Our stay was very comfortable and homey. The suite was massive, and the views around the resort were breathtaking. Would absolutely stay again.
Great ski side resort, but it’s getting run down
We came to Revelstoke and stayed here unexpectedly due to a very “last minute” change in our itinerary/route - what a find! Everything was wonderful and we will definitely be back for a longer stay. We stayed in a two roomed suite which was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds too which is always a bonus!
I would recommend this hotel.
This is a beautiful mountain resort. Our room had top end appliances and was a lovely layout with a fireplace, sitting area and king size bed. The mattress was a bit soft for my taste but other than that it was a perfect night stay.
No dining or fastfood nearby so no choice but to dine in the hotel bar and grill resto. In building 1 there's one hot tub and for you to go to the other pool & hot tub you have to go out of building one and got to the other building which kinda inconvinient since it is already cold outside and you have to walk 5 mins from building 1 to building 2.
very nice property surrounded by Mountains
The construction nearby and large crane blocked the beauty of the surrounding mountains
Excellent accommodation
Absolutely beautiful property! We only stayed a night but upon check in we were told our room was upgraded complimentary, which was a suprise, but a great one at that. The suite we had was massive and so beautiful. Lots of room for activies. Haha
Our room was beyond expectations. It was especially nice to have our own washer and dryer. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and helpful. Great place to stay.
The WiFi in the room 2639 was not working properly. We need to go to lobby to connect the WiFi.
There was only one restaurant open and it was very busy. Our food took over an our to come. Other than that everything was great.
We enjoyed our over night stay at this hotel very much. Parking was an initial concern with all the construction in the area, but once we were checked in we were able to park underground. Excellent restaurant and dining facility as well.
The hotel upgraded us to a wonderful 3 bedroom suite. The food at the Rockford Grille was very good
Very nice property. Will definitely stay again.
Beautiful facility. Lots to do.
We stayed in a suite here and the room was lovely, so much space and the bed was super comfy, would recommend!
Hotel itself was very nice, also the staff. However, our room looked immed over a building site ! Work started 0630 in the morning. Very noisy
Spacious with high ceilings. Miele appliances. Plenty of comfortable seating. Comfortable bed and bedding.
Upgraded room, many amenities
65th birthday
Lots of construction right now but not a deterrent
What a pleasant stay at Sutton Place Hotel! We traveled with our dog, and this hotel doesn’t limit dog-friendly rooms to just the first floor, which was really nice — we stayed in a lovely suite on the 6th floor. They offer a couple of EV charging spots in their parking area, which is complimentary. The kitchen in the suite was equipped with Miele appliances, which was a nice surprise. The website didn’t mention this, but the bathrooms have both a shower booth and a bathtub! The ensuite laundry was also a plus. Complimentary coffee/tea station at the lobby, friendly staff — the list goes on. We will definitely return to explore more of Revelstoke!
Warm welcome and efficient check-in. Exceptional accommodations, spotless. Exemplary service from all staff across the resort. Excellent food. Really enjoyed our stay.
We loved the pool area and all the other activities at the property. The rooms are clean, well appointed and comfortable and the dining options are great! Excellent food and fair pricing.
Lovely place
The hotel was very nice, modern and spacious. The staff helped us out when we asked for a different view (not construction). There are lots of amenities at the hotel and if you are active there is LOTS to do there. I would recommend this hotel.
Great location
Nice hotel and property.
This was an excellent resort, staff very helpful and friendly. Easy access to all activities
An excellent hotel with access to numerous activities, dining and nature.
Excellent stay
Improvements needed
We were disappointed, upon arrival, to find our reservation had been lost by your hotel … however, good staff member retrieved it from Hotels.com and rectified the situation. We enjoyed our large, comfortable suite with a fireplace and an excellent view of the mountain and activities! We were not pleased with the poor condition and uncleanliness of your hallway and suite carpeting and all of the dirt in your underground parkade.
Loved our stay. Wonderful property
Lots of construction around
Loved the resort, great amenities.
It was great
Excellent staff! Room was very clean and well maintained. Beautiful area. Fitness centre, outdoor hot tubs, pool and indoor hot tub are all very clean and well maintained. Reasonable rates. Will be staying here the next time I come to revelstoke
Beautiful location and hotel
Our room was showing it’s age with a bit of wear and tear, but overall a very nice place.
We enjoyed our stay in the suite we got. Although some of the furnitures are a bit worn out it is still a good value for what we paid. Wish there are more restaurants to choose from.
There was a scheduled power outage, and I was told by the time I check in (Can't notice it in advance??) No power most of the time while we stay, what a nightmare......
Exquisite experience at Sutton place.
It was amazing. Our studio suite was more like an Airbnb with all the facilities. Even there was a cook top. Other facilities in the hotel included swimming pool, hot tub, gym etc. Also there are number of activities for kids at Sutton place. Pipe Coaster is not to be missed.
Rooms were very nice.
Service and rooms were amazing!!! Especially for price
Beautiful property! Great rooms and restaurants! The staff were extremely kind and helpful! We were even upgraded to a suite with a kitchen and living room for our anniversary! We will be going back for sure!
Excellent room. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Liked how everything was close by
Loved the place but overall thought it had room for improvement. The elevator and parking garage were dirty. My kids went in the pool and came out complaining it was dirty, this has never happened before. The place has a lot of potential but needs improvement.
Has a very nice location. They have a lot of activity at the resort, so it is like all at 1 place. We loved the area.
First time in Revelstoke and stayed here en route to Banff. Room was spacious and beds are very comfortable. The parking underground was quite full. Dog friendly. No ice in the room and a tiniest of ice trays to make it. Had dinner at the Rockford and enjoyed it. Love to come back again!
Top notch resort 👌
Had to go outside to get to the restaurants. Was raining. And the day we left only 1 elevator working. Waited over 45 minutes to go down to parkade with our luggage.
Staff was pleasant and very helpful. Service was prompt, kind and generous. Facility is clean and spacious. Great staycation desitination
Beautiful big room with washer and dryer. Loved the pool and hot tub
Excellent property and staff.
Will Return with more time….
Check in @ 3:30pm was fast. Super courteous & efficient. Room wasn’t ready but by the time the 7min chk in was done, so was the room.
Really amazing property and great customer service
Only one restaurant open on weekday during August Building starting to look like it neeeds refresh, showing its age. Shut down pool for the day
Only complaint is that the pool was closed for maintenance…when paying this much for a hotel the rate should be reduced if the pool is closed. It’s the main amenity in the summer months.
Loved it
I love the outdoor 'village' area, when you walk outside to the outdoor pool, you pass by a couple of shops and restaurants. Beautiful views, lots of activities such as the gondola, mountain biking and the mountain 'roller coaster' to name a few. My room was large with high ceilings with a balcony and kitchenette/living room area. Perfect spot for fun and relaxation. The front staff were very nice and informative, check in for me was quick. I like the underground parking and how easy it was to get from my car to the front lobby. This hotel/resort is beautiful and I highly recommend staying here.
Located next to all activities. Huge suits for families.
Underground Parking lot is terrible
Was such a lovely experience, we'll definitely be back!
Excellent location, great facilities on site - activities, hotel and food. Major construction around it at present not a big issue but need to be aware.
Pool needs more chairs, loungers, umbrellas $ food
I enjoyed the stay. Main room for improvement is to expand the pool area which is much too tight for a resort hotel of this size. The area they have could use more chairs and loungers and umbrellas. Should have as many as the area can handle. An obvious "fix" is to expand the pool patio to the north by cementing the grass/weed area to the right (north?) of the pool and then extending the pool area there to provide more space for loungers, chairs, and tables. Also it would be good if you could order food/nibblies at the pool instead of just drinks. I know they don't have a kitchen but they could do a "room service" type situation like they have with the rooms.
Pleasant stay. Needs some updating and freezer needs maintenance, but overall, the facility was a joy.
Generally nice property. Check in was quite slow. Booked two rooms expecting they would be close to each other. Not the case. In separate buildings. Had to wait 20 minutes for the front desk to resolve the issue. Got same building but not same floor.
The room was very nice with a large kitchen area and very nice bathroom with heated floors.
Beautiful Property!!!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sutton Place Hotel in Revelstoke, and I must say, it was a truly memorable experience. Nestled amidst the breathtaking beauty of the Selkirk Mountains, this hotel offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and natural beauty. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in process and making me feel right at home. The lobby itself exudes elegance with its stylish decor and cozy ambiance. The room I stayed in was nothing short of spectacular. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully furnished with modern amenities. The plush bedding and luxurious linens provided a restful night’s sleep, and the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains from the private balcony were simply stunning. The room also featured a fully equipped kitchen, which was a nice touch for those who prefer to prepare their own meals. Overall, my experience at the Sutton Place Hotel Revelstoke was exceptional. Whether you're seeking adventure on the slopes or a peaceful retreat in the mountains, this hotel offers the perfect blend of luxury and nature. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Revelstoke.
Beautiful resort in Revelstoke, where you can participate in archery, the gondola rides, and go to sport school right at the resort. The room was comfortable and equipped with L’occitane beauty products and high end appliances like Miele and sub-zero. Do not check in to the hotel after sundown! The drive from town center to the hotel is far, windy roads, and pitch black. Scary! Google maps had a hard time finding the hotel.
Well kept, quiet
Good stay. 1 hr after check in room was still not ready. We were given one that looked on to a construction site, so balcony was caked in dirt. Two bedroom suite, only one room unlocked. Staff had to come unlock it. Overall, it was good, not great. Could have been better.
Shops closing at 6pm was too early. It would have been nice to shop in the evening after a shower and supper.
Very accessible activities
We like staying at The Sutton Place in Revelstoke. We just wish that the property could have been cleaner. It’s a shame that for such a nice hotel but the cleaning part was subpar. Our room was clean but if you look at it thoroughly, there were garbage under the bed or behind the bedside table that the housekeeping staff did not checked. The window blinds and ledges are very dusty. Also, the hallways and the other lobby around the building are dirty that it looks like nobody cleans it. And the pool area was never been sweep it looks like when we were there in the morning. Overall, we liked our stay here because they gave us free upgrade every time we stay here which is great! In my opinion, the housekeeping staff just need to do better and put a little more love and care for the property.
good
Fairly new hotel with amenities inside & outside for dining, shopping, recreation. The lift to recreations on the hill (skiing, hiking, biking) is right by the hotel.
Great having amenities right at the resort
This is an amazing property with breathtaking views and amazing staff... except for one moody entitled young lady that was out waitress during breakfast and ruined our experience. Horrible service, no coffee refills and so on. If you love your teenage daughter being moody and bitxhing you out for no reason, you'll love the service at the restaurant.
I loved our stay in the 3BR. The place is great, spacious, and clean, reasonable for the price rates. However, the TV connection in our room is not working and there is an extra charge if you have another car to park in the vicinity.
Our particular room had 2 decks.. one of which was inhabited by a rather large wasp nest. Despite calling down to the front desk twice to have someone deal with the situation no one ever did come up to assess and deal with it. We sat outside for a while but had to go inside due to the wasps. Nest remains there after our check out.
Best hotel experience I’ve ever had.
This is the most luxurious property in Revelstoke. The rooms are very spacious.
Good service
Fantastic staff and a great property. Would recommend to all. Best hotel in the area.
Very beautiful property with unbelievable views. The staff in hotel and restaurants were all very welcoming and do friendly. We will be back!
We love that this hotel is conveniently located at the revelation gondola so we could just go back and forth from our room to there ☺️
Fantastic location at base of ski lift/mtn coaster but we had a Friday evening power outage (real bummer) and had issues with the ensuite washer dryer (took 3 building ops personnel to figure out how to open the busted washer door lock). Accommodated for late check out. The suite was fantastic, super clean, but furniture showing some aging. Super slow elevators (we took stairs) but otherwise awesome pool and hotel amenities. Would definitely stay again but not facing pool (outdoor pool is located building 2, 2nd floor).
Property is nice and clean. Pool was great and the service there was fantastic. The restaurant staff could learn a thing or two. The service at the Rockford was almost non-existent, it was absolutely terrible. Food was incredibly overpriced for what you get, especially when you see the GFS truck dump off premade frozen crap. Pipecoaster staff were also fantastic though. Power outage that lasted for a couple hours, things happen - not a big deal. But the fact that the restaurant staff were just so confused as to what to do to collect payment when everything was down, no back up plan other than asking people to sit there until the power came back on. It was pretty ridiculous.
It’s right in the middle of the resort so you can’t beat location. Food on resort is overpriced but we had a ton of fun with the pipe coaster and aerial adventure park one day and lounged at the pool. It wasn’t crowded. The gym should open earlier. Says 8 am on the sign but the paper on check in said 7 am. We wake up early like 5 am to work out so that was not convenient at all - it’s not a monitored space anyways so why not open it up earlier!!! Staff amazing and super friendly
it seems likebthey have difficulty with labor shortage. thevpool is so dirty and was not maintained well. the room was old and dirty as well.
Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location.
It has a very nice pool.
Lovely property! Our room was large, beautiful and had a view of the mountains. Staff was friendly too. We look forward to visiting again soon.
Very nice stay. Loved the pool and sauna.
Always love this place. Ever since our Covid stay we have been back. Unique location and ambiance and the aesthetics are perfect. Laid back and relaxed. So glad they are building staff housing, since staff are what make it work. Intuitive management figured that out. Bravo!
Great except the resort fee
Watch out for the lame resort fee not included with Hotels.com
