One night in Zagreb with friends

Timeout Heritage Hotel is really nice. In a perfect location, centrally located. It has a nice bar and nightclub. Room was good, bed perfect and shower in the bathroom was excellent. There was an in room safe and fridge. My room had a balcony which was nice. Breakfast is good and standard for Zagreb. Reception staff are very kind and friendly.

On the app they said they had parking, main reason why we booked this hotel. 12 hours before arriving they sent an email saying they did not have parking. The guy in reception at check in was not friendly. The rooms have zero privacy and you can hear everything from other rooms, the curtains/blackouts aren’t the right measurements and you can see from outside through the windows

The hotel is located in between bar and club bit in the hotel you cannot hear anything. Rooms are clean and have everything needed. Parking nearby Staff are amazing Topnotch

Construction was being carried out in the Restaurant area with loud noises going on from early morning until late afternoon. Very loud hammering sounds. No hotel staff apoligised for this. My recommendation is all staff require an in depth customer service training courses. Also housekeeping need to be more quite in corridors of room areas. I could here everything outside my room. The positive feedback I will say is the location of the property.

If you like your sleep then this is NOT the place for you. I was on the third floor and the noise from their night club in the basement was loud up till 5am

The hotel exceeded expectations with its prime location and exceptional service. The attentive staff was readily available, ensuring assistance at every moment needed. The rooms were impeccably clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, creating a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. Situated ideally within easy reach of all major city attractions, the hotel made sightseeing effortless. We were treated to a plentiful breakfast selection each morning, while the rooftop bar offers a lively atmosphere and stunning views—an inviting space to unwind.

Room for Improvement! .

Hello, the hotel stunk of Cigarette Smoke , due to smoking in Restaurant, due to high ceiling and ppl using the lift , my toilet stunk of poo , probably coming through the vents/ventilation system, no locks on window, toilet wash bowl too close to shelf , you knock your forehead,

The area around Timeout was great and the overall location was perfect for a quick visit to Zagreb. The breakfast was also pretty good. But those are the only positive things we can say about this hotel. It’s rundown, noisy and no where close to a 4 star rating. To get into the dilapidated reception you have to walk through a smoke-filled dark and dingy bar. This is also where breakfast is served (vs the open-air rooftop area). No idea who gave this a 4 star rating. It is not!!

Cute

I loved it, in the center of Zagreb. Just a note: the hotel is combined with a nightclub and the rooms are very specially designed. I liked it a lot and will come back if will go again to Zagreb. It is mot about noise in the room — the sound isolation was good and I slept very well. But if you prefer an old-style comfort and quit silence in the lobby, may be think about another place to stay.

A stinky dump. Staff is exhausted and young, not particularly friendly. The whole place reeks of cigarette smoke. Linens and towels don’t feel clean. Room did not feel clean. Hairdryer and shower broken. Breakfast buffet was disgusting, confusing and covered in flies.

Although the location is excellent and the breakfast buffet quite good, this is not a hotel, let alone a four-star one. It is at best an average youth hostel. The twin room was too small and the hotel was noisy in general. That's why it's not very good value for your money.

It was awesome only thing its that have been served by really uneducated personal with absolutely zero experience in service! Foreign service with good English but experience zero knowledge in hotel restaurant hospitality!! Sad that place as that has uneducated unprofessional service

Didn't like the parking is a bit far away specially if you are traveling with older people. Other than that hotel is just perfect.

Good family stay in urban hostel feeling hotel

Good stay in the family room, hotel has a hostel feel on arrival and is well used, but room, linen etc all good. the double height bunk is very high and not suitable for younger children. (Could be made so much safer with a few more scaff poles)

Good place to stay for the party scene. This location has rooftop bar, entry bar, and there is a night club in the basement.

Awesome staff and atmosphere. Thia place is a gem in the heart of everything!

Central and new

The hotel is very central and the staff is friendly. At the same time, bear in mind that if you check in late, you'll need to go through a night club full of people in order to check in. Also, the breakfast area is not non-smoking. But overall, our short stay was quite good.

Very disappointed with that hotel

1. I was given the worst room. Very uncomfortable room, bed an pillows. The information and pictures of the room I have chosen were different than reality... Very disappointed... That kind of room don't justified the price they charge. NOT VALUE FOR MONEY. The two things positive are the friendly personnel and the breakfast that is okay and satisfactory. Also, because they have a bar at the entrance and is active all day and night, the effects of the heavy smoking of the people who assist there, the smell of smoking is very strong all around. The name of the hotel, its central location and the pictures and information in its page, make to think that would be enjoyable. Unfortunately NOT...

Not sure how the overall rating for this place is so high. Nearly impossible to sleep. The hotel is build around a night club. Cigarette smoke so thick inside it’s hard to breath. Hotel towels smelt like cigarettes too. If you stay on the first/second floor your not sleeping because of the night club. If you’re on 3rd floor (like us) you’re not sleeping because of the roof top bar. Drunk people being loud and the stairway door opening and closing all night that shakes the walls and floor.

Wonderful hotel. Staff was very nice and it was centrally located. Highly recommend!

The pictures make the place look a lot better in terms of the condition. Really strong bad smell through elevator and hotel corridors. Should be more clearly advertised the hotel is through a bar and music on till late, loud in the bedrooms. Not a place for families.

Good spot in city center

Well priced, and super central hotel. Excellent spot for exploring Zagreb, with an active bar - so it is easy so socialise. Room is simple, but simple is also very good - clean & comfortable. Wifi worked flawlessly.

Fun place to enjoy life and have a good time!

Everyday the cleaning crew was busy keeping the hotel in top shape! There are a variety of opportunities to enjoy life here: rooftop bar, welcoming bar with regular entertainment, delicious breakfasts with hot eggs and great coffee! They offer daily specials for lunch, as well as a regular menu! This hotel caters to young adults that like to enjoy life and have fun; so if you’re old and cranky; find some 5 star place to stay or just hide at home! lol

Quirky, lively hotel. Enjoyed.

Great hotel for young people or people who like it busy. There is a bar downstairs and also on the rooftop which plays music you will hear in your room. We loved it the vibe was great. If you are after a quiet night though maybe it’s not for you. Would recommend to younger people/couples. Bed was comfy and the room was clean with a great power shower.

Amazing, will definitely come back!

What an amazing hotel. Swanky, extremely well located, theres a restaurant in the first floor and an amazing patio. Breakfast was delicious, staff was very friendly. The room was very large, super moderm and very beautidul. Shower had amazing pressure and bed was super xomfortavle. 10/10 for timeout hotel.

Clean, Central, Friendly, Hip, Hotel Restaurant

Everything was excellent. Friendly, warm, and receptive staff. From the front desk to the restaurant. The location is central which was perfect because you can get anywhere in under 30 minutes. The only thing I would warn about is the noise from events that may be held. To be fair, the hotel warned me ahead of time and gave me earplugs. But, the loudness was really unbearable. I worked in nighlife for 10+ years in NYC and it felt like I was sleeping on a lounge chair in front of the DJ booth. So, if you need peace and quiet make sure to ask them ahead of time if there will be an event and to put you in a quiet room away from the sound. But, other than that everything was 5/5. All staff extremely friendly, one person stood out, Mateo. Front desk/ concierge were helpful, Matéo took time to describe sites to see and was instrumental with guidance on booking bus ticket to trip to Split. Room was clean and very comfortable. Central located to historic area with plenty of food and drink nearby. The hotel itself has a bar/ restaurant. Didn’t have a chance to use as I ate while I was site-seeing.

Smokey but okay

Trevligt hotell med helt okej (stort) rum. Bra säng och bra frukost. Dock, VÄLDIGT sen frukost, inte tillgänglig före 8.00 Samt rökning tillåten inomhus, röklukt i alla utrymmen. Och väldigt lyhört.
