Quality standards have dropped… room facilities were not working properly… kettle, bath tub drainage, curtains were not cleaned. It was showing off that property is not maintained properly. Room services were delayed by 45 mins and towels were not replaced even post mentioning.

Property is nicely located in a convenient area close to many technology companies in the area.

Old beaten up building. $250 a night, have had much better experience and options.

So we have been traveling for almost one month and stayed repeatedly in marriot properties. Tried the westin gurgaon, amazing stay and service thereafter stayed in JW marriot Chandigarh amazing stay and service again. And then lastly Westin Hyderabad mindspace, service here was okay ONE THING I WANT TO HIGHLIGHT OVER HERE IS we are from US and have tried the wine BAD BOY a bunch of times and it costs around $30-40 at the max. The property at hyderabad charged us 20k per bottle which comes to $245 per bottle. I understand as a property you have taxes and stuff but charging like 6.5times more than the original cost and not having the price of bottle listed anywhere was huge disappointment. I have spent almost 20lakhs in last month on marriot properties but because of this experience might not come again. Thanks

Great hotel

The hotel held my room from the night before when I arrived at 5:30am. The staff were professional and always helpful, from check-in to concierge, to chauffeurs, to restaurant wait staff. They gave me a 3pm check-out at no charge. Room was immaculate, spacious, and felt new.

Nice and clean

I was absolutely overwhelmed by the quality of service at Westin. Nothing was too much trouble for the front desk and concierges who were attentive and proactive. Coupled with a great room and breakfast you couldn't ask for anything more. 5 stars*****

Great breakfast buffet!! - Their Italian food is edible, but nothing to write home about. - Their "loaded Nachos" was a miserable joke! - A multitude of options for Indian food, both North and South Indian, plus good food!! - Their bar is open till 3 AM, with a 24-hour room service - a major plus!

Excellent business hotel in the IT dominated Hitech City part of Hyderabad. Fantastic staff at front desk especially Arpit and Narinder. Fantastic waiters like Gaurav and Poona. Awesome house keeping and room service person (forgot their names)), and definitely get a massage from Dinh (spelling?). It’s awesome. Location Is excellent to get to the nice, cool parts of town. Excellent breakfast. Many restaurants to choose from for other meals. Beautiful surroundings. But really, excellent staff very, very eager to provide top notch service. Use their car service to go sight seeing. Definitely worth it. Beautiful modern rooms. Did I remember to say “excellent service”?

Marriot hotels are struggling, especially /w Food

Check-in was smooth and fast. Rooms are clean and comfortable. And that’s it. Food ordered via in room dinning was very disappointing. Also had dinner at Casbah restaurant, horrible food. Large non veg platter … all items were bad and the humus + pita was unbelievably bad! At the check out no one bothered to even ask how the stay was. Just collected the money and moved on. When I did provide feedback I was sheepishly offered a packed breakfast as compensation for ₹10k charger for the bad food they served. I chose to just walk away and will take my business else where. I feel Marriot is struggling as a brand… this is twice in a row on marriot properties in Hyderabad. My earlier stay at Sheraton Hyderbad was worse than this… so maybe it’s improving but still not good enough.

It was good couple years back but surely not close to 5 star hotel anymore with dirty pillows, linen, bed and the room itself seems so old with creaking wood floor. Chefs and waiters touch food with bare hands .. omg..Will not recommend or stay there again.

A beautiful hotel in a great Location

It's a fabulous place to stay. The food is delicious with luxurious rooms and the property is incomparable. Good hospitality, we were warmly welcomed by Priya she is very friendly, cooperative and courteous. Will surely come back again.

Amazing Hotel

I have been with Westin in the past for business. For the first time with family. This is an incredible hotel. Amazing services and hospitality. The rooms are perfect and the food choices are mind blowing

Great stay management and front desk staff were great,

Ok if you can’t go elsewhere.

The couch and seating in the hotel room were filthy. The spa had nice amenities but the condition was not great. In general this hotel is threadbare. The service overall was a disaster. The front desk locked my Corp card by running it has debit and trying to bypass the pin. Room service mess ups, gross cuticle clippers in the spa, and creepy staff, and an overall logistical mess made this a subpar stay. The lady at the bonvey desk was particularly prickly. She would do the bare minimum and insist it was my fault. Later it was always shown to be her misdoing. I don’t recommend this hotel, but it could be worse.

Excellent service

Clean and comfortable. Excellent service from all staff - Harish, Suraj, Jindo and Divya to name a few. All willing to go out of their way to assist and make you feel comfortable. Good variety at breakfast. Only negative is that the furniture looked a bit worn out.

The highlight of my trip!

The staff at the Westin could not have been more helpful and accommodating. I was only in Hyderabad for 1.5 days for work, and the Westin's delicious restaurants and supportive staff turned what could have been a stressful few days into a nice stay. I highly recommend the restaurants, and that guests take advantage of the business lounge and airport transport services. Everything ran smoothly and was delivered with a nice personal touch. If only all business trips could be so nice!

Wonderful Hotel!

A great oasis for a stay in the city. Especially wonderful is Vijay (Chef at the Italian restaurant) and his impeccably prepared, authentic Italian dishes, and Sumi - one of the restaurant’s great wait staff!

Worst customer service

They took security deposit of 260$ and it’s been more than 2 weeks and they didn’t event initiated the refund. I tried calling them about 10 times and no one answers the phone, sent them few emails and no reply.

Good place, a little old but clean. Food options are ok, 3 restaurants, a little on the expensive side for India but it is what you would expect in a 5 star hotel

Staff were very accommodating and attentive to your needs. All the way from the bellmen, front desk and dinning staff. Great location to the city.

Great hotel! Staff couldn’t of been better!! Any issues were fixed straight away. Room was so spacious and very comfy. I can’t explain how nice the hotel was. The driver was at the airport when we come out which a lot of hotels in india give you excuses for why that are not there, but Westin were there and very professional. Hotel room service was very nice and tasted great!!

Arriving at 3am I was apparently up-charged on something I thought was described as a no cost upgrade. On checkout it turned out it wasn't; this was a frustrating situation. The room twice had an issue with water leaking from the ceiling. In-room staff was very good.

Great service and comfortable stay!

The service was amazing! The Housekeeping Manager addressed a concern about the minibar personally and checked on me during my 5 night stay. The desk manager also arranged for me to go to a drug store, to get medicine for a brief illness. They were so helpful!

Nice Hotel. I really enjoy the buffet breakfast and is one of the prime reasons I stayed again at the hotel. Chef Rajeev took special care of me while I was there arranging a Mong Dal Ka halwa I missed on one day as well fresh cut Mangoes. The staff at the restaurant is excellent

A wonderful experience at Westin!

Online customer service is pretty terrible. Took a few days to respond to a single email. After they finally returned an email, I requested to book early check-in and a shuttle from the airport. A few days later my team landed in HYD and there was no shuttle and when they got to the hotel no confirmation of early checkin.

Hotel in renovation with poor new management

- Entire floor we stayed is in renovation (in addition to other floors). Never informed on Expedia website or during or after booking. - Dust and renovation material all over with sounds even when we are in the room - Service is very poor to the extent I asked if the management changed in the last year (as we stayed in this hotel for years and were always impressed before), they replied yes - Have to call 3 times for every service request - Hotel management cannot be reached by Expedia staff or by me for simple requests despite multiple phone calls prior to arriving - Despite prior notification, sent a small car where we have to sit with luggage in our laps - After complaining repeatedly, Manager was apologetic, gave a free dinner and gave toys to kids, which is typical of this hotel staff courtesy and hospitality - After all the complaints, gave me wrong bill for extraordinary amounts. - I called to rectify. Reception staff agreed that the bill was wrong and sent me a new bill by email. Again charged another person room charges on my bill. Got fed up and notified Amex for a dispute. - Overall extremely disappointing reflecting new management as this was not our experience before. - MarK, manager was very receptive and tried his best to satisfy us on last day. But even he cannot compensate for the overall culture (poor service, lack of attentiveness to calls)

High end Days inn not a Westin

Booked a larger suite (1000sft) $250 per night, but the front desk at the check in blamed it on Orbitz and gave me a regular room. Front desk guy said that my room has most beautiful views and ended up with dirty slums. See the attached pictures. A/C does not cool the room below 20c even if you set it to 18.5c. Have to wake up every night with sweats. Have to complain to stop the drilling going on my roof 3 times. Next day speakers blowing with security testing. Nobody informed me about it. When complained, front desk gives you a blank look. Don't book a suite here. Stay in the $100 regular room, if you have to stay here and will save money. Lots of crowds at the break fast buffet, and the staff don't know who to serve. It's at best a high end Days inn not a Westin, by any stretch. I stayed at many SPG Westin hotels, and this is not a Westin.

Great business hotel in Hyderbad

Great business hotel, the staff here are super helpful and great. Rooms are spacious and clean. They hotel helped me with early checkin which after a 24 hour journey was very much appreciated. Pool area great and relaxing in such a busy city. Spa service was very relaxing, excellent massage. Would recommend this hotel for a trip in Hyderbad!

4 Days in Hyderabad with Westin Hotel

We booked this hotel as recommended by one of my friends. With Expedia. It can say it was great experience hotel local it's in heart of IT hub HiTech city. Hotel facilities are highly standard and maintained. Fine resturents with delicious Indian food. Staff are very pleased and help full. I stayed at 15th floor it was nice view.

Good. But not the Best

There was construction going on at night and I could frequently hear them working. Also the spa was not the greatest, I had a massage there but it didn't fee relaxing at all. There was noice coming from the AC unit and their speakers for music wasn't working. Would not recommend the spa.

Great stay

It was great stay, Food was way too spicy and not very well made. Most flavors are very intense.

Nice hotel, ideally located to all tech companies.

Barely spent any time in the hotel, except few hours to sleep in the room as I had lot of meetings and things I attended. First day I invited 4 friends and ordered food. After they left I asked them to clean the table etc. They cleaned the table and did not replace the plates, glasses etc and didn't clean couple of places on the floor where the food was dropped. I had to call again to take care of this. Second day afternoon when I came to take a nap, there was lot of work like hitting the floor with a hammer above my bedroom. I had to call the front desk and they stopped it after 10 minutes. Second night the waterfall in the suite started to get so noisy and woke me up. They fixed it next day after I called the front desk. I would still choose this hotel next time but these things aren't expected.

The club level rooms were Amazing and the staff was so kind and hospitable! The lobby restaurant was superb with so many options to choose from. It was delectable. Shirin was especially kind and attentive. The only complaint about my stay is it was too short!

Shocking.

5* Westin is good but doesn't quite match peers

It's big, modern and comfortable. Would I stay there again? No. It just doesn't quite deliver on the same level as Taj and Trident group hotels for me. Service in the hotel restaurants was poor - either too slow or overbearing but never right. And how can a bar in a "luxury" hotel not sell a single bourbon? One other tip if you are staying at Westin: take some mosquito repellent. While I don't blame the hotel for the mosquitos (unlike some other reviewers) they are a major issue so be warned. Next time I'll stay at a Trident or Taj hotel.

Extra day charge for early check-in.

Terrible. Had to pay an extra day charge just to check in early, in order to take a shower after nearly 24 hours of flying or waiting in airports.

Only stay here because you have work nearby

The hotel is decent - but situated where it is in the Embassy Golf Links park, there is really nothing much that you can do in the evenings. The Gym was good and had a good range of cross trainers and running machines etc., and the swimming pool was clean and well maintained. The biggest issue with the hotel is the swarm of mosquitos. You cannot sit outside in the evening without being bitten to death - so those who are sensitive to mosquito bites - please take precautions such as vast amounts of insect repellents etc. The issue cannot be escaped in your room either - I was bitten several times and despite the plug in repellent in the room. I eventually plugged it into a socket next to my bed and that seemed to have worked. The food choices are not vast - the buffet was okay, the A la Carte menu was limited and you were hard pushed to find something exciting to eat each evening as you are pretty much stuck in the hotel due to the surrounding area.

Westin staff is a winner!!
