushing quite loudly but occationally it would smell badly. We did not try to cover the shower drain with a towel.....that probably would work. One staff member admitted there was a bit of a problem but we could not confirm how many rooms it involved. It wasn't so bad that we would not go again. Still highly recommend it. Just about forgot....the breakfast was excellent with a view!
Great value for money, Beautiful interior
Great little hotel for the money. Beautiful design inside and an absolutely amazing looking spa in the basement with a beautiful pool. Fitness area is small but very well equipped with quality machines. Inside no view rooms may be claustrophobic for some but the decor made up for the lack of space. Very well designed boutique type hotel for an awesome price. Breakfast is adequate to get you through the day and pretty decent for Turkey standards.
Good Location, but very small rooms!!!
I stayed 2 nights in this hotel, have an good things like they are very close to Grand Bazaar, so I have to say that location is very convenient. About the room, I have to say that was very small room, service room terrible... Suppose, they have to do bed and clean room properly but when I got back to the hotel my room was only half made. About the staff... I think they can be more nicer and kind,I dont know if is matter of culture.. But I think they are too toff with the customers with the exception of the bell boy... He was kind and always smiling in nice way.
Good location.
Good location within walking distance of bazaar (5 mins), blue mosque / hippodrome precinct (15 mins). We had a corner room which was large and quite well appointed.
hotel recommended
great location, close to sites in sultanahmet, handy tram service just outside hotel, great spa facilities in hotel, room was a bit small and shower was a bit smelly, but overall very good!
First impression was bad impression
So Disappointing, on of the several most bad situations i faced was: in the breakfast i was putting a tomato in my dish, but it felt on the floor so as a courtesy of me i didn't waste it and i put it back in my own dish, and then the garson came to fight me asking hey where did i but the tomato? i guess he thought i had but it back to the main dish, the bad news is when you do excellent things and people treat you bad you feel frustrated, another situation was second day in the restaurant the didn't open the condition and it was so hot even i was sweating so i asked the same garson who i guess had put me in his thoughts to get even, he said we don't want to open it, then another garson came and open the window, then the first garson came and closed the window to tease me, and else things, of course you will suspect this is true, well its up to you guys believe or not, the same garson the second day i was in the hotel , i asked to change my room because the internet connection was so bad so the receptionist told him to go and check the connection which was to bad, so he came back and spoke in turkish saying the connection is good,
Good location
Disappointing, for different reasons, i think they don't care about and reviews other wise they will change, i think there policy is depending on new clients all the time
Great location
We had a very pleasant experience. We got in very early and was given rooms although check-in was till 6 hours off. We were also offered a complementary breakfast. The hotel is a bit cramped but close to the Grand bazaar and about 15 min walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia.
Fine hotel
Loved the SPA. great turkish bath. Rooms could be bigger. Great location.
Good location
Good hotel walking distance all major attraction. Our room was a standard room and was a bit small but bigger room available but more $$$. Breakfast was so so and need to improve. Overall good.
Awesome! ~ Location, Service, and Quality
Staff was awesome and helpful, room had a great view of the university, blue mosque, and grand bazaar. The only thing that I didn't like was the thinness of the walls - we couldn't sleep when we wanted to because our next door neighbor was watching tv and we heard everything. We could also hear the prayers from the mosque clear as day, the rooms would be much more comfortable with soundproofing. But otherwise - everything was great.
A gem
This hotel was wonderful! They helped us with our 2am check in, the bell boy was very helpful and there is a mind blowing view from the 5th floor with a more than adequate breakfast buffet.
Bas Experience
It was my firt time that i used online websites to book hotel based on the reviews. I really had bad experince in terms of customer service. Staff was not at all cooperative. AC was not working. Despite number of complains no action taken.
hmmm not overtly happy
Paid for a superior double room but on arrival was offered a twin bed room as no doubles were available. Staff offered a family room instead which was comfortable but not really suitable for our needs. Also the main reason why i booked the hotel was for its 'outstanding' restaurant and indoor pool. However, breakfast was a disappointment as everyday we had the same buffet breakfast with not alot of choice. The indoor pool came with a catch - you need to wear a swimming hat to use it....they charge 15liras for that! Another thing we noticed was that staff spoke very little or no english at all which made it difficult to communicate with them. Staff at the restaurant wouldnt even meet and greet or make eye contact or smile even! Also the cleaners who come to clean the room didnt change the bed sheets but just made the bed, on entering the room we found the bins hadnt been changed and on our last day there was an aweful smell coming from the bathroom drainage system.
Excellent all round accomodation
Everything about the hotel was excellent. Service was fantastic. Rooms were clean. Staff were very helpful. I would definitely recommend staying there. Location was also excellent. Very close to the Beyazit tram stop. Close to the Grand Bazaar. And within walking distance to the Blue Mosque.
Great location
The hotel was excellently located - very close to Beyazit square tram stop for easy access to the old town, yet quiet at night time. The room itself was immaculate, and although there seem to be a few teething problems due to the newness of the hotel, any issues I had were dealt with very quickly by very friendly staff! My only complaint about the Victory Hotel was the 'spa' area. Despite this being very nice; new and clean, it seems very underused, so going to it feels a little strange, as the staff don't seem to know what to do with visitors! I strongly suspect that this has a lot to do with their policy of making everyone wear swimming caps in the pool, which means of course that no one uses the pool, and I really hope they change their policy on this. Overall, I had an excellent stay here.
Perfect location and reasonable price, looks newer in the pictures.
Overall very good
Location is superb, lovely service and good breakfast. This was the second time I stay in this hotel and I would happily return again. Recommended.
Sahtekarlık bu
Eşimle beni sitesinde hiçbir uyarı olmaksızın nikah cüzdanı olmadığı için gecenin 3 de otelden çevirdiler otopark yok yardımcı olacak kimse yok ben böylesi birley görmedim nikah cüzdanı olmadan giriş yapamazsınız diye uyarı verin o zaman
Bad
Very bad hotel the reservation manger is the most horrible person I had to talk to dirty place I had to clean the room my self
Very good stay
It was a very nice stay at the hotel! Staff was there always to help en very friendly. If I go back to Istanbul I will take the same hotel. It was clean, the rooms were big enough. It was not far from the bazar en centrum.

Nice stay in central location
We had a really pleasant stay in the Victory Hotel - particularly the staff was very helpful and accommodating above and beyond expectations. Hotel is very well situated in proximity to the main tourist sites which was the primary goal of our visit. Recommeded. Wifi worked but at low speed.
Kurztrip 3Personen
alles OK sehr Preiswert
Fijn hotel midden in het centrum, heel centraal. Vriendelijk personeel.
The elevator was Way too slow. Also, we were told that the pool was free, but then we had to pay a for a hat to have acces which is not really satisfying for us. The workers were very Nice and positive, and the place was kept clean. It’s a fine hotel for the price.
Couldn’t sleep through all over my stay very nosy at night people slammed door talk loudly lots of distribution you cant swim if you dont have swimming cap you have to pay 100 lira sauna and steam room dont work when you need it I wouldn’t recommend and i also wont go back to this hotel
