For the price not bad

Sehr praktisch da direkt am Fernbusbahnhof gelegen. Die Rezeption war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Loved Ukranian lady on front desk who was so helpful. Offered advice on sightseeing, dining etc.

Cheap and cheerful

The air con did not work at all and it was 31 degrees. The pillows were rolled up duvets.

The ceiling HS water damage, and so maintenance could be better. But it was clean and functional, beds were firm, which I like.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. I recommend this hotel to my friends

The gentleman working at the front desk went over and above to help us…very caring. Would certainly stay at this hotel again.

The location is very convenient and within walking distance from the main train station. The breakfast was good, but the room/s I was able to choose from had the lingering smell of cigarette smokers that had obviously stayed previously. Rooms were well insulated, so sleeping was not an issue.

It is a good nothing fancy hotel near the main train station

This is a basic property, but I needed a last minute room, and it served the purpose. It's very close to the main train station. The staff was very nice.

The hotel have the machines for air conditioning but thay are not working, they have a pedestal fan in the room.

Served its purpose-cheap hotel walkable to station

Hotel was ok... tiny beds and not the most confortable pillows. Served its purpose to act as a cheap gateway hotel close to the train station for our trip into europe. Breakfast was ok. The area was not the best around there but still within walking distances of the citys better areas

The property is really close to the train and some bus stations. That is good if you're ok with transitory people. There are lots of people hanging outside of the property. It felt very unsafe. Inside it could use a real dusting. The carpet needs a good cleaning.

Good pick if budget travel, building only 5 mins walk to train station , 1 min can catch flexibus , safe area , nice breakfast , quite n clean , friendly service . Only one downsides is the bed a little bit soft

Good for short stay

I only stayed for 2 nights and all I need is a descent bed, bathroom and close to the train station. I'm not really picky as long its clean. I dont mind coming back and stay here again. Safe area too

The property was well located , but Expedia charged us 70 Euro more than the price charged by the Hotel!!!!!!! This is the last time I take Expedia.

Close to main train station but overprised.

Hotel is close to the train station. The breakfast was simple, but good. We needed a band aid for a small cut. The front desk gave us a first aid kit, which was filled with all sort of first aid papers but nothing to stop, clean or treat a cut or any other small medical issue. All the lights of one of the rooms on the 6th floor were not working. The gentlemem who did the check in was friendly. The gentlemen who handled our stored luggage in the afternoon was not friendly at all. Somewhat grumpy. Hotel was too expensive.

It is clean and near the station of train.the breakfast very ba.the staff arne't friendly.

Great location, good free breakfast

The room was on the smaller side, but that was fine given that we were just there to sleep. The bathroom was very big compared to most bathrooms in European hotels. My only gripe was that housekeeping knocked over my contact lens case and lost part of it - I think it may have fallen into the trash and they threw it away. Checking in was easy and the free breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the day. Especially the day we left - we didn’t have to worry about finding food on the way to the airport.

Spent one evening here prior to taking train the following day. Excellently located for the station, the hotel was clean, rooms comfortable and excellent breakfast. Very good value.

Aged hotel. Furnitures and facilities are outdated. Small and dark rooms. No hot water during our stay. Some staffs at the front desk are not friendly. The only advantage is within walking distance to the Frankfurt Central station.

Everything is good, location is 5mins walk from the main station, breakfast is good, everywhere is clean, decoration is a bit dated. Will come back again.

Nice start to holiday!

Nice, clean room, allowed us early check in. Pleasant room, comfy beds, nice front desk. Neighborhood has a lot of construction, which makes it loud. Otherwise convenient to train, close to shops etc.

Great location, wonderful stay

Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful (eggs, sausage, breads, meats, cheeses, fruit cocktail, juice and yogurt). Easy 15 minute walk to Old Town and the grocery store is just a few streets away. Parking is underground and is 15 euro/day. The manager was very helpful and kind.

Hotel very close to alot of construction

We had three different rooms as on arrival we were given a room with three single beds in it and no room to manoeuvre. We had booked a double and were moved immediately, but the noise outside from construction woke us at 6.30 and we asked for another room and were given one immediately. The staff were helpful and breakfast was good There is a fridge in the rooms, but no kettle though there is a temperamental machine in reception at €1 a cup. For those who have not visited Frankfurt recently, it is very expensive, busy, dirty with a considerable amount of asylum seekers and rough sleepers

Like the location. Air conditioning system is not up to par, or perhaps just maybe not up to North American standards. It WAS also a heat wave, so that didn't have.

affordable, clean and close to train station

I was very happy with our stay at Minerva Hotel. Location is not the best but I rooms were very clean, staff was very friendly and rooms were spacious. Breakfast was also good :) I had a party of 7 people

I may not stay here again

They refused to provide the invoice. The room was spacious, but very old. Bathroom shower console was not working, overall staff behavior was not pleasant

Staff was very nice. They printed my train ticket for me. Ok if you just need a cheap room near the train station. Seemed clean enough, older furniture and bathroom.

The hotel was good for a quick stay in Frankfurt. It wasn't too far of a walk from the old town walk platz which had plenty of restaurants and shops. The parking was limited and tight. Wifi was a little slow at times.

Easy access to train station

We were arriving late by train and needed a place to stay for the night until we picked up our car the following day at the train station. The location was fantastic for that. It was a short walk from the train station and reception was great. The Family room was perfect and we really enjoyed the large balcony off our Room. No complaints and would definitely stay again.

The Hotel is near the central station but the area is not very nice. When I book the hotel it says that it has an air conditioning but when we got there it was not working it was hot in the room during the day, when I complained about it they said that it was broken and they gave me a fan instead. I won't stay in this hotel again.

Great hotel for the value and location.

Fine for a short stay

I was happy with my one night stay at Hotel Minerva. The room was clean and quiet. The included buffet breakfast was good. Some previous reviews have complained about marginal wifi service, but I found the service to be quite acceptable. I was a little taken aback by the high price (~ 220€) of the room, but the prices of all the hotels in the area were very high on the date of my stay.

For short stay it's good

I stayed with my family overnight and it served its purpose. The hotel is located close to Main station and has easy access to shops and local transportation. Although the instalations are a little old, the room was comfortable. Breakfast was great, they have good coffee.

Very central, good parking partly for free

As always very good stay for the low price, if you want a central hotel, with WIFI and free parking the Minerva is perfect for you. Breakfast was nice, staff is friendly, rooms are clean and tidy.

Great location

Our family of 4 stayed for 1 night. We arrived by train and departed the next day to catch a flight. We are a family of 4 and had a room to which a fold-out bed was added.

The hotel was very nice and was a good choice. staff was friendly and helpful.

Hotel Minerva and Frankfurt

I was staying overnight in Frankfurt and made some friends in the city: the hotel was me trying something new. It was clean spacious and I found it to have a decent location. However, I made sure to book a room with wifi and unfortunately I had no access to wifi in my Room even after I brought it up to them they did not have a solution. Bothersome in that aspect but it's fine overall.

We stayed for one night. The hotel is close to train station. Room is clean. There are good breakfast in the morning. But the wifi is very poor in the room. Another problem need to mention is when we checked in around 10 pm, we were told the inside parking lot need to be reserved in advance, which is not advised when we booked the hotel. Yet its settled since there is still parking places along the streets.

Breakfast was excellent. Roller bed was short for 6ft person. Really noisy area but convent to downtown and trains.

The hotel advertises as a 3 star, but plays like a 2 star. The free breakfast was the best part of the stay. Add a half a star if a location that is a short walk to the train station is important.

Pretty good train-station hotel

This hotel was good for our purposes, which was for taking excursions on the train and getting to the airport. Considering that the location is so near the main train station, it was fine.. better than some others we saw. However, if you're looking for a destination-hotel, this one probably wouldn't be the best fit. The room could have used some updates, but was basically clean and equipped. The breakfast wasn't fancy, but was decent.

Some basics missing

The Minerva Hotel was very close to the railway station which was useful. The neighbourhood was a bit rough but typical of a station zone in any big city. The room did not have a fridge and there was no facilities to make tea and coffee.

Will stay again

Not fancy but plenty comfortable and inviting. Maybe because I was coming off a trip in Barcelona at a very impressive 4 star but I left very happy. Breakfast included and was also very good. 3 minute walk from central station made this a no brainer. Priced well too. Next to nice Irish pub and another small local tavern so everything you need very close.

Location is good, but that is all, nothing else.

It situates just beside the Frankfurt Train Station. Location wise it's fantastic. But other than that, this hotel is just meet the okay level. Room quality is not good.

On the good side of the Train Station

Many reviewers have complained about other hotels near Hauptbanhof. Hotel Minerva does not have such problems. Comfortable stay, great breakfast. It took them a couple days to get the internet fixed on my floor; service varies by floor. No other complaints. I arrived by train from the airport, and left by inter-city train. Very smooth transportation hub, with easy access to Hotel Minerva outside the South exit.

Shopping in Frankfurt

Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was a very nice spread including scrambled eggs. Location was within 1/4 mile of main train station (south and a little east) and within about a 20 minute walk of the main shopping area. Met our expectations for a two night stay and would stay there again.

Comfortable to go anywhere by tram

Very comfortable from hotel to anywhere by tram no.17 just only 80 meters and only 200 meters walk to Frankfurt main station.

Didn't pay for four stars and didn't get four stars. A three star hotel lacking any charm but convenient to the train station.

The Minerva

Great location in regards to public transportation. Listed as a 4 Star hotel....I'd say 2 star at best. The staff was patient and friendly. The "free wifi in public areas" was a PC at the front desk. Very outdated television in the room.

with 2 blocks of trams, subway and train station. very vonvenient. not much of a neighborhood feel, it is more commenrcial and yet surprisingly quiet. I felt it was a good value

Good room, great location, just 100 meters from Subway station

Good and clean room. Service was good but basic. No wireless internet. location is the most valuable asset of this hotel. If you only need a clean and safe place where to sleep, this is your place.

Good value with helpful staff

This hotel was a good value considering its proximity to the main railroad station and public transportation. The staff at the reception desk were courteous and extremely helpful.

冷蔵庫がないのが不便。暖房、お湯の出もよくて環境も静かで朝食も簡素ながらも十分でした。コーヒーが美味しかったです。駅からも近くて便利。冷房は使わなかったが設備はありました

Okay für Kurztrip mit einigen Abstrichen.

Positiv: Freundliches Personal, gutes einfaches Frühdtück, preisgünstig und zentrale Lage in Nähe Hauptbahnhof. Negativ: Fleckiger Teppichboden, durchgelegenes Bett, Handtuchhalter lose, Essen vom Vorgänger im Kühlschrank, Heizung wurde nachts abgestellt (Dezember!) und Verkleidung am Türschloss fehlte.

Soveltuu lyhyeeseen yöpymiseen

Keskiverto hotella lähellä päärautatieasemaa. Sisällä huoneissa haisi tupakka ja ikkunat olivat hieman vetoisia eikä huoneissa ollut lämmitystä, pelkästään mahdollisuus ilmastointiin. Tämän vuoksi huoneet hieman koleita ja kosteita. Kylpyhuone oli hieman epäsiisti. Hotelli on toimiva lyhyen matkan majoitukseen. Aamupala keskiverto, tarjolla leipää, jugurttia, kahvia ja pientä lämmintä (munakokkelia, nakkeja jne)

Die Betten sind eine Zumutung, die sollten unbedingt ausgetauscht werden, genauso wie die Bodenbeläge.

Okej hotell

Hotellet uppfyllde mina förväntningsr till priset. Låg nära till järnvägsstationen och långfärdsbussarna såg jag från hotellfönstret. Rummet något slitet, rent och god frukost är plusset. Kunde ta en kortare promenad till floden Mein.
