Very nice. Scenic views are awesome.
Good Views and easy to get around. Always nice when you can open a window.
Great experience
Loved the hotel ambiance and service. In room bar a bit pricy for my liking but overall great experience. Love the rainfall shower head and balcony.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Excellent
Great experience & atmosphere.
great
Good
Friendly staff. Quiet room
Great location and room. Comfortable bed. But my room was freezing when I checked in and it seemed slow to warm up throughout my stay. And seemed like thermostat temp didn’t match actual room temp. It was particularly cold in NY during my stay and room felt a bit drafty so perhaps why it was hard to keep warm. The hotel did give me an extra blanket which helped.
beautiful rooms, loved the bar and restaurant.
Convenient location. Staff was great. Got good pricing.
The room and view was wonderful
Top notch customer service and facility and location
.
Loved the Arlo Hotel Staff and the Property itself.
It was ok for the short stay.
tv didnt work and no hot water in the shower. at checkout told them. reply was oh sorry. waste of money
I still haven’t received my deposit
Alot of things are near by
Amazing decor, fabulous service, perfect location
Small rooms. Construction by entrance. Ok for a couple nights.
Was very nice will be going back
The hotel was undergoing renovations but the staff made it very pleasant to navigate the areas. The room was fantastic, although a but tight for two people. Now, the view of the NYC skyline from the balcony was spectacular. Very clean and close to restaurants and shops.
The hotel provided everything needed for convenience, the area had great views & was very attentive to detail
.
Very friendly and helpful staff!
Chose the Arlo Williamsburg location for my birthday weekend and I’ve stayed at multiple Arlo locations and unfortunately this was not the best. The cons include: ongoing construction in the lobby area, the room small and had no exhaust fan. The room’s temperature was very inconsistent to the thermostat. It was extremely warm in the room for the two nights we stayed there. The bed was also not the most comfortable. The only pros were the staff were welcoming and it was easy to check in. For the price, I would not recommend staying here.
Very comfortable stay in Williamsburg
Very comfortable bed and spacious room. The only negative is hotel lobby and entrance to restaurant are under construction. Hopefully this improves the experience. Other than that, the hotel is great.
It was great overall..
Great place- stylish, solid F&B options, nice staff. Upgraded our room without requesting it. Will def be back!
Tub water temperature not consistent and water splashes everywhere. Couldn’t shower
Excellent!
Very clean
Great style and decor but not super functional
My stay was just okay and at times, uncomfortable. There is construction happening inside the hotel so there’s a lot of noise during the day time when eating meals or trying to work in the shared space. My room was freezing cold when I arrived but it eventually warmed up. I needed to get some work done and went down stairs to work and eat breakfast but it was freezing cold and no heat was blowing so I went back to my room. But, there’s no work space in the room so I just worked from the bed, which is uncomfortable after a while. There’s very little space for toiletries around the sink. The space is beautiful lily designed but not especially functional. Perhaps it’ll be better when it’s warmer outside and the construction is done. The location is nice and walkable, which is a plus.
Nice and clean
Great hotel, but the room photo was not accurate
Love this hotel, and have stayed here previously. This time, however, the room was different (and smaller) than pictured on Hotels.com so I was a little disappointed. It worked out fine, but I would have picked a different room had I realized. I think Hotels.com needs to check the accuracy of their photos as this was a totally different room than the one shown.
LOVED staying here! Get a room with a view of the city. WOW! We will be back.
Cool clean hotel-great location-excellent staff. I would definitely recommend and stay there again.
Excellent check in, amazing city view
Overall a bit disappointed with our stay. The building is lovely except the Water Tower that does have lovely views but with only four tables to sit down there is never space to stay for a drink. Service overall was below par. Our shower door did not seal properly and so the bathroom flooded everyday but they did nothing to fix it. Also the safe had an intermittent problem where it would not open but again they did not want to resolve the problem. Finally despite our specifically asking the hotel they were evasive in saying that on new year's eve there are no public spaces open due to a private party.
Nice, but luxury is a stretch.
This was our first time at the Arlo having stayed in a number of other local hotels. We opted for a room with a balcony and our first room was fine, but not what we expected. The challenges came in the form of the fact it clearly was a very nice hotel but it’s been ridden hard and put away wet. Check in was unremarkable but never got a text that our room was ready. The Our entry door had no security latch as it had been ripped out. Our patio door didn’t lock and you could feel the air coming in. The shower door had lost the seal so the tile floor got soaked any time we showered. But the worst part was waking up to a room at 57 degrees because our heater failed. We were promptly moved rooms, into the same type of room, but it still left something to be desired. It’s a great area in which to stay but for the relative price premium the Arlo just is not worth it. Would’ve preferred a different option in the neighborhood and will do so the next time we’re back.
Staff was nice the room is clean and very nice
Staff was very helpful
It’s a great place
Great place but was a bit noisy on the street we were facing at night so had a bit of trouble sleeping.
Recovery
I came to the hotel to recover from surgery. It was peaceful, the staff were helpful and the room service was perfect.
Very nice hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. The lobby bar and restaurant were a bit chilly while we were there which didn’t make us want to use them regularly and the ‘Urban Fee’ is ridiculous. Either you offer a gym or not and not everyone on holiday wants to use the gym or bicycles. There is a $15 credit each day to use in the restaurant included in this ‘Urban Fee’ but you can’t use it for Breakfast. WiFi, water and in room espresso are also part of this Fee but I think all of these things come included in other hotel bookings and if you don’t use them you don’t miss out but we used hardly any of these things and were charged each day regardless. It’s a shame as everything else about our experience there was great.
This property is pretty average. I think for the amount of money that was spent it was not really worth it. It’s not the worst hotel ever but I would much rather stay at the arlo in midtown or another 4 star hotel in Brooklyn.
It was great
Nice Vibes
ok
Not worth it
It was not worth the cost; the walls were thin so that I could hear sounds from the hallway and the other rooms around me. It looks nice, but the bed was pretty uncomfortable, and the wood floors gave me a splinter (they were chipping). The one redeeming quality is that the staff is excellent.
Highly recommend for traveler
Good for couple traveling. The room size little bit small but, the place of hotel was the best.
The staff was friendly. Enjoy the restaurant and the breakfast is priced decent.
I had a fantastic stay at Arlo Williamsburg. The staff were friendly and attentive, the room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were excellent. The attention to detail and overall experience exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend this hotel!
Hotel design was gorgeous. Restaurant and rooftop bar was very nice service was great and the hotel smelled amazing .
Small hip and nice hotel near the main drag, Bedford ave. Was able to check in early on Sunday afternoon.
Property is fine but the rooms are really so small. Someone was smoking outside on the balcony and I could smell it. It honestly felt like a hostel, very bare bones, horrible overhead lighting. Did not like it at all.
Beautiful view of Manhattan
words
Aesop (elevator control) and Axel (bartender) extremely professional and friendly! These are the types of employees hotels should strive for! Also doormen and coffee barista Sunday am!!
Great night stay
Great staff and vibes, bed not great
Everything was great except the bed. It didn’t match the 4 star rating for the hotel - which is a pretty important part of the stay!
Everything was perfect Everybody was so nice
Great room and view. Hotel charged me for a water bottle that was not taken or touched and never refunded me so that was the only negative thing.
Loved our stay would definitely come back
Horrible customer service. Room service hours delayed. Room had broken phone, curtains
Excellent
Love everything about this property and the excellent staff and service. Location is perfect too. Plan to visit again!
Great Location
Very noisy on weekends. Had to downgrade to a queen room so not to be close to street noise. Hotel said only first half of all floors had king rooms. We were up till 3am from noise between their watertower bar and street.
Service was slow at restaurant and bar and rooms were very small for the price.
Great views. Excellent bar setting and bartenders. Comfortable room. Would absolutely stay again.
Loved my stay at the Arlo! The rooms were great for solo travelers. The pool area was nice as well. The only complaint I have is that the restaurant service was slow even on a quiet night. The food was good, just very slow service.
Great weekend hotel in Brooklyn
Comfortable spot in a great location. We stayed here three times, it’s always good for a weekend trip.
Overpriced and unable to enjoy much of the property due to 3 weddings in 2 days. Very crowded and noisy…except in my room which was well insulated and quiet. They truly did all they could to make it a pleasant stay but I was unable to linger there because of the amount of wedding guests which also made it slow to get elevators (stairs became my option) …. Obviously a good venue for weddings and parties!! This isn’t a complaint just not what I’d hoped my stay would be…..
The hotel is not being kept well,
Noise from roof top club was too much
room 829 Arlo Williamsburg----1200$ per night plus taxes etc. I booked this hotel because of the view of Manhattan and it's bathtub. I was NOT disappointed at all Lovely. But here comes the complains 1. In the middle of the view of the skyline of Manhattan the window had a MAJOR CRACK from the top going down the middle and ending at the bottom.I informed the desk person who showed me the room and he reply was "I will inform management--it spoiled sitting on the only couch looking at Manhattan-but the Tub view was unobstructed and Breathtaking 2. Calling room service at 11:03 pm was informed that they were closed at 11pm---but i could call uber eats for delivery but I WOULD have to come down from the room noone offered to bring it up from the desk--Yes I'm aware that the hotel works with Sungold for it's food and drinks but was not informed at checkin that it closes at 11pm or it's managed by a different company-----But the next morning they were very fast delivery my breakfast 3. No toiletries at all in the bathroom--No Q-Tips ETC ETC 4. No slippers except for 14$ Crocks in the closet 5.There wasn't a clock next to the bed I had to turn on my phone or the tv in the middle of the night 6.I live in Hawaii so swimming in your pool is what makes my life joyfull and having a bar there even more. but having to be told that making a bloody mary was not possible because they didn't have the MIX i could go to the lobby bar- HAVE YOUR VENDORS CO0RDINATE BETWEEN EACH OTHER-
Willyburg Charm
A+, my regular spot!
Front desk employee seem to look forward to disrespecting me
Lovely short stay
Great staff at the front desk super helpful and kind. Room was a bit small but that’s to be expected in Bk. Nice balcony and great restaurant !
The rooftop pool and views were beautiful. But unfortunately my experience was marred by several issues that I feel warrant your attention: Unprofessional Bar Service: The behavior of the bartender was exceptionally disappointing. Despite tipping generously throughout the evening, the bartender reacted rudely when we chose not to leave a tip for our last three beers. He threatened to withhold the beers unless we provided a tip, which we did to avoid further conflict. In response, he threw one of the beers on the counter. This incident was not only unprofessional but also incredibly distressing. Regrettably, I did not catch his name. Malfunctioning Air Conditioning: The air conditioning in our room was not functioning properly. Despite cooler outdoor temperatures, our room remained uncomfortably warm at 76°F throughout our stay. This made the room less than ideal for relaxation. Faulty Bathroom Door: The bathroom door in our room did not close properly and eventually fell off its hinges. This created significant inconvenience and privacy issues. Disappointing View: Given that we paid $600 for our stay, we were expecting a more appealing view. Instead, we were faced with a view of a dumpster, which was far from the relaxing experience we anticipated. Stuck Shade Curtains: The inside shade curtains in our room were stuck at the top and could not be lowered, further affecting our comfort and the room’s ambiance.
Don’t stay here if you want to sleep! The noise outside was intense from the nightclub next door, the food trucks, another event space opposite, the hotel rooftop bar and heaving crowds literally outside the hotel entrance ,which continued until 2.30 am. there is no noise insulation on the windows unfortunately ! Rooms are very small but this is common in Brooklyn. Unless you request it your room only gets cleaned every three days so no clean towels, we also had a leaky shower. Saving grace was very nice and helpful staff and after complaining every day, the manager comped the $35 a day resort fee and a breakfast.
I don't imagine I will be staying at the Arlo in the future. First, on a busy Labor Day weekend holiday, only one elevator was in service for much of the time. We had to use the stairs to go up and down from our 8th-floor room several times. Lots of people were complaining about the same thing. The staff shared their frustration and spent the weekend using the stairs. Second, the rooms are difficult to navigate. There is very little room in the bathroom, shower, and toilet, which is uncomfortable. The toilet doors are extremely loud and cover the light switchplates, so you have to move them constantly. You can't shut the toilet doors without making a lot of noise.
Arlo Williamsburg was a nice stay - very hip fun vibrant area. The hotel has a fun rooftop with an amazing view of the city nice restaurant to grab breakfast. Our room although was unexpectedly extremely small & there was no full length mirror in the room which made it hard for getting dressed. Overall great experience great staff & the location is great!
Hotel in great location. Enjoyed the small but fully functional gym, rooftop pool nice. View from balcony shower nyc skyline. Elevators very slow and room tiny. Nowhere to unpack bag.
Horrible stay and horrible treatment by staff. The smoke detector is located next to the shower so you cannot take a hot shower without setting off the alarm due to steam from hot water. Poor and hazardous design. Same with the balcony. The balcony door locked me ou of the room and prisoner on the balcony. Had to wait for someone to appear on another balcony and had to scream for help. Also, they don’t provide fresh towels everyday despite it being 95 degrees outside and need of showers. Safety hazard and unfortunately unprofessional response and cleanliness
it was amazing
Great staff li k. Well done Tis !!! Breakfast supervisor just stood at the computer all the time while food went cold Pools lovely Room lovely Views amazing
Beautiful property
The hotel and pool were beautiful. My only complaint was the bed was like sleeping on a rock. They were so hard it was hard to sleep.
Lovely and welcoming
Arlo Williamsburg is my new favorite relaxation spot. I stayed there for my birthday in the Queen Room with balcony. It’s simple and comfortable. The TV has your name on the screen making a personable touch. The bathroom is nice I love the colors. The bed is comfortable. The rooms comes w a fridge which was convenient. You sometimes have to ask for fridges. The balcony is very spacious w two chairs and a small table. Overall 10/10 I will be back
Very low lovely, only concern with the room or service was the seal on the showers edge leaked and would leak past on of the outlets in our room, we just avoided that outlet and had a lovely stay. All of the staff were attentive and kind.
Great hotel! Will come back!
This was very cute with a nice view of the city from the balcony and rooftop pool. The bar and club was a nice touch.
It was a great stay. I recommend you stay there.
