Well what can I say - this place is fabulous - we were treated like a prince and princess from the moment we arrived. Imagine how you feel approaching a resort with everyone standing waving and waiting for your boat to bring you to shore! Cold towels and a beautiful drink to welcome you. The experience though begins well before this with a private transfer from the airport to the beach and then a launch out to the resort. All smooth and easy. As for the resort .... everyone is just so lovely - beautful people with gorgeous personalities and smiles. We loved our breakfasts each morning on a stunning balcony - plenty of options - we did try most of them. Dinner each night on the beach was magic - all choreographed so no two nights were the same - I am sure they even organised the stunning sunsets. All the staff were outstanding and Herwin especially was a delight - we spent seven nights here and were so relaxed and pampered. Loved every minute and can definitely recommend at stay here at this little slice of paradise.

Our stay was amazing. From the time we stepped off the boat to our own private beach area. The staff was waving and greeted us then took our bags and washed the sand off our feet. We were given a refreshing drink and a cool towel right away. Then we were given a run down of how everything worked there. It was a great way to start our experience with them. The food was awesome. It is a little expensive but it’s to be expected being on an island with only one restaurant. The room was epic. The view was unreal and we took a tour with them with their speed boat which was also well worth it. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet yet beautiful place by the ocean with great views. They will take you to the main island for a few as well so you are not trapped on the island for your entire stay. They accept just cash so make sure you bring enough.

We had an amazing vacation here for 5 nights. The beach view suite was spectacular! Everything was worth every penny. The views, sunsets, snorkeling at your feet, private beach, lemon squash drinks, island private tour, the amazing staff, and our romantic birthday dinner. Thank you to the incredible staff and manager! Hope to be back again and stay a little longer.

Very nice

Staff was great and very accommodating but the property is very run down. The villa we were in had broken seals so the bugs were constantly in the room. The room was literally full of bugs. Also, transportation was not included in the price. For the price it’s at. Atleast shuffles should’ve been provided. & the restaurant didn’t really have any options.

The staff was amazing and the view was fenomenal. They setup this incredibly amazing dinner by the shore where I proposed to my bf. I strongly recommend the Vellago Resort. We are definitely going back.

Views and rooms are great!!!

Wow…what a place and hotel. This hotel is one of those places you see in a movie… you get a chance to live like royalties for few days. Amazing staff with unbelievable service mentality. The owner Thomas is great guy who helps you with anything you need. This hotel is must visit !!!

Amazing stay! Staff is always here when you need them and very friendly! Very good and nice restaurant and bar. But the best is obviously the room and the view! It is truly a paradise on earth !

Perfect Stay. Thank You Vellago Resort!

Excellent hotel. The staff was so friendly, kind and caring to my gf and I (now fiance) during our trip. True boutique with only a few rooms. All guests get 1 on 1 service. Great dinners on the beach and breakfast on our private deck. Owner is hands on as well and keeps a keen eye out for the guest's comfort and benefit. The views are breathtaking. The property has great ambiance and the plants and flowers are nicely trimmed and the whole environment gives a beautiful, lush tropical vibe.

A small resort with only 6 rooms. The service was exceptional, great location on the beach.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Vellago, beautiful experience from initial pickup to the end. The beach in the front is one the best around Palawan, you can swim, snorkel etc. The rooms are also great, decorated & maintained nicely, lots of space, perfect patio with greatest views. Breakfast- you can chose from the menu & they are all tasty! As well as other food on the menu for lunch & dinner; we enjoyed them all, tasted great. Staff is really friendly & nice; they do their best to please guests. It is a unique and luxurious experience, definitely recommend for everyone!

Honeymoon

The staff were amazingly nice and always listen to our requests. Maybe it is us, but the food was not delicious as we ecpect it would be. The main thing that bother us is that tour A stops near the resort and one day was really crowded.

Great sunset views

The staff were very friendly and the views are amazing. Recommend having dinner on the beach, pretty spectacular. The hotel is isolated, which is great if you want a mini break. However, no power or wifi from 8am to 6pm. You can do island tours from the resort, but the prices seemed expensive given we stayed at another resort in El Nido where the tours were included in the price.

Simply Amazing Place

The place is simply amazing. The owners and staff are so nice and can't do enough for you. Highly recommend this place for people that want to get away from the crowds. Place is very private. Felt very safe because they have their own security on premises. Also make sure you do the tours they have available. They are so beautiful. I've traveled a lot and this place is my favorite. Worth every penny spent

The Perfect Honeymoon Spot - Private and Romantic

Our four nights honeymoon stay at Vellago was just perfect! Staff were very friendly and met all our needs and requests promptly. We chose the location because of its privacy and reviews online by other honeymooners, and we did see it was true! Food was delicious and our romantic dinner set up on the beach with lots of bamboo lights and candles was really beautiful. We spent our third day on a private boat tour organised by the resort and it was the highlight of our stay. The captain and crew were fantastic with knowledge of surrounding islands and beaches and they cooked this superb Filipino seafood & meat BBQ lunch with a charcoal fire on an isolated island just for the two of us! We felt we were having a royal honeymoon. We would have stayed longer if our budget allowed. Strongly recommended for honeymoon couples who want to be away from crowds and have a peaceful and private experience!

A haven of peace on a busy beach

This is a beautiful place to stay at one end of a lovely beach, with its own private waterfront and swimming area. The rooms are gorgeous, overlooking the sea with spacious balconies and plenty of thoughtful facilities.The main asset of the hotel is the staff - they are unfailingly helpful and went out of their way to make a special fuss of me on my birthday. My husband and I were treated like VIPs from start to finish. They dinners on the beach were wonderful and the food is reasonably priced and delicious. Sipping a cocktail at the beach bar while the sun went down was like being in heaven.

Luxury in the middle of nothing

No food path to El Nido! Need to go by boat (pay) and they tricycle for ten minutes Only houses for eight people but at least twenty employees Food was fine, rooms and view spectacular, not a great breakfast Expensive Felt a bit away from everything, can be both nice and annoying Best service!

Wonderful service and beautiful resort

This place is beautifully light at night. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming and available at any moment to help with whatever you need. There are massage therapists on site and Roy the host even went above and beyond to manage our pre booked island tour to request from them they pick us up directly from the resort instead of traveling 30+ minutes to the dock in town.

Amazing location, staff & views from room

Had such a great experience at Vellago. The rooms were beautiful and views from the balcony are amazing. The staff were all lovely along with the owners.

Just Perfect!

We arrived to this little piece of paradise for our honeymoon and immediately felt so relaxed. Loved every moment - the food was incredible, the room was amazing, the staff so friendly and accommodating. We were so sad to leave!

Excellent boutique hotel right on the beach!

Vellago was a wonderful place for our honeymoon. The location and ambiance was wonderfully beautiful. The staff was pleasant and responsive, helping us with whatever we needed. The food was excellent (special thanks to Chef Peter). Having breakfast in our patio overlooking the ocean made for wonderful mornings. And dinners on the beach were quite nice. The owners even helped us put together an epic day trip sea kayaking between remote islands. Would totally come back!

Amazing location and boutique size

The Vellago's location is unbelievably beautiful. A beautiful remote beach that is only accessible by boat - with a ridiculous view. We loved how all it was and how the staff would creatively make each guest's experience beautiful. It does have flaws - the shower didn't drain well, one of the girls behind the desk wasn't very competent, the food isn't amazing, and most disappointing was the dead branches on trees blocking the incredible view and sunset. BUT the manager, Gilbert went out of his way to take care of us, making special arrangements to bring us to the Matinluc Shrine area to kayak (which was the highlight of our trip). Most importantly, it's a small, eco friendly, romantic resort in paradise on one the most amazing location!

Perfect getaway from the world in beautiful El Nid

Amazing location and amazing stay! Super friendly staff and nothing is too much of an ask. I can't recommend this place enough. You have to stay! I'll be telling my friends and family and hope to visit again soon!

Det var det mest lækreste sted så idyllisk personalet var simpelthen så søde og venlig mand blev næsten behandlet som en konge man kunne knap nok gå ud af værelset før det blev rengjort igen de havde lavet det så hyggeligt om aftenen på øen og det skal man lige huske det er en Ø og sidste tilbagegang øen er klokken 18 fra el nido der kunne måske godt have været en lille kiosk det er i den dyre ende men alle pengene værd vi var et par var på en fantastisk tur som faktisk var næsten hele dagen ellers var det ren afslapning og ti stille og bare nyde hinanden og endnu en gang et stort tak til personalet var helt vidunderlig

При наличии свежей рыбы на острове, вам предложат мороженного лосося (!) и гамбургеры.

Ett fullständigt paradis. Knappt man vill berätta utan behålla själv. Super service och helt OK mat. Mycket vacker ö och öar runt om att besöka . Fyrtorn på toppen av ön där man erbjuds att tillbringa en natt och se solen gå upp. Inte högsta standard på rummen men helt ok. Enormt vänlig personal

スタッフが融通が効かなくて、せっかくの旅行は台無し。だから、もう行かない。エルニド空港から近いけど、プエルト空港から5.6時間もかかるから、当日に着かない場合がある。

El hotel es muy lindo, lo único es que no se cuenta ni con electricidad ni wifi todo el día y ofrecen en el menu platillos que no tienen. El servicio muy bueno.

Super romatisches Hotel am traumhaften Strand

Das Vellago ist ein super tolles und kleines Hotel mit vier Zimmern an einem traumhaftesten Stränden in ganz El Nido.Grandiose Sonnenuntergänge sind garantiert. Besonders toll war,dass nach Abreise der Tagesausflüge der Strand den wenigen Hotelgästen alleine gehört.Eine unglaubliche Ruhe und super zum Entspannen. Das Servicepersonal war super, Frühstück wird auf dem Balkon mit Traumausicht serviert. Highlight war das jeden Abend wechselnde Setup des Dinners am Strand. Macht weiter so liebes Vellago-Team!!

Difficile d'arriver à El Nido et encore un peu plus pour parvenir sur cette plage et donc dans ce cadre enchanteur avec le calme seulement troublé par le doux bruit des vagues (pas de bruits de tricycles la nuit, ni de coqs le matin .... pour ceux qui auront déjà parcouru les Philippines). L'équipe est attentive à exhausser vos moindre souhaits d'excursions, de massage sur votre balcon (dominant la mer), jusqu'à votre plat du diner qui n'est même pas sur la carte (à partager de façon très romantique au bord de l'eau près d'un feu de bois). Eu égard au prix les "points à améliorer" devraient l'être rapidement à commencer par une alimentation en électricité de la chambre au-delà du créneau 6 pm/6 am (à commencer par le réfrigérateur coupé donc pendant 12 heures).
