My recent 9 night stay at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with unparalleled hospitality, exceptional service, and unforgettable culinary experiences that left me thoroughly impressed. I was upgraded kindly to the sea view room and it was lovely. The butler and housekeeping team are exceptional. One of the highlights of my stay was the outstanding breakfast experience which finishes at 1pm. Which meant my fam could have a proper lie in! The morning ambiance was set perfectly, with beautiful views and a welcoming atmosphere. The full team including Chef Lalit Singh and Waseem were always ready to cater to my families needs with a genuine smile. The beach is natural at the St Regis which is a big plus! Their are also 4 pools to choose from and the pool staff including Kamal and Akhil were very attentive. Unfortunately the outdoor wet area at the kids club was under refurbishment but I can foresee younger kids loving this area once completed. Overall if your looking for a prestigious property, calm ambiance and attentive staff. This is the place.

Best staycation for a relaxed weekend.

Exceeds expectations in every aspect. Right from the start, check in went amazing thanks a million Sana! The room is unbelievably specious beautiful and luxurious. The breakfast more like a full brunch. We had an amazing dinner at "Sontaya" amazing quality and service thank you Ayla and team. Overall the service at this hotel is at another level even when sitting at the pool you get ice bucket wih water and ice cream! And last, the hotel has an amazing beach not to miss.

Great hotel, lovely stay!

We had a great time staying at the property for a one-week vacation with a toddler. The beach is nice and not too crowded (but a bit hot in mid May). We spent a lot of time at the main pool and the kids club. The staff were all courteous, friendly and a pleasure to work with. The kids club is well appointed with different sections that cater to different age groups (our toddler spent a lot of time next to the brio train play area). During the weekend locals like to visit the property with a day-pass and it was nice to see the kiddie pool at the kids club filled with fun and laughter. Some local kids (and hotel guests) were very rude to the staff and disregarded the safety warnings. The kids club manager handled it with grace but it may be a good idea to keep a watchful eye on the weekend pool area for the safety of your own kid(s) since there could be kids that walk all over their parents and other adults (and somehow get to checked into the kids club by themselves). Special thanks to lifeguard Sajith who kept the little ones safe with a great sense of humor, pool staff Kamal, Nirmal and Islom who consistently went above and beyond to make our time by the main pool enjoyable. Thank you and we hope to be back again soon!

The St Regis is a high end luxurious experience in resort hospitality. It is fantastic for families - sun, sand, sea, pools and kids clubs. The food will tantalise everyone's tastebuds, have no doubt! The staff are exceptionally helpful, friendly and appear sincere in wanting to make your stay a perfect one. No request is too much and they cannot do enough for you. If you want to have first hand experience of what an exemplar in hospitality is, come here. We would like to thank the staff we can remember, but there were too many to mention: Murtaza (our butler), Sarita, Anit, Elena, Matthew, Zia and sorry for those whose names we cannot recall. Best stay in saadiyat!

Superb hotel

This hotel is set on Saadiyat island which is outside of central Dubai. It is near to The Louvre and a few other sites.It is close to the beach and is in an area you could take a walk. There is a grocery store very close by. The food at the hotel was very expensive, comparable to what you would pay at a 5 star New York City Hotel. You do not have to pay those kind of prices in Dubai. Also, as an older person, I spent time in my room. Staff was constantly knocking on the door….to clear a tray, to check the mini bar, to see if I needed something, and more. I found this so disruptive to my stay. Also, I could not Check-in until 45 minutes past the check in time. I would not stay there again.

Almost perfect.

It is a very nice resort and we would love to give it a ten, however there are some service failures which should be remedied 1. Key cards fail 50 percent of the time. It is no fun to be lockedout after a swim, shivering in the icy hallways and then having to appear half naked on the reception to get a replacement key. Happened at least 5 tines during each stay. There is NO EXCUSE for this. (we were given various: the cards were too close to a phone - nope, the cards were timed out - at 10 am?, etc etc) 2. The welcome fruit basket is for decoration purposes only, most fruit is either unripe, or dried out (mandarins) or brown inside (plums). The good fruit is readily available in Abu Dhabi, again, there is no excuse for that sort of "welcome" 3. fridges in both rooms weren't working. In fact, they kept our water WARMER. the rest was excellent: the pools the butler service the valet service The buffet is out of this world. .

One of my best staycations ever had in the UAE, and this thanks to the friendliness , and courtesy of staffs besides the top notch facilities of the resort, without forgetting the quality of food around the resort and especially the all day dining restaurant

Excellent buffet for breakfast and dinner

Amazing.

The hotel overall is nice but it’s a very big hotel and pool and beach are quite far from rooms. Family friendly, full of kids everywhere. Breakfast is great, but other than that, it feels like a 4 stars hotel compared with other 5 stars in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Great but beware of falling!

Outstanding hotel but bathrooms floors are VERY slippery especially that the showers are badly designed with water splashing out. They should at the minimum put signs to inform their clients of this serious design problem.

Fantastic Resort

Fantastic resort. Upgraded to a sea view - beautiful room with great balcony. All the staff were wonderful and friendly. Great pools and beach. Fresh fruit every day and the occasional treat from the butler - chocolate, figs, berries. Extended our stay from 3 to 9 nights. Restaurants are great but expensive by North American standards. There’s a small Spinney’s grocery on-site with everything you’d need. Also a liquor store but it’s difficult to find - ask.

Amazing. Will return. Only issue I had was a deposit of 1k. That’s crazy. Was only there for 3 nights. I can see a few hundred not the cost of the stay.

The beach was stunning. The staff were amazing. And the food delicious (brunch at Buddha Bar! Lobster curry at Sontaya! Tea in the Drawing Room!) This is a place where we would definitely return. Some small suggestions: our Nespresso machine had issues and was not replaced as promised, we expected some beach toys or beach bag (as we often find at beach oriented properties of this caliber), and there wasn’t really a charging dock for technology (my iPhone got really hot using the one clock with ports). Also an environmental note: there were single use individual plastic bottles everywhere. Even just moving to refillable glass bottles in the room would be a notable step in the right direction. Nonetheless, the staff and the location truly made this holiday special for our family and we highly recommend it.

Give this hotel a miss

Possibly the worst customer service ever. From waiters not bringing the correct order, and then having breakfast cleared from our table while still eating. We went out at 9am one day, returning at 5pm, and our room had not been serviced. We needed a doctor one evening, but the hotel refused any help. We finally had enough when woken on the Friday morning by the television coming on automatically at full power at 04.50 am. Definitely give this hotel a miss

Beautiful and great hotel

A wonderful and beautiful resort, the check-in and check-out procedures were easy, the staff were wonderful and the service was excellent. There are several wonderful swimming pools, the beach is beautiful and clean, the breakfast was varied and delicious, I wish there was a valet parking service. Thank you all and especially Paula Estavillo for being so kind while arranging the booking.

An amazing hotel. I was traveling on my own and got upgraded to a suite. I only wish i could have spent more time enjoying the facilities and the beach, but had a busy schedule.

Great vacations for families

Great hotel, great service, Fatima is the best looking after the amenities and events are perfect. The concierge was really helpful, and Sarita made a special occasion for our kids. Budda Bar has a great location and ambiance, the food is really tasty and fresh! our waitress made a great night for us with top service

Great choice for a staycation with the family !!

I could not rate St. Regis higher. It was five star service from the moment I entered the hotel. I was so impressed by the care, professionalism and attentiveness of staff throughout the duration of my stay. From welcome drinks and homemade chocolate treats, phenomenal butler service, fabulous breakfasts and tasty lunch and dinner at the various restaurants to pristine views, a relaxing adult only pool and dining area, deer meandering on the green and a wonderful spa. I already booked another trip!

Luxury hotel with average food

Nice and spacious hotel however food was average especially room service and on site restaurant Buddha bar wasn’t authentic.

The only disappointing detail is that no showers are available on the beach; you would like to wash away the salt from yourself when sunbathing after a swim

Terrible service

I came to at regis few years ago and was very disappointed with the service then it’s was my friends daughters birthday and they chose this hotel and I was again terrible service at arrival with no valet while valet was provided to other clients arriving at the same, check in was terrible, bath was dirty with hair, on the second say after a long day at the pool I come back to the room with massive flood in front of the door and plaster from the ceiling falling off!!! No apology from the hotel management and no compensation for the inconvenience !! Never will I return to this hotel again!! Worse service in the whole of the UAE and would certainly not rate it a 5 star

Love the place. It’s mostly the friendly staff that go out of their way to make you feel happy and comfortable. Specially the life guards.. constantly keeping an eye on kids and even sharing with them toys and joking with them if they seem them bored.

Excellent overall. Just the in room dining wasn’t the best but they removed it from our bill. The building from outside needs maintenance though but everything else is perfect and the service is super.

It was an amazing stay, we wish we could stay longer. The breakfast was superb and the place was nice and clean. Gayathri and Chef Randima were great help in the restaurant Olea. The pool and beach were nice and hopefully we can visit again.

10/10 perfect stay

First of all ,we got room upgraded and also late checkout . After few staycations in Abu Dhabi , my husband and I we both agree that This resort has the top service ,especially housekeeping, pool /beach staff, breakfast staff. and we believe that hotel runs great staff training program. Breakfast is excellent, nice and no waste.

Awesome as always

Awesome beach, the best in UAE, the ocean is nice for enjoy waves! hotel facilities are in great condition, and breakfast is really good, the staff is always looking after you, and taking care of all needs. Fatima is outstanding from the staff, really engaging with people, and helping to take the best of the experiencce. The only point to be aware of, if you are traveling with toddlers, is the water pad for kids is closed, but you can find tons of fun for them in the pools or over the beach.

Get away!

It was an excellent weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed the staycation.

Relaxing on the white beach

It was a best choice quality/price when I was choosing one hotel in Sadiyat Island. The hotel environment were the best I tried in Abu Dhabi. Staff it was amazing, kind and generous. Unfortunately water sports were not available due to Abu Dhabi restrictions against Covid-19.

The hotel was amazing. The staff are so polite and respectful and ensure that everything is perfect for their guests.

My second stay

Apart from the check in , everything else was perfect. I visited the same hotel a week earlier. The guy who checked me in the first time was very professional and understanding, made an excellent first impression about the hotel. The guy in the next stay though wasn't as professional. I'm sure by time he will get to understand how to anticipate a family needs in three rooms check in and rooms allocation. Perhaps it was the fullness of the bookings at the time but still there were more to offer. I had to resolve the check-in dilemma myself, I got rooms with lower standards than my original booking without compensation to keep the family close. This won't change my mind about St Regis Saadiyat. We will definitely visit again. Awesome resort and beach.

Amazing five star property. Staff well trained and courteous. Spectacular beach with real waves and perfect sand. One of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever been to is Santoya which is located onsite and will not disappoint!

Family Fantastic

We have stayed on two different occasions, both for one night, both in the Sea View Premium room. The view is absolutely beautiful, the hotel also has a remote feel to it even though it is conveniently located in Abu Dhabi. Book with the breakfast included, you won't be disappointed. The entire experience was first class, this is our favorite hotel in the UAE now.

It was an excellent stay cation! though it was Eid break but everything was under control the service is 10 our of 10. The breakfast was amazing with lot of variety to choose from. We were a huge group everyone had a great time with zero complain.

partial sea room

We booked a full sea view room and they gave us a partial sea room view room even though I called after booking to confirm it was a full sea view room.

It's without a doubt one of the best 5 star hotels in Abu Dhabi. The room with seaview was perfect. I liked the menu for breakfast and they took note of my request of non dairy yoghurt for the next day. EXCEPT for the staff at the check in counter, every one else was helpful, courteous and made me feel welcomed. By the way, I would like to mention Ms. Brani of Mazi restaurant for the excellent service.

Our stay was a memorable one, with exceptional and amazing facilities. While breakfast was not your typical buffet due to the current health precautions, it was a la cart served directly to you table, but was of the highest quality and with wide variety that we as a family all enjoyed. What made the difference were the hospitable and welcoming nature of all staff, to name and thank a few: Gayathri and Akhil from the restaurant staff; Lennon and Shaik from the front desk area staff, and Francis, Emmanuel and William from the pool support staff... you all contributed to our enjoyment and good vibes while staying at the hotel, and we thank you all for the amazing spirits and high quality service you provided!!!

From the check in to the checkout everything was great everything was smooth and perfect

Fabulous resort with spectacular scenery and amenities. My question is how did such a wonderful place end up with the staff from Fawlty Towers? After a wait of around 45 minutes in an empty restaurant, we were served stale club sandwiches. Breakfast involved a seies of unfortunate events involving cold food and foul-tasting tea. The pool bar took 50 minutes to bring a couple of beers. The saving grace was dinner at the fantastic Sontaya restaurant which offers excellent cuisine and professional staff.

Amazing hotel. Halfboard not rewarded.

The hotel service and beach were amazing, staff very friendly and welcoming. Only drawback, we booked a half board but were surprised that we have to pay the restaurant without any option (set menu or equivalent) included in the halfboard apart from a credit which was not enough even to cover the main dish !! I complained to the management and was partially reimbursed . I think this issue need to be solved for future visits ... Otherwise my stay was amazing and the property is excellently maintained

We were quite frustrated with the check-in process. The first room we were given clearly the previous guests had smoked in the room (and there was no doubt about it, as my Wife had the same comment within 5 seconds of coming into the room). After being switched rooms, we called the reception 3 times to have them bring the baby cot (after requesting that the bed be brought up immediately at the check-in). We waited for over an hour in the room, before deciding to move out, as our child was getting restless from being unable to take his nap.Very frustrating check-in experience... We also had made a tennis court reservation, however, as it was raining, we asked the reception whether the court was indoor, or else we would cancel our babysitting service we had requested, however the court is actually outdoor, and only discovered this upon showing up... While the staff is friendly, we felt that the service was really not out to par for the standing/price being charged. While the beach and facilities are great (and that’s why we came back), I don’t believe we will go back after this experience. All of this feedback was given to the hotel, but no note/apology as again would have expected from a hotel of this standing. Restaurants in the hotel are very good.

Attention to detail and level of service from lobby and check in staff.

The facilities of the property was good however, the service was slow and i had to request them to fill the bathroom with shampo and soup as it was not available. I requested for special anniversary treatment but there was nothing special in the room. After we entered the room they send us one cheap baloon and some bad arabic desserts

Facilities very good. Staff were all lovely. Constantly had to chase up housekeeping to service room though.
