Staff was very nice and helpful. The restaurant food (quality and quantity except for breakfast)and service fell short of our expectation from a five star. The servers were nice and did their best, but some basic training in etiquettes seemed missing, which maybe due to that they have to handle large wedding crowds. Overall we were very happy.

Excellent hotel, great housekeeping team and the food was amazing! Plenty of things to do as well. Only issue was the food service was very slow at times.

Nice property in udaipur. Very good dining options. Service is little off sometimes, not up to mark as an oberoi property but that is manageable. Extensive backyard with peacocks, lake view. Great swimming pool from where you can enjoy sunset.

Beautiful stay

Beautiful hotel by the lake and excellent service by staff. Kids club was a hit for my kids and spa was lovely treat. We enjoyed our time here during the holidays. Buffet has excellent choices for different tastes.

The property was truly exceptional, exceeding all expectations in every way. The staff were attentive, the food was great with many choices, and the rooms were clean, well-organized, and beautifully decorated.

We had. Wonderful time , hotel was beautiful and the rooms are well appointed. Housekeeping was attentive and kind . The coffee shop was good and the buffet was excellent . Good variety of food and quality of ingredients . Lots of on site cooking like eggs and dosa however the hotel was full and the kitchen couldn’t keep up with the demand on on site counters . After a long delay and some feedback to them .. they corrected the issue . We were pampered my Mr Suraj and his team at the Restuarant .. thank you for a amazing time .

Great property and very well maintained. Friendly staff and great buffet options. We liked how they make you seated in a dedicated place to check in. Really thoughtful.

Excellent

Staff is too formal & lacks the personal touch. We stayed at Shiv Niwas for 2 nights before coming to Trident and comparatively it was not as nice. We wanted to dine at Udaivillas and were told to book a day before. We were told it was booked out when we requested. Same for High Tea. We would have booked somewhere else if we could be told the same when we first told our intentions to dine there. Would not bother to stay there again and rather stick to Shiv Niwas for better value of money.

Great Hotel

Great location by the lake side and away from the street noise. All staff are excellent and cannot do enough for you. The hotel is easily accessible and close to good restaurants etc

Great location, awesome hospitality. Beautiful landscaping and maintainace. Loved the breakfast options, kinds fun activities, Bada Mahal and connectivity to Udai Vilas !

Amazing hotel! We stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved the place and service. Rooms were cleaned twice a day with fresh linens. Breakfast buffet was good, bar area was nice too. Complimentary mehendi and bangle making also available at the hotel. Overall, a great stay and definitely recommending to family and friends

The staff help and attentiveness was nothing short of spectacular. I needed a doctor and they got a doctor and a nurse t o my room less than 20 min. They took great care of us in the restaurant and bar too.

TRIDENT UDAIPUR IS A SERENITY AS DEFINATION…THE F&B,ALL OF THE PROPERTIES AMENITIES AND SERVICES ARE PERFECT.

We stayed here for a quick visit and found the property and the staff absolutely lovely. Amazing hospitality by the team and great family hotel. We would love to go back.

Nice stay

Very quiet, peaceful and clean hotel, staff was extremely attentive and welcoming. Love the grounds around the property, peacocks flocking all around, nice pool and gym; live folk music at night, flute at breakfast… love it overall. Especially loved their warm welcome with “tilak” when we arrived… also want to highlight that it’s very family and kid friendly place. The only thing they can improve is to provide separate pool for little children with diapers, it’s not very hygienic to see that in the same pool u r swimming in. :-)

Good location, good hotel, nice ambience and BEST STAFF!! We stayed at Trident Udaipur during end of march for 4 days, there were few hickups that were outside staff control , however they did their best to make our stay conformable and memorable. Special mention for their manager Urvi Mahajan .. she was always their for the guest .. Amazing service .. Keep it up .. Will certainly visit Trident Udaipur again to enjoy their amazing hospitality :)

Lovely hotel. Food was good. Gardens were fab. Loved the resident peacocks. Only issue was the bed was too hard for my liking. Hotel was clean and service was good.

The restaurant serves very good food, from buffet to a la carte, especially when the other high end restaurants in the area are fully booked.

Just an outstanding place - in terms of cleanliness, hospitality, location on the banks of Lake Pichola, the facilities for guests including the kids club which was a big hit with my kids who are not that little (11 and 13). The property is stunning- beautiful grounds with tons of walkways, beautiful spots to see the sunset. So quiet and the staff is so kind and professional. One of my most favorite places ever. Worth every penny.

Quiet, great gardens and facilities

A beautiful location for a beautiful hotel. Service is not as good as in other Oberoi owed hotels but I put this down to location. Unfortunately we had to use the hotel doctor, one was great the other was dreadful giving bad medical advice and trying to increase billables! Pool area and grounds are superb. Siding is a little expensive but quite good.

Memorable stay

Welcome to a gorgeous place

It’s a gorgeous location in Udaipur and both beautifully done in traditional styles, but also friendly and welcoming. A peacock calls from the expansive grounds with little seats scattered around to contemplate. The restaurant is great, but the room service is impeccably thoughtful. We want to come back and spend a whole week here!

Hospitality and food

The property is very well maintained, close to everything and offers superb service. It biggest appeal is the private boating, personalized service and great staff.

Excellent Service. Great location. Abhishek in the bar was great - very friendly and he made wonderful Mojitos. Menuka was also very helpful during check-in - even gave us a tour of the premises. The location of this hotel is excellent and the premises are beautiful.

Enjoyed it

This is undoubtedly one of the best 5-star hotels in India. It’s not just a hotel but a sight-seeing spot itself. There are large beautiful gardens surrounding the rooms, with peacocks walking around. The pool is as clean as crystal and the area around it is charming. This all combined provides a peaceful setting for an ideal vacation. This property is interconnected with Oberoi Udaivilas, which has a beautiful Lake Pichola view point and a jetty for private boat rides. The property is extremely clean and well-maintained. Staff were very kind and many services were provided before they were asked for. Trident definitely has more to offer than other sightseeing spots in Udaipur combined together, so one should make sure to spend a good amount of time exploring the full hotel itself and imbibe all the greenery and serenity it has to offer. Will definitely go back!

Great Hotel

I have stayed in hotels for thousands of nights and I would rate this property as one of the best I have stayed in.

The property is surrounded by beautiful curated lawns where parrots and peacocks hang out. The staff is exceptionally polute and the servoce is excellent.

We booked 3 rooms for an extended family vacation. with kids and grand parents . Very nice and pleasant stay . Staff was excellent and courteous , attention to detail . Took care of all our needs . Chef made lot of stuff which were not in the menu for us in the restaurant and the bartender took care of the drinks at the bar . Lots of kids activity throughout the day to keep them occupied and Kids play club kept them busy as well .

I loved the location and ambience of the property. There was significant construction / rearranging going on which gave it a "in progress" look. But otherwise, excellent location and great rooms. The staff were courteous, the food was brilliant, and the ambience pristine. One concern that I had was we were locked in for 3 days due to a situation in Udaipur that the hotel could have done nothing about. But they could have been proactive in communicating to the stayers on what the situation outside was. I had to literally ask them every day. Also, since they had guests that were forcibly "locked down", they could have done a better job with entertainment for the guests.

My elderly parents were well taken care of

I had booked vacation stay for my elderly parents. They were so well cared of. They had an extremely enjoyable stay. Extremely friendly staff and helpful. Highly recommend

Udaipur with Trident

Was there with my family. Amazing experience from check in until check out. The restaurant waiting staff, the house keeping, the reception, the entire Team of Trident was superb. A must visit

They share their area with Oberoi Udaivillas and have a very large Green Forest Area which is soothing to your eyes just behind Lake Pichola. The greenery around the property and the lightings are treat to your eyes in day & night respectively. If you love Greenery then it's an awesome place/hotel to have your stay.

Excellent property, fantastic location and views of the City Palace and other tourist sites. Very friendly and helpful staff.

improve cleanliness

The Trident staff were extremly courteous and showed great hospitality. At check-in you can train your staff to receive guests with US passport and OCI cards who will not have local mobile number but a US cell phone to check-in guests more smoothly. Other star hotels have learnt the procedures in this regard.

Trident really not 5 starr

This property cannot be considered as 5 star property as claimed. It is more of around 3 star property. Just coz its under same gate as udayvillas it gibes wrong picture..but property is not so good.

Not great and did not meet my expectations

It was a let down to be honest. Checkin process was not the best. Quality of food as well as service was also below expectation. Also be aware that this venue is used for weddings and it I was my experience that wedding guests received priority over other guests. Even if this is based on availability of staff at poolside/restaurant whilst other wedding activities are ongoing. You also need to consider this in terms of noice from celebrations that go late into the night - the hotel does not warn you nor place you in quiet rooms. The location is good.

Absolutely amazing. The trident never disappoints and this is again a benchmark setter. Super service.

Excellent stay at Trident Udaipur

We stayed at Trident Udaipur for 4 days and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel was overall clean, neat and tidy and our stay was very comfortable. All the staff members were very courteous that made our stay memorable. We highly recommend Trident Udaipur !

Awesome service

Great location Very well maintained property Exceptional Service We were given custom meals even though we were part of the package - Jeevan who served us worked very hard & took great care I had a sudden backache and was helped with hot water bottle. At the time of checkin the hotel notice a child as part of the group and offered if the child would like to eat first as it was past lunchtime. Exceptional experience
