Absolutely loved this property. Stayed with my family of 4 in a 2 bed 2 bath and it was fabulous. The pools were great for families. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. We would stay here again!

The property was clean and well maintained. This property is advertised as a resort which it is not. It is much more like the experience of renting a condo,, no limited cleaning services etc., which is fine just not what was advertised. We had stayed here before and they have really cut back on the service. Was disappointed.

Excellent family friendly property with lots of activities for kids. Pools close at 9pm and not much open after but very nice, clean property with professional and friendly staff.

This is a great Family holiday location. Highly recommend! The split bedrooms, three TV's, kitchen, living area and outdoor patio was the perfect accomodation for a family holiday. The entire family especially the Kids loved the interactive splash pad and water slid. Added bonus was access to the Marriotte sister hotel next door super cool kids splash pad pirate ship and facilities. Highly recommend for family holidays.

Great family friendly place. About 40 mins from the airport but the location is not bad. Supermarkets are close by for those who like to cook. Restaurants are also near by for those who don’t. Some destination spots are close by. The suite itself is nice and has everything we needed for a family of 6.

This was our first time in Maui. The location and property were great. We liked that there was a swimmable beach, which is not automatic at all Maui properties. I would recommend snorkeling right in front of the resort, as it was as good as the charter we went on. Would definitely stay here if we return. Close to many food and shopping options. We didn’t use it, but there is a shuttle that takes you to Whaler Village.

Staff were not friendly. We are Marriott Bonvoy elite members and this is by far the worst property we have stayed at staff wise. Our 2 year old daughter was sick and the staff could not have cared less, real lack of empathy and concern. Front desk staff were notable bad. The culture is definably off here. Would not return.

This was a great property I stayed at. I loved everything about it. There was lots of food. Lots of great service. The rooms were very clean. I would say that they are not very clear on smoking policies as one paper said we were allowed to smoke in a certain area and the other said we didn’t.

Nice location pool area good for kids not suitable for swimming laps. But you could walk over to sister resort to use their pools.

Our family had a wonderful visit and will be back again!! The staff was wonderful, beach beautiful (snorkeling and swimming), turtles and whales were seen daily! The villas were perfect for eating breakfast/lunch in or at the pool. It checked all my boxes and would highly recommend staying here! Not too big and not too small!!

Next time I prefer to be on upper level and not first floor

Just stayed 5 nights here. The property seemed newer and the rooms were spacious, clean, and beautiful. We loved that the rooms had a washer a dryer, and had everything you needed, like a small apartment. We loved the pool area, and the food was very good. The only thing we didn’t like was the loud noises we would hear early morning like doors slamming and people walking above us, but I suppose this is something you hear at most hotels.

Stayed in a 3 bedroom oceanfront room with full kitchen, amazing views and room amenities. Quite, family oriented close to market don’t really have to leave the property.

Employees were far less helpful and just didn’t care. The hotel is awesome but employees not so much. Lack of caring was across the board, so it must be the management.

All the staff here are super welcoming! Rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. The heavy doors made it nice and quiet for sleeping, my 3 kids slept the entire night! And that bathtub! Will be returning soon.

This hotel is ok ! The pool and the beach are the only good thing. Everything else is very disappointing!!!!! The staff at the front desk was very rude . Never coming back .

A beautiful place to stay. Close proximity to the beach, good pools, 2 hot tubs and play area for kids. The chairs do get booked pretty early, but we always managed to find a spot. Overall the resort is stunning and the nicest Westin resort. The overall vibe is very chilled and helped for a very relaxing break. We loved our stay here.

Great for families

The property was gorgeous and the rooms huge and clean. Limited dining options but we didn't mind eating at the same place often because it was delicious and having a Big Wave shaved ice on property was a huge hit with kids. Main pool was pretty crowded, not sure if its because it was the Christmas holiday or its always like this. Could not get chairs unless you went early in the morning. Biggest complaint was it cost $100 per day for an umbrella and two chairs on the beach. This seems ridiculous when you are paying over a thousand dollars a night for your stay. So we just sat on the beach but i have never been to a resort that does this. In Wailea many of the hotels have accomodations for guests on the beach.

Westin Nanea was Anazing!

Beautiful property in a great location. Our family could not have been happier with the property. Close to everything you need, but still has that secluded resort feel. 10/10

Disappointing

We had high hopes considering the cost of this hotel but we were disappointed. The rooms are large with a separate kitchen and living room area however it smelled very strongly of chemicals. It was very loud and it was not very clean.

The service was terrible. The property was beautiful!

Beautiful facility in gorgeous location. A bit more windy than their location a bit south at Westin Resort and Spa. The two bedroom with reasonable appointed kitchen was very nice and ample for our family of 6.

Beautiful property! We were in a 2 bedroom villa and it was perfect for our family. Very friendly staff. Property was clean.

The villa was spotless, not an easy task especially during pandemic due to fewer people employed and increased required protocols!

Had a wonderful time at this property

It was wonderful area! But we arrived 2:30 pm. Almost 2 hours wait for check in service…. They said check in at 4 pm. It’s not late….. feel very bad….

Air was a nice hotel in a nice location but we were so disappointed for the service. The housekeeping was weekly for a 1200 dollar a night it was outrageous. The restaurant for breakfast was a joke, you have to stand in a line to order your food and still pay the maximum. Very disappointing we ate only the first day at the hotel and went to Dukes for the rest of the week dinning.

Limited dining options. The breakfast place had to togo theme. The cost of the items remained the same but it came in plastic boxes. The valet for retrieving the car is always an eternal wait. During the checkout, had to wait 25 mins for my car to be retrieved. They retrieved the car for the incorrect last name. I was getting tense as the departing flight timing was getting close.

Somehow hotels.com put the wrong name on my reservation. Was a hassle to check in. This property staff couldn’t explain where our room was. The numbering was insufficient on buildings to locate room without a map.

The hotel is beautiful, very comfortable and great location. Had a wonderful time and stay!

The room was clean, people not the friendliest unfortunately and we are a very low maintenance family. Just even trying to get a drink at the pool bar I felt like I was unwelcomed. the pool had paper napkins floating in it like tissue paper. We ended up never using the pool and using the beach in front. they charge for everything!

It was a great experience. Our suite had everything to accommodate my family, and more! We had an excellent time!

Had to drive to Safeway to buy water as the hotel had no bottled water for sale. Two bottles of water should be complimentary since hotel does not provide or sell water. Very easy to provide a compliment bottle of water to guests when there is no other option except tap water at bar. Wait is long at bar.

This hotel was one of the nicest properties we (as a family of 5) had ever stayed at. Size of our suite was fantastic for 3 sons in their early 20s. Plenty of things to do on the property with a wonderful location adjacent to the beach.

Beautiful room and grounds and right on the beach.

Rooms were very spacious with great amenities inside the room (laundry, kitchen, etc.) and a beautiful resort. No housekeeping available for the week due to covid, but you could pay to get cleaning done—so is the policy really covid related, or a way to cut costs?? Disappointed in the dining options and felt that was another cost cutting measure rather than for social distancing measures. Stood in a long line of people for 20 min to order breakfast from one person taking orders for the whole restaurant—how is a large group of people congregating together for a long period a proper social distancing measure?

Lovely resort. Only complaint is the mask enforcement is over the top. Outside in the sunshine, with breezes blowing and socially distanced while sipping a drink, they insist on a mask. This is after rigorous testing/vaccine/etc...

Due to the pandemic there is limited amenities. There is no housekeeping BFF, no on site market or coffee that is open, pool side drinks hard to come by because staff is very standoffish. Overall for the nightly rate I would not Recommend at this time hoping for better days for Nanea!

Nice getaway vacation :)

Beautiful vacation stay at Westin Ocean Villas. I booked 4 days and 3 nights in a 2 bedroom villa with my family and it was amazing :) The beachfront is nice with fine sand and not too rocky compared to the other beachfront hotels nearby. I just wish they put 2 queen bed in a room instead of king beds.

This was our second stay at the resort and we had a fantastic time, as we did for our first stay. The room was spacious, had a kitchen and we lucked out with a fantastic view of the ocean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool, both the larger and the kids' pool was great for when we weren't going on adventures around the island. The staff at the restaurant, which we regularly went to for breakfast were very friendly and accommodating without being overly so (weren't pushy and didn't constantly interrupt). Plus the food was great. Hopefully we'll be able to make it back again next year.

Our room was filthy. Found chips and M&M's in sofa bed and under couch, carpets dirty and sandy, shower stall dirty, door handles and doors dirty. Cleaning staff very unfriendly and some scary , mean looking

Facility is very clean and is as advertised. Staff was very helpful. The hotel was very big-the walk from the lobby to our room was kinda far.

This vacation was magical. The resort was so gorgeous and clean and perfect! The staff was also amazing! I would go back and stay there in a heartbeat!!

Room and pool exceeded my expectations. Alcohol wasn’t premium and should be considering the price of the room and the drinks. Also on fridays the restaurant was buffet only; menu not available. Otherwise wonderful hotel!!

Lovely resort great for families

Everything was perfect, only recommendation is better food and more food selection.

We just finished staying there for 6 nights. Everything was amazing. We would come back again and again. -The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. -Parking was easy and convenient -The property was clean and beautiful -The beach access as wonderful with plenty of beach towels and chairs provided -The rooms were spacious and clean -The views were breathtaking I highly recommend this property to anyone. There is no resort fee but plenty to do there and you have access to the nearby Westin properties. Parking was only $15 for self park or $20 for valet. We opted for valet and it was totally worth it - bags to your room and car at the door waiting for you. 10/10.

Perfect location with beautiful grounds and professional staffs. We loved outdoor grilling. Everyday we watched whales from pools.

Lovely and comfortable

Very easy to rent through VRBO for a truly Westin experience. Everything was top notch: clean, stylish, cozy, convenient and comfortable. Access to beach and poolside was great. Super friendly staff. Only drawbacks were very poor wi-fi and view of the parking garage. But if you are poolside all day, who cares? Would definitely return.

The whole property is very new and everything is in great condition. The rooms are spacious and the pictures actually are an accurate representation. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with one other family and had exactly the space we needed. Beach access was easy, except for wheelchair access that had to meander through the pool across the property to get to it. Only two things stood out as being less than idea. First, housekeeping service was a bit inconsistent. If I didn't specifically request it we wouldn't get it. Sometimes when we did request service something would be forgotten like taking out the trash. Second, dining options on the property is limited. You'll find a lot of people at the pool bar for dinner. This isn't so bad as you can easily walk down the boardwalk to other nearby properties with other dining options but its probably important to plan a head a little bit. Overall these are small downsides and I will definitely return to this property.

The property was located close to the downtown district of Maui. Good sized two bedroom apartment. Variety of restaurant is limited given the scale of the resort.

Our 2nd time staying here and we love the amenities and convenience. My only recommendation is that the pool and kiddie beach water could be a bit warmer.

Fabulous Westin Nanea

Favorite place to stay on Maui. Large rooms, comfortable beds, kitchens, great service and fun pools for the family.

Nice, modern and clean hotel. Really liked the pools for the kids. The amenities in the room were ok, some were a bit outdated and cheap looking for a 4-star hotel. The staff was ok. It was odd that we had to specifically go after checking in the concierge for "towel cards" and we got instead some sales pitches for booking activities, becoming members, etc. but we DIDN'T get the so-called towel cards and had to find out ourselves on the next day when we attempted using the pool facilities. On the last day we were also called to the concierge for a "departure gift" but all we received was another sales pitch for booking our next vacation. A little annoying. What we didn't like is the location of our room. It was right next to the highway and super loud when we open the window. There is a patio but I didn't see a single family sitting at their patios and I guess it is because of the noise. I'm sure there are nicer rooms on the other side of the property but we didn't ask to be moved as it's a hassle with the kids. I don't think I'd come back to this hotel.

Amazing boutique hotel with everything you need and if you dont have it, its provided right away. 5 Star location and staff and hotel.

Overall, we had an AMAZING time! But it started off a bit rocky. The resort itself is kind of a maze and even with a map it's not all that easy to find the assigned units. While walking with my hands completely full, I asked the concierge for directions. Instead of simply providing directions, she began to go into all of the "welcome packet" and then tried to get me to sign up for their special presentation to become an owner. I really didn't like that at all as the timing was so inappropriate. Upon arriving to our villa, in the guest bathroom, there was dried urine on the seat. To be fair - it seemed like the guest bathroom hadn't been used in ages (it was dusty, etc) but nonetheless it was alarming. We called the front desk immediately and let them know but it took housekeeping a while to come up. Needless to say after the first few hours, I was not impressed. But after housekeeping cleaned up the bathroom and we walked around the resort, I fell in love with it. It is really a lovely resort; it has everything you could possibly want or need. The master bathroom is huge - it's literally the size of some bedrooms. The shower and bath tub are dreamy and the bed is so amazingly comfortable. We loved it so much we extended our stay three days. So despite it starting off really rocky, it ended on a high note. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful resort that was very family oriented. The staff were kind enough to put us near my son and his family.The rooms were large and spacious with a beautiful view of the koi pond.

It was nice to have barbecues available to cook your meal. The pools were overrun by kids, and thereis no adult only pool. No clear direction as to what beach amenities were available for free, or if there is a fee for rental.

Great resort in good location. Would recommend for families

Second time staying at this property. It is newer and in a great location but pretty crowded this time. It was impossible to find a chair by the pool and service was slow. Food is really the issue. There was no good food on the property outside of bar food at the pool which was decent. The restaurant is expensive but the food is not good. It was also really loud this time.

Amazing

Everything about our stay met beyond our expectations. Beach access was really easy and the beaches that were walking distance from the resort were perfect for family fun. Staff was helpful with any questions we had. If we needed anything for our rooms staff was very quick to let our needs. The hot tubs are open around the clock for some nice evening relaxation. We will definitely be coming back again.

The rooms were beautiful and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The staff was exceptionally friendly. There were no resort or towel fees. Plenty of easy parking. Fitness room was outstanding and classes were also offered. Numerous concierges to help with setting up excursions or ideas for free day trips. There weren't enough chairs by the main large pool but plenty of additional seating by the two plunge pools on the sides. Will definitely return to this property!
